Third person POV location planet liberta four months later
The Uther Primarch of the 4th thunder warrior legion, the steel born, looked down at the recruits making good progress through their training. This group was rather different from the other squads they were much more refined and excelled far better then the others. While they were nowhere near the number their Emperor wanted they were making excellent progress Xenos that sought to enslave this world and people will find the legions of thunder in their path. The shipyards had been making ships as the Emperor called for the great crusade. Uther was waiting on the day the thunder warriors were called to be the tip of the spear. He had learned that 1000 men had been undergoing the procedure for them to become thunder warriors. It matters little more warriors would be needed in the wars to come. The Spartan core was only the ones the Emperor had brought with him and they were assisting in training some who may become Spartans. The next was the exo-suits called Javelins so far 1000 were training to pilot them; they were versatile and powerful and they would prove to be a boon to the great crusade.
The men and women who were here would soon be done with their training. The Emperor had assigned a legion to the Empresses. The 2nd and 3rd legions took to their rolls quickly. The first target is to be a world called Tatooine when the army and navy are ready. Uther looked and saw a Mobile suit, a MS-06D Zaku Desert Type. It was far away but he could still see it. Only 36 pilots made up the mobile suit core as of now with two mobile suit carriers in the shipyards. He had been hearing rumors about the thunder legion gaining their own mobile suits operators from their own legions but those were only rumors at best. The one rumor was true and the FX-9900 GX-Bit that was able to be controlled through the mind. Their firepower was nothing to scoff at; together they can be fleet killers.
The wargear that was being made for the imperial guard was focused on increasing their survivability and lethality. He had seen the armor was fully enclosed and quite durable nowhere near the legions equipment but enough for superior protection from blasters and other energy weapons. The Lasguns that were upgraded were a significant improvement over the older models and the Emperor was not even on world right now with several of the legions he was told were going to recover a fleet to boost their own. It matters little his orders were to be here and help train soldiers for the great crusade and he would do that. Uther then remembered the nanosuit commandos or a six squads and a hundred death troopers and thirty X-COM Psionic soldiers were sent to Coruscant with supplies and started to slowly take over the Coruscant underworld and gain the support of the people the all wars are fought in the will after all.
Third person POV The Thunder battle barge location the Katana fleet
Alexios was looking at the katana fleet 200 ships each was being scrubbed down to remove the Hive virus. The problem was slow but managed. A week the virus was going to be gone he was making thousands of droids to operate the ships. They all need updating and repairing thankfully the Thunder had fabricators and replicators. The two hundred ships would indeed be a boost to his fleet but training even with the facilities natural boosts it would take some time to get to the goal. The situation in the mass effect universe was not a problem at the moment the war was over and people were rebuilding. He did have 90,000 navy class androids from Shanxi after a quick trip back to ME for piloting ships back to Liberta, and back to the shipyards for repair and refit after he took them from. The factories on Liberta were maxed out for the war he was preparing for. The store the game system had was useful but cost a lot. He had all the documents for living in this galaxy. Maybe it must have been the system maybe? He was going to do what he did back in mass effect, start buying, selling and investing. He also planned to have a few of his nanosuit commandos and Psionics soldiers start taking control of the Coruscant underworld and start making an army there covertly. Hell even with himself working on the fleet it still took more time to make the ships ready then he'd like but beggars can't be choosers.
" Two Dreadnaught-class heavy cruisers are away; they will return once those two are dropped off at the shipyards". One of the AIs informed him.
" Continue working, we need these ships". Alexios said as he started to walk away he had a lot of work to do.
Third person POV Coruscant underworld
"Thank you". A human male said helping a blue skinned female Twi'lek that was heavily pregnant. The X-com Psionic soldier watched as they took the dead and oversized rats back to their base for an autopsy. The people here were clearly in very bad shape and were looking half dead. He was glad they had medical supplies and alot of MREs and other edible foods.
" HQ this is to strike one request for medical and food aid to sector 1 please". The team leader said through the comms.
" Request approved sending suttles". The AI said. The HUD in his helmet marked the building's or what could be qualified condemned ones. If they could rebuild these the people here would have a decent place to live. The LOKI mechs were clearing out the worst of the areas. The ship the Emperor had brought them all on was the Abysswalker was a ship 450 meters long, 50 in height and 55 wide. The fabricators and replicators were working overtime. HQ was the only building down here with well it was a fully working building and the construction mechs were working on other buildings the power on the ship was lasting for now and it would for quite a while.
The relocation of the more civilized people down here was going well and the non civilized were being taken care of. This place was a nightmare, relocation to liberta was a no go for now.
"Captain Cross central here squads three and five have just neutralized a swarm of Hive rats near you the supplies have been changed to relocation for the civilians". Cross looked at the people.
" Alright all of you have a choice to go with us and have a decent place to stay or stay here with the rats and whatever is down here". Cross said and apparently the idea of a warm place to sleep and food with safety was a very moving thing. It was not a lot of people but it was a start and by the time the Republic and Jedi realized this it would already be too late for them to do anything they would be too deep into the underworld to be removed.
Third person POV location planet liberta eight months 12 days later
The first armed and born liberta imperial guardsman walked through the gates of their training camp. The guards' armor was freshly made and their Lasguns and chainswords were as well. Uther watched as they were 50,000 guardsmen and women ready for war. The next batch of guardsmen would soon be starting training. The fleet was coming along well; the former Katana fleet, now part of the imperial fleet, were still undergoing repairs and retrofitting. Uther looked as the best of the newly recruited guardsmen up front they were the best of the batch.
Uther was looked over to the Emperor and Empresses. They watched the parade as well and the Emperor was pleased with the progress of the guard. The factories were making wargear for the imperial fleet/army and what the Emperor called it HK-50s and 51s the droids would be deployed in mass to supplement the guard but their numbers were slow to build up and they were made not in quantity but quality. Uther saw the Emperor talk with his wives how he Hopes more than 2,000 will be operational in the coming weeks.
The preparations for the liberation of Tatooine were already being made and while not in Hutt space they easily could take the planet and control the shipping lines and draw the Hutts to the well prepared killzone. Once they were focused on Tatooine the Invasion force would attack their target in Hutt space. Jabba's Vault would help increase their wealth.
"You made a Loki mech dispenser"? Empress Amélie asked.
"Had to the factories on Shanxi are making them off the books for the models we used on the citadel so far 146 Loki mech dispensers are complete for the different models of the Loki mechs and the Ymir and Fenris mech models are also on the way". The Emperor said.
" I am also going to have to go to Tuchanka to see Wrex. I want to visit and talk about something, odds are it's good so I'll head there sometime next week". Uther was not exactly pleased with that decision but he didn't speak about that. " The Abysswalker will be arriving a day before I go. I'll pop in to see Wrex pick up the mechs and comeback and I have to check on a few things". '' The Emperor said.
" The katana fleet retrofitting and recovery are moving along well. Soon we'll have the whole fleet here and the navy is taking advantage of the advanced VI's and the few AI's we have are also a benefit". That was true Uther saw how helpful the VIs and AI were in their roles on the ships and in the other categories. He watched as the formations of guardsmen marched with tanks,APCs and other vehicles and in the sky were fighter craft. He only could wait until the entirety of hutt space was brought into a golden age.
" Perhaps you should tell Wrex about this, even a few thousand Krogan would be a boon here". Empress Nova said.
" I'll see what happens".
Third person POV the Abysswalker mass effect universe Tuchanka Urdnot space port
The Abysswalker landed on the newly built space port in the capital Urdnot the restoration was still in full swing the ruined buildings were soon to be a thing of the past as he could see the newly built one's already fully done he also saw a new state of the art hospital with some of the new planetary defense grid that was being built. Figured that was one of the most important things after the turian bomb they managed to disarm and remove.
Alexios looked at the propaganda poster showing Krogan soldiers in armor with the union symbol displayed proudly on their armor with humans, quarians and geth.
Our strength is to protect and defend our kin our Union JOIN TODAY and become guardians of the Union!
Alexios could see how that would truly affect the Krogan; it would make future generations interact more with our races and hopefully make a positive impact on the Krogan as a whole. He was wearing his Nemean Lion MK 1 semi power armor. He saw several heavily armored Krogan walk to him and he saw Urdnot Wreav. His death trooper bodyguards six in total.
" Urdnot Wreav". Alexios said simply as the Krogan approached. The Krogan was on edge it seemed.
" Wrex is waiting and things are quite dangerous and we have to move quickly". Wreav said as he walked Alexios to a heavily armed and armored transport.
" Are things that bad"? Alexios asked.
" You'll see soon enough". Wreav said.
Third person POV Tuchanka clan senate building
[I knew this shit was going to get annoying quickly] Alexios thought as he ducked under the fire of a plasma rifle. Wrex was fighting with a few of the Assassins that were trying to kill him too. He drew his knife and jumped on the nearby Krogan clan chieftain and with his superior Physiology that he had gained through the system he took his knife and jammed his knife between the skull and head plate of the Krogan and pulled the plate off. The Krogan clan members that were attacking froze in fear as they looked at their chief who was in agony. He looked at them and raised his foot over the Krogan head and slammed his foot down on the head ending the chief of Clan Gatatog. The rest of the Gatatog stopped fighting, looking at their leader well what was left anyway.
" If I were you I'd surrender". Alexios said and to his surprise they did.
[Now then two more clan heads between me and Wrex] He thought as he used his Psionics to send the Krogan still around the chief of Clan Strogjaw flying against the wall and none of them would wake up from the impact that killed them. The chief of Clan Strogjaw bellowed in rage and attacked Alexios only for him to grab both of the chief arms and break them like they were nothing; they only stayed on his body due to the armor blood gushing out like a broken hose. The Krogan stumbled back howling in agony only for it to end when Alexios ripped his jaw off and he also ripped off the head plate and kicked the body away from him. He looked around and managed to see Wrex and the other loyal clans were killing the traitor clans. He looked at the last traitor, the Krogan clan chief of Clan Jurdon.
" Auditore"! Biksar Jurdon screamed as he killed a Urdnot warrior he snarled out his name as he charged at the human. Alexios finally having enough of this pathetic bullshit he had much more important things to do then this. So he ran at the charging Krogan and with his speed he was able to reach the Krogan he pulled his arm back and his first hit broke the Krogan's charge and second was aimed at the Krogan's head when it connected the helmet it broke and the third hit that came after completely shattered helmet he then jammed his Fusion Blade into the krogan's skull and his shoulder mounted plasmacaster fired into the skull. Clan Gatatog, Clan Strong Jaw and Jurdon warriors surrendered or were killed. Wrex looked rather happy when roar out in victory.
" Someone get those bodies cleaned up and have forces sent to Clans Gatatog, Strong Jaw and Jurdon to make sure they don't have other plans". Wrex said and looked at Alexios." Alexios follows me, we have to talk".
Nexus
Third person POV Tuchanka clan senate building Wrex's office two hours later
" I asked you here because one of your factories here was compromised and after that shit show down stairs we now know who, also it's about the space colony Initiative while four colonies are planned but a Krogan expeditionary discovered this". Wrex used his omni-tool to show the planet in question was Protheans alright but that far outside the relay network probably the last plan they had but it failed obviously as it was destroyed well most of it. Alexios watched the video and he did notice something else.
" The planet has no planetary rotation? That should not be possible unless-".
" It's artificial whatever did this put enough damage to the planet to stop planetary rotation from happening and I'm no scientist but scans have shown it was a pure energy based weapons more pure the what he have and the dark side of the planet is the most intact but the side with the sun looks like hell even a thresher maw won't survive long their but with our level of survival gear a few hours would be a walk in the park and prefabricated bases equipped as well long term deployment". Wrex then shifted to another image it was of the moon and several areas looked melted with pinpoint accuracy.
" What the hell did that"? Alexios asked out loud and Wrex shrugged his shoulders.
" Samples show the same energy based weapons definitely unknown and fifty thousand years old to so possible whoever did this was just killing the place no reaper signals or evidence they were their but still it represents a great worth to the archaeological and scientific community figured you should be the best to tell to get the ball rolling". Wrex said and Alexios did think this was a good idea but still of all the mass effect lore from his first life this was NOT part of it at all. So he would have to make sure nothing happened here when he was gone.
" Well have to Nexus class space colony start construction here then but that won't be for a while so a science station will have to do I have an old one that was awaiting dismantling but a few weeks it would be retrofitted for this kind of deep space placement with Quantum Entanglement Communicators should work and a guard force union should have that covered". Alexios was concerned though whatever did this was not the reapers but something else entirely but odds are he will find out one way or another.
" Good better than nothing I guess but now we have to talk about the clan leaders you killed". Wrex said and Alexios was starting to get annoyed a bit. " You killed then and as low the clans elders of all three in an hour decided they were willing to submit to your leadership as the three clans are not well liked right now and trust me it won't end well for them even with all the bad idiots that took part are dead but still tempers are running hot". Wrex told him and Krogan didn't handle traitors well or at all.
" Have all three of them head to Chasca in the Maroon Sea. I'll have to call in favors from a few people but they should be able to live there once the ships and colony prefabricated housing and it will be one of our outward colonies so just get them ready". Alexios said and he was now going to have to deal with it. Now he should head back home before his girls skin him alive.
