Third person POV Citadel council chambers bunker
The Councilor's Tevos, Sparatus, and Valern stood in the bunker created for an invasion and a safe place for the councilors should the need arise like now. The news was bad about how their homeworlds were under attack, the batarians attacking their colony worlds and their forces in disarray and the citadel under attack and their forces were losing. Tevos was sure even if they survived this then nothing would be the same she should have pushed for peace harder but she was convinced to agree for the war. The technology the humans had was too good to pass up and FTL travel that was too valuable to pass up along with all the other technology. The man responsible for that was Alexios Auditore.
" We have a chance to capture him if we can. He will be forced to talk, he will tell us everything we wish to know when he does, we can force this so-called union to disband and punish the Human,Krogan, quarians and wipe out the geth and deal with the batarians". Sparatus said while the war had raged on he was quite insistent on the no mercy policy. He wanted Auditore executed as well after all the personnel blamed him for the death of many turians.
" Auditore needs to be captured to be sure". Valern agreed in part but he wanted the technology the Union possessed and well he sent many Salarian STG teams to their deaths at the hands of Auditore and each failure was felt. He wanted to test his DNA and see what they could use, perhaps see if cross breeding was possible; there were several projects on his homeworld that were keen on humans like the human genophage that was in development along with one for the quarians. " But once we manage to hold them off for reinforcements to arrive we ca-". Tevos flared her bionics and made them both stop talking. She just wanted them to shut up and help deal with this mess, by the goddess she hoped those commandos she dispatched were close to Auditore.
Third person POV Citadel forces battle of the citadel
Captain Adjurinus watched as the reinforcements arrived that brought their numbers to 1082 soldiers plus four APC's and two tanks. The turian militiamen and turian military forces were a welcome sight and they would be taking the lead while he was told to bring up the rear as he was told to stay back and let the professionals handle was until the casualties were rolling in within the hour 202 were dead and the advance was stopped dead. The mechs had set traps and ambushes and most of those things were almost as bad as the spirits damn geth who were living up to their horror stories at the mainlines. He heard they were tearing the militia apart and c-sec the actual militaries of the armed force were also having a next to impossible task of dealing with the union's advance.
"Sir we just got word that several squads were taken out by an unknown type of mech sending you the recording". His omni-tool came alive. The mech in question was big and heavily armored and armed. It possesses twin automatic mass accelerator cannons concealed in the right arm and a rocket launcher in the left. It also had two turrets placed on the mech's shoulder facing forward, the turrets house two ML-77 Missile Launchers arranged in a tri barrel Gatling gun formation. That damn thing was a literal walking tank.

Blitz YMIR: This model is designed to outright assault enemy bases and to help defend allied ground units from enemy armor and aircraft. While this model has the canon arms/weapons it is double the size of the normal YMIR, it also has 2 other weapons now. Those weapons being 2 turrets placed on the mech's shoulder facing forward, the turrets house ML-77 Missile Launchers arranged in a tri barrel Gatling gun formation. Each barrel fires a 3 missile burst before switching to another once all 3 have fired once the turret fires them back and reloads them, namely used on clustered enemies or if enemy air power arrives. The main missile launcher in the left arm is reserved for enemy armor such as Mako's or tanks.
" Well shit can someone please tell what else the Union is going to pull out of their ass today". Captain Adjurinus just wanted this to end.
" Sir we have asari commandos entering the AO". That was the final straw that made Captain Adjurinus realize this was just going to get bigger then he was prepared for.
Third person POV citadel 105th turian infantry squad Talon
The turians were moving though one of the destroyed buildings they were walking over some destroyed mechs(AN: Regular LOKI mechs from the games) they were not the models that were giving them trouble.
" Ok, listen up where are meeting up with squad Zerus from what they reported it looks like we're going to run into unknown mech models meaning this will be unknown to all of us so stay sharp and in formation". The squad leader said as they moved up the street to the location but they only saw several dead turians that looked like they were hacked up or electrocuted.
" Proceed with great caution". The squad leader said as they went into the building. They were greeted with the remains of squad Zerus. They had split up and searched the rooms and they were able to find a survivor.
" Sir we have a survivor". The squad leader walked over to where their medic had pulled out the wounded turian. The turian in question was missing an arm the medic was able to stop the bleeding for now.
" What happened here". He was short and to the point.
" Unknown mech hit us, never seen one move like that. It was fast and too damn durable, boxed us in here, jammed out comms then just took us one after another was only one at first then another one showed up". The Turian was scared looking around the room. " They were machines but the way they moved was beyond anything I have ever seen. The way they moved was like an asari dancer mixed with a Salarian STG agent and asari huntress or commando no machine should be able to move like that". The sound of silence was the main thing in the room now. " I know Red five was nearby but it….it sounded bad on the comms' '. The turians started to get ready to move out until the top half of one of the turians was thrown into the room. The turains aimed their Phaeston rifles at the area and they stopped when they saw it. It was roughly two meters tall, with a humanoid body shape, but possessed a far-superior mechanical anatomy from the look of it. It had two red photoreceptor eyes which were complemented by a red orb mounted on the chest. They wielded a double-blade staff weapon that cracked with an electricity discharge.
" The age of the citadel is over". The deep and robotic voice said and that's when the dying started. The thing moved fast and had armor and heavy barriers the machine was getting close to. The turian squad leader died when a blade pierced through skull with little resistance. The turians fired at the mechs hoping to kill the mechanical abominations but it had little to no effect. The next three minutes the turians were dead and the machines walked away without a scratch.
Third person POV Battle of the Citadel the frontlines the wards
The frontline was a nightmare for anyone fighting the Union forces set up FOB's along the landing zones. The soldiers of the Union were throwing the Citadel force into a right hell as they were woefully unprepared for the fighting they were facing. Rhino plasma mortar tanks were firing on the citadel force from a dangerous close range and scorpion tanks were pushing slowly but surely. There were areas where only the infantry could reach. The wards were one such place. The Krogan lead the close quarter campaign in the wards with members of the Clan Nakmor lead the charge and Nakmor Drack was leading the charge in the worst of the fighting. The area they were at was the entrance to a bunker where civilians were at; they were not going to hurt them, just make sure they stayed out of danger. The gangs were fighting with the citadel forces too but they were no match for them. Drack shoulder slammed into an asari and slammed his hammer down on her chest ending her life. He watched as the c-sec force retreated from the area. There had to be at least 300 c-sec dead he guested they thought they would be able to hold out with the gangs helping but most ran when they were confronted by their forces. He saw four human N7 operatives advancing ahead; he already knew their mission was above his pay grade. A Krogan close quarter combat team moved into the building across from his location. Drack smiled as he saw his SCI, a quarian who was a true Krogan with a quarian body.
" Sir, we managed to get into the bunker. The non combatants are terrified of us but we did find the access tunnels we should be able to send troops in and flank the citadel force rather easily but there are thousands in the bunker". Rotor'Jolan vas Ceekor or just Rotor said as he used his omni-tool to bring up the bunker layout. " We can send a few squads in at a time on the lift at a time they'll have to be good if the citadel forces are in the tunnels' '. Rotor said and Drack knew that.
" Send word for a few squads of the N7s ODST hell even spartans if they are available to use the tunnels have them give the citadel to right hook well keep a few squad's here to control the area". Drack said as he and his force got to work. Drack wanted this done soon; he wanted more of that human scotch and whiskey mixed together and those stakes.
Third person POV Citadel forces battle of the citadel Alexios
Alexios dropped the body of an asari commando on the ground and her neck bent at an awkward angle. He scoffed as he walked over her body and looked at the dead around him. His armor had dents in it and small black marks from incendiary rounds.
[A lost Asari commandos and specters thought they could do better though they were led by one mean bitch] He thought as he shot a turian in the chest dropping it. His plasma caster fired on the turian gunship and went through the kinetic barriers and armor and hit the pilot causing the gunship to spin out of control and crash into a building.
" Reinforcements are arriving". A B2 said as the Pelicans landed and off loaded troops most were Combat androids from his personnel factory and his nanosuit commandos. A dark smile creeped on his face when they dropped off two mechs. The mechs were shorter than a cougar light mech but built for anti personnel duty equipped with flamethrowers, plasma cannons and disruptors, the kind that can be considered a war crime he called them burnout mechs. The pilots were his X-COM Psionic soldiers. Alexios turned to the droid.
" Sound the advance for all units". Alexios' order and those orders were relayed to the droid mechs and combat androids as they marched forward the mechs were in front. He thought would be paying a visit to the dear old council and there were nice c-sec air cars right here to use and he did care about damages he was about to do.
Meanwhile with the citadel forces
" RETREAT"!
The citadel force that was after Alexios ordered his forces to attack the burnout mechs lead and it was a scene from a horror movie where men and women were burned to death. The mechs were using their plasma throwers and flamethrowers were clearing out buildings and large groups of enemies. The metal of the buildings was being melted under the heat of the burnouts weapons. An asari and her team were hit with disrupters and disintegrated, turning it to a pile of ash before the eyes of their comrades. The citadel forces fired missiles at the mechs but they did next to nothing to the thick armor. The droids fired their blasters at the retreating force and were killing them as they fled.
" All citadel dogs who lay down their arms and surrender will be spared". The droids said as they moved and many c-sec officers threw their weapons down and surrendered. Captain Adjurinus dropped his weapons and the remaining C-sec did as well he got on his omni-tool. " All force surrender I repeat surrender the battle is lost". Captain Adjurinus said as he went to his knees and hand behind his head. The whole time thinking of the damn council and his own people! As he saw a mech step on the bodies of his dead friends. His breath then stopped when the massive superdreadnought let a missile barrage down on the frontline of the citadel forces.
Third person POV Citadel forces battle of the citadel Alexios
Alexios slammed his fist into an unlucky turian's head and caving it as he sent one turian into the fire of the remains of the c-sec skycar. He fired his plasma caster at several asari commandos and killed three with three shots. Alexios looked at the carnage that was around him he killed so damn many by now he had lost count. The landing pad was covered in dead bodies now the blood of the defenders was changing the color of it. He didn't care anymore. This war is going to end today. He moved into the citadel tower and he was being shot at the moment he did. He counted three specters and multiple guards. He pulled out his plasma spear rifle and took aim. A green beam of plasma came out and struck a specter and went through his chest cavity and out his back.
" You bastard"! One of the guards said as he felt the rounds splash against his shield from the eezo based rifle another round was fired from his sniper rifle as it killed another guard. Alexios then threw a white phosphorus grenade in front of the guards and it exploded. The screams the guards made were chilling to the bone. He just ignored as he moved past the burning bodies an white smoke. He ran into an unfortunate salarian and decapitated him with his fusion blade; he fired his pistol at two guards rounding the corner. The red beams from the pistol stuck the guards in the head as they dropped. He charges a blast of psionic energy and throws it down the hallway and the explosion blows the door open due to the force of it.
" He's breached the council chambers! Protect the councilors! seal the exits"! He could hear a pissed off turian.
" Oh I don't think so". Alexios said as he took cover from the remaining guards." This won't save you three from me"! Alexios screamed at the council who he hoped could hear him. He fired several rounds off at the guards who shot back at him. He formed a psionic spear in his hand and threw it at the unlucky citadel council guard. The guard screamed as he tried to pull it but it ended up exploding in gore.[I love that fucking skill] He thought as he saw the head of one of the guards head explode from a sniper shot that was not from him. He saw Amélie and Nova coming in and dropping the guards.
" Tell me love how many times you are going to put yourself in danger today"? Amélie asked him.
" No, just want to get back home and fuck you two into unconscious". Alexios said and both women rolled their eyes." But the council is close to needing to deal with the goon squad first". Alexios said as he saw a lot of his Death troopers coming in and blasting anything that was hostile.
" Go after the councilors, we'll deal with the guards". Nova said as she killed an asari with a head shot. Amélie fired and killed a sniper while the death troopers lived up to their name; he cloaked and snuck past the guards and into the deep interior of the citadel tower. He ran fast down the hallway and shoulder rammed the first poor fool who was in his way and the broken body hit the wall. There was a lack of guards and the last two did not see him and his fusion blade came out and using his speed he killed both guards before they could let out a sound. He then started hacking into the room. The hack was not difficult for him but it did fill him with no small amount of satisfaction as the war soon ended when the doors opened and the council looked at him wide- eyed and he held out his arms wide and smirked.
" Hey, miss me asshole". Alexois then noticed Nova and Amélie were right behind him with death troopers. " Order all citadel councils, force everyone to stand down or I'll turn you into abstract pieces of art and I can be very creative when I want to be ''. The Asari councilor was the first to break then the other two. All around the citadel and citadel space the citadel council forces surrendered in mass as the call went out. Alexios being the troll sent out a message to all union forces.
" Ladies and Gentlemen victory is ours". He said and the cheers that came out were truly great.

Third person POV citadel council chambers four days after the defeat of the citadel council
Anita Goyle was dressed in her best escorted by union marines and spartans she still couldn't believe the war was finally over after all but the losses for both sides were well above a billion the final count has yet to be determined. The union had her make peace to recover and rebuild even worse after they won they found proof that former members of parliament had sent messages to the council and the turian's used the information to attack the colonies the former members of parliament Galveston and a few others were executed after their crimes came to light. The cameras that were showing them
" Your people broke citadel law by trying to open a mass relay; the 31st patrol fleet and 7th fleet had every right to uphold citadel law". Sparatus bites out at the union ambassador.
" You also forget that citadel law dictates that any citadel races and its signatory of various laws are forbidden from opening a relay, in doing so will be given an appropriate punishment to the offender. Guess what we're not one of the citadel races or its signatories so your law is inapplicable to us in fact you're the one responsible for this war by violating OUR law in OUR space by shooting the science ship and invading our colony and multiple war crimes in the treatment of the Quarian..". Anita Goyle snarled right back and she clearly came prepared to this.(AN: Thank you to kite15663 for this scene)

" No, perhaps! No joining the damn citadel what we want is to be left alone the Union wants to be left alone the reparations will only amount to the Skyllian Verge rights to colonize the Attican Traverse also no immigration for no less than five years and even then it will be restricted to certain planets and systems this is not up for debate". Anita said, eyeing the councilors who were not happy. " Also so of Multiverse Technologies has after a long and hard three day meeting agreed to give you our top mass effect based technologies and only them and his exact words "A cage is still a cage no matter how big it is'' so enjoy Councilors but remember the Union is not bound by mass effect technology and the mass relays and our guns are bigger". Anita was then having something whispered in her ear by a spartan.
" Is there something wrong Ambassador"? Tevos the Asari Councilor asked.
" The master and mistress of war have been confirmed dead by the MVT patrol fleet near relay 314 they were trying to scavenge from the ships that were destroyed when the turian's second loss at Shanxi the master and mistress refused to shut down their ships and they fought and lost quite the pity really they had quite the bounty on their heads". Anita could see the relief in the Councilors eyes.
" Good but disappointing how the master and mistress were able to gain military grade weapons and armor was disturbing to say the least". Valern the salarian Councilor said.
" When will trade be allowed to take place between the citadel and Union"? Tevos asked Anita if she had happy news.
" Parliament has decided three years before trade can be allowed. In two years if things go better than we are predicting at the moment". Anita then hit them with a curveball. " And any Specters, STG or anything else caught in Union space will be executed without a trial and will be taken as a declaration of war that is non negotiable". Anita and the council then started to discuss more and more.
Meanwhile with Alexios
" Why did you give them the tech Alexios"? Admiral Hackett asked him.
" It is rather simple to give them hope we will trade more powerful tech and besides we won't be locked in a cage like they and we have many ways to counter them even with what they been give and I'm stepping down as governor of Shanxi and may disappear for awhile nothing major just some time alone". Alexios said and Hackett nodded they couldn't really do anything and MVT was in good hands.
" So what are you planning then"? Hackett asked.
" There are several projects that will be going on when I'm gone and if trouble does happen I'll come running to help or flying but it's time I step back for a bit". Alexios told him as he walked away.
January 8th of 2157 The war between The citadel council and The Union is over, peace returns to the galaxy but in the darkness something watches and waits.
