Nathan was sleeping when he laid his hand on the right side of his bed but was greeted with cold empty sheets he opened his eyes rubbing them sleepily. He stretched his arms thinking where did the beautiful brunette that fell asleep on his chest went ?

where did she go ? I was hoping to wake up next to her.

Nathan got up from his bed and threw a T-Shirt on. He got out of his room and was greeted by an angelic voice. a voice that belonged to the girl that drove him crazy .. he walked towards their open plan kitchen across from his room. Haley was standing at the oven making pancakes, Her back facing him, he wrapped his arms around her waist. She jumped in surprise

" morning " he whispered softly " you scared me " she giggled" Im sorry baby " he said softly kissing her neck " I forgive you plus i made you pancakes, as a thank you for yesterday " She smiled turning around to face him, planting a kiss on his lips " I told you hales no need to thank me. I enjoyed yesterday In fact i want all my dates to be with you and only you. Because you see haley James Im crazy in love with you " He said softly while looking into her beautiful adorable dark brown eyes that were filled with love and Joy he lowered his head down and captured her lips kissing her softly, she kissed him back wrapping her arms around his neck. He pulled her closer to him as he moved his hand down till he reached her ass and pinched it, she giggled against his lips . When air becomes an issue they pulled away still wrapped around each other.

" your going to charlotte today right? " haley asked him as he nodded in response " i know your playing against Jack today so i was thinking if i could drive down to charlotte with you " she took his hand and lead them towards their couch " of course hales i really wanted you to be there " He smiled at her as she bit her lower lip nervously. He noticed how nervous she looked, Nathan took Haleys hand in his looking at her he asked her what's wrong. " My brothers and I always go to each of my brothers' games to show our support as siblings, and since your playing against Jack today i would have to be there anyway but i want you to remember that i love you so much and i support you " .

" hales your rambling whats wrong? " he chuckled at her rambling. Haley always rambles when she's nervous about something. And Nathan always thinks it's adorable when she does it .

" my brothers have these barbecues whenever one of them has a game and since Ians wife is visiting her family In Florida they're going to have it at his house. and I wanna tell them about us . And Im sorry that i don't want any of our friends to know yet because I know they're going to give us a hard time and i wanna tell my brothers first- " Nathan interrupted her by kissing her " stop rambling hales I would be happy to meet your brothers and tell them how happy you make me and how much I love you and how i would do anything for you " he assured her while she wrapped an arm around his neck bringing her face to his shoulder hugging him tightly to her, his arms found their way around her waist. He kissed the top of her head. She whispered an I love you in his ears that made his lips form into a smile.

Nathan was half way there when he realized how quiet haley has been. She always fought with him about how she wanted to choose the next song or what snacks they needed on a road trip. He turned his head to look at her and noticed she was biting her lower lip, her legs bouncing up and down. He laid his hand on her thigh feeling her clam down he asked her what's wrong she assured him by telling him it's nothing but he didn't buy it .

" i can know when something is bothering you haley Just tell me whats wrong please " He told her softly hoping to soften her up so she would cave and tell him .

" Im scared my brothers will hurt you " She muttered while Nathan chuckled " what? They're six athletic men! And your just one! you forgot that three of them play football and one of them is now a cop! two of them also play basketball while the other one plays baseball! " She said as she grabbed his hand that was on her thigh and squeezed it " I don't really care hales. All I know is that i will make sure that they know how much i love you " He told her softly while turning his head to look at her and smiled when he saw how her eyes were filled with love for him. She smiled back at him which made his heart skip a beat, she kissed his cheek and whispered a thank you in his ears, he smiled in response.

They arrived at their hotel Nathan was carrying their bags when they arrived at the reception and got their keycard and went upstairs. Haley opened the door to their hotel room and gasped at the sight. Nathan had booked them a suite, with a bottle of champagne in a bucket on the table next to it was a vase of purple flowers which Nathan knew were Haleys favorite. She Turned around to look at him and saw how his ocean blue eyes were filled with so much adoration and love for her. She ran towards him and threw her arms around him. She peppered kissed him till she found his lips and captured it with hers . Her legs found their way around his waist, Nathan walked them towards the bed and laid her down. He kissed her neck till he reached her ears and whispered " I love you hales and I'm going to prove it to everybody and I will never hurt you or do anything to cause you tears " He continued leaving kisses on her face till he reached her lips, she tugged on the hem of his shirt telling him that she wanted it off. He pulled away from their kiss and looked into her adorable dark brown eyes that were now filled with love and lust and desire for him . " are you sure hales? " he asked her in concern, he didn't want to do anything that might make her uncomfortable. She nodded as he took his shirt off and lowered his head and kissed her lips again .

" I love you so much Nathan. This was perfect" Haley said softly while she drew circles on his bare chest " I love you too baby " he kissed the top of her head while his arms were wrapped around her naked back . Nathan grunted when he saw the clock " gotta go i have practice, but I dont wanna leave you " he pouted while haley laughed and kissed his pout away " how about you go to your practice and when its game time i will meet you there? And give you a good luck kiss " She informed him " deal " he smiled and kissed her .

" but remember I will be there with my brothers so I'll meet you before the game starts and i will be sitting at the Knick's Bleachers but deep down i will be cheering for you "

" promise? " she gave him a pinky promise in response while smiling at him .

Nathan left to go to practice an hour earlier while haley got ready for the game tonight when she felt something buzzing on the bed. She got out of the bathroom and walked towards the bed and grabbed her phone to see the name Matt and a photo of her holding a football next to her was a tall much larger man giving her a side hug lit up her screen .

" Baby James finally you answered. I've been calling you , how are you? "

" Im great Mattie. How are you? Are you coming to Jacks game tonight and Ians barbecue? "

" of course Im coming. I wouldn't miss an opportunity to see my baby sister that doesn't come to visit anymore. Its been ten months since i last saw you hales . "

" oh come on your exaggerating your like Ian the last time I saw him . He even threatened to pull the Chris card ! " haley yelled while she received a laugh from the other line .

" i might have to pull the Chris card then "

" Matthew James you wouldn't dare ! "

" oh hales Im at Ians right now I'll see you later. Take care . Love you "

" byeee love you too "

" Matt is gonna love Nathan right? " Haley mumbled to herself as she walked towards the bathroom to continue getting ready Hoping to clam down .

What if they scare him away? What if they made him uncomfortable?

The sound of her ringing phone pulled her out of her thoughts. she smiled at the caller ID .

" hey you "

" what are you wearing Haley James ? "

" Nathan! Someone can hear you! " Nathan chuckled as he thought about how pink her cheeks must be.

" I don't care . Hows my beautiful girl doing? "

" Im good. Hows practice? "

" great actually. But I miss you like crazyy , how about you come down right now and watch me practice. So we have more time before your brothers come and steal you away from me "

" wont your coach be mad? "

" nah i asked him before i called you. He says its alright so get your cute ass here right now . I'll text you the address."

" okay!! See you later love you ! " Haley said quickly before Nathan had the chance to reply. She got dressed as fast as she could and made her way down to the street and called a cab to pick her up.

Nathan was practicing when the doors to the Spectrum Center opened revealing a tiny short woman. the players stopped playing to turn around and see who was it .

" sorry no offense but uh no fans are allowed in here" someone said while Nathan laughed at Haleys now confused face " thats not a fan. Thats Haley , Nathans roommate the one that hang out with us two weeks ago " Tony informed them while Nathan went jogging towards her. " hey baby. You look so beautiful in this dress " he kissed her cheek while Haley blushed in response " stop you cant kiss me here! In front of your teammates " Haley pointed at them behind Nathans shoulders, he turned around to see them smiling and waving at him " what them? So when we're around them I cant do this? " she nodded her head " or this? " he kissed her lips while wrapping his arms around her waist " mm Nathan we cant do this here! " she scolded him " we just did! " he chuckled while Haleys face was now pink " alright go sit over there and I'll kiss you more later " he gave her a peck on her lips then jogged towards the team and continued practicing. Haley walked over to the bleachers when she spot a young black skinned tall woman. Haley sat down next to her and smiled at her.

" hi Im Haley" Haley smiled at the woman when she stretched out her hand out for haley to shake. " heyy Im Jade. Im Tonys wife you must be Nathans girl " haley shook her hand and nodded " nice to meet you Jade I never knew that tony was married " She turned her head to look at Nathan who was now dribbling a ball " well we just got married thats why " Jade told her smiling at her husband who was beside Nathan " oh really?? Congratulations! " Haley smiled and hugged the girl next to her " thank you . When did you and Nathan start dating, last time I heard was that Nathan Scott had a smoking hot roommate who he hated " Haley laughed at Jade and told her the whole story .

on the court Nathan was sat at the court side seats drinking water when Tony slid next to him with a smirk on his face.

" wipe that ridiculous smirk of your face battle what do you want ? " Nathan turned around to face him " nothin man Just asking how you and haley ended up together last time I saw you together you wanted to rip each others head off " he said while laughing, Nathan stood up and walked leaving him alone " okay fine leave but I'm asking Jade about what happened between you two Im sure haley told her since they seem like besties now ! " Tony shouted from his seat while Nathan continued walking back into the court.

It was now Game time Haleys brothers haven't arrived yet and haley was so nervous but when she saw Nathan walking towards her she managed to clam down. Nathan grabbed her wrist and lead them over to the players locker room and pinned her against the wall before haley could even protest he captured her lips .she wrapped her arms around his neck while both of his hands were on the wall between her head. He slipped his tongue between her lips earning a moan from her . Haley pulled away first to catch her breath .

" what was that for " she asked breathlessly while looking at him . " because you seemed nervous and plus you look so hot in this green dress " he winked at her which caused her knees to buckle . " Keep it in your pants Scott we have a game to win lets go !! " a guy from the team said while walking into the locker room " shut up Dylan " Nathan said while giving him a death glare then turning to haley " sorry baby I'll see you after the game okay? " He said softly while looking at her adorable brown eyes as she nodded and kissed him one last kiss and walked out of the locker room.

Haley was standing at the corner waiting for her brothers to come when she spotted them she waved her hand in the air .

" shes there you dumbass " a tall raven haired man pointed at haley " hey guys ! " haley smiled at them

" Baby James ! " they yelled as they ran towards her enveloping her in a hug " your squishing her shes tiny you guys " a tall brown haired guy said from behind them while haley laughed and pulled away " not happy to see your little sister Jack? " she quirked an eyebrow " believe me I'm happy to see that finally our little sister remembered she had brothers ! Come here " Haley laughed while hugging her brother " good luck Jack " she said softly " so guys where Chris? " Jack asked his siblings who just shrugged " Im here " a deep voice responded from behind " Chris ! " haley yelled running towards him and hugged him while he laughed . He may be all tough and serious on the outside but a big softie when it comes to His little sister " hey hales how are you . I just saw Nate i wished him good luck even tho Jack is definitely going to win the game " He nodded towards his brother " hell yeah ! Nice catching up with you guys but i gotta go and play since I'm the basketball player but i got you guys court side seats so see you after the game " Jack told them as he jogged towards the locker room .

" In the final moments of the game, the score was tied. Jack James, known for his quick plays, dribbled down the court with precision. The crowd held their breath as he positioned himself for the shot. With only seconds left on the clock, Jack launched the ball towards the hoop. The arena erupted in cheers as the ball swished through the net, securing the win for the Knicks ! What a thrilling victory for Jack James and The Knicks ! So sad to see that the season has ended for the hornets " The sportscaster said into the microphone as the stadium was filled with cheers .

Haley and her brothers ran towards Jack and congratulated him, Haley slowly turned around and walked towards Nathan who was sat at the bench his head in his hand. Haley sat next to him and rubbed circles around his back she felt him calming down at her touch. He raised his head to look at haley who was smiling at him " hi baby. You looked amazing out there " she said softly while he smiled " haley what game were you watching we lost " he chuckled " that means i get to make you feel better " she whispered seductively in his ear " Haley James are you flirting with me In public? " he smirked at her " I guess I am . Now come on let's go i promise i will make you forget this loss but first we gotta deal with the madness " She grabbed his hand while he laughed. " I'll get changed and you wait here okay? We'll go together to Ians " he told her as she nodded.

Haley was standing waiting for her brothers to come so she could tell them that she was coming with Nathan and she had invited him when a tall blonde haired guy was walking towards her .

" Hey haley James right? Im mike i play for the Knicks with your brother " he said while looking at her from the top to the bottom and smirked " uh yeah nice to meet you I'm waiting for him actually " Haley started to feel uncomfortable and nervous by the way he was looking at her . " you have anything to do tonight? Maybe we can go back to my place " he winked at her while haley just gave a small smile .

ughh dammit where's Nathan and his overprotectiveness when you need him ! Or where the hell are my annoying brothers !!

" haley finally! We've been looking for you! " Jack said as he walked towards her and mike " oh hey mike what are you doing here? " he asked his forehead wrinkled in question " just talking with Haley right? "Mike turned to look at haley " uh yea nice to meet you . Lets go Jack " Haley started to walk with Jack beside her .

" whats wrong hales? You look uncomfortable are you okay? " Jack asked his sister his voice filled with concern " nothing he just um made me uncomfortable " She smiled at him " what did he do" he said angrily " nothing I promise he just um told me if i wanted to go back with him " she said quietly hoping that Jack didn't hear her " HE WHAT? Son of a bitch ! " Jack turned around to walk towards Mike when haley grabbed his arm " come on Jack let it go ! Dont make a scene you just won lets go celebrate In fact there's something i wanna tell you and the others " she said softly as he hugged her " Im just worried about you . What if he tried doing something to you. next time you see him You call me okay? " she promised as they walked.

When Haley was surrounded by her brothers she took a deep breath and quickly said " I invited Nathan over at Ians and I'm going with him so ill see you guys there " and walked away quickly before they can protest.

" wait did she say Nathan? As in Nathan scott? " Matthew said in shock " I thought they hated each other? " Jack said while nick nodded " oh i don't think so guys two weeks ago they came over for lunch with me and Julie . they seemed so close and friendly with each other " Ian told them as they gasped at the information " from what i heard that In high school he was always a one night stand kind of guy! He still is . If he thinks of haley like that i will make sure he regrets it " Chris said while walking away from his brothers towards his car .

across the parking lot Nathan was waiting by his car . He looked around for Haley the game ended a long time ago and she still hasn't came . Nathan lowered his head to look at his phone to text Haley asking where she was but someone called his name so he raised his head to see the beautiful brunette that he was waiting for running towards him and jumped in his arms and started to peppered him with kisses on his face till she reached his lips. Nathan pinned her against his cars door while she wrapped her legs around his waist .

" hi " Nathan said while he pulled away in need for air " hi " Haley giggled " what was that for ? " he smirked at her " that is for being a great basketball player " she kissed his cheek " thank you hales " he kissed her again but this time she pulled away his eyebrows raised in confusion " let me down we have to go to Ians when i told them i was coming with you I heard them freaking out so lets go lover boy but we gotta stop at the hotel I need to change " she kissed his cheek as he let her down .

Nathan and Haley were now standing at Ians front porch ringing the bell waiting for someone to open the door. Haley felt Nathans hand in her back pocket " Nathan Scott! We're on my Brothers front porch don't you dare grope me ! " she scolded him quietly " okay " he replied as he cupped her ass " Nathan !! " she shouted quietly " okay fine I'll get my hand off your perfect little ass " he raised his hands up in defense In time for the front door to open revealing Haleys brothers . " Nathan Scott! " They shouted " hey guys " he laughed at a now shocked Haley. " come on in " Ian said as he lead them to the back yard where a table was set up with burgers on it and on the ground was a cooler with beer in it. Haley sat in a chair next to her was Nathan across them were her brothers .

They ate while making small conversation about sports and the game when haley cleared her throat " Guys I wanna tell you something and please don't freak out i mean it ! " Haley pointed her finger at them " Whats up Baby J ? " Nick asked his sister.

haley took Nathans hand in hers and squeezed it under the table he gave her a smile that calmed her down . " Me and Nathan are dating " she smiled at them " oh we're happy for you hales ! " Chris said as the rest nodded Haley was confused but smiled " now that you know Im going to the bathroom " Haley laughed as she got up from her seat " when I come back from the bathroom I swear to god if I find out that you guys did something to hurt Nathan you will regret it ! " Haley warned them while they just laughed at her " Don't worry sis he's a big boy " Ian said as they nodded .

Haley walked towards the house when she was out of sight Nathan continued eating his burger while Chris whispered to his brothers " when I say now, we're pinning him against the wall I'm going to grab him by the throat. Jack and nick your holding his arms . Ian and Matt you're holding his legs . Drew your holding his face in place. " Chris told them as they nodded in response " Now ! " Chris yelled as they got up from their seats and walked towards Nathan who was shocked to see what was happening. " woah guys " he said while he got up from his chair without any warning he was pinned against the wall . " listen to me Scott and listen to me carefully. I know how you are with woman but don't you dare think of haley as a one night stand kind of girl if you ever think of hurting her " Chris said as he tightened the hold against his throat " if you ever hurt her I'll make sure you never play basketball again " Jack said as the grip on Nathans arm was tighter " We'll make sure you suffer if you think of just breaking her heart " Andrew warned him beside him was Chris who was giving Nathan a death glare " oh if you ever did anything to make her uncomfortable I'll make sure to blow your perfect knee ! " Matthew said as he put his hand on Nathan's knee " I promise you guys ill never hurt Haley. I love her so much Shes means everything to me ." Nathan managed to get out " if we ever hear that you cheated on her or even made her cry I'll make sure you never- " Ian said while he got interrupted " GUYS UGH COME ON ! LEAVE HIM ALONE " Haley came running after seeing what they were doing . The boys let go of Nathan when Haley came and stood in front of Nathan protecting him from her brothers. " we were just having a conversation with him " Matthew said as the rest nodded " a conversation??? a fucking conversation while he was pinned against the wall and with Chris's hand on his throat! " Haley shouted at her brothers before turning around to look at Nathan and cupped his face in her hands " are you hurt? oh my god your throat is blue! Does it hurt? Are you breathing well ? " She asked moving his face left and right checking for any bruises then touching his throat " Im fine hales I'm really okay" he smiled at her . Haley turned and looked at her brothers " Chris James ! Just because your a cop doesn't mean you get to hold people from their throats ! Nathan loves me and I love him ! You guys have to live with it . If mom and dad knew what you did they would be ashamed of you guys. " Haley said as she stared at them in disbelief " we're sorry Haley but we need to protect you from being hurt " Chris said softly as his brothers nodded " I know guys but I also know Nathan I know he doesn't wanna hurt me I know that he really cares for me so please just apologize to him and give him a chance he really changed " Haley said while they nodded and told Nathan sorry but Nathan laughed and told them its okay .

They continued the night making conversation with Nathan. They got to know the real Nathan. The mature old changed Nathan they trusted that version of Nathan with Haley. When it was time to go Haley hugged all her brothers while they all apologized to Nathan again. " call us haley ! " they said as she laughed and nodded " see you guys soon! You should come visit me in tree hill sometimes " She said as they nodded.

Nathan and haley were now in their hotel room cuddled up on the bed .

" are you sure your okay? "Haley asked him for the millionth time " yes i told you I'm okay" he chuckled at her as she smiled and kissed his cheek " I like your brothers actually I used to love coming with Luke to your house just to play with them " he smiled at the memory " i remember you were so cute " she cupped his cheek . " now get some sleep baby we have to drive back to tree hill and your driving " Haley said laughing as Nathan pouted " good night hales " he said as he kissed her one last kiss before they drifted off to sleep .
