Chapter three

The next morning Harry was up making breakfast for everyone. Just then; Lilith had got up and headed downstairs. "Daddy?" She said, she went into the kitchen and saw him. She went right to him and hugged his legs, "Morning Daddy." He looked down at her and knelt to pick her up.

"Good morning Princess," he said, as he walked into the dining room. Just then Jade was looking for Lilith and rushed into the dining room.

"There you are." She said, "You came down looking for your daddy?" Lilith nodded.

"Sorry, Auntie Jade." Jade grabbed her in a big hug.

"It's alright, Munchin." She said, then Lily had come down.

"Good morning," she said as she kissed Lilith.

"Morning Granma," she said.

"Where's Harry?"

"Daddy's in the kitchen. Making breakfast" Lily went in to see her son whipping up some breakfast. He had already made some bacon and gave Lilith a piece. She happily ate it.

"Harry?" Said Lily.

"Yes, Ma'am?" He said she walked into the kitchen.

"Did you sleep well?"

"Yeah, still in pain a little."

"Because of the artifacts?"

"Yeah."

"What do they do again?"

"The one on my chest is torso armor, the rings of runes on my biceps mark my strength, my ankles are speed boosts, and on my forehead is my telepathy, which can turn enemies into stone."

"And they were embedded into you?"

"Yep and if I wasn't 'pure of heart', it would have killed me."

"Killed you?"

"Yeah, you see they have a failsafe spell on them."

"So, if you weren't pure of heart you'd die?"

"Yeah. That's about it."

"I see," she went to help him with breakfast. After breakfast, they had received a guest. It was another goddess. This one was cat-like, dressed in Egyptian robes and jewelry, and had golden eyeliner around her eyes. She was with an adorable little girl who looked like her and had Harry's eyes.

"Harry?" The woman said Harry peeked his head out from the kitchen. He looked up to see her and smiled.

"Bastet! Selena!" He went over to hug them, he picked up Selena and hugged her.

"DADDY!" She said, then he sat her down next to Lilith. Who in turn hugged her. Lily looked at the scene and was surprised.

"Who is…?"

"My daughter with another goddess. Her name's Selena," he motioned to Bastet. "And this is her mother, Bastet; Egyptian goddess of cats."
