When Lilamon agreed to help the kids, she agreed to take them to the stone crest. However, Machinedramon was following after them. He attempted to destroy the mountain if he had to. The kids attempted to slow him down, and it did allow the kids the chance to think back to happy and great moments with their family. After giving Machinedramon the slip once again, the children continued up the mountain. They managed to make it to the summit and there lied a door that might contain the stone crest.

The Great Berserk Beast
Susan has always been rather smart for her age. She might only be in kindergarten, but she is rather smart. Now if only she can think of a way to have her friends and father come back. At the moment, all she can do is stare out a window and hope.
"Susan?" Tentomon said. "Are you ready? Your mother is taking you to your grandparents. They are just as worried and would like some comfort from their beloved granddaughter."
"Tentomon, I should have gone with them. I'm smarter than any of them, not to be boastful." Susan said.
"You are smart, but smart enough to know there isn't much you can do without a powerful digimon against the Dark Masters." Tentomon said. "Take it from someone who had face them. Yikes."
"But it's my dad." Susan said.
"And he'll make sure all the adults are safe." Tentomon said. "He's smart as well as kindhearted. Everything is going to be fine. I just know it." He even gave Susan a hug to comfort her. Tentomon just knows it. The others will be back one day.
...
The Digital World
Upon arriving at the summit of the mountain, Lilamon finds a strange door. Behind that door could be what they're all looking for.
"Are you sure the stone could be just behind this door?" Musuko said as this was a crucial moment.
"I am." Lilamon said as she worked on getting it open. "The stone is right on the other side, but there is something I should warn you about. It might be on the other side, but it will not be easy to obtain."
"Isn't that why you are here?" Mason said. "Aren't you suppose to be the one that is suppose to open if for us?"
"It's not that simple, now stay back. Something is going to come out of it." Lilamon said. They all didn't like the sound of that. All of them moved back and away from the door. When Lilamon pressed down on two switches, the door began to unlock. However, the sounds of the unlocking mechanism stirred something else on the other side. Lilamon hurried away from the door as it opened up.
"What's suppose to happen?" Koji questioned.
"I think we're about to find out." Gatomon said. The door opened up, but that was when something emerged out through the door. It was like some sort of mechanical dragon head, and it started to go on a rampage. It relied on instinct and just started attacking everything with everyone trying to keep themselves safe and protected.
"What is that digimon?! I've never seen anything like that before!" Musuko said as they were all astonished and surprised to see something like that come out of the mountain.
"That there is Breakdramon." Lilamon claimed. "Breakdramon is a powerful and dangerous digimon. It is said that he likes to destroy everything in its way."
"What's something like that doing in the mountain?" Natalie said.
"When the treasure, as you came to call the stone crest, was placed inside the mountain, Breakdramon was placed in there as well." Lilamon claimed. "Because of his destructive behavior, the ones who placed the stone in there believed that Breakdramon would be the perfect defense for those who wished to steal it."
"But then where do you fit into all of this? I thought you were a guardian?" Biyomon questioned.
"Who cares? We need to get that big guy out of the way so that we can get the stone crest, and we have to do it before Machinedramon gets here." Musuko said.
"Musuko, look at the door." Veemon said. "It looks like there's a small opening between the door and Breakdramon. Maybe the smallest of us can slip through and get the stone while the rest of us deal with Breakdramon."
"Not a bad idea, Veemon." Musuko said as it might just work. As for Breakdramon, it continued its rampage with it running its drill against the ground until an attack came and blasted Breakdramon right in the head. It looked up and spotted UlforceVeedramon and Garudamon up there.
"Well, we got his attention. Now what?" Natalie questioned.
"We fight like always!" Musuko called.
"I got this!" UlforceVeedramon claimed as he flew straight down and smashed into the head of Breakdramon. He tried to hold Breakdramon down and give the others the chance they need. Seraphimon was right over them and carried Mason, Koji, and their digimon.
"Here we go. Good luck and get that stone." Seraphimon said. He dropped them down and they all slid down Breakdramon's back and were able to make it through the door.
"They're in! Now all we have to do is keep Breakdramon occupied until the others get back with the stone." Musuko said.
"None of that is really necessary." Lilamon said.
"Don't worry. We've got this." Musuko said as he wasn't really listening to her.
...
Inside
"Wow. What is all this?" Koji said as they were examining a large metal box with drills on it.
"Don't touch anything. This must be the rest of Breakdramon's body. The last thing we need is for him to go on a rampage in here." Gatomon said. "We need to find the stone and then get out."
"Over here!" Palmon called as she found another cave. "It's got to be down there."
"Great. Let's get going." Mason said as all of them hurried for the cave. Once they made it inside, they hurried down to the other end and could see something up ahead. That's got to be it.
"We found it!" Palmon said as they found a purple stone that had the crest of knowledge on it.
"We really found it! We can use this to get our parents back!" Koji said as they were happy about that. They hurried over to grab the stone, but that was when the ground burst in front of them and knocked them all back as they could see Machinedramon emerging out of the ground.
"Machinedramon!" They all called as they didn't expect to see him like this.
"Thanks for the stone, and for the idea of going underground to get the stone. Now, I think I'll let Breakdramon finish you all off." Machinedramon claimed.
"Giga Cannon!"
...
Outside
The blast from Machinedramon erupted right out of the mountain. The others spotted it and knew that it had to be trouble. The whole summit was blasted off and it caused Breakdramon to fully emerge out of the mountain.
"What happened?!" Musuko questioned.
"That blast came from inside the mountain!" Natalie said as they were all now worried on what might have happened to the others.
"I'm afraid we have bigger problems." Lilamon said. "Now there's nothing preventing Breakdramon from rampaging everywhere!" She was right. Breakdramon was now free. Whatever was holding him down was broken. Breakdramon was on the move now and was starting to make its way down the mountain. At the speed and destruction that digimon was going and causing, it's not going to take Breakdramon very long to reach the village.
"Breakdramon's heading for the village!" UlforceVeedramon said.
"He'll destroy everything unless we stop him." Garudamon said. None of them liked how this was unfolding.
"Guys!" All of them looked and saw Koji and Mason coming back.
"What happened in there?!" Natalie said.
"It was Machinedramon. He surprised us by making his way underground." Mason said.
"He took the stone." Koji said.
"What?! We've got to go after him!" Musuko said as he was going to do just that.
"Musuko, there's no time!" Benson said as he stopped Musuko from running off. "We've got to do something to stop Breakdramon before Breakdramon destroys everything!"
"Let's get in on this, Palmon!" Gatomon said as they both went to join the fight.
"Palmon digivolve to...Togemon!"
"Togemon digivolve to...Lillymon!"
"Gatomon digivolve to...Angewomon!"
Once the two of them digivolved, all five of them flew after Breakdramon to stop him before he reaches the village and destroys everything. They all dived straight at him, but Breakdramon stopped them by shooting it's drills right at each of them. Each of them got hit by a drill and were knocked away.
"That Breakdramon is incredibly powerful. No wonder they placed such a beast to watch over the stone." Natalie said. "That thing is berserk. We've got to figure something out before it's too late."
"Wait. Where's Lilamon?" Benson questioned. They looked around and saw she was gone.
"There she is!" Koji said. They all looked and saw that Lilamon was flying after Breakdramon. "What's she doing? She can't stop that thing alone."
"She must have a plan. Let's check it out." Musuko said as they need to see what this is all about. Lilamon flew as fast as she could. She had to get to Breakdramon before it was too late. Breakdramon did spot her and fired it's drills at her, but she was able to avoid each one that was thrown at her.
"Enough is enough!" Lilamon said as she flew around, but something was sprinkling off her and into the air. It looked like she was producing some sort of pollen. The pollen was sprinkling all around Breakdramon, and Breakdramon was starting to appear to be sleepy. "That's it. Just go to sleep. Sleepy time now." She actually managed to sooth the savage beast as Breakdramon was beginning to fall asleep and fell asleep just before hitting the village. "That's more like it. I'm sorry we disturbed you earlier."
"Did you all see that?!" Musuko said as each of the digimon carried the children to have a look at that. "What did she do?"
"It looked like she produce some sort of pollen that caused Breakdramon to fall asleep." Benson said.
"That must be why Lilamon is the guardian. Her pollen must be the only thing that puts Breakdramon to sleep and out of commission." Natalie said. "Without her pollen, it would have been tough for anyone to get around Breakdramon."
"Machinedramon didn't have much problem, and now he got the stone." Mason said with him upset about that.
...
The Dark Masters
Machinedramon made it back to the Dark Masters floating base. When he did, he opened up his mouth and let the stone rolled out to Piedmon. He grabbed it into his hands and marveled at it.
"Magnificent. That's three for us." Piedmon claimed. "You've done well in this act, Machinedramon."
"It seems everyone is doing well, but I think it's my time." Apparently, there was someone else there.
"We'll, I do admit that I like your style, and you are quite powerful. I do appreciate you offering to help, but are you sure?" Piedmon questioned.
"Trust me. I'll make sure you get those last set of stones." Who is this mysterious being that's offering to help the Dark Masters?

The Digital World
The kids may have failed in getting the stone, but at least they prevented Lilamon's village from being destroyed.
"I greatly appreciate you staying to help fix the village, but I also feel bad." Lilamon said. "I'm sorry you didn't get the stone. It could have helped you get your parents back."
"Stopping Breakdramon from destroying this place was the right decision." Patamon said.
"What's going to happen to Breakdramon now?" Koji asked.
"Don't worry about him. We'll make sure he won't be a bother." Lilamon said. "I do sincerely hope you rescue your parents. You clearly love each one of them, and as long as you keep their memories alive, they will give you the strength and maybe even wisdom to save them."
"Thank you, but we're not beaten yet." Musuko said as he wasn't giving up. "There are still five stones out there. We're not beaten yet, but those Dark Masters will be." He claimed as he hasn't given up just yet. The memories they talked about is just wanting him to save them more. "I know we will."
...
In the next adventure, the kids find themselves back at the water. The next stone lies under the sea, but how can they obtain it? Especially when a new enemy is after them.
