Well, I'm gonna be seventeen soon, which is one year away from being a full-on adult. Wow I feel old.

Honestly, my life as a sixteen year old has been quite crazy. There's been a lot of ups and downs, and not just in my wanted hobbies to write and draw. My life in general has been a really wild roller coaster. It's been much wilder than my life as a fifteen year old teenager, but that's a pretty strong comparison to make. Right now, I'm still scared about growing up and leaving it all behind, but at the same time I think I'm ready for the next few steps of my life. High school and college are gonna occupy my life a lot in the future though, and I might maybe even start working on finding a job in two years.

Hi there, and welcome back to this little journal of mine! Didn't expect to see me back here, did you? Well, neither did I. Just thought I'd give you a little update on what's going on around here. Lots has been happening, especially in terms of me trying to progress in stuff. It's been hard, especially now that I'm off to high school soon, the bigger ranks of the double numbers, if you get my drift. Seriously though, it's been hard. Not a very pleasant time.

First off, the harder bits. Ever since the summer began a few weeks ago, I surprisingly haven't had any time to work on my own projects, including fanfictions, learning art, among other stuff. It was all because of a stupid mistake I made. And now that I'm off to my next grade as a high school student of Grade 11 (gulp), I'm probably not gonna have much time to do much. But I have been busy doing a lot over the summer, but I'm not sure a lot of you readers who've been waiting for my Cuphead fanfictions are gonna like it.

Genshin Impact. And not just for research for a fanfiction. As a 45-level player with low level characters, I've been on a relentless grind for materials. Really makes me feel like a true gamer now (yes, Queen, mobile games count, geez).

But graduation is definitely a deal worth talking about, lemme tell ya. Graduating in a movie theater with such moving speeches will do that to you. Plus, we did a bit of dancing for the end of it, and I still have to check for the small film they made with all the memories we submitted. I submitted two pictures for it, and I screamed happily when I saw it. I really hope I can find it soon. Grade 10 was full of happy memories with friends, and it might help me be a little more calm about my transition to the next higher level of my life.

(P.S. Hey. Little update from the future. Grade 11 is amazing so far, and I'm feeling a little more easy about it. Except for Math. Fricking Calculus. Just hoping I'll still have time to write my Cuphead fanfics since I've gotten back into Twisted Wonderland and picked back up my fanfiction on that.)

Speaking of writing, I feel like I owe you all an explanation for what's been going on with the progress of my stories so far. Since this is a writing site, I know you guys are curious as to how it's going, especially my biggest project Teen Girl in a Toon World. It's, well… it's going okay. Mostly.

I know you guys are probably concerned about me saying "mostly", but trust me. I'm just going through a lot, emotional and stuff. But that's not important. I'm just going to tell you now that TGiaTW is going to be delayed for probably another couple years since I'm working on a whole bunch of other stuff, like my Twisted Wonderland fanfiction and all, school to deal with, art to try and learn and work on a lot of other stuff I really wanna get around to but I'm somehow too lazy to even start. Like that one Sonic the Hedgehog and Genshin Impact fanfiction I keep trying to make called Elements of Chaos (oh yeah, that's still a thing) but can't for some dumb reason even though I'm far into the Archon Quests trying to get to fricking Sumeru!

So yeah, basically I'm just trying to do my job as a writer, as an eldest sister, as a future supporter of my family, and a lot of stuff. But I'm also working diligently on Imagination is Power, and the next chapter should be out in a few weeks or months. But I'll try my best to get it out. I just hope you guys are okay with me delaying it… again. I'm so sorry guys, I'm trying, really I am. But I can't make any promises, which I really hate and regret.

ANYWAY, a little more progress I've been making is on, well, not much yet, but I've been thinking of picking up animation again. There's this silly little thing I've been thinking of making with one of my TADC OCs Loony (sorry to those who follow me on Tumblr and see absolutely no info on him), and it's more of an excuse to pick up art again. There's a little concept art piece in my Autodesk Sketchbook of him as a chibi, and I'm excited to show it off soon!

One other excuse I'm trying to give myself to pick up art again is to make a contribution to the Amazing Digital Circus AU on Tumblr of Alice in Wonderland, which is based one of my absolute favorite books. I actually made an art piece of myself in that world (I'm sure Gemwing knows what I'm talking about), and I'm looking to make a bit for the Caucus race with my TADC OCs: a rubber doll, a puppet girl, a glow in the dark plushie, and a LEGO girl. Oh boy, listen to me ramble when I should be working on a book or advance studying or something.

I don't really have much else to say, which is honestly quite shocking. Usually, as you guys all saw in my last entry, I had a lot to say regarding advice I could give you all on writing and creating in general. But since I haven't been doing it in very long, I guess I don't really have a lot to say.

One reason I published this way before my birthday was because… well, like I said, I've been busy with preparing for school lately, so something tells me I won't have much time to do much creating anymore, and that includes writing. So I decided to do the smart option and write as much as I could and publish it immediately as well. But the one thing I find as a huge advantage of this is that I've gotten some practice in writing again, and I can maybe do some more fics again! So I guess you guys can look forward to that!

Also I'm practicing art and considering picking back up my Deviantart account! A lot of animations on YouTube and some on Tumblr have inspired me to learn animation as I tried to a very long time ago. Speaking of content, I've been thinking of picking my YouTube channel back up since I've got a lot of stuff I've still gotta make, and I have been uploading, but they've all been private cause I've been needing to save space on my devices. BUT! I'm trying. And I guess in the end, that's close to the best that I can do.
