Niagara Falls

"HIYAH!" Azu's boot slammed down onto the pavement, Sealifea jumping back with the sounds of the large waterfall in the distance, Azu spin kicking towards her, the monster of the week catching it before sending a torrent of water at her, pushing her back, Andah catching her by the boots and, with an image of a compressed grasshopper leg overlaying her arm, shot her back forwards, Sealifea crossing her arms as Azu slashed with her sidearm in blade mode.

"TAKE THIS!" Sealifea diverted water from the falls at Nazu and Ziga, who were attempting to sneak up behind her.

The two's eyes widened before they jumped out of the way, Sealifea jumping out of the way and letting Azu get hit by the torrent of water, knocking her into Andah again.

"Gosh dang it, it's like she has eyes in the back of her head!" Azu groaned as she got up.

"With how crazy monsters get, you think she can see via water or something?" Nazu asked, getting over to help her up.

"Sentai expert," Azu said on comms to Slavi. "Do Sentai MOTWs get that crazy?"

"Ummm yeah. Usually on their like, 34th-ish mission?"

"Aren't we only on like…number twelve?"

"Yeah so I don't think that's what's going on, maybe she could sense something but it's not fully Elemental Sight." Slavi tried to explain while dodging further attacks.

"So invisibility should still work?"

"Probably!"

"Alright. Yellow, Pink, Ryumucards!" Azu commanded.

"Yes ma'am." Ziga saluted.

"As you wish.~" Slavi hissed happily, Azu rolling her eyes.

Ziga and Slavi took out data key-card-like devices resembling the ones they used to transform.

One had the image of the kanji for "Stealth" and the other for "Flash," each having stripes in the colors of the ones holding them.

[STEALTH/FLASH!]

They inserted the cards into a slot on their morphers, then pressed a button representing energy.

[STEALTH ROARYAL BUZZ/FLASH ROARYAL BUZZ!]

Sealifea had to shield her eyes as a bright flash of light emitted from the pink ranger, the water falling to the river below again.

With that, four of the rangers launched themselves at Sealifea from all sides with their sidearms in blade mode. She barely had time to raise her arms in front of her face.

An explosion of energy happened in the four colors of red, blue, green, and pink, and when the smoke cleared, the four were tossed aside, only for Sealifea to feel the sidearm, the Ryubiter, pressed against her back in gun mode.

[ROARYAL BUZZING BLAST!]

Sealifa tensed up, twisting to try and defend herself, moving too late, roaring in pain as the shot slammed into her, sending her skidding across the rapids.

Ziga reappeared, summoning her tonfas. "Strike like lightning." She quoted, chuckling.

Slavi wolf whistled. Azu rolled her eyes. "C'mon, guys, there wasn't an explosion, the battle's not over."

"What, we can't spend a bit of time admiring teammates?" Andah wrapped an arm around Ziga, who chuckled.

"Funny." Ziga deadpanned before the five turned towards Sealifea.

"Oh hey, Power Rangers!" Some nearby passerby called out.

"WE'RE NOT POWER RANGERS!" Azu called back.

"Would be cool, though." Slavi thought.

"Aren't they the same thing, just with different names?" Nazu questioned.

"Can we remain on topic here!?" Azu groaned. The five nodded, looking towards the rapids to spot Sealifea. The rapids began to rise and lash out like whips at the rangers. "EVERYONE OUT!" Azu called out, the team jumping out of the way.

Azu pressed her hands together, flares sparking before she flung them forward, sending a small stream of fire towards a water whip, turning it to steam before she got out her Monarch Hilt, activating the sword.

Sealifa let out another scream, this time of effort as the waterfall itself started to move.

The five rangers' eyes widened.

"BLUE, YELLOW!" Azu called out as the waterfall starting shooting towards them like a hydro pump.

The two, getting what their leader was implying, nodded, Nazu's gauntlets glowing as he held his arms out, groaning as he strained himself to stop the large attack.

Ziga crossed her arms, turning to the side before shooting her right arm with her pointer and middle fingers extended, shooting out a bolt of lightning through the waterfall.

"AHHHHHHHH!" Sealifa screamed out in pain again, then suddenly, the waterfall froze.

"What?" Azu stood up.

Ziga jumped on top of the frozen waterfall, looking for the monster…only to see nothing. "...got away."

"Dammit!" Azu groaned, looking to her morpher to call it in as men in red uniforms ride up on horses. "Boss, any reads on her new location?"

"She jumped to Sea World, in California!"

"Alright, everyone, let's go!" Azu said to the others, everyone pressing a button on their morphers as they teleported in bursts of light in their respective colors made of clusters of their own insects.

Sea World, California

The gang teleported near the Orca Encounter, standing outside the place where people gathered in seats to watch the killer whales.

"Alright, everyone, keep an eye out." Azu commanded. "You see any sign of Sealifea, you let the rest of us know."

"God she's got a lot to work with in a place like this." Andah groaned.

"Yeah. Though thankfully she seems to, like other monsters of the week, wanna avoid civilian casualties. Still be careful, though." Azu ordered.

"Dang… I was meaning to come back here, but not like this…" Nazu groaned.

"Oh you've been here before?" Ziga asked.

"Yeah. Took the kids here before my arrest, they loved it." Nazu smiled nostalgically behind his helmet.

"Heh…I went to something like this…a while ago." Ziga smiled a bit, memories of jumping into rivers, pools, and playing with giant sea creatures with Amy and Atlia running through her mind.

"Really? The great stoic Ziga had fun?" Nazu teased her.

"Oh fuck off." Ziga pushed him playfully.

"Ah I'm just teasing, I'm glad you have someone to open up with outside the team." Nazu shoved her back.

Ziga smiled. "Yeah…" She spoke, Amy's smiling face in her mind, as well as their conversation earlier.

"Where do you think she went?" Andah asked.

"Bodies of water. She doesn't appear to be able to shapeshift into other people." Azu answered. "Use your HUDs to scan for any anomalies in the water or possibly any marine life."

"On it… There! In the Orca tank." Ziga pointed.

"Then let's move out!" Azu patted Ziga on the back sincerely and the group headed there.

Inside the Orca Encounters exhibit, people cheered as the orca showed up. Meanwhile, the team had arrived in the shadows, Nazu taking aim with his crossbow.

'And…FIRE!' Nazu fired…right at the orca.

Explosions went off, the crowd gasping and panicking…

Only for the orca to shriek, changing back to Sealifea. The crowd screamed and rushed to the exits. Andah and Slavi held open the doors to help everyone get out while the primary colored rangers leapt in front of the tank, bringing out their weapons.

"Surrender." Azu told Sealifea, who clutched her stomach in pain.

"I'm… Just getting started." She growled.

[ROARING MONARCH SLASH/EMPEROR SHOOT/HELVIA STRIKE!]

"So are we." Azu responded, jumping into the air to unleash a flaming cross slash at the same time as Nazu unleashed a high pressure blast, Ziga striking with her tonfas covered in lightning.

Sealifea crossed her arms, barely shooting out of the water in time, the resulting explosion shooting her higher into the air, Azu flying at her, entering a sword lock with her as Sealifea formed a water sword, the two spinning around in the air, clashing blades over and over again.

Andah spun her yoyo around and around fast enough to create a small green tornado that sought out the water monster as its target. Sealifa held up her arms, crying out in pain as the attacks hit.

This gave Azu the opportunity to throw her onto the surface behind Nazu and Ziga, the three leaping at Sealifea, who took a deep breath, using a few hand motions, then created a gigantic projection of a Killer Whale that then flew right at the three rangers, devouring them and bringing them into the tank.

"SHIT SHIT SHIT!" Slavi raced into the tank just as Andah wrapped her yoyo around an escaping Sealifea.

"No ya don't!" Andah grinned, yanking her towards her, Sealifea roaring out as the water from the ENTIRETY OF THE TANK lifted up and joined with the orca projection, creating a larger construct with the three primary rangers inside. "Oh shit."

"RED! BLUE! YELLOW!" Slavi called out.

Azu gestured to Nazu, who nodded, taking out a Ryumucard.

Andah leapt towards Sealifea, sending an aerial roundhouse towards her.

Nazu, in a split second, scanned the Ryumucard, "GEYSER! G-G-G-GEYSER!" echoing from his weapon throughout the water.

Just as Sealifea prepared to counter Andah, a large geyser blasted at the sea monster, sending her straight into the path of Andah's boot. The kick slammed into Sealifa's head and sent her flying into the stands.

The construct dissipated, the three primary rangers landing on the ground, Azu ruffling her wings.

"Nice one, Blue!" Andah grinned, patting his shoulder.

"It was Red's plan." Nazu elbowed Azu, who blushed slightly.

"Ok, enough with the compliments." She smiled under her helmet before being hugged by Slavi.

"Glad you're ok!" Slavi hissed happily.

Azu blushed harder, to the amusement of the others.

With a roar, the water rose back up.

Sealifea performed some hand motions, eyes glowing before she slammed her hands to the ground, the water taking on the form of some chimera of sea monsters.

"...fuck." Azu muttered, everyone diving out of the way as it chased after em.

Sealifa launches a wave at the team, not depleting the orca tank via taking water from the air.

"BLUE! GREEN!"

Nazu and Andah's visors glowed their own colors before they took hold of their weapons, Nazu using his crossbow to take slight control of the wave while Andah spun her yoyo around fast around to create an air barrier.

After a moment or two, the wave died down.

"Okay now… She left again didn't she…" Azu groaned behind her helmet.

"Picking her up in… Venice, Italy. Wow she jumped far this time."

"Is it possible she can teleport through water?" Azu asked.

"Would make sense, very annoying as the planet is 70% water."

"Then we need to prevent her from getting into bodies of water. Alright, teleport us there, I got a plan."

"Sending you in."

Venice, Italy

Venice, the city filled with water. A city filled with canoes, tourists, had some guy who talks to spirits who got chased and attacked by a guy with stolen dragons and stupid hair, the works.

The five rangers appeared in a flash of their colors on a rooftop.

"Alright, HUD scans up." Azu commanded.

"It had to be Venice, where most of the roads are water…" Nazu groaned.

"Don't worry, I have a plan." Azu assured him, patting his shoulder.

"I'm sure it'll be great." Slavi smiled, hugging her.

Azu blushed. "Th-thanks."

"Okay so what do we do?" Andah asked.

"We drag her out of the water and onto land, first." Azu stated. "Then you and Pink tie her up. I'll pour on the heat to dry her. Blue will be on standby in case she tries any water attacks. Yellow, you'll be shocking her on my signal."

"Sounds good, let's do this!"

"Alright. HUDs!"

The rangers tapped the sides of their helmets, scanning the rivers, each of em jumping or flying across rooftops, scanning for movement in the water that didn't match normal.

"Where are you…" Azu muttered. Her mask suddenly beeped, showing passersby pointing up at her team. Her mask worked on translating.

"A ranger! A ranger!" One of the passerby called out. "Like the Sentai!"

"...guess some people out here know of Sentai?" Azu muttered.

"Oh, there's a Sentai operating out of here." Shizuka told her.

"...In Italy."

"Yeah."

"...a Sentai…in Italy."

"Yeah, what of it?"

"...I have so many questions for when we get back."

"I may or may not have answers."

Azu rolled her eyes. "Any luck, guys?"

"Some weird movement near town square." Nazu called in.

"Alright, everyone prepare to meet there."

"Roger!" Everyone responded.

A few minutes later, everyone gathered on roofs surrounding the town square.

"Alright, where is it?" Azu asked. Soon enough, her HUD got a message which highlighted an area in the water. "Bingo…"

"Alright, let's do this!" Andah called out.

"Blue, geyser, Green, swarm. Use those to send her into the air, then Green'll reel her in and tie her up with her yoyo and we execute our plan. Ready!?" Azu called authoritatively.

"READY!" They echo back, Nazu and Andah flashing their Ryumucards, Andah's showing a swarm of grasshoppers.

[G-G-G-GEYSER!]

[S-S-S-SWARM!]

In the body of water, a swirl started to form. It got faster and faster, bigger and bigger, civilians looking on in concern before green energy grasshoppers floated in as a geyser shot up, the swarm surrounding it and aiming the geyser through the air.

The geyser smashed into a rooftop, Sealifea groaning, rubbing her head before yelping as she was tied up by Andah's yoyo, some vines growing and wrapping around her.

[MAGMA ROARYAL BUZZ!]

Magma constructs appearing in the air in the shape of a butterfly and dragon, flying around Sealifea, steam rising from her and drying up the water on the roof around her.

"Oh shit-" She groaned, coughing.

"YELLOW!" Azu called out. Ziga slams the card into her weapon

[THUNDER! TONFA! BUZZ!]

Her tonfas lit up, constructs modelled after a real life mantis' blades appearing over her weapons.

"TONFA MANTISHOCK!" Ziga yelled out, leaping into the air and sending a large lightning bolt towards Sealifea, the bolt taking the form of a large construct mantis. The mantis blades caused lightning to course through Sealifa, causing her to scream out in pain.

As Sealifa screamed, an icey blue lightning bolt slammed into her from above, creating an explosion of snow. Ziga looked up as snowflakes swirled around her, wondering what had caused it.

Soon enough, they dissipated, and Sealifea…was gone.

"...¡Hijo de puta!" Azu yelled out, stomping on the rooftop. "I swear to Zea I'm going to fucking grab that slippery eel by the neck and strangle her with her FUCKING SPINE!"

"Deep breaths, fearless leader." Slavi hugged her, stroking her helmet.

"Ok~" Azu blushed, snuggling on instinct.

"Awww~" Andah cooed, Azu flipping her off in response.

"Where'd she go?" Ziga asked Shizuka over comms.

"I think she had help."

"Lunatsuki…" Ziga muttered.

"Got her next location."

"This is gonna take forever at this rate…" Azu muttered even as Slavi stroked her back.

"Hey, as soon as we're done, we can cuddle at base, ok?" Slavi whispered, Azu turning pink.

"Ok."

"Let's go, then!" Ziga exclaimed.

Several chase and fight scenes later, the team met back up at base.

"Fucking slippery little eel bastard…" Azu muttered.

"Zea dangggg why does she keep getting awayyyy!" Andah groaned.

"She was leading us all on a wild goose chase would be my wager." Ziga guessed. "Her energy just suddenly disappeared, so I guess the chase was done."

"So Lunatsuki must be stalling for something but we still don't know WHERE." Azu groaned, rubbing her head.

"Let's go over what we do know, yeah?" Ziga suggested. "Lunatsuki, if this is her, has been going after the founders of HENSHIN, each a powerful individual, and she always gets em frozen. Doesn't kill them, kidnaps them."

"Now she recruited a Hoshukan monster to her cause, whatever it is." Azu noted.

"And Sealifea, said monster, has been leading us on some wild goose chase so Lunatsuki could do something." Nazu added.

"And she's vanished now." Andah leaned forward, hand on her chin. "Completely vanished off the radar…"

"Which means they're ready for the next stage…" Ziga groaned.

"..." Slavi's eyes widened. "...no…no they…oh of course…"

"What?" Azu looked at her. "What is it?"

"...long stretch, but…given our line of work…" Slavi looked to Ziga. "Ziga…Lunatsuki was buried, right? Body found, buried, casket and everything, no room for argument that she died?"

"Yeah." Ziga nodded.

"How difficult is resurrection in your world?"

"Well, like your world, there are ways of doing it, but it's a VERY difficult task and VERY easy to screw up, hence why most methods and books on how to do it were locked away." Ziga explained.

"Would you say it takes a lot more power than an individual typically has access to?"

"..." Ziga started realizing what Slavi was implying. "...you're saying-"

"Incomplete resurrection." Slavi answered. "She needs the founders to complete it."

"Of course!" Ziga smacked her own head. "How did I not see it!?"

"What? What is it?" Azu asked.

"What place would have a connection to Lunatsuki, that would be great for channeling power, and we'd need to be kept away from for a bit?" Ziga asked.

The other three rangers thought…

Then their eyes widened.

"Oh…" Andah started.

"You have…" Slavi muttered.

"Gotta be…" Nazu groaned.

"Fricking…" Ziga leaned back, groaning in annoyance.

"KIDDING ME!" Azu yelled out.

The five stood in front of the temple in Nepal where they first encountered Sealifea.

"IT'S RIGHT BACK WHERE WE STARTED!?" Azu screamed.

"Azu, hun, you've yelled that five times now, are you okay?" Slavi asked gently.

"That little shark bitch had us chasing her all over the goddamn planet and all along IT WAS RIGHT HERE!" Azu yelled, and if she were organic would probably pop a blood vessel right now, steam pouring out of her ears. "I swear to Zea when we find her I'm going to ####### and ####### with a ####### followed by ###### her in the ########## WITH A GODDAMN PIG!"

Everyone stared at the panting, angry Azu, her eye twitching.

Nazu, overwhelmed by the sheer…vulgarity of what happened, along with hearing swear words he didn't even know existed, fainted.

Andah, surprised and …having other reactions to this, stared with naked lust in her eyes.

Ziga's jaw dropped so hard she'd give a certain genie a run for his money.

"Ooooookay, how about we leave the poor innocent pigs alone and just capture her and I'll give you a nice big hug?" Slavi suggested.

"...that sounds nice…" Azu muttered, blushing. Slavi patted her back.

The group, after Ziga woke Nazu up, proceeded inside the secret entrance, guards, and hackles, raised.

…

A bit later, going through the earlier path, but along with some disarmed new traps, the five made it, finding a massive central chamber with several people encased in ice.

"Alright…you ready?" Azu asked Ziga.

"...Ready as I can be." Ziga confirmed, the two bumping wrists.
