At the workshop, Knuckles was being lectured by Tails about wondering off. Morning came fast and Knuckles couldn't process why Sonic was so upset.
"What were you thinking Knuckles?! You can't just go wonder off randomly. Besides, we have no idea what's going on ourselves. So it's best if we stay together." Tails said 'in an upset tone'.
"But I was worried about Sonic." Knuckles protested.
"I understand Knuckles, we all are. But it's no excuse to run off from us." Amy said 'trying to be patient with him'.
Knuckles looked down, he needed to see if Sonic was okay. But he can't shake the feeling.
What was Sonic wanting to tell him. He recalled every single time that Sonic has been acting weird towards him.
The way he blushed at him, the way he acted (as if he was nervous around him).
"What had gotten into you Sonic? What was it that you were trying to tell me?" Knuckles asked himself.
Seeing Tails and the girls distracted, Knuckles headed out.
It caught Tails attention as he groaned and facepalmed.
"Not again." Tails muttered.
"Knuckles get back here!" Amy shouted as Sticks groaned.
Knuckles looked around and was shocked to see it was morning.
He stopped and saw the sun was actually up.
"Morning already? We must've been up all night." Knuckles said to himself.
That was when Knuckles found himself on the beach. He then sees Sonics beach shack.
"Okay. I better find out for myself." Knuckles said to himself.
When he walked in, he sees someone he didn't expect.
It was (Sonics older twin sister) Sonia 'packing up Sonics belongings with Fiona'.
"Is he sure about this?" Fiona asked.
Sonia nodded.
"Sonia? What are you doing here?! And why the heck are you packing Sonics stuff?!" Knuckles asked and no surprise, they didn't hear him.
"But why? Sonic doesn't haft to do this." Fiona said 'with sympathy'.
"Fiona I understand. But he wants to. He already agreed if this gets out of hand, Sonic has to return to the kingdom regardless if he has to or not. Sonic wanted to return home." Sonia said with sorrow and sympathy in her voice.
"What?! Now?! This is a joke. It has to be a joke. Sonic isn't ready." Knuckles said in shock.
Sonic then walks in 'looking down'.
"Sonic please tell me this is a joke." Knuckles asked desperately.
No reaction.
"I know this is hard but..." Sonia said with sadness before trailing off.
"No big sis. I wanna do this. Thanks for coming. After what happened. Seelkadoom had to call you. I... I didn't know who else to turn to." Sonic said with deep sorrow.
"I know baby brother. I know. Listen, Manic will be here shortly. He didn't get the message til late." Sonia said while hugging her younger brother.
Sonic couldn't hold back tears as he hugged her back and cried.
"It's just so hard...It hurts." Sonic said while crying.
"I know. Though you deeply loved him than I ever could." Sonia sadly said.
"So what now?" Fiona asked.
Both siblings broke the hug as Sonic looked down as his sadness slowly turns into rage.
"Wait for Manic, and if Eggman attacks this instant. I won't hesitate to destroy him at all costs. No matter how much he begs for his miserable life. No more Mr cocky pity hedgehog. In fact, no more Mr. Nice Guy. He's not going to get any mercy from me." Sonic said while his fists shook in anger and his eyes filled with deep hate.
Knuckles eyes widened in horror. Sonic was going to do the unimaginable.
"My God. Sonic don't... You're better than this." Knuckles said 'trying to touch him but failed'.
"Sonic! Listen to me!" Knuckles shouted in desperation as Sonic, Sonia, and Fiona walked out.
"Sonic! I'm right here." Knuckles said 'as his demeanor changed into sorrow'.
Knuckles sat down as he felt like he was going to faint. Sonic is going to do the unthinkable.
"There you are." Tails voice said in a stern voice.
"What have you done now?" Amy asked frustratedly.
"Amy, stop!" Tails said angrily.
"Knuckles? What's going on now?" Sticks asked impatiently'.
"We need to stop Sonic! He's going to destroy Eggman." Knuckles said with horror on his expression.
Tails, Amy, and Sticks were petrified at this.
"Amy, Tails, Knuckles, Sticks. It won't do any good. I told you all, they can't see or hear you." The voice said.
Knuckles looks to the source of the voice, this time, it was clear who it is that said it.
"Silver?!" The gang said in surprise.
