Last time, the kids had to prove themselves after Splashmon strongly argued against the children, and didn't truly believe in them. Then, Puppetmon attacked while Luradamon went for the stone. Koji confronted her, but Luradamon had a devious plan. ElDradimon began to fall right off the mountain, and Koji chose to save him while Luradamon stole the stone. Koji inspired the others to help ElDradimon, even restored Splashmon's faith, and managed to save him. Now, there is only one stone left.

Volcanic Action
The race was on now. There is only one stone left to get. The Dark Masters have five, and the children only have two. Even if the last one is found, they'll still have to figure out how to get the others away from their enemies.
"Now what? The last stone is the one of courage." Koji said. "What are we going to do once we find it?"
"We take it." Musuko said.
"But what about after? How are we going to save our parents and get the other stones from the Dark Masters once the last stone is found?" Natalie questioned.
"I don't know. All I do know is that we have to find it." Musuko said. "We'll still have our stones, and they'll come for us. We can use that to get our parents back and the other stones."
"We'll get our parents back, but we can't let the Dark Masters get the stones either." Benson said. "We have to get the last stone." Wherever that last stone is, it could be the key to everything now. The kids have to get it.
...
The Dark Masters
"We managed to get five stones while those children only have two." Piedmon said as he basked in what he and his comrades had. "Only one remains now."
"But we need to get the other two back from those brats." MetalSeadramon claimed.
"We should have just destroyed them when we had the chance." Machinedramon claimed.
"Are you sure you're just not upset that Luradamon, the newbie, did better than the rest of you lately?" Piedmon mocked.
"Whatever! Let's just go get the last one and be done with this." Puppetmon claimed.
"Yes, and I will take care of this one personally." Piedmon said as he stepped forward to take action himself. However, this provided the perfect opportunity for Luradamon.

The Adults
the situation was looking grave for them as well. Once the last stone is found, the Dark Masters might not have much need to keep them around anymore. Izzy is working on how they can get out of this, but even his tenuous intellect can't figure anything out.
"Nothing. Everything I come up with, we'll either be captured or destroyed." Izzy claimed. "I have to keep trying to come up with something." He kept working, but Tai could see that Izzy was overworking.
"Izzy..." Tai said as he placed his hand on his shoulder. "We need to talk about what we're going to do."
"About what?" Izzy said. "Tai, there isn't much we can do at the moment."
"There's only one stone left. Even if the kids get it, I'm worried they might trade the ones they do have for us." Tai said. "You know as well as I do that we can't let the Dark Masters get the stones."
"I know, but how can we stop them?" Izzy questioned.
"There might be one way, but we need to talk to the others about this." Tai said. He sounded rather serious, like he is about to use a last resort. What could Tai be thinking to prevent the Dark Masters to get the stones?

The Children
The children arrived at their next destination. They came out of hyperspace and found themselves at a forest with another large mountain.
"Oh man. Don't tell me the last stone is on another mountain." Mason complained.
"That isn't any mountain. That's a volcano." Gatomon clarified.
"A volcano? A real volcano?" Musuko said as they never saw one before.
"The last stone could be in there? How are we going to find it in a volcano? That seems rather dangerous." Koji said.
"I see something that's even more dangerous." Veemon said as he spotted something on the volcano. They all looked and saw Piedmon was there himself this time as he was making his way up the volcano.
"Piedmon!" Musuko said as there was greater anger towards him since he's the leader of the Dark Masters.
"He's going after the last stone like the volcano isn't a problem!" Palmon said.
"Not if we have anything to say about it." Veemon said. "Right, Musuko?"
"Right. You guys go find the last stone. I'll stop Piedmon." Musuko said.
"Are you sure? He's the strongest of the Dark Masters." Benson said.
"We'll be fine. Let's take him down, Veemon." Musuko claimed.
"Yeah! Let's get that clown!" Veemon claimed. Plus, Musuko wants to really beat this clown for all that he's done. Once he settled on that, he reached for his digivice and was ready for action.
"Veemon warp digivolve to...UlforceVeedramon!"
Once Veemon digivolved, he and Musuko flew straight down to Piedmon to face him. Piedmon made his way up the volcano, but he stopped when he saw the two of them come down and stopped him.
"Not another step!" Musuko said.
"You sound rather tough for such a small thing." Piedmon said. "I know I look like it, but I'm afraid I can't partake in your birthday party."
"You're a freak." Musuko said.
"And we are tough, tougher than you." UlforceVeedramon claimed. He pulled out his sword and charged right at Piedmon. However, Piedmon held up his own sword and was able to block his attack
"What was that you were saying about being tough?" Piedmon teased. UlforceVeedramon kept the attacks going, but Piedmon was blocking every attack thrown at him. Piedmon was able to match every attack thrown at him, but UlforceVeedramon did manage to score a powerful kick that him slide down the volcano.
"Yeah! You got him!" Musuko cheered as that was what it seemed. However, the dust cleared away and showed he was still standing and didn't even looked hurt.
"That almost tickled. However, thank you getting this little kink I was feeling out of me." Piedmon said.
"Did he even feel that?!" Musuko said.
"He isn't the leader of the Dark Masters for nothing." UlforceVeedramon said. This isn't going to be easy, but is it ever easy for these kids? Meanwhile, the other kids went on to the top of the volcano and tried looking for the stone crest of courage.
"Anyone see anything?" Mason questioned.
"I doubt it would be out in the open in a place like this." Natalie said. As they all searched around, they could hear the fight go on with Koji getting worried about Musuko down there.
"It will be okay, Koji. Musuko is one tough kid." Benson said. The best way we can help now is to find that stone and make sure Piedmon doesn't."
"You're right." Koji said as they kept searching.
"There really isn't that many places for the stone to be." Gatomon claimed. "The only place it could really be hiding is..." she looked towards the crater of the volcano for the inside is the only place it can be at.
"What?! You mean we have to climb in there?!" Mason said as that sounded really dangerous, but they might not have a choice. As for Musuko, he and UlforceVeedramon kept fighting against Piedmon. UlforceVeedramon kept trying to fight as hard as he could, but Piedmon appeared to be too strong for him.
"Are we done yet?" Piedmon said.
"Not even close!" UlforceVeedramon claimed as he flew up in the air.
"Ray of Victory!" UlforceVeedramon unleashed his attack, but Piedmon didn't even flinch. All he did was held out his hands and formed a special barrier that reflected his attack.
"No way!" Musuko called. The attack flew back at UlforceVeedramon and blasted him right out of the sky. "UlforceVeedramon!" Musuko called as his partner crashed against the ground.
"If that's your best trick, no wonder you fell flat on your face." Piedmon claimed.
"I'm okay..." UlforceVeedramon said as he got back up.
"It's not nice to lie to children." Piedmon claimed. "Besides, you won't be after this."
"Trump Sword!" He took his swords and threw them right at UlforceVeedramon. It looked like they were going to hit, but UlforceVeedramon surprised him. He grabbed the swords and threw them back at Piedmon. Piedmon jumped right over them, but UlforceVeedramon closed the distance between them and landed a strike that knocked Piedmon to the ground.
"I still have a few tricks." UlforceVeedramon claimed.
"Yeah! That was awesome!" Musuko said.
"Thanks, but don't try it, knowing how you can be." UlforceVeedramon told. As this was going on, the kids dared to move closer to the crater.
"Careful. Don't get too close to the edge." Gatomon said as the digimon helped keeping them safe, but they could still see lava down there.
"No way. It's too dangerous to go down there." Natalie said. "One wrong move down there and we're goners."
"But how are we going to get the stone down there?" Benson questioned.
"You can't, but I can!" They all looked up and saw Luradamon. She dived down and it was like she wasn't afraid of the volcano at all.
"Oh no! She's going to get it first!" Patamon claimed. Luradamon stopped just short of the lava. "Let's see now..." She looked around for where the stone could be and spotted it in almost no time. The stone crest of courage sitting on a pillar in the middle of lava.
"Simple yet effective placing it right in a volcano, but it's not enough to stop the likes of me." Luradamon said. She flew right over and took it easily. "They surely did a lousy job of hiding these stones." Once she had it, she flew straight out of the volcano and landed down.
"Hold it right there!" Benson called. All four of the kids and their digimon were ready to fight her.
"You're not leaving with that stone." Natalie said.
"And what good would stopping me do? Even if you do manage to take this from me, you'll only have three stones." Luradamon claimed.
"It's better than you and the Dark Masters having them." Mason claimed.
"But what if I told you that you could have all eight, and get your beloved parents back." Luradamon offered. An offer they almost couldn't believe. Is she really saying she'll help get their parents back, and keep the Dark Masters from getting all the stones? Better question, can Luradamon even be trusted?
...
Next time, Luradamon has turned against the Dark Masters. She managed to get the stones they had. However, what does she have planned for the children?
