Chapter 10
Mass murderer Sirius Black exonerated under verisaterum in closed Wizengamot trial
Rita Skeeter
This reporter was able to get the scoop of the summer! Notorious murderer Sirius Black was brought into a closed Wizengamot session, without the presence of its Chief Warlock, under the order and actions of DMLE Head Amelia Bones.
What followed was a harrowing tale of brotherly love, survivor's guilt leading to a grief laden confession that sent Sirius Black to Azkaban without a trial!
Lord Black was then able to escape the notorious prison, having recognised the real culprit in a Daily Prophet article!
The truth was laid out for all to see: Peter Pettigrew betrayed The Potters' location to their murderer and Sirius Black went after him in a revenge fuelled rage, setting himself up to be framed.
Amelia Bones has called a manhunt for Peter Pettigrew's location, and revealed him to be an unregistered animagus taking the form of a common rat, how fitting!
Lord Black was able to walk out of the Wizengamot with a full pardon, the guardianship of his godson, and left many questions in his wake.
Dear readers, we need to ask now why the esteemed Chief Warlock Albus Dumbledore didn't see fit to request a trial for his dear friend Sirius Black at the time? It has come out that he was also the one to cast the Fidelius Charm on the Potters' house in Godric's Hollow, and therefore surely he knew who the real Secret Keeper was...
This reporter asked for comments but Albus Dumbledore did not reply.
Minister Fudge, similarly, did not feel the need to comment on the happenings of the Ministry.
I will continue the search for the truth.
