Chapter Seventy-Six

The Crew Expands

The following morning, Agent Fowler had arrived at the base ready to meet the Chicago Knights.

The Agent was sitting on the sofa sipping some jasmine tea as he tried to gather himself and brace himself for who he was going to meet.

Even though the Hamato Clan had shown him photos as well as provided the names of everyone who would be coming, he was still looking pale and panting.

Yet it wasn't just the idea that he was meeting some humanoid animals, but he had also been informed that Megatron had returned, and that only added to the stress.

"Okay..." he was muttering to himself "I got several humanoid animals coming to Omega Base, it's not different to meeting four humanoid turtles, a rat, a lizard...a hybrid, a gecko and a...a dragon..." he panted again and took another sip of tea.

"You're going to be fine Agent Fowler." Splinter said, "No need to get worried."

"I'm not worried." Agent Fowler said, "I just...well, just wondering how much my brain and my heart can take."

Pandora and Michelangelo stood to the side and couldn't help but chuckle at Fowler's nervousness.

"You'd think he was about to walk into a courtroom." Pandora said.

"Tell me about it!" Michelangelo agreed.

"Bet you five dollars he faints!" Pandora challenged.

"Bet you five dollars and fifty cents he faints twice!" Michelangelo whispered.

"Six dollars he does it three times!" Pandora shot back with a smirk.

The turtle and hybrid weren't the only ones making bets, the Autobots were doing the same, or rather all except Ratchet and Optimus who were more concerned on waiting for the Mutopians to arrive, Ratchet was watching the screens whilst Optimus was asking Leonardo to remind him of the names of who was visiting them.

Ironhide was already suggesting the High Grade until Arcee had a better idea so as not to waste the good energon.

"If Fowler faints twice, I'm free from Chore duty!" she quipped with a smirk.

"Fowler faints three times, you're doing my chores tomorrow and the day after that!" Ironhide challenged.

"Four times, I'm off chore duty tomorrow and the day after!" Bulkhead chuckled whilst Bumblebee bleeped that he would be free from chores for two days if Fowler fainted five times."

Optimus could hear his soldier's making bets and he frowned a little disapproving, Ratchet meanwhile vented a little in annoyance, but he was glad they weren't betting their scouting shifts.

But like their fellow soldiers, they were curious to see how Fowler was going to handle meeting the Chicago Knights.

Before long, the perimeter sensor went off and Ratchet saw the Ninjet land on top of the silo.

"They're here!" he said, and everyone got excited whilst Agent Fowler stiffened up.

Pandora and Kemeko looked excited, as did the rest of the Hamato Clan, yet Leonardo and Splinter looked serious and were ready to do the talking.

Before long the lift doors opened and Tyroth appeared followed closely by Sephie, Freya, Loki, and Old George.

Agent Fowler's eyes widened as he saw only them stepping out and he took a deep breath as he stared at the old Galapagos turtle who wore a robe like Master Splinter's and held a cane and had a long white beard and thick white eyebrows.

He was even more shocked to see the Geckolings and female Chameleon girl with Amber/blonde hair and her green skin turning yellow as she looked up at the Autobots.

As soon as the Geckolings looked up at the Autobots Loki looked like a kid at Christmas as he stared at them in wonder.

"Whoa..." he cried "I'm sure I've died and gone to Valhalla!"

"You're not dead little brother!" Freya said, "And you're not dreaming!"

Old George blinked as he looked at Optimus Prime.

"My old eyes do not lie..." he said, "You are real!"

Ratchet scoffed and was about to speak yet Optimus looked at him and Ratchet went quiet.

Leonardo looked at Tyroth and was about to ask where the others were, yet his question was answered when the lift doors opened again, and Jack the Wolf appeared followed closely by the other Chicago Knights, James the Chimpanzee, Dahlia the Wolf and Jun the Tiger.

As soon as they entered, they stared up at the Autobots and gasped, and Dahlia looked a little faint until Jun stood close to her.

"You alright sweetie?" he asked.

Dahlia looked a little embarrassed, but she smiled and nodded.

"I'm okay." She said.

Monalisa wanted to greet her brother Jake who stood with Amber the Marine Iguana, and Pandora and Kemeko were ready to greet the Geckolings and Sonia yet they waited out of respect as they had to make their introductions to the Autobots.

Kate looked at Michelangelo who bit his lip and scratched the back of his head, yet Kate gave him the look that they would talk once the formalities were over.

Jack looked at the Autobots then at Tyroth and at first, he wasn't sure what to say but he saluted to Tyroth and forced himself to speak.

"We're all accounted for." He said.

"Great." Tyroth said then looked up at Optimus and bowed to him.

"Optimus Prime." He said respectfully "May I introduce my dear friends and fellow soldiers from Mutopia."

Optimus bowed back to the Dragon with a nod of his head.

"Welcome back to Post Omega one Tyroth." He said, "And I extend the welcome to your friends gathered here."

Tyroth then started to introduce the Chicago Knights and everyone else present, he introduced Jack as his second in command followed by Sharky the Shark, Percy the Grasshopper, Heather the Dragonfly, Sarah the Cheetah and Kate the Viper.

He then introduced Jun the Tiger, also part of the Chicago Knights given his history as a Fighter when he was human, then he introduced James and Dahlia, Mutopia's medics.

He then introduced his children Freya and Loki as well as Sonia the Chameleon and Loki was all too keen to get closer to the Autobots and ask all the questions he had listed yet Sonia and Freya stood close to him to keep him from flying up at them. At least until the formalities were over.

He then introduced Jake freeman as their only human Chicago Knight and his sister Amber.

"Hold up." Fowler spoke then pointed at Devina who looked over and the Agent could see that her skin tone was a lot paler than Jake's.

"You say Jake there is your only human soldier, yet who is this?"

Tyroth looked a little sheepish and the Knights looked rather awkward, yet Devina looked rather mischievous.

"I look human to you, don't I?' she asked, and Fowler then saw her two sharp incisors and he started to go pale.

"Wait..." he said, "If you're not exactly human, what are you?"

Devina smirked showing her teeth fully as well as her blood red eyes.

"I'm a vampire." She said getting straight to the point.

Fowler's eyes widened and his head snapped forward then he started to laugh almost in a mad way.

"A Vampire?" he asked throwing his hands up "Yeah! Sure right! Next thing you're telling me, you're part werewolf too!"

At once everyone looked at Fowler in amazement and Michelangelo let out a yelp.

"Oh boy..." Raphael muttered.

Ironhide smirked.

"I think he's gonna go cuckoo..." he whispered to Bulkhead.

"Without a doubt." Arcee agreed.

Devina meanwhile smirked.

"Funny you should say." She said then before Tyroth could stop her, she enveloped herself in black smoke and after a couple of seconds, she was in her monstrous half wolf/bat form.

Agent Fowler stared shock as he stopped laughing.

At the same time, the Autobots stared in silence.

"By the All Spark..." Optimus murmured.

"I'm a vampire werewolf Hybrid." Devina said in her deep growling voice.

Again, Agent Fowler just stared in shock, and everyone wondered what he was going to do or say next.

"He's frozen on the spot..." Pandora whispered to Michelangelo.

Tyroth cocked his head as well as gave Devina a slight glare.

"Why did you have to do that?" he muttered.

"Why not?" Devina replied, "Shot across the bows I've heard it said."

Monalisa meanwhile walked up to Fowler and waved her head in front of his face.

"Um, Agent Fowler? William?" she asked, "Are you alright?"

Yet Agent Fowler just continued to stare at Devina unblinking.

"Agent Fowler?" Optimus asked concerned.

"Um...guys." Bulkhead said, "Looks like he's glitched!"

James sighed as he walked over.

"I believe your human liaison has gone into a catatonic state." He said walking up to the agent and like Monalisa waved his head in front of his face, yet the agent gave no response.

"Does that count that he's fainted, yet not fallen down?" Bulkhead asked to which Ironhide shrugged.

"Best get him back on the sofa." Dahlia suggested as she walked over and with James guided the Agent back to the sofa and sat him down.

"How do we get him out of his trance?" Kemeko asked concerned.

"Well, you can start by turning back to your human form Devina." Tyroth said to which the Vampiress instantly did.

"Opps." She said sheepishly "Maybe that might have been a little too much for him to handle."

"No, you think?" Tyroth asked rolling his eyes then looked up at Optimus.

"Do you think he'll be alright?" he asked as Dahlia and James continued to look over Agent Fowler with Donatello's help.

"Hopefully yes." Optimus said as he looked at the still catatonic Fowler "He has recovered from faints before."

He then turned to the dragon and looked over at the Chicago Knights.

"We are honoured that you have come to meet us, coming all the way from Chicago."

"We've been looking forward to it very much." Jack said with a salute "Any friend of the Hamato Clan is a friend of ours."

The other Knights agreed and nodded.

Loki meanwhile was straining a little at the leash as he wanted to get closer to the Autobots.

"Dad?" he asked "Please can I say hello? Please."

"Patience son!" Tyroth said looking over at the young Geckoling to which Loki looked crestfallen.

Pandora couldn't help but giggle as she watched.

Kemeko also watched and turned to her cousin/honoured sister.

"Remind you of anyone huh?" she asked.

Pandora bumped her bottom against Kemeko making the Asian girl stumble and protest, but she couldn't help but agree that Loki reminded her of herself, looking rather annoyed if she was denied what she wanted.

Just then a voice was sheard from the sofa.

"What the? Where am I? huh?"

Everyone looked over and they saw Fowler blinking and looking around as James was checking his heart and Dahlia was wiping his forehead.

"What's going on here?"

"Hey guys!" Michelangelo quipped "Fowler's back with us!"

Everyone turned to the agent as he shook his head and blinked.

"Oh man, what a nightmare." He said "I thought I saw a monster..."

"Hey!" Devina cried "Who you calling monster?"

"Easy there Devina!" Sephie said then walked over to Fowler.

"Look William." She said, "She's harmless, yes she's a vampire/werewolf hybrid, but she's one of the nicest people you'll ever meet!"

Fowler blinked.

"Really?" he asked.

Devina walked over and held out her hand.

"Sure thing!" she said, "I swear on the Nine Hells!"

Fowler stared at Devina and reluctantly held out his hand to shake hers.

"Hey there..." he said in a shaky voice.

"Hey!" Devina said "Look, sorry I scared you,"

"It's alright..." Fowler said, "Been through worse...believe me."

"We can believe that..." Raphael muttered.

Optimus vented and looked at Tyroth.

"Thank you for introducing us to your friends Dragon." He said, "We are honoured that you trust us to know of your existence."

"And you of ours Optimus." Sephie said with a smile "And we are ready and willing to help in any way we can, along with our friends."

"Thank you." Optimus said with a soft smile, "Your assistance will be appreciated should we need you."

He then looked over to see Loki fly over to Ironhide and Bulkhead starting off with asking all the questions that came to his head about them.

"So who are you guys?" he asked as Bulkhead looked rather shocked as well as overwhelmed at the Geckoling boys endless questions.

"What do you turn into you? You a Monster Truck? What are you made of? Who made you!?"

Optimus snorted.

"It looks like your son is eager to learn about us." He said.

Tyroth chuckled.

"Like Donatello he is eager to learn." He reported.

Sephie watched at Loki flew around the Autobots taking in their features and asking more questions as the other children along with Sonia watched and tried to call him back to the raised platform.

"It's going to be hard to tear him away from them, that's for sure!" she said then looked to see the Chicago Knights and the other Mutopians present greeting their friends as well as interact with the Autobots, or in Monalisa's case her brother as she embraced Jake.

She felt pleased that everyone had come together again, and they were now under the protection of the government after their meeting with Fowler, but there was still a lot more to discuss, and once all the calm, she was ready to listen and learn.

The Mutopians have met the Autobots, and Fowler has gotten more than just a shock as he first met Devina! lol!

How much more can this guy take? And he's still got a lot more to learn regarding the Mutopians! lol!

Also Loki seems like a kid at Christmas meeting the Autobots! Well, would you?
