ACP sir looked at him for a moment and then asked him calmly as: Kya socha hai tum ny, btao…?
Abhijeet looked at him hesitantly with: Iss k iss khof ko khof sy hi khatam kerna… (And receiving a calm-questioning look in reply, Abhijeet in detail shared his idea with his father, really looking for some guidance now, competing as…) Main ny Sunil ko bhi halka sa btaya tha iss barey mein, details nahin share ki thien kyun k main khud sure nahin hoon bilkul…
And he stopped though still looking at his father in question, looking for some help now while…
ACP sir asked him in calm tone as: Aakhri baar kb tumhary uthaye kisi step sy tumhary bhai ko koe nuqsan pohancha tha Abhijeet…? (Abhijeet looked at him in real confusion where ACP sir added in same calm tone as…) Chalo aakhri baar ka chhoro, pehli baar ka btta doo… (Abhijeet went quiet finally understanding what ACP sir was trying to say who continued as…) Nahin aata na kuchh zehen mein…? Mairy bhi nahin aata… (Abhijeet gave him a very faint smile in silence where ACP sir gave an assuring pressure on his shoulder with…) Zada mtt socho baita bl k jo socha hai, uss per ammal kro… (Abhijeet looked at his father like was still looking for some assurance where ACP sir nodded re-assuredly while giving a soft pat on his cheek with…) Mujhy tum per pura vishvas hai Abhijeet… (Abhijeet inhaled deeply feeling a new kind of confidence and courage in himself while listening to his father adding softly as…) Tum bhi khud per vishvas kro, hmm…?

Abhijeet nodded understandably with: Jee sir… (And after caringly shifting Daya's head from his lap, Abhijeet looked towards ACP sir in care-filled smile with…) Sir Daya ab raat mein uthy ga, saat aath bjjy tk, tou aap yahan aaram sy ruuk sakty hain jb tk aap ka mnn kry…
ACP sir just hummed without looking at him after getting caught, deepening his elder son's smile who quietly stood up and soon left the two alone, taking Sachin's letter with himself too…
Where grabbing the sling that was placed beside Daya, ACP sir had carefully made Daya wear it again caringly and then lovingly spreading hand on his head, he placed a soft kiss on his forehead…
Securing his left hand in his own again…
ACP sir while softly weaving in Daya's head, said in silent smile as: Bhae main soch raha hoon k tumhary bhai k zariye tumhien pyar aur ashirwad tou bhijva dia hai lekin ab aaj jb moqqa hai tou kuchh dair apny baity k sath baith k thori si baatien hi ker lun aur tumhien achhy sy daikh bhi lun… (Added in a little lost tone as…) Phir dobara ptta nahin kb moqqa milly… (And gulping down a moist breath, he looked towards his younger son in pain-filled-silence as…) Tumhien ptta hai kuchh bewakoof larky k main tumhien kitna yaad kerta hoon, haan…? Tumhari baatien, tumhari shirartien, tumhari mukurahat, sb, sb ko kitna miss kerta hoon main…? And he nodded to himself while placing a soft kiss on Daya's hand and that tension and fear of his heart, slowly took him to the time where…
DUO's Home…
After CID family had successfully managed to bring Daya home in secrecy, Sunil initially started treating him for his psychotic episodes, violent behavior and mood swings, trying his best to keep him calm sidewise observing his body language, listening to things he used to say when aggressive or hallucinating and his response when someone from the family try to communicate with him, taking notes too, to figure out where he was mentally standing so that could figure out the treatment accordingly…
In the early days at home, Daya was getting hallucinations and seizures frequently, hence Sunil mostly kept him under the effects of sedatives, given to him through edibles… And when Daya was awake, at times it get quite difficult to control him, who was having nothing but hate, anger and aggression towards the visitors of his room and liked to spend most of his time when awake either cuddled in the corner of the room or hiding in the bathroom while sitting next to the bathroom door so that no-one could open the door or come inside…
And because of having every reason to worry that Daya could harm himself when in the bathroom, like could bang his head against the brick wall or taking off the iron water-tap could use it to hurt himself, or any other such violent-insane thing was expected from him at the moment, therefore he was very strictly communicated through Abhijeet that if he had found even a scratch on his body after his return from the bathroom, his fingerprint would get removed from the bathroom door and he would have nowhere to hide, and Daya took that warning quite seriously because of not wanting to lose the only place where he could feel safe…
Lounge…
It was the early night of the ninth day since they had brought Daya home, and ACP sir, Dr. Salunkhy, Abhijeet and Sunil could be seen sitting in the lounge of DUO's home, gathered there to discuss about Daya's further treatment and now all three pair of eyes were looking towards the person who had requested them to be there and…

Abhijeet moved his head down in an embarrass smile while silently feeling relieved too for not going with the first idea came in his mind about the menu of his lunch and instead having a proper lunch… Where giving a soft pat on his back, ACP sir left towards the kitchen and Abhijeet didn't dare to offer his help for whatever he was headed to-do in the kitchen but kept sitting there, concentrating on his lunch…
Soon ACP sir returned from the kitchen grabbing too mugs of hot coffee and placing one mug in front of his elder kid, pulling the chair, he too sat with him on the table and being intelligent enough of knowing when to say what…
