Chapter 4: I travel through darkness.
Now if you ever had told me that I would meet the lady of the night I would have never believed you but today was full of a lot of surprises. After my little chat with Atlas I would have thought that that would be the extent to what I would do today but oh I was so wrong. As me and the primordial Nyx, I learned that that is their name from Chaos, continued to walk down the piers of San Francisco I just marveled at her beauty. She had pitch black hair with matching pitch black eyes. Her skin reflected otherwise as it was a nice shade of pale white. It was a very sharp contrast as the pale skin but dark features really showed off her true beauty. Not to mention she really did have a figure befitting of a primordial. But as I thought that I got smacked upside the head. "Hey young one focus on what I am telling you. And close your mouth all the drool will mess your shirt up if you keep it going at this rate." My face flushed up as I looked at her as she laughed in my direction. She continued talking to me about what has been going on in the mortal world. "So as you know you have been gone for 2 years now. Knowing your powers it must have been a very different experience but everyone here has really missed you." She said grimly as she over looked the bay at the golden gate bridge. The bright red structure standing out in the darkness of the night. "Everyone especially your father took it rough. The seas did not stop clashing for months after your disappearance. But after some time they did calm off to the joy of everyone." I looked her way being captivated by her soft tone as I shook my head and started to speak slowly. "Yeah I know they all must be very worried for me. I hope they all faired well especially my mom and best friends." I thought back to Annabeth, Grover, and Thalia. My best friends and companies in my last adventure. I hope they truly faired well and that the still remember me. "Well I mean I will be seeing them soon won't I." Nyx nodded before she looked me in the eyes and smirked. "Yeah you sure will but I know you have another task you would like to get to first. It involves the daughter of Atlas doesn't it." I blushed as I looked away remembering what I had told Atlas and how I would free his daughter. "Yes but I still don't know how I will get back there. No hero has ever been able to return to her island." At this Nyx just laughed as she placed her hand on my shoulder. "Oh dear Percy but you are no ordinary hero. And you are in the presence of a primordial we can do anything." And with that she pushed me as I fell through what seemed like a dark portal. A smirk On her face as she just yelled one last line. "Good luck Percy and you only have 24 hours before you come back." At that she disappeared as I continued to fall deeper into the hole.
I landed with a hard thud on some sand. The texture was all to familiar to me but I didn't know why I was there. As I got up and grunted at being flung through some darkness I recognized that I had been shadow traveled. As I stood up I saw a beautiful bright blue ocean. The night sky look absolutely stunning as all the stars shown through. As if the world was completely cleansed of all it's impurities. I turned and saw a thick jungle, with what seemed to be a very familiar hut. As I took a step forward I heard something drop behind me and a loud gasp. My
instinct kicked in as I slowed time down and caught the falling object as I grasped it and turned around and saw the girl I had waited so long to see again. She stared at me with those caramel eyes as I would see tears starting to form in her eyes. She slowly spoke in a very quite tone. "P…..Percy is that really you." I smiled my trade mark smile as I placed the, what I now discovered was a plant, on the floor and spread my arms out wide. "Yes it is Calypso it is me Percy Jackson." At that the beautiful young girl lunged at tackling me to the ground as she cried into my shoulder. I just laid there stroking her hair as I whispered. "It's ok I am finally here. See I kept my promise." With that she did the unexpected and kissed me. This caught me off guard but since I had used up a lot of my time powers I slowly started to go unconscious as the last thing I heard was a panicked Calypso trying to hold me up.
AN: And there we have it. With the help of Nyx, Percy was actually able to return to Ogygia. But will Percy be able to free Calypso. And how will he fair with this sudden loss of energy. I can't wait to continue and see where this goes. This has been Suichi7 signing off.
