Daya couldn't tell how much time had passed since one of Shastri's men had taken out the untouched breakfast tray from his room, telling him that the next day had already started and tonight Abhijeet was returning from his mission which was making Daya both anxious and equally helpless, fearing what was waiting for his brother and also knowing that he could do nothing to prevent it…
When Daya's scared-restless thoughts interrupted with the room's door opened and Daya's facial expressions stiffened seeing Raka entering in the room now while…
Raka asked him plainly as: Tum ny subah nashty ki tray yunhi wapis bhijwa di thi kya…? (And seeing Daya had just turned his face away without replying him anything, Raka signaled the man who was still standing in the room door and nodding to him, he moved forward and placing a meal tray on Daya's bed, he left the room the same minute when noticing Daya didn't budge after receiving that silent message, Raka ordered him as…) Lunch ker lo Daya… (And receiving only silence from the other side, Raka added little teasingly as…) Ker lo, pehly hi tumhary karen woh pyary bchchy subah sy bhooky baithy hain… (Daya instantly looked towards him in shock-filled-pain when Raka chuckled, amused on his own joke while telling him as…) Mazaq ker raha tha tum sy… (And turning his attention towards the TV placed there in the corner of the room to-be used as a monitor in order to at-times show Daya the live streaming of the basement room in which the hostage family was kept in, Raka switched in on and set the live streaming of that basement room where the kids could be seen sitting in the cuddle of their mother while few utensils, having some remains of the eaten food, were placed near them… When noticing Daya had seen what he wanted him to see, Raka switching off the TV, turned his attention towards Daya again with…) Breakfast k samey main yahan tha nahin iss liye mnnmani ker li tum ny apni, lunch py mnnmani kerny ka socha bhi tou iss baar mazaq nahin kron ga main… (And Raka turned towards the room door with…) Ager tum chahty ho k inn ki dopahar unhien khali brrtano ko daikhty hoye na guzry tou mairy wapis aany py tumhari tray khali milni chahiye mujhy…
And he completely left the room, closing the room door behind where Daya rashly wiped off the silent tear slipped from his eye, evident of his helplessness, misery and anger…
Daya kept sitting there like that for around a minute to somehow compose himself but finding himself failing in his efforts, Daya glancing at the room door, turned his hurting-blurry gaze towards the meal tray, knowing well that no matter how much he wanted to throw it away or just assume that it wasn't present there, he could do neither…
Hence gulping down a moist breath, Daya slowly pulled the tray towards himself with tears again welling up in his eyes, but he knew he had no choice because if he did not obey what he was asked to-do, then those evils would definitely starve those kids and their mother at-least till dinner and it could go even further than that too…
On one side, Daya's worry and scare for his brother was not letting him feel any desire to eat or talk or do anything and on the other side, the scared-crying faces of those three innocent people present there only to keep him in their control was forcing him to-do what he was asked to-do and hence Daya while again and again wiping off the salty drops silently slipping down from his eyes, somehow managed to force that food down into his stomach and then he just pushed the now empty tray away, crying silently while burying his face in his both palms now…
Nearly half an hour later Raka again entered in the room to find Daya quietly sitting there cuddling himself while resting his forehead on his knees now… Noticing the empty tray, he signaled his man who moved forward to grab it where…
Raka praised Daya mockingly as: Good… (Daya jerking out from his world of anguish-and-helplessness, turned his gaze towards him, sidewise noticing the man leaving the room with the tray and closing the room door on his back while Raka added in smirk smile as…) Mujhy ptta tha tum maira kaha nahin taalo gy…
Daya looked at him in pain-filled-anger and just turned his face away where Raka really enjoying the scenario, chuckled amusingly and turned to leave the room when…
Daya asked him in really quiet tone as: Woh log…?
Raka getting the query, stopped in his track and arrogantly switched on the TV, resulted Daya now turned his gaze towards the TV screen to soon see a man entering in that room with their meal, making Daya unknowingly exhaled a silent-relaxed sigh when…
Raka's teasing voice reached his ears as: Wasey iss samey tumhien inn ki nahin bl k Abhijeet ki chinta kerni chahiye… (Daya turned his stiff gaze towards him to find Raka already looking towards him, who told him in smirk smile as…) Subah main Heera ko hi uss ka inaam pohanchany ka intezam kerny gaya tha aur abhi yahan aany sy panch minute pehly hi call aai hai mujhy k uss ka inaam uss k account mein pohanch gaya hai… (Daya just gulped down a deep breath, trying to look composed where Raka continued in same smirking-teasing tone as…) Tum bhi soch rahy ho gy na k hum ny Ranga aur tumhary pyary Satya ki tarhan, Heera ka bhi mun kyun nahin bnd ker dia… (Nodded in crook smile as…) Tou jawab yeh hai sir jee k filhal uss ka zinda rehna hi humary faidy mein hai… Shastri sir chahty hain k Heera khud ja ker bank sy woh paisy nikaly… (Smirked at him cleverly with…) Humary Shastri sir tumhari CID team ki mddad kerna chahty hain… (Looked deep in his eyes while stressing as…) Abhijeet k ghaddar ko pakerny mein… (Asked him in crook smile as…) Kya hua, nahin samjhy…? And Daya kept sitting there, now attaching his back with the bed's foot-side, praying for his brother's wellbeing and long life, feeling quite scared internally knowing an attack was going to happen on his Abhi and even though Daya knew who would attack him, where, when, how, everything, yet he could do nothing to stop it or to inform his brother, and that helplessness-filled-frustration silently slipped down in the form of a salty drop from the corner of his eye…
