Chapter 1543 New Way
I don't own Bleach or any of the powers and gear used in this story.
Victor was at the inn they were staying and he was with Velvet looking outside a window together.
"It's nice to relax Victor." Velvet said.
"Yeah, it's nice just to relax with friends." He said.
She looks at him as he stares off into the distance and blushes a bit.
"Um Vic-"
"Hey Victor!" They heard Nora surprising them.
They saw Team JNPR come and they waved at him.
Velvet pouted and Victor said: "Oh hey guys, I didn't know you were here."
"We were passing by and saw you and Velvet here." Ren said.
"Yeah what a surprise." Jaune said.
"So you guys been doing well?" Victor asked.
"Well my foot has been getting better ever since Cinder attack. But i'm doing well." Pyrrha said.
"That's good, also Jaune I heard you've been getting better with your weapon." Victor said.
"Oh I got a few upgrades to it." Jaune said.
"Very good, you can do better even." Victor said.
Pyrrha then saw Nebula and Octavia outside with Nebula looking down. "Isn't that team NDGO?"
"Oh those two? Yes they're in a team with me, Velvet and Arslan. But i'm the leader here." Victor said.
"Seeing your second in command of your team it makes sense." Ren said.
"Yeah, Victor is awesome." Nora said.
"So they better listen to me. Since those two are cowards." He said.
"Cowards?" Ren said.
"The moment Beacon got attacked they're team ran back to Shade." He said.
JNPR got surprised to hear that.
"They just ran!" Pyrrha said.
"Wow, not cool." Jaune said.
"Yeah, they're pretty lame." Nora said.
Nebula heard that and frowns even more.
"Nebula we can still-" Octavia got cut off.
"Shut up." Nebula said.
"What?" Octavia got surprised.
"Just shut up." Nebula has tears. "We're not great heroes. We're not great huntresses, we're nothing. They're right we're just cowards."
"But we followed what was logical." Octavia said but she got slapped by Nebula.
Octavia got shocked since her leader hit her.
"Shut up! We might be trying to be become heroic but that's not changing what we did! Your also monster for using kids!" She hits her down and cries even more.
Octavia got hit more times as Nebula cried. "Your a monster! A monster!"
Nebula stops to see Octavia got bruised and still in shock to what she did. Nebula gets off as she looks down to the ground.
"We're just a joke." Nebula said.
Octavia was in shock seeing that and Nebula takes out her crossbow and throws it away making her teammate gasp.
"Why do I even do this? He's right, why are we even huntresses?" Nebula said.
"Because we wanted to help." Octavia tried to make her feel better.
"And what was our plan? Use children as bait, how much did we sunk." Nebula pushes her back. "I quit."
"What?!" Octavia gasped.
"I'll return to shade after this and tell I give up." Nebula said.
"No!" Octavia holds her. "You can't do that! We need you! Without you theres no more Team NDGO so please don't leave!"
Nebula looks at her. "Nobody needs me." She frees herself.
Octavia watches her leave and was in shock. "No, please don't go... Nebula."
She then falls to her knees and breaks too. "Is this what we did."
Octavia then thinks about everything that they did and compared it to Team Light and other teams from Beacon, they did they're job and she just made things worse in this mission.
Victor goes up to her. "Where's your friend?"
"She quit." Octavia said.
Victor raises an eyebrow. "Really?"
"Yes, are you happy now?!" Octavia looks at him with tears. "She picked to leave than to live in shame for what we did. We failed many and just cowards. Your happy we admit it, we are cowards!"
Victor sighs and goes to pick up the crossbow. "This not what I wanted."
"What?" She looks at him.
He goes off making her curious to where he's going.
Nebula walks back to where Shade is and was looking down, not even being confident.
"Where do you think your going?"
She looks back to see Victor with his arms crossed.
"I'm going to quit, your right. We don't deserve to be huntresses after what we did." She said.
"I didn't say quit right away." He said.
"What?" She said.
"That makes it worse to quit a mission instead of finishing it. Your just leaving your team because it's too hard." He said.
"What am I supposed to do?!" She said.
"Learn from your mistakes!" He said surprising her.
"You can't just quit and be done. Learn from them and not make the same one again."
She looks down and he gives her the weapon back.
"Like how others believed in you, don't make them lose trust in you." He said.
Nebula looks and hugs Victor surprising him. "I'm sorry. I'm so sorry!"
He smiles a bit and hugs her back. "There there."
He takes Nebula back and Octavia was happy that her leader didn't give up. But they want to make things right this time.
Victor didn't want them to just give up and be useless, he wants any good hunter to grow and get better. So he's going to make sure they get better with some real field training while he's here.
Arslan watches from a window and smiles. "Well it looks like the son of Sparda is a better teacher than what I even thought. Maybe he can be special too." She stares at Victor and thinks he could be the one.
She will not watch and if he's the one she will be a very happy girl to have him.
"Let's see what he can do." She smirks.
Victor started to train his team to get better as with him there they can reach higher expectactions than ever before, since they need to do things right.
Note: Nebula and Octavia are now starting to change for the better since they needed to get a reality check for what they did, since what they did was pretty terrible but with Victor he can help them.
