While on a hunt, Prince Arthur(19), accidentally offends Nimueh, who curses him in an unorthodox and embarrassing way. Upon returning to Camelot, Arthur requests Merlin's (18) services; but not the typical services the prince would usually request. Amidst the predicament, both young men find themselves overcoming awkwardness through their chemistry, leading to a wholesome night.

I only recently watched "Merlin" and when I finished I needed to know more. Did Merlin return to Camelot? How would he cope with Arthur's loss? This story is what I imagine happened in the days following Arthur's death.

A new fashion trend has hit Camelot, but Arthur isn't a fan.

Balinor escapes Camelot after Uther kills all of the Dragonlords, leaving behind a pregnant Hunith. Years later, Merlin, who struggles to conceal his magic, befriends Prince Arthur. Their bond is tested when Arthur learns of Merlin's magic, but his loyalty to Merlin remains steadfast, though their relationship is marred by the weight of secrets and struggle for equality.

On a hunting trip gone wrong, Arthur discovers Merlin's magic and banishes him - but not before making a wish he'll come to regret. The next day, Arthur has no memory of the magic, and wakes up to a Camelot that is not his own. Everything is different, everyone seems terrified of him, and worst of all… Merlin has vanished without a trace, as if he never existed in the first place.

Arthur's birthday is coming, and Merlin is just trying to survive. Arthur's being more of a pain than usual, accusing Merlin of being at the core of every noble's desires. Oh, and that Merlin can't possibly have a loved one, because he's far too annoying for anyone to put up with. Arthur's right, but Merlin has a plan to wipe that smug look off the prince's face.

Merlin and Arthur go on recon mission. However, nothing ever goes as planned, and they get separated. Merlin is kidnapped. Arthur must find a way to rescue his ever loyal servant before the war begins. But what will he do when he sees Merlin at Morgana's side? What had she done to get the mighty Emrys to lead her army? Is Merlin still the Merlin Arthur was so desperate to rescue?

Merlin didn't make it out of his encounter with the Lamia unscathed, or so Arthur thinks when he slays the beast and finds Merlin slumped against a wall and bleeding. When he learns the true source of the injuries he is furious. Cue hurt Merlin and a caring, very worried Arthur. End of the Lamia episode but established Merthur, and the knights actually injured Merlin.

After Morgana attacks Helva, Merlin must find whatever she is after before she does. With the help of a stranger, it seems possible. Or is the stranger just leading him to his death?
