Chapter 1399 Caracole Island

Sota was at Earthland as he had to check on the world.
"So this is the world that the others went to." He said.
He was there to make sure the guild was fine.
He goes inside the building and saw Yukino cleaning the place with a smile.
She saw him and waves. "Oh hello."
"You must be Yukino." He remembers Recorder talking about her.
"Yes, it's nice to meet you, what's your name?" She asked.
"Sota."
"Sota, do you know Team Light?" She asked.
"Yes, i'm part of the sub group." He said.
"Oh, then welcome, do you wish to join Saviors of light?" She asked.
"Well... Okay." He said.
She puts a stamp on his back and he puts his shirt back on.
"I'm glad we can have new members, the others are out in missions." She said.
Sota noticed Kumon Kaito and other riders there that helped during the witches attack.
Kaito smiles and Sota can tell that he and Eternal live here.
Sota then senses something. "I'll be back."
He goes off surprising Yukino and wonders where he went.
At a island called Caracole Island
Natsu and his team were facing against Brandish a mage, she appeared and was causing trouble to them all.
"How strong is she?" Natsu said.
"I never felt so much magical power like this before..." Gray said.
"Be prepared for anything." Erza said.
Brandish goes to attack but then Sota came in between them.
"Who is this guy?" Natsu said.
"I have no idea." Gray said.
"That's strange I am not sensing any magic power from him..." Lucy said.
Erza thinks to herself: Is he connected to Team Light?
"I am Sota, from Saviors of Light."
"Are you a new recruit?" Natsu asked.
"Yeah, I came to the guild until I sense the immense magic coming from here." Sota sighs.
"You just made a mistake getting involved..." Brandish said.
Sota looks at her as the two stared at each other.
"Let's just get it over with."
"So pessimistic!" The team said.
Brandish wastes no time, she picks up a rock and throws it towards Sota and the others. Her magic then increases the rock's size to a boulder.
He raises his right arm touching it, then imagine breaker went off changing it back to normal.
This surprises everyone as they didn't expect that.
Is he a Dispel mage? Brandish thinks.
"Whoa! How did he do that?" Natsu said.
"That was just like Dispel but she has more magic power than him." Gray said.
Sota cracks his neck and raises his left arm causing it to change into his claw.
Brandish takes out her dagger and increases its size until it resembled a sword. He slashes at her causing a claw between them.
They continued clashing making many strikes against each other while Team Natsu watch.
"Sota is keeping up with her." Erza said.
"How is he lasting so long?" Lucy said.
"I have no idea..." Gray said.
His eyes glow as he dodges another attack and moves around, dodging before she even moves.
Brandish thinks: How is he moving so fast?
She noticed his eyes and backs away. "Your eyes."
"The Emperor, the ability to see the future." He said.
"Predicting the future?" Brandish said.
"I can react faster than with my power." He then summons his twin swords.
"Enough." She uses her magic to become giant towering over them.
"She's huge!" The others said.
She goes to crush him but he flies above her, a she swings her hands to make a gust.
He lost control before he landed something.
Brandish blushes and the others got shocked.
Sota landed on her chest.
"Just my bad luck." He frowns.
"Bad luck?! More like good luck!" Gray and Natsu said.
Brandish becomes embarrassed because of what happened.
"Pervert!" She grabs him and throws him away.
He landed on his feet. "Your the one that made me land there."
Brandish's brow twitches before she goes to stomp him. He dodges and touches her leg with Imagine Breaker.
Brandish reverts to her original size, she blinks since she was in mid air, she falls down crashing against Sota.
The others gasped since the two were kissing.
Natsu, Happy, Lucy, Erza and Gray got stunned. "Eh!"
He pushes her back. "I can't believe you landed on me like this."
"It's your fault!" Brandish said.
"No your fault!" He said.
They start to argue much to the bewilderment of Team Natsu.
"It's you fault." She tackles him.
"Oh shut up." He throws her to the water.
Brandish gets mad and shrinks the entire island into the size of a stone causing everyone to fall into the sea.
He touches the island to change it back.
The two went back up.
"Did you seriously have to change the island you crazy woman?" He said.
"You started it!" Brandish said.
"Your the one that started this entire fight!" He splashes her.
Brandish gets more mad but suddenly her henchman, Marin arrives.
"Lady Brandish, the Imperial Navy has arrived." Marin said.
"Good." She looks at Sota and Team Natsu. "You will be detained."
"Yeah, no." He sinks.
"Where did he go?" She looks around.
While she was distracted Mest teleported Team Natsu away from the island.
Brandish then noticed Team Natsu gone. "Damn it!"
"Time to go." She saw Celosia taking Sota far away.
"If I see this punk again I'll make him pay!" Brandish said.
"Good thing I was here to join the guild too." Celosia said.
"Just take me home." He sighs.
He dealt with someone strong and she might be a problem later on.
Sota came back to his house and he saw Annie with a brown mouse and big blue cat playing tea party.
"Annie." He said.
"Hi daddy this is Tom and Jerry." She said and they waved at him.
"A mouse and a cat? You want pets." He said.
"Please daddy." She begs at his feet.
Tom and Jerry did the same begging.
Sota looks at them and frowns. "Alright fine, but don't break my stuff."
"Thank you daddy." She hugs him.
He patted her head as the two smiled at him.
Sota goes back to his room as he goes to relax while Annie goes to play with her new friends.
She found them out on the streets and brought the two home now she has her own pet friends.
Tom and Jerry are also happy to be with her.
Note: Sota went to Earthland and he fought Brandish in that island, to give a hint to what's coming later.
