The next day, Asta woke up from his nap and then had breakfast with Toga. "So Toga, what are you going to stream today?" he asked her. "I play more horror games with my face mask on again. I still can't believe I became a famous streamer in a year." "Well, they do like your cute personality and antics." Asta said, half minded, not seeing Toga's blushing hard. "Okay, then I get ready for the stream, so I better get going." "Sure Toga, I'm going to Takoba beach with Liebe to clean the trash away and train." Once Asta puts away the dishes, he opens the door leading out Liebe, then closes the door and locks up. When they got to Takoba beach, they saw something new, two people in the middle of the garbage dump of a beach both had blonde hair, noted.

With confusion in their eyes, they approached the two strangers. "Well, what do we have here, I didn't expect people to be here, especially how this place became a dump." The two blondes look back, and Asta recognizes the male but not the female. "Oh hey, there, young Asta. I didn't know that you came here as well." "Ya hi there, I'm Melissa Shield. Nice to meet you." "Well, I'm Asta, and this is my dog Liebe (bark)." "We have been going here to clean up this beach every weekend for almost two years now." "That's very impressive, Asta, but even so, this place is a mess." Melissa said while looking around. "So why are you here for Mr.?"

"Oh, what was my manner? My name is Toshinori Yagi, so just call me Toshi, and it's okay, Melissa, to talk about One for All. He already knows about it. And why we are here is to train her for One for All by cleaning this beach." Melissa approaches Liebe, asking Asta if she can pet him, Asta nods with a smile Liebe (Woof) in happiness. After all that happens, both get to hear Yagi's American dream plan, Asta wishing her luck with that and going off with Liebe to clean the beach separating some old machine from the pile of trash then scraping the metal off and putting it in their pile. Seeing this, Yagi and Melissa ask Asta what he is doing with the scrap metal, wires, and circuits pile.

"Oh, this Mei wants me to do it like this when she gets here." "Who is Mei?" Melissa goes to say but gets cut off by a yell.

"Hey, there Ashy hair. I'm here to get the parts for our babies."

The two blondes are slack jaws from that when Asta sees this and explains. "Oh, she calls her invention her babies because she wants to go to the support course at U.A." They snapped out of it in realization. "Hi there, I'm Hatsume Mei, the future CEO of ." While looking at the two blondes, she pays more attention to the female and then recognizes her, and she turns back at Asta complaining to him. "Hey, what's the big idea? Are you cheating on me with another inventor special with a shield family member, one of my competitors, to beat?" (She sounds like his girlfriend)

Asta looks at Mei in confusion, then something clicks.

Wait a minute, Melissa, you're an inventor yourself. I thought you were training to be a hero? Melissa blinked for a moment before responding. Um, yeah, I am an inventor back at I Island, I can still make gear. (I-Island the man-made Island) Well, that's awesome you can make yourself gears then. She is surprised and expects he will ask to make some gear for himself like the others, but he doesn't.

While Yagi is thinking about how this looks like a classic love drama. Mei finally calms down, knowing Asta won't leave her. (This sounds out of context) Melissa asks how he met Mei, and Asta tells her. Flashback less than two years ago Asta and Liebe went to Takoba Beach for the first time to see how much of a dump it was.

Ok Liebe, you can look for any bones or dog toys you can find while I'm going to train carrying the old machine and then trying to recycle here.

After a few hours of training, they both have a break. Once they get back to work, Asta notices a pink-haired dreadlocks girl at the pile of scrap metal. Hey there, what are you doing? Huh, oh hey there, you must be the one who did this, huh? Then she got up close to his face, but Asta didn't blush like a simp. He kept his face straight, looking at her back. I'm Asta and my dog Liebe.

That's right there where the pile of bones is at. Well, I'm Hatsume Mei, an inventor and Hatsume. corp. Do you want to see my babies? Sure, so what have you made then? Mei was stunned at how he didn't freak out from her usual demeanor, so she showed some of her gear and talked about more ideas for her babies. Asta talks about how he wants to be a hero but doesn't know what gear he needs.

So Mei agreed to help him by giving her the material he was scraping.

Flashback ended. Melissa now knows how these two met, and they act toward each other.

Hey Ashy, I saw you on TV beat that villain made of sludge or something. Oh, right, Toga mentioned that before, apparently, they were talking about me because I'm quirkless. Ok, then, now you three are done with this drama. Here, we get back to what we were doing, right?

"You're right, . I have to help Mei get these parts to her house anyway." "No, I came here to build my babies at this place."

"Oh, really, what's the occasion?" Melissa asked. Oh, nothing important (in truth, her family wouldn't stop bugging her about Asta being more than a business partner). Well, then we all get back to business. How about you three?

They get back what they're doing, and Mei starts setting up her workstation. In the afternoon, Melissa, taking her break from training, goes to Mei's workstation to see how she makes her "babies." "So Mei, how many of your gear have Asta tryouts?" "To be honest, I lost count. They usually blow up, and people who try them don't want to do it anymore."

"But Asta didn't give up, and he kept going even though he got burned. When I asked him why, he said that it didn't matter how many times my babies didn't work. As long as you can keep going, you can't fail."

"So Asta is the type of person who doesn't give up on anything." Melissa said to Mei. "Ya, and that's why you can't take him from me."

"I'm not taking anyone from you, Mei. Anyway, let's talk about something else." Melissa talked to Mei until Asta came back with something to say. Hey guys, I found something interesting. The girls follow Asta to a certain part of the beach once there they see what he is talking about. It was a whole van shrouded by trash. Melissa asked first "Why is there a van here, and who will throw it here at all?"

Mei has a better question "Can I fix that? I want to call it Hatsume mobile." (Better is questionable.) "Well, you can do that, but first we dig it out, and I have no clue who left it here." So the three of them dig out trash for an hour, and now the van is being pushed around back where they were before the two girls were tired and Asta was still ready to go. "Why are you not tired?" "Oh, that's because I learned that I'm quirkless. I have been training my body ever since." "Okay, that makes some sense, so Mei, do you still want to fix this van?"

"Yes, I am because I want to take my station wherever we go, right, Ashy?" "Oh, look at the time, I'm going to get to work. I'm going to take Liebe back home and then head to Uraraka's construction, so goodbye for now. See you guys tomorrow." Asta waves back while leaving with Liebe. "Wait a minute, he has a job on the weekends." Melissa said this with a sweat drop on her head. "Ya, he works every day without taking a day off." After leaving Liebe back at home with Toga, he went straight to Uraraka's construction site when he checked in and dressed in his uniform. His coworkers say good job on that villain attack and how he will make a great hero. Asta thanks them all and meets with Ochako to work on the wooden floor. "Hi Ochako, How are the wooden floors so far?" "It's doing great. I never guessed I'd have a chance to work here. Maybe it's because of you."

"What did I do? I just wanted a job and that is the best opinion remember."

Asta walked towards the Urarakas for a job, and now he was waiting for his interview.

Okay, , it's time to start your interview. After he was done with the interview, he went to the front door, but a girl his age ran into him. "Hey, you okay? Here, let me pick you up." "Oh, thanks. Sorry for running into you. I'm Uraraka Ochako." "Well, I'm Asta, and I got a job here." Ochako blinked at that and went straight to her parents complaining about how someone her age could get work here and not her. After a few minutes, they talked back and forth, and then Asta walked towards them. Hey, I don't think it's bad that she can work, especially since it can help her with building up stamina. Her parents agree with him and Ochako to work, and the two become friends later.

Hey Asta-kun, can you pass me some of those nails? Oh sure, here. So, has something interesting happened today?

Mei and I got a whole van out of the trash with help from Melissa. Ochako flinched at that, almost hitting her finger with the hammer. Who is Melissa, Asta-kun? She is just a friend I made today at Takoba Beach. Is that so? Ochako says while staring at Asta that he is working on something else. Thinking about how many girls he knows. Afterward, they put in their hours and finished working for the day. Hey Asta-kun, can I ask you something? Yes, Ochako, what is it? Can I have a sleepover at your apartment tomorrow night? Ok, then I have to get some snacks for it. Asta finished checking out and headed home. Once in his apartment, he met up with Toga, who was waiting for him to eat dinner together. So Asta, how is training going for you? Oh, it's great I met someone new today. That sounds good for you now. You and Mei could get along with him. Him? Melissa is a girl. Toga flinched while tightening her fist. Is that so? One more thing, Ochako wants to have a sleepover here. Willy, it's been a while since the last time she was here.

Flashback Ochako knocked, and Toga opened the door, then both stairs at one another before speaking.

Get back here Liebe you need to take a bath. Oh, hi, Ochako, sorry about this. Hey Toga, can you keep her company? I'm going to get Liebe back. After Asta left the two girls sitting at the dinner table and started talking. So, how long have you been living with him?

About six months now, and how long have you been his friend? Seven months. Let's get to the point you like, Asta, don't you? Ochako blushed at that bold statement. If I say yes, what are you going to do about it? Nothing because I'm going to win his heart first. Oh ya, I've known him longer than you.

When things started to heat up, Asta slammed open the door with Liebe in his arms. Hey guys, I'm back now. Liebe, you are going to take a bath right now. You smell a good thing. You're out of juice to use that quirk.

You know what it's going to take longer because of how Asta is. Ochako nods in agreement. Flashback ended, so Asta, what are you planning to get for your sleepover tomorrow night? I guess some bags of chips, drinks, and candies. Based on what activities you two are going to do? The two of us Toga, you're a part of this because you live here with me.

Oh, is that so I thought you would leave me in my room alone. Come on, Toga, I can't leave out the picture. You need to make more friends for you to feel lonely when I'm not here.

Toga feels touched by that and knows he is right. The only person she gets to interact with is Asta and his dog Liebe.

Thank you, Asta, for helping with this. Okay then, let's get ready for tomorrow night. The next day at Takoba Beach, Asta was finishing up cleaning the part of the beach before he left. He remembered the sleepover. Hey guys, I want to ask you girls something. Ya Asta, what is it? Sure, Ashy, what do you need to try out for a new baby? Not this time. I just want to know if you girls want to come to my place tonight.

(Very smooth there Asta) "Wait a minute we just met yesterday this is too sudden." Melissa panicked while Mei looked confused. "It's just a sleepover." I think it's that bad. "Oh, a sleepover. I've never been to one." "Me either, Ashy."

"Don't you have friends back at I-Island?" She frowned at that. "I guess it's mostly my fault. I was too dictated with my intentions." "Same for me with my babies." "Okay, then you both are going to my place and have fun at the sleepover. You can bring whatever you want tonight." The blond looked back towards her uncle"Just go with him, Melissa. You need to hang out with people your age." "Ok uncle, I guess I'm going." "I'm going as well so we can talk about ideas for my babies."

"Alright then, see you girls tonight. Here is my address. Bye." Later at the construction site. Hey, Ochako, do you mind if I invite other people to the sleepover? It's fine Asta-kun, the more the merrier now help me with this support beam. Afterward, they head to Asta's place because he wants to take Liebe out for a walk to the store.

"Ok, then Ochako, I would like you to meet Mei and Melissa." "Oh hey, Mei, I heard a lot from you and Melissa. He just met you." "Well, it's nice to meet you too, and do Ashy talk about our babies?" Ochako froze when Melissa saw this and explained that she was talking about her invention, and she calmed down afterward. "Well, I'm going to get some snacks now. Come on, Liebe (Woof), text me if you want something."

Now, the four girls are in the living room wondering what to do now. "So let's start talking about what you are going to do in the future."

Ochako finally spoke up. "I'm planning to go to the U.A. for the hero program with Asta-kun."

"Well I'm going to be a transfer student at U.A. for the second year." Melissa says next. "And I Hatsume Mei am going to the U.A. as a support course student." "I'm just going to take the general course myself." Toga spoke last.

Meanwhile, Asta and Liebe shopped at the store, but they had a little problem.

"Man, can't these three separate street gangs were planning to rob this store? Oh, there were seven members left." "Liebe you can deal with them now. Don't go too far." Asta told Liebe while he walked back in the store.

Liebe goes out of the store and then starts charging up his red electricity, his eyes glowing red and charges at them, and then they yell out in pain.

Back to the girls, "I wonder what's taking Asta-kun so long." Ochako complained, "Maybe let's turn on the TV and watch something interesting." Melissa spoke up. One of them turns on the TV to see headlines about Asta and Liebe beating around thirty-five gang members at the store nearby. "It hasn't been three days since the last time he was on TV. " Toga muttered.

All the girls realize that he is going to take a while to get back with the snacks.
