The four sisters stood by their lockers, having recently moved to a new town and been accepted at Casper High. They were all attractive and shared a close bond. Each sister had a distinct hair color: red, pink, light blue, and orange. However, the most peculiar aspect of their identity was their names—Blinky, Pinky, Inky, and Clyde—namesakes of the ghosts from the Pac-Man series. When inquired about the origin of their names, they simply shrugged, admitting it was a mystery they too were pondering.
"Well, here we are, a new home, a new school, the same dull life," Blinky sighed.
"I can't believe we had to change our clothes!" She added.
"It's the school rules, Blinky," Inky reminded her.
"Easy for you to say! You just have to slip on some underwear and a shirt!" Blinky grumbled.
"I don't know; I think these clothes are quite nice," Clyde remarked with a smile.
Blinky shook her head, choosing not to argue. It was, after all, their first day at school. Looking around, she noticed many boys in sports jackets; some were even threatening or shoving into lockers those without them. Despite its reputation as the best school, it seemed the students were far from harmonious.
"Blinky?" Inky inquired, eliciting a sigh from her sister.
"I'm fine," She replied, shaking her head.
The quartet then proceeded to their next class, aware that they would once again have to face their teachers.
Lunch,
The four of them exhaled in unison as they sat around the table. Their new instructor was dreadfully dull! Inky was convinced she dozed off as soon as he began speaking, which was unusual because she never sleeps during class.
"Seriously, what subject does he think he's teaching?" Clyde exclaimed.
"I have no clue," Pinky murmured, struggling to stay awake through the lesson.
"I've attended more engaging talks by Inky," Blinky chimed in.
The rest concurred, considering Inky a superior educator. Inky, being the most intelligent among them, usually made more sense to them.
"I'm a bit surprised no guy has tried to ask us out," Clyde remarked, thinking back to their old school.
"Yeah, I was sure we'd be swarmed by now," Pinky agreed.
"Maybe it's the clothes we're wearing," Blinky suggested with a frown.
"But we wore these at our old school, Blinky," Pinky pointed out, sighing.
Blinky sighed and scanned the room once more. She noticed the same group of teens in sports jackets, along with the cheerleaders, monopolizing one table with all the appetizing food, while the rest were left with the unappealing options. Fortunately, the four had packed their own lunches.
Blinky's gaze then fell upon a boy who seemed different from the others. He was sitting at a table with another boy and a girl, all dressed in black. There was something about him that made him stand out. Her sisters caught her gaze and turned to look at the same boy.
Suddenly, hearts materialized around all four of them, as if they had simultaneously spotted their dream guy.
"Do you girls see what I'm seeing?" Blinky inquired.
"A cute boy you'd devour?" Pinky ribbed her, despite her own heart skipping a beat.
"Is it wrong to say we're all smitten with him?" Clyde wondered, surrounded by hearts.
"No, and it's not the first time we've all fallen for the same guy," Inky remarked, keeping her cool.
"This is it, then! Let's find out his name!" Blinky declared, preparing to stand.
"Wait a minute, sis! I've heard about that boy," Inky interjected.
"Really?" Pinky questioned.
"Yes, all thanks to those loudmouths over there," Inky said, gesturing towards the teens in jackets.
"That's Daniel Fenton, son of the ghost hunters Jack and Maddie Fenton. I heard his parents were arrested for attempting to construct a portal without the city's permission. They were only detained for the weekend, though, and vowed never to build anything again without approval," Inky said.
"Really? Then perhaps we should treat him to some Pac-Man Fever," Blinky suggested.
"NO!" Pinky yelled, her cheeks flushing.
"Come on, Pinky, it'll be PG, I promise," Blinky reassured.
"Blinky! Do you remember what happened to the last person who saw us do that?!" Pinky reminded him, causing her red-haired sister to look away.
The guy they all liked before wanted to see something new, so they performed their "Pac-Baby Dance" for him. They went as far as showing all three versions of it. He posted it online and made tons of money on it, without their permission. They dumped him and blocked all videos of their dance. Well, they blocked two versions of it as lots of people posted they like their dance and not because they were shaking their butts or bouncing their D-Cup breasts. Inky was able to hack into the post informing everyone that the videos were posted without their permission and asked for the account to pay them back. It took them a few months, but the girl paid back everyone. Inky even deleted the accounts so no one would try to pay them to undo the other two versions.
"Fine," Blinky said, pouting.
"But we're still going to talk to him, right?" she asked, receiving nods in response.
"Of course!" Clyde exclaimed, smirking.
"We just need to be more cautious this time. I've heard he's not too smooth with the ladies," Inky mentioned.
Pinky nodded, recalling a few boys who had found it difficult to talk to her. She turned to Blinky, anticipating her thoughts.
"No flirting, Blinky," She instructed.
"Huh? What?" Blinky responded, prompting glares from the trio.
"Fine! Just spoil my fun," She grumbled, pouting once more.
Nevertheless, she knew there would be other opportunities later. With that understanding, the four friends agreed to approach him after school.
Alright, I'll wrap this up here. I'm running low on ideas, but I've returned. For those who recall my Ghost Girls story featuring Minus8's Pac-man Ghost Girls, I've revised it. I intend to revisit the original too. There are notable changes in this version. The four sisters aren't ghosts, yet retain their powers. In this narrative, Danny lacks his powers, but he will acquire the Power Berries as in my previous tale. Additionally, I've opted not to cast Sue as the antagonist. More planning is required, but I need to begin somewhere.
The reason for my absence over the past week was due to my old laptop's hard drive failing unexpectedly. Despite our efforts, it was deemed irrecoverable. Consequently, I had to purchase a new one, which took about a week to acquire. Most of yesterday was spent familiarizing myself with the new device, as it is slightly smaller than my previous one. However, I believe I've gotten the hang of it. With some luck, I'll be able to resume updating my stories. I'm in need of something to reignite my passion for writing.
