Chapter 3: My grand return…..sort of
Well I am finally back that is a start. But what I was not expecting was where I would end up popping up in the first place. I was standing on an all too familiar mountain that I had been too almost 4 years ago. It was mount Tamalpais. Mount Tam for short, but enough about that it looks like it had been ravaged by some sort of battle. And when I look over the all too familiar foe of Atlas was still sitting under the weight of the world. It seems that he did not know of my presence as I just looked up into the sky. The night was awfully beautiful As the moon was full and shining in the sky. The constellation of Zoe my dear friend shining in the night as I remembered what had happened here all those years ago. A bit of pain and longing coming back to me as I looked over and walked to Atlas speaking to gain his attention. "So I see you are still as peachy as ever aren't you big A. So how does it feel still being under the weight of the world." At hearing my voice he turns and scoffs as he recognizes it's me but at the same time hesitant as he sees my eyes and notices something is different. "Well if it isn't the spawn of posideon. I never thought I would see you again after I had heard you disappeared 2 years ago. What made you come back here and why do you look different." It seemed that he was holding back his lounge as I flared my power up a bit so that he could really know who he was dealing with. At feeling Kronos power he looked at me shocked as he bowed his head and looked at me panic in his eyes. "You, out of everyone he chose to let you be his successor. I would have never thought that you would be the one to pick up his mantle. I hope he made the right choice considering the impending war that is coming." Again this war is mentioned as I was starting to get frustrated but I decided to wait as I knew that at some point I would have it told to me. I just stared at him as I calmly stated. "Yes I was the right choice since I will help but enough about that. I am just confused why I was sent here of all places." At the sounds of my voice I hear two people speak behind me muffled in voice as I hear foot steps approaching. "Little demigod you must get out of here before they get to you. Those are the people who have been guarding me since they destroyed the temple. If they find you they will definitely try to subdue you and take you in for questioning. I just hope that the world gets better. Oh and before you leave, I just want you to save my daughter. She never really deserved what she got coming to her and I still regret what happened to her after all these years." I see the look in his eyes as I remembered about Calypso. The thought of her still being on that island made me mad as I still hadn't freed her. I looked at him and nodded as I heard the footsteps getting louder. "I will save her don't you worry. Just don't try anything funny or else I will personally come and get you under that rock again." With that I jumped off the side of the mountain turning to mist as I made it to the bottom of the mountain before whoever was up there got to me.
Back At the top of the mountain.
As the two people approached they saw that the top was empty besides the trapped titan as the look over and ask. "You prisoner who was up here with you. We heard you talking to someone
so you better not lie." Atlas just shook his head as he didn't want the young demigod to be found out he just sighed. "Oh don't worry I was just talking to myself to get through the pain." At this the two get more frustrated as they turned and looked at each other. "I think we should definitely let the camp know that something is a foot. I don't feel good about this since he normally never talks." The first voice would say as the second looked over and nodded. "Yeah your right Reyna we are lucky that we took watch tonight or else we don't know if anyone else would have noticed." The second male voice would say as the girl named Reyna would respond. "Yes Jason let's head back to camp Jupiter to let everyone know"
With Percy
As Percy would start walking down the streets of San Francisco he would breath in the air as he heard a voice behind me. I slowed down time as to react thinking something would affect me but it was just a figure cloaked in darkness. "Why hello there hero. My mother has sent me to tell you that you must head back to the east. I know this is not the welcome you were expecting but I guess this is what will do." She smiled as I pointed towards her and asked questioningly. "Your mother who the heck are you. I have never seen you before." She just laughed as I let down my time slowage seeing everything return to normal as she finally spoke. "Yes my mother Chaos. I am her daughter Nyx."
AN: Well that's another chapter down. Percy return wasn't much of a return and now he must go back to meet his friends. But will they still know him and what is with the other camp. Will Percy actually save Calypso and who is this mysterious Nyx. More will come as I continue the story. It's been Suichi7 and I am signing off till next time.
