Chapter 4: Toxic Wonderfulness (4/4)
Chaos, pure and unfiltered chaos. That was the only way to describe the current situation.
"How many?" Wonder Woman asked.
"Approximately forty-seven, though there could be more." Robin responded.
"Nobody died yet, that's the only good news." Wonder Girl added.
After the incident on the street. Robin and Wonder Girl helped the civilians that were poisoned by aiding the police, firefighters and paramedics in transporting everyone to the nearest hospital.
Wonder Woman showed up after a while and encountered them.
"I informed the medical staff that all of them were poisoned by some unknown substance." Robin explained as he observed some of the patients being treated. "Unfortunately, we can't really do anything until we figure it out."
"Shame you destroyed those vaporizers, we could have taken a sample to analyze it." Wonder Girl pointed out and she was correct.
"Agreed, but it made the most sense to destroy them at the moment." Considering that they were causing a lot of harm. "Besides," He reached into his utility belt and pulled out a vial. "I left one intact." In his hand, there was a sample of the poison that was used in those devices.
"Do you think it can be used to produce an antidote?" Wonder Woman asked him as she herself watched as the medics attempted to save the civilians' lives.
"Maybe with enough time, but I don't think time is on our side right now." Robin pointed out the unfortunate truth.
"Yeah..." Wonder Girl agreed with her cousin with a sad face. "What do we do?"
"I'm going to make my way to the hospital lab and analyze this sample." Robin told the two as he held the vial up. He was hoping that he could maybe gather some data to produce an antidote, but without the tools and technology of the Batcave, it would be a very difficult task. However, despite that, he could send the data the Batcave and Alfred utilize it to produce the antidote then have Cassie grab it just like she did his suit. "I'm almost certain that what happened on those streets was nothing but a test, but I could be wrong, so I think you two should fly around the city and see if there are more of those devices around." The possibility of more of those vaporizers being placed around the city is high. Especially since they are still clueless about what Doctor Poison plans on using that poison for, because he highly doubts that harming civilians is the reason why she went through the trouble of retrieving the sample from the Police Department.
"I agree, we should split up and check the city." Wonder Woman told Wonder Girl.
"If that's the case, you take the north and I take the south." Wonder Girl proposed.
"Here." Robin handed communicators to both women. "I genuinely don't understand why the two of you don't have yours." Everyone in the Justice League had them in case of the need for contact, but they didn't have it with them for some reason.
"Mine got damaged during my fight with Cheetah." Wonder Woman revealed to him, as it did make sense since he had his gear damaged on fights often. "I was going to get myself another, but..."
"My visit and Doctor Poison's attack happened." He already understood. "But, what exactly happened to your communicator?" Then he moved his head to ask Wonder Girl.
"Ummm..." The Demi-Goddess looked away embarrassed in response to his question.
"She lost it." Wonder Woman answered for her.
"Again?" Robin gave her an apprehensive look since this was the third time that happened.
"It's not my fault that things are so easy to lose!" Wonder Girl tried to make excuses for her carelessness.
Robin grunted before turning his back. "We're wasting time, every second we waste might cost a life." He stated while looking at the victims of this attack.
"He's right, we must hurry." Wonder Woman said as he touched Wonder Girl's shoulder.
"Call us if you need us." Wonder Girl told him.
"I will." Robin gave them a thumbs up as he continued to walk towards the opposite direction while the two Demi-Goddess moved to inspect the city for more toxic traps.
The sidekick continued to walk through the hospital quietly, however, his presence there caused a considerable ruckus as a considerable amount of people were staring at him. Robin didn't had the time to try to decipher what the civilians were thinking at the moment, though if he had to take a wild guess, his presence there only made them more worried because to the naked eye, it seemed like Wonder Woman asked Batman for help and that could only mean that things were incredibly serious. Sadly, Robin himself thought that the situation was indeed a considerably serious situation.
As he continued to walk, suddenly, his communicator began to beep.
"Robin speaking, over." And he decided to check.
"This is Batman, over." It turned out to be Batman.
"I already sent a status report of the current situation involving Doctor Poison." Robin decided to inform Batman of everything that was going on in case of the situation getting out of hand. "My current course of action is to analyze a sample of the poison that she used and try to engineer an antidote for the people infected with it, over."
"Send the data you manage to gather and I will see to it personally." Batman informed him. "Keep your eyes open, whatever happens in the next few hours might reveal to you what exactly Doctor Poison is planning, over."
"Affirmative." Robin responded before ending the call and proceeding to continue to make his way to the lab.
"Hmmmm..." The hospital lab was well equipped, at least in comparison to the hospitals in Gotham City. Robin had no trouble in analyzing the sample as the tools present were more than enough, however, it proved to be more complicated than he thought since the sample showcased something incredibly unusual about the poison. I thought I had my fill of mad woman, but Doctor Poison is clearly a close contender to the top spot. Robin thought bitterly.
Upon analysis, Robin was able to discover that the toxic substance that Doctor Poison got her hands on had strange similarities with two specific toxins. Spindle toxin and a botulinum toxin to be more specific. Robin was barely able to identify it but it was only due to his advanced technology. This is bad, botulinum toxin attacks the body's nerves and causes difficulty breathing, muscle paralysis, and even death while spindle toxin disrupts cell division by affecting the protein threads that connect the centromere regions of chromosomes, known as spindles. Despite the fact that it wasn't really those two specifically, there were undeniable similarities. After collecting enough data from the sample, he was almost ready to send it to Batman, but there was something that he wished to check first.
He took the sample and placed it in his utility belt before standing up. Then he moved towards the door to exit the room. Upon leaving the hospital, he saw a nurse walking past him. "Excuse me?"
"Huh?!" She moved her head and saw him. "Ummm..." Visibly nervous with his presence.
"I didn't mean to interrupt your work, but I need some information." He politely told her.
"Okay?" The nurse seemed confused.
"I need you to tell me where the critical patients from the incident that occured three hours ago are being kept." The last piece of information that Robin needed. In order to know the danger that he is facing since he is still unaware of the actual effects of the poison other than the fact that it's lethal and untraceable by normal means.
"The ones in critical conditions are being kept on the fifth floor." The nurse bluntly responded.
"Thank you." Robin wasted no time and proceeded to make his way to the fifth floor in order to gather the last piece of information. He was currently on the third floor where the lab was located, so it wouldn't be a long way.
The sidekick moved through the corridors of the hospital at a considerable speed. Moving passed several of the hospital staff, patients and visitants. Everyone, unsurprisingly, moved their gazes to look at him. Something that Robin was used to since he gets those looks every time he is walking in an area that has civilians on.
"What was he doing all this time?" Another nurse asked someone in a low voice.
"He was in the lab, analyzing the poison that was used in that attack on those streets." A doctor responded.
"You think he found something that could help, the people that came in early are in really bad shape." Hearing that made Robin walk faster as he needed to get the information as quickly as possible.
So instead of going to the elevator, he just made his way to the stairs and used his grappling gun to reach the fifth floor as quickly as possible. Once he entered the door and passed through the corridor, Robin began to search for any patient in critical condition due to the poison. Fortunately, it only took him a minute to find, because the first room that he reached gave him the answer.
"Hmmm..." Inside the room, there was a nurse applying medication to a patient that was laying on top of the bed. Robin knew that he was in the street because he actually remembers seeing him when he and Wonder Girl were helping with the victims. This is not good, not good at all. Because Robin activated his detective vision and saw that, despite the fact that he looked perfectly normal on the outside. He could see that nearly every single one of his organs was starting to fail. Heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, pancreas, brain... There was no way that was a coincidence. Strange, it's like, it's slowly affecting his internal organs. In truth, the only reason Robin was able to tell was because he was seeing in real time thanks to his detective vision, usually, it would take some close examination to notice. But why is he so... Normal? Despite that, his heart rate was normal and his blood pressure was actually perfectly balanced. Which should be impossible.
The patient didn't look like someone suffering from any kind of organ failure as he was absolutely normal, he was even laughing and flirting with a nurse. Without his detective vision, Robin could see no sign whatsoever of organ failure, and the man was clearly not feeling anything either. It's both untraceable and unnoticeable? That was a possibility that he could not discard. I need more evidence. So he decided to check on more patients.
For the next twenty minutes or more, he spent going from room to room, inspecting almost every single patient that came to the hospital after the attack on those streets. And all of them were practically the same, organ failure that they were visibly clueless about, with some even walking around, eating and demanding to be released because they think they are okay.
This is really , really bad... It was Robin's opinion. Normally, you should be able to tell that you are poisoned, especially when it's slow acting. But this... This is unbelievable... A poison that causes slow organ failure without the signs of organ failure. Such a thing should be impossible, but then he remembered that he is the clone of a billionaire , an alien and a Demi-goddess, so he remembered that there is no such a thing as impossible.
Wasting no more time, Robin sent the data that he gathered to Batman alongside the analysis of all of the patients that he inspected on that floor. This will take some time, and I am pretty certain that we won't be able to get enough of the antidote on time. Despite his deep shame in admitting it, there will probably be casualties.
Once the data was sent, Robin decided to inform the hospital staff of the situation. All he could do was hope that they were able to at least minimize the effects of the poison but the chances of it were highly unlikely considering the uniqueness of it. When that was taken care of, Robin decided to join Wonder Woman and Wonder Girl in patrolling the city.
What are you planning? Robin asked himself as he glided through Gateway City, observing the city from above in search of any sign of danger. Waiting for something to happen will only lead to more casualties, but we have nothing to go by other than a few loose leads that don't really lead anywhere. He kept thinking about the clues that they gathered so far, but nothing on them can give them a clear idea of what is happening.
In his pondering, Robin barely noticed that he was losing altitude as he was actually remarkably close to the street. Dammit... He was about to use his grappling gun to regain altitude, until he realized something "Huh?" By pure and complete accident, Robin noticed that on top of some of the pole of the street lights, there was a surveillance camera.
Wait... What if... The moment his eyes came across that detail, Robin activated his detective vision and attempted to connect himself to the surveillance system. Once he did, he wasted no time in using his grappling gun to reach the nearest rooftop he could find. It never crossed my mind to actually check it if there were traffic cameras in those streets, mostly because the ones in Gotham City are rarely functional. Because thugs are constantly destroying them, only on a few occasions he and Batman come across an intact one, like the one they used to investigate Gilda Grace's disappearance.
Let's see... As soon as he reached the rooftop, Robin pulled out his Cryptographic Sequencer from his utility belt and used it to hack into Gateway City's traffic surveillance.
It took him a few minutes, but he was able to hack into it. Which allowed him to have access to footage from earlier that day. "Hmmm..." The cameras were fully functional, so he decided to check the footage of each street where those devices were placed. Starting with the street where Wonder Woman's apartment was located.
It was footage of the hour when both Robin and Wonder Girl reached the apartment to investigate the files that they acquired from the police station. Observing the footage, nothing seemed out of the ordinary, until a strange looking vehicle appeared at the spot. It was a 2000 Chevrolet Express in the color white. It stopped right in the middle of the street and stood there for a few seconds, until the back doors opened and four men carried the device out of the van. The four men were wearing Hazmat suits that were in the color green. They placed the device on the street and reentered the van as quickly as possible before driving off.
Robin inspected the footage of the other streets, but they were more or less the same. I am not really surprised, I already expected for henchmen to be involved. It's impossible to identify them due to the suits but... Despite the lack of licence plates on those vans, it was still possible to identify the vehicles through the identification number. Thankfully, Robin was able to analyze one of them due to the angle of one of those footages.
Using the detective's vision, he was able to identify it in a minute. The van belonged to a delivery company that was destroyed due to a fire that occured a about a month ago, but the vans were not found among the rubble and were reported missing . After getting that piece of information, Robin decided to check on some of the delivery men that worked for that company.
Most of them were simple men with no criminal record.
However, a week before the fire, one of it's delivery men was fired due unspecified reasons. The delivery man was named Edwin Foewilla and unlike the others, he had previously been arrested several times for grand theft auto and illegally selling the robbed vehicles. Coincidence... I don't think so... Which was why he decided to check the man's address.
Deciding to follow his only lead at the moment, Robin decided to find Edwin Foewilla, the primary suspect of the robbery of the vans that were used by Doctor Poison during the attack on the street. Apparently the man was currently homeless but he had a job as a junkyard operator. So the sidekick made his way to the junkyard in order to check for any signs of him.
It wasn't very far from his current location, so he glided there easily. From above, he could see a large pile of cars that had seen better days, but the most obvious thing there was the large garage, which was where Robin went. Landing on the roof as stealthy as possible, he decided to observe from above in order to check for his target.
"Hmmm..." Making his way to the edge in order to observe the front of the garage better, Robin came across two people. One of them was standing right in front of the garage door, it was a stocky man with a shaved head and a full beard, he was wearing blue coveralls and was speaking on a cellphone. The other one was sitting inside an excavator, sorting a bunch of cars into a pile.
He activates his detective vision. The stocky man is named Jackie Adrian, he is the owner of that Junkyard. The man sitting on the excavator was the man that he was looking for.
Despite the fact that he was in a hurry to figure something out, he decided to observe it for a bit before interrogating the individual. Worst case scenario, he has no connection with this at all and I'm simply making an assumption based on his previous criminal activities. It was a possibility but it was better to be certain. Best case scenario, he was the one that actually provided the vans to those henchmen. Robin doubts that he is actually one himself, because he never saw a criminal accomplice having a regular job unless it's to keep up appearances. But something tells him that this is not the case there.
"Huh?" Suddenly, Foewilla came out of the excavator in a hurry. It was sweaty, beer-bellied middle-aged man with unkempt black hair wearing the same coverhalls as the owner though the top was off revealing a white T-shirt covered in engine oil stains. He made his way to the garage quickly, and by the way that he was walking, he seemed to be in pain. Because he was clutching his stomach.
Once he was inside the garage, Robin activated the detective vision to observe him from outside. Upon close inspection, he realized that the man was suffering from internal bleeding. It was from a blow to the stomach that apparently happened not long ago since he clearly hasn't figured it out yet. However, as he observed the man as he walked through the garage, Robin came across an interesting sight. Is that...
Wasting no time, Robin decided to rush towards the front of the garage, jump down and land right in front of the entrance. The owner was still distracted with his phone call and didn't notice as Robin entered the garage. The reason why, was because he spotted one of the vans from the attack on the street inside of the garage. "BLEARGH!" As he walked, there were loud noises echoing through the garage that sounded like someone vomiting. "BLURTCH!" After several steps, he reached the van. "GURGHH!" And the source of the sound, which unsurprisingly, turned out to be Edwin Foewilla vomiting behind the van.
As he did, Robin took a good look at the van, noticing signs of a crash that he can only assume had happened while they were driving away from the street. But just to be certain, Robin activated his detective vision once again and analyzed the vehicle. There are traces of the substance on the back of the van. Confirming that it was indeed one of the vans. Internal bleeding was probably caused by the crash. Which indicated that Foewilla was indeed involved since the attack only occured a less than few hours ago and the possibility of him taking the van off someone's hands and then crashing it was highly unlikely.
Eventually, Foewilla stopped vomiting and began to breathe heavily to try to recover his breath. Which was the time that Robin decided to approach him.
"Gastrointestinal bleeding." Robin bluntly told the man as he stood behind him.
"Tah!" Starting the man, who turned around in fear, stepping on his own vomit that had blood on it.
"Likely caused by a blow in your lower abdomen that you received when you crashed this van." Robin spoke in a calm and blunt manner as he slowly stepped forward. "While a normal person would immediately make their way to a hospital to check for any damage, you instead decided to go to work normally because you have something to hide and need to keep up appearances." The man kept stepping back in fear as Robin approached him. "And a smart person would actually cooperate with the costumed individual that has a reputation of severely injuring criminals instead of foolishly trying to approach a tool box to grab something to attack him." Which was clearly what he was trying to do since there was a tool box filled with tools that could be used as weapons that he visibly had the intention of reaching since it was only five steps away from him. "Go on, grab something, if you genuinely wish for more pain."
...
...
...
...
...
"L-look, I was just doing it for the cash okay!" In the end, he was smart enough to not try to attack Robin.
"Spare me the excuses," Robin bluntly shut down his pathetic attempts to excuse his crime. "Where did you people get those devices?"
"They were all inside of a truck that was parked in the parking lot of Gateway City High School." Hearing that surprised Robin, because that was one of schools that his cousin was expelled from. "We just loaded those things into the van and left them at specific addresses."
"Who told you to do that?" Doctor Poison probably didn't give them orders directly.
"It was a guy named Will Marston, he gave us a lot of money and addresses." He responded. "I think he works at the school." He would check that name later and see if that information matched.
"Were you told the purpose of why those devices were left on those streets?" Robin doubted that he did, but it was worth asking.
"No man, and I didn't fucking wanna know I just wanted my money." He admitted with non-existing regret or shame that he helped put a bunch of men, women and children in the hospital with his actions.
"Last question, the rest of the people that worked with you, what happened to them?" Robin decided to ask.
"Look... I told them to wait a few hours and then bring the vans here to get rid of them." The man revealed his plan to cover his tracks.
"Is your boss involved?" Robin asked in regards to the man outside.
"Not completely, he agreed to get rid of the vans in exchange of cash but he doesn't know the reason for." The man clarified.
"That is all I needed to hear." Robin had all the information that he needed.
"So, what-" Before Edwin Foewilla could say anything else, Robin charged towards the man and delivered a jumping side kick to his face, causing him to fall backwards and hit the back of his head on the floor. Knocking him out cold.
After he incapacitated the man, Robin turned his back on him and made his way to the garage's door. Stepping out, he noticed that the owner was still talking on the phone, so Robin decided to approach him from behind.
"Honey, I can get the money by the end of the week." Who was apparently talking to his wife or girlfriend. "You think I don't know that?!" The man was upset with something. "Listen, just focus on the preparations for her graduation party and let me handle the money issue." That was clearly financially related. "Okay, I love you too." Then he finally ended the call.
"Cooperate with me and I can make sure that you get the money." Robin spoke as soon as he ended the call.
"What the!?" With the man immediately turning around to see him. "Yo-You'r-"
"Currently, I am investigating a crime that one of your employers participated in and you are involved in this particular crime as several vehicles that are to arrive were used to harm several innocent people and you are going to help them get rid of them to get rid of the evidence." Robin bluntly explained the situation to the man.
"What?!" The owner of that Junkyard was clearly shocked by it. "No! No! No! I have nothing to do with this!" Before desperately denying his involvement. "He just told me that he knew some guys that wanted to get rid of some old vans and that they were going to pay a considerable amount of cash for it!"
"I believe, so cooperate with me and I can assure you that you won't be held accountable for it." Robin negotiated with the man.
"Okay, okay, anything!" The man was quick to accept as he was afraid of being arrested for this.
"First, I need you to call the police."
"Ahhhh... Why did it have to be here..."
After getting the necessary information from Foewilla, Robin decided to inform the police of the current situation and Chief Modini decided to set up a trap with aid of the owner of the Junkyard to apprehend the other hentchmen that were involved in the street attack. Robin decided to trust this to the police and proceed with his investigation by utilizing the information that he managed to acquire from Foewilla.
"Care to share why you were expelled from here?" While Robin was on his way to the School, Wonder Girl contacted him and he told her about what he discovered and she wasted no time in joining him there.
"I don't wanna talk about it." The blond girl didn't even try to hide her embarrassment. Robin could easily discover, but he prefered to simply respect her privacy. "So, what are we doing here exactly?"
"According to Foewilla's confession, the one who organized that attack was a man called Will Marston." He informed her.
"Mr. Marston?!" And apparently Cassie knew him. "He was my chemistry teacher."
"By the looks of it, he is working for Doctor Poison." Robin revealed it to her. "I called his home pretending to be a student that needed information about an upcoming test and his wife told me that he was currently in the school evaluating some tests."
"So are we going in to interrogate him?" Wonder Girl asked the obvious question.
"Pretty much, he might be the one that can either tell us what Doctor Poison is planning or may give us the location of her hideout." At least that was what Robin was hoping to get from the chemistry teacher. "Shall we?"
"After you." Wonder Girl replied
They were currently on top of the school's roof, and he proceeded to make his way in through one of the windows. I personally don't understand what could a chemistry teacher possibly gain by working with a mad woman like Doctor Poison, but considering the kind of people that work for the Joker, I can't exactly act suprise that there would be people willing to do the dirty work for dangerous criminals. Robin pondered as they entered the school through one of the windows of the second floor.
But, as soon as the two sidekicks entered Gateway City High School, they realized that there was something off. They are currently inside the Principal's office. Somewhat nice looking, it had a broad window facing several buildings, a table in the center with two chairs, a small corner table, and a small vase was kept on it. The walls of the room are painted with ivory color, and there was a small cupboard kept aside with rows of files in a tidy manner.
"What's this smell?" Wonder Girl asked him because they could feel a strong smell inside the school.
"No idea, but it's probably not something good." Robin couldn't recognize the smell, which was bad since it could be something toxic.
Having no other choice, both of them moved towards the door in order to search for Mr. Marston. Robin saw his car outside so he was definitely inside the school. The moment they stepped out of the Principal's office, Robin activated his detective vision to search for the man. It took him less than a second, since he actually saw the man moving. "Downstairs." He was right below them, walking down the corridor.
Wonder Girl signalled him to follow her since he knew the area better than him, so he followed her as they made their way towards the stairs. With the strange smell becoming even stronger. Making Robin worried that this might be some kind of toxin or gas that they don't know about. I don't feel anything, but considering what I saw in the hospital, I don't think it's worth the risk. So Robin stopped Wonder Girl by grabbing on her arm as they descended the stairs.
"What?" She asked him.
"Stay still..." Robin instructed her as he activated his detective vision to check her condition. With a sigh of relief escaping his lips when he saw that she was perfectly normal. "Sorry, I was worried that this smell was toxic or something."
"Yeah, I was about to suggest that, what the hell is it?" Wonder Girl was trying to understand what that strange smell was.
While his detective vision was still activated, Robin moved his head to look at Mr. Marston. "Huh?!" Only to catch the sight of several more individuals surrounding him. "Come on!" Robin yelled as he rushed towards the room.
"What?!" Wonder Girl immediately followed him as he rushed towards the first floor.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" With his worry being confirmed as a loud scream was heard by them.
Running as quickly as he could down the corridor in order to reach the room that he saw. Ironically, it was the chemistry classroom and once Robin reached it, he wasted no time in kicking the door open. Right inside of the room, he saw six individuals wearing the same hazmat suits from the footage on the street. They were all circling around a bloody man that had fallen on the floor, which was obviously Mr. Marston.
Wonder Girl reached the room as well and widened her eyes at the sight. Before her shocked expression was replaced by an angry frown.
In a matter of seconds, before any of them could react. Wonder Girl charged into them at an inhuman speed and threw a painful looking straight punch into the stomach of the first one that she could reach, sending flying into the wall. Before she grabbed the second one and lifted him all the way over her head with both hands and tossed him into the third one. Then she delivered a roundhouse kick into the fourth one's head that knocked him out instantly. Followed by a front kick that took the fifth henchmen off the floor and made him fall into a nearby table.
Then she turned around to face the last one standing, who pulled a pistol on her. "STAY BACK!" He yelled while sloppily aiming a FN Model 1922 at her.
Only for Robin to approach him from behind and deliver a hammerfist to his carotid sinus. Immediately knocking him out.
"Ahhh..." Once they were all dealt with, they actually heard a grunt coming from Mr. Marston, causing the two to rush towards the blooded man.
Robin kneeled down next to him and checked his injuries. He was stabbed in the stomach. Using his detective vision, he saw that the blade perforated his bowel. Dammit, this exposes the structures within the peritoneal cavity to gastrointestinal contents. "You need to fly him to the hospital now or else he won't make it."
"What about them?!" Wonder Girl asked as they were surrounded by the unconscious henchmen.
"We can deal with them." Robin pointed out.
"We?" Wonder Girl was confused since she was the only one there with him.
Robin responded by using his communicator. "Wonder Woman, do you copy?"
Q AND A:
Thanks for the chapter, I missed reading this story. Would it be possible to update it more frequently? It doesn't have to be every week, just at least once a month. I really like this story a lot.
I'm glad to hear that, I can't exactly control the frequency of updates since I can only write when I have free time which isn't a lot.
If this is a test then Doctor Poison has a different objective for the poison. Where will she target n why. This will require knowing how Doctor Poison thinks.
So Alan has been Robin the moment he was released from his pod?
Unfortunately Kryptonian naming mythology is as scarce as to how many r left so nobody knows how to properly name Kryptonians outside of the comics.
Update soon.
Thankfully, Alan was able to capture some of her henchman.
Not quite...
That was kind of my point, we don't enough information to use in that regard.
Here we go...
Obrigado pelo capítulo incrível, Autor-San!
De nada amigo..
Nice having a new chapter
Also nice to know that only thing that bothered Alan about having Cassie pressed up against him was they weren't alone haha
Anyway while investigating the case of the current Dr Poison getting her hands on the works of the original like the moment Alan and Cassie had in her bedroom even if part of it annoyed Alan which seemed to be just the pinning down bit so needless to say Alan isn't a fan of being a sub in any shape or form haha
Liked seeing them team up to deal with Dr Poisons test run and resolve it
As for how those devices got to where they set off well villains to have a easy time finding dumb goons to do their work don't they seems simple enough that Dr Poison would "hire" the goons saying all they had to do was take these devices to these locations and so she didn't have to pay the goons she set all of them off after they got to where they needed as for where Diana is hope when Alan next hears from her she has just captured Dr Poison or she's at least found where she is and tells Alan and Cassie to meet her there
Needless to say love having a little preview with the lovely Raven of one of there mental link sessions from the looks of it and nice little statement form Alan there basically saying the things he focuses remembering on are his loved ones like her and also shame that gust of wind didn't blow Ravens cloak open earlier in the scene treating Alan and us to the visual of a naked Raven just wearing her cloak all the sooner haha anyway nice that we got a kiss and the lovely visual at the end what a tease though haha
Also shame that Alan won't bring Bizarro to a Kent family diner as for when he acknowledges
Okay so for the fight with Zod I still think Alan should also change the logo on the Kryptonian suit from the House of El logo to his own personal bat sigil because even if the S is the most important symbol to the people of Metropolis that in no way means Alan has to wear the symbol when he's saving them I mean heroes don't change their logos when their saving people in another heroes city do they
Again I just think Alan still accepting the Kryptionian suit and changing it to suit his preferences in colour and logo shows that while he accepts his Kryptonian side he accepts it on his terms and his not going to display the sigil of the House of El he will display his own sigil a sigil that means way more to him personally than the S crest does who cares if the people he's saving care more about the S than his own bat logo
Haha well I hope Alan does get to beat the shit out of Owlman and Ultraman when they and the syndicate land in Alan's Earth as for the Earth 3 Donna who lets just call Troia and Superwoman her and this worlds Donna are equally down bad fro Alan Troia might just be far more up front with it
Needless to say after the syndicate arent sent packing hope Troia is the only one to stay in this universe to be one of Alan's rogues and lovers and with her and Grail it would be funny I think if Alan just muses on if he's catnip for evil Amazon's haha but yeah Troia ditches the syndicate for being a bunch of losers in her eyes and finding the pursuit of Alan far more entertaining than any of her playthings back on her earth
Okay well when Alan does get his levels of super strength considering who he is and his training he should easily be able to control his level of strength also do find it odd that Alan could go three years as a hero without being part of the world ending event because again those things happens at least like once a year in the comic universes haha well world ending events should still have occurred it's just that the Justice League dealt with them and Alan was left behind each time like all the other young heroes where
Been meaning to give this suggestion to and that's how Alan picked the name Robin I mean in canon Dick picked that name for himself because it was his families nickname but I thought for Alan's reason he could have just been sat out in the Wayne manor garden one cold morning just drinking tea admiring the scenery thinking of what his code name could be and while sat there a Robin just landed perched on his finger and Alan just went well guess I'll pick the name Robin haha
Oh yeah and happy to hear that Alan is a singular being in the multiverse no other versions of him
Do think it would be interesting if Alan did become the conduit for one of the other universal forces Alan would be great with any of the three
Glad to hear it.
She is always like that when they are together, he just hates when she does it in public.
Now, he just hates to be pinned down or tied up because that happened relatively often in his first year as Robin which made develop a deep hatred for it.
Not yet since they still have to locate her.
Unfortunately no, but now mother and son will figure it out together once they make the goons talk.
Minor spoiler, that actually happened after they had a fight with Trigon and they were in the ruins of Azarath.
He thought about it, but he rather avoid a scolding from Lois.
In truth, Alan absolutely despite that outfit and he wears it as little as possible, which is kind of why he doesn't actually changes the symbol. (It actually comes up in a conversation with Starfire.)
{
S: "You could make other changes to the costume, like the symbol."
A: "I don't wanna wear that outfit anymore than what I already have to and I will happily destroy it as soon as this idiotic farce ends."
S: (Koriand'r folded her arms and looks at him apprehensively while she was on top of him.)
A: "Don't give me that look, I made no secret that I didn't want to do this.
}
His fight against the two will happen when Alan is already full fledged superhero of his own . (Mostly his fight with Ultraman as it will show how much his abilities has revolved when it comes to using his powers.)
Not quite.
That is partially the case, major events, Alan usually just stayed behind since he didn't had the experience to deal with it. (But major stuff like Darkside, Braniac or the other top cases hasn't occurred yet, but other stuff did they just weren't of large scale.)
The origin of the name Robin actually changed a lot over the years. The story of how the name came will be told in a conversation later.
When he does goes to other universes, he is actually surprised that he is the only version of himself. Though, he actually notices that the other Superboy had a similar but completely different origin to him.
Yeah...
Coool!
COOOOLLLLLLL!
