Natsu walked into the student lounge with Gray close behind him. The scent of coffee welcoming him in as he looked through the group of buzzing students, on the hunt for the specific redhead he needed; no sight of her yet. Natsu stood by the doorway a little longer, closely examining every inch of the large lounge. There were multiple couches and coffee tables, as well as some desks. There was a small kitchenette area with only a microwave, fridge, and coffee makers. He turned left and right and there was still no sign of the person he was looking for.
"Hello boys, how may I assist you?" Natsu froze. I didn't even hear her behind me. He slowly turned around, facing the women behind him. She was around the same height as him, maybe an inch or two taller, her hair was a beautiful scarlet red, fitting considering her last name was Scarlet. Her aura was menacing, but he knew deep down she was one of the nicest people he'd ever met.
"Hey Erza, do you by any chance know a girl with long golden blonde hair and big beautiful brown eyes?" He beamed up at her with a lovestruck grin.
"Natsu, there are over 4000 students at this University, im almost 100% sure that there is going to be multiple girls that look just like the one you described to me."
"Damn," Natsu sighed, disappointed.
"Is there a reason you're looking for this specific girl?" Erza asked, raising an eyebrow at the disappointed pinkette.
"Nope no reason at all, c'mon Gray lets go," Natsu grabbed Grays wrist, quickly leading them outside of the lounge.
"Now hold on a minute you two," Erza grabbed both boys by their collars, bringing them closer to her. Her face only millimeters apart from theirs, "I asked a question and I expect an answer. Why are you looking for the girl Natsu?"
Natsu gulped, looking down at the ground, avoiding the intense gaze of the red head holding him up. She was terrifying, so terrifying in fact that one would say she could kill 100 monsters if they were standing right in front of her.
"This idiot's whipped for a girl he's never even met," Gray answered, knowing too well that Natsu wouldn't have responded himself.
"I did meet her dumbass."
"Drooling over her while she walked past you after your therapy session doesn't count as meeting flame brain. You don't even know her name." This was true. Dr. Macao had refused to give him her name.
"Natsu, do you even know if she goes to this University?" Erza asked, putting both Natsu and Gray back down on the floor.
"I-," Shit, I really know nothing about her, "I actually have no clue. I don't know anything about her besides the fact that her hair shines as bright as the sun, and how her big brown eyes look like a forest in the fall and-"
"Okay Romeo we get it," Gray interrupted Natsu, oh so rudely.
"So, you know nothing about her, besides her physical description?" The red head gave Natsu a questioning look.
"Yep, something about a hippo or something I don't know,' Natsu shrugged.
"HIPPA you pyro."
"That's exactly what I just said snow-princess," Natsu said, looking back at Gray as he rolled his eyes.
"So then how exactly do you expect to find her?" Erza asked.
"I dunno, I was hoping you'd help me find her, but now I don't even know if she goes to this school."
"Do you know when you'll see her again?"
"Maybe next Tuesday 'cuz that's my next appointment. Ima try and go earlier so I can see her before she leaves."
"That works. Speaking of, how did your first therapy session go?" Erza asked, concern lacing her motherly tone as she looked at Natsu, eyes softening. After she had heard what happened, both her and Master Makarov encouraged him to go see a therapist. She was worried about him, who wouldn't, He never let anyone see or even know how he's doing. He always fakes a smile in hopes of no-one noticing, but of course his big sister Erza always knows.
"Besides seeing an absolute angel, it went well. Doc's real nice and he said he'd help me with my fire thing, so maybe I can focus on a career in pyrotechnics."
"That sounds great, I'm glad to hear. What about your family? Have you gone to see them?"
"Uh, well, I actually haven't gone to seen them since I was released from the hospital, I kinda just came straight here," Natsu said hesitantly, he looked down at the ground, avoiding Erza's disappointed look.
"Natsu-,"
"Before you yell at me, I was actually plannin' on going this weekend."
"Good, ill leave you to it then. Have a nice weekend you guys ill see you Monday, have fun Natsu," Erza gave Natsu a warm smile and walked out of the lounge, leaving the two boys alone. They waved goodbye and continued on with their day, Gray branched out to go to the girls dormatoriess to see his girlfriend, Juvia, while Natsu went back to his dorm daydreaming about his—hopefully—future girlfriend. He had to get ready for this weekend, both physically and mentally. Was he prepared? Not at all, but hopefully all goes well...
