Max,Sharkboy and Lavagirl stared down at the little girl as Max got up from his seat.
"You want to go with them?,asked Max in confusion.
Lily nodded yes in response to what her father just said. Lily stared up at Max ,defiant.
"If I must." ,she said.
"She is right, she must go.",agreed Sharkboy.
Max turned around to look at Sharkboy.
"She HAS to go."emphasized Lavagirl.
Max turned back around to look at Lily
"You better go with them.",said Max to Lily.
Lily stood silently. She began to nod. By moving forward, Lily signaled to Sharkboy and Lavagirl that she will be leaving with them and beginning her journey facing what is ahead.
