The four friends woke up in their homes with splitting headaches.
Amy:
She groaned as she woke up on her bed.
"Oh goodness that was awful. My head hurts." Amy said to herself as she looked around.
"What happened last night?" Amy asked herself.
Tails:
The young fox woke up on the couch as he tried to remember what happened.
"Did I pass out or something? Ow my head. I feel like I have been sleeping on rocks." Tails said to himself.
He opened up a window and sees it was already sun set outside.
"Whoa! Is it evening already? How long did I sleep?" Tails asked himself.
Sticks;
Sticks woke up in her borrow.
"Ugh! Man I feel like muckfoot waking up from a nightmare." Sticks said to herself while standing up and looking into a mirror.
"I never sleep much but I didn't think I need much of it. Have I been sleeping?" Sticks asked herself.
Knuckles:
The red echidna woke up on the hammock in the mountains where he sleeps.
"Ugh. Geez. I must've hit my head too hard. What the heck happened?" Knuckles said to himself while feeling his head.
That was when he remembered that explosion.
"Amy must've triggered a trap or something. Ouch!" Knuckles said to himself.
At the same moment, the other three remembered as well.
"Hmm... Did Sonic get us out of there after I blacked out? He must've saw the explosion and got us here." Knuckles said 'assuming the blue hedgehog drop them off at their houses and speeds off'.
Knuckles felt a little guilty for what happened. He sighed deeply before he looks up.
'separately' everyone in their homes thought of something.
"Guess we had enough of our time away from Sonic." Everyone said while they were in their homes.
Knuckles recalled what Sonic had said before.
"What was it that Sonic tried to tell me?" Knuckles asked himself.
"Maybe I can ask him." Knuckles suggested but things are going to get weird and that it where it begins.
