"Alright, do your best, Grandpa have to go now, ok?" Grandpa said to her, as he let go of her hand, she now stood in front of the school…She didn't want to walk alone today, so Furue asked her grandpa but now…she feels scared…if she lost control…and hurt someone then…The future she foresaw was unpleasant but Furue, couldn't shake away the fear she felt deep in her heart, she glanced back, to see her grandpa still standing there with a smile on his face, waiting for her to go in.
Slowly…Furue walked backward…but then, a voice soon rang in her ears. "Furue-san! Over here!" Emi-sensei wave at her with her uninjured arm. Furue looked and suddenly, she found herself walking forward instead of backward. Furue didn't know why but she felt like it ok, if Emi-sensei was ok with it then it ok for her to be here.
Soon, after joining Emi-sensei on the walk, they soon found themselves in front of their classroom. Emi-sensei walks in cheerfully. "Hello everyone! How are you feeling today!" The other children greet Emi-sensei cheerfully.
But when Furue walked in, the atmosphere died down…everyone was staring at her warily, and Kensuke-kun was glaring at her with anger. And Nana-chan wants to say something to her but she decides to keep to herself.
Once she took her seat, Emi-sensei slapped her hand on the podium, making the children pay attention to her. "Alright! Before we start, we need to do something first! Kensuke-kun!"
"Yes!" He answers cheerfully, and Emi-sensei smiles at him.
"Please Apologize to Furue-san for hurting her," Emi-sensei said calmly, but Kensuke-kun gasped, feeling surprised by what he just heard.
"Wa-why!? She is the one who hurt you first! She a villain!" He said as if it was a matter of fact. And furue flinch at his words…Villain…he thought of her as a villain… "All Might would do the same! Punishing Villian is-"
"Kensuke-kun." Emi-sensei cut him off before her smile turned into a frown, Kensuke-kun seemed surprised at that and stopped talking. "Do you know why you are in the wrong, at this time?" Kensuke-kun shook his head, for him, he was right the whole time.
"Not only have you injured your classmate, but you also broke the rule of not using a quirk in school or in public without a Hero license. Do you know, the burn you give to Furue-san is going to scar her for the rest of her life?"
"So what! That what a villain get-"
"She is not a villain, She is a student in this class, My student, the same as you. She is your classmate. And if you cannot differentiate that fact then…I'm afraid I need to put you in another class." Emi-sensei said coldly, unlike before When she was always cheerful and smiled all the time, now it was stone cold…Furue didn't like that face of hers, it was better when she smiled.
"W-why! She hurt you! She destroys the classroom!" He protests, trying to find something to make his point.
"That's because she can't control her quirk, and her quirk is just manifest, what more, the only reason she destroyed the classroom is because you hurt her which startled her." At that, Kensuke-kun turned silent, lowering his head and Furue could hear his sniffing.
"...it's not fair…" He whispers out, barely audible enough for everyone to hear.
"All Might would never hurt an Innocent girl." At Emi-sensei's words, Kensuke-kun looked up, only to see Emi-sensei in front of him, smiling, "Because All Might is a Hero, He would never hurt the innocent, but what you did yesterday, is hurting the innocent, Kensuke-kun, But it ok, it a mistake, so Apologize to Furue-san and let learn how to be a true hero, alright?"
At her smile, Kensuke-kun nods a bit before turning to Furue. He walks toward her before extending his hand. "I'm sorry! Please forgive me!" He said as he turned his face away, red in embarrassment.
Furue didn't know what to do, so she looked over at Emi-sensei and she only just nodded and smiled at her. So Furue did what she thought would be right, she shook the hand of Kensuke-kun. "I accept…I'm sorry too…for scaring you." She said, in her normal slow and quiet voice.
He quickly took his hand off her after a minute and walked back to his seat.
"Alright! Now that we clear that, Let us get started on today's class!" Emi-sensei then began to start her class.
TREMIS
The day went by fast, and soon, it was evening already, Furue was talking with Nana-chan when Emi-sensei approached her. "Furue-san, it's time for the counseling." She said lightly and Furue nodded, waving goodbye to Nana-chan as she followed after Emi-sensei.
She takes her to an open field, saying that even if she loses control, she will not hurt or destroy anything.
"Alright! First and foremost! The important step to mastering how to use a quirk is to understand what it is. Now in Furue-san's case, there is no indication that we could use it, we can only hypothesize about and test it! That why! Sensei prepare these for you!" She then opened up the box that was already there and inside, were water balloons. "We will use these balloons to determine the basics of your quirk, and after that, we will work on figuring it out, understand?" Furue nodded and Emi-sensei smiled, she then proceeded to hang the balloons on a hanger making them stay in the air.
She walks back a few paces, enough to probably be out of her range and still close enough to help. "Alright! Please try and activate your quirk!"
Furue nodded at Emi-sensei, now facing the ballons, she used her hand to touch the ballons…but nothing happened, there was nothing changed in the ballon other than the fact that it wobbled lightly due to her touch…Furue forgot something, she didn't know how to use her quirk.
"Sensei…I don't know how to use it." Furue said, her tears starting to gather at the failure, even though she promised, even though she said she would do her best…
"Ahh, right…sensei forgot about this too, ehehe…Why don't you try to focus, Furue-san? Quirk is a part of your body so imagine you using your quirk! Even if nothing happened, there should be a lingering feeling about how to use it! After all, quirk is your own power and only you can discover them. Now, Please try again." Emi-sensei said as she pushed her forward once more, Furue wiped away her lingering tears before she faced the water balloons again.
Her hand warps around the balloon and she closes her eyes, slowly focusing, using the quirk, shaking, shaking…
Slowly, the area she was around started to shake a bit, as the water balloon slowly began to wobble, harder and harder, it slowly distorted into different shapes as it shook around in her hand, until suddenly, it burst, splashing water on Furue.
She stared at her hand, slowly, there was something in her move, an instinct of some kind as her hand moved to another balloon, and this time, without the need to wait, the balloons popped in her face and splashed the water everywhere, it even reaches Emi-sensei's feet.
"Look sensei! I did it! I did it!" furue yelled out, taking the balloon in her hand and making it pop in front of her teacher, getting her wet too.
"Yes! Good job Furue-san! Know, do you know something about your quirk?" Emi-sensei asks and Furue thinks back on her palm, the sensation…the shaking, she looks up and smiles.
"It's shaking! When I wanted to pop the Balloons it was shaking it up!" Furue is chattier than before, it was something she didn't notice but it didn't escape the eye of her teacher.
"I see, so shaking, is it? Alright! Tomorrow, go with your family and register your quirk, alright? Then we can continue our counseling and discover more about your quirk!" Furue tilts her head, quirk registration? What is that? Seeing her confused face, Emi-sensei explains. "Quirk registry is a legal requirement for us, citizens, It will help you a lot and if you want to get into a hero school then you need to register your quirk."
Furue nods at her teacher's words. "Alright, it seems our counseling session will be over for today, can you go back home on your own?" Furue nods and quickly picks up her back, she turns around and waves her hand goodbye to Emi-sensei before quickly rushing home.
That night, she was scolded for getting her clothes wet by Ame-neechan.
TREMIS
A week has passed, and Furue has since registered her quirk and is learning more about it, she knows now that the requirement for activating her quirk is not to touch but to focus on her hand, there seems to be a bit of glow when her quick is activate and once she touches anything with it, they would shake hard.
It seemed to crack even rock since she could easily crush small rocks that she found on the field one day. She needed to be careful since she could injure others easily, Ame-neechan said to not let her power get to her head, Furue didn't understand what she meant but Furue would be careful and promise to not hurt anyone.
She has been careful every day and it was a bit tiring to focus on not accidentally activating her quirk but it worked…she hadn't accidentally activated it for more than 5 days now! She is now able to control her quirk a bit! At the thought of that, her heart jumped lightly at the happy thought.
But there is something weird…Ono-nichan is being…strange? He is quite distant…he still talks to her and all but he seems…rather unfocused, is it because he is tired? Stress? Furue didn't know and Ame-neechan said that it was because his Hero exam was getting closer so he needed to train a lot.
At that, Furue understands, so he is stressed, which is why he is being strangely distant from her.
When Furue reaches her classroom, Nana-chan greets her, along with Yumi-san, a new friend! She made a new friend in the class. When she sits down, Nana-Chan sits next to her, while Yumi-san remains standing as her seat is at the front.
"Furue-Chan, Furue-Chan! Look at this!" Nana-Chan said as she showed her a drawing, it was of the hero she admired, Endeavor. It was a good drawing.
"It's amazing…" Furue said as she returned the drawing, Nana-Chan then took it back and put it back in her drawing book, it seemed, she had already shown Yumi-san, yes, they on the first name basic.
She didn't know why, but it was convenient, so Furue didn't question it, the one who talked to her first was Nana-Chan after all and she said her name so Furue went along with it.
"Furue-San, How is your quirk? Is there any problem?" Yumi-san ask her, making Furue smile a bit.
"It's going OK! I can control them now," she said cheerfully, it seemed she was more cheerful nowadays, it was probably because she had friends.
"Is that so? I'm glad." Yumi-san nods and Nana-Chan sighs.
"ha…I'm jealous! You guys have such an amazing quirk! Meanwhile, I'm just lame compared to you guys…"
She said while grumping down on Furue's desk, she was puzzled, she didn't know what to do and had no idea why she would be jealous. Compared to Furue, Nana-Chan's quirk is like a blessing, she won't hurt anyone while using it.
So she did what she thought was best, slowly, Furue caressed the head of Nana-Chan, the same way Ame-neechan often did for her when she felt sad.
"I think your quirk is amazing. I heard from Emi-sense that…if you train hard enough, every quirk can become strong. Your quirk is called Sensitivity, right? I think…if you train hard enough you can control what you are feeling and one day, you may be able to help people one day, since your quirk increases not only your skin sensitivity but also every part of your body." Furue said what she thought, along with what she heard from Emi-sensei.
Nana-Chan stares at her and then suddenly lunges in for a hug. "Like I thought! Furue-Chan is the best!"
She didn't know why Nana-Chan hugged her, but she returned the hug, once Nana-Chan finished she retreated from her. "Welp, I don't want to be a hero but If you really become one then! I will be your suit designer! Yumi-chan too!" she said with a smile.
Furue…was stunned. Nana-Chan said so brightly she didn't know how to respond.
"Then please make me a cute costume, Nanachi," Yumi-san said, using the nickname Nana-Chan wanted to be called.
"Then…I will leave it to you."
"Leave it to me! I will make the best costume for you!" Nana-Chan said, smiling brightly.
Author's rant of the day!
Ha...I'm tired, I want to write my gundam fic but it all burning away! my idea is burning away! But I will be back on it in a jiffy! I trust myself!
