Chapter 11
"The escalating territorial disputes in the South China Sea and West Philippine Sea have intensified, with Chinese militia vessels harassing Filipino fishing groups and taking over their traditional fishing grounds. In response, the Philippine government deployed Coast Guard vessels, supported by the US and Japan own naval vessels.
The situation reached a critical point when the Chinese militia fleet dispersed, prompting the Chinese government to accuse the Philippines of attacking Chinese citizens within what China claims as its borders. The Philippines refuted these allegations, citing similar past incidents involving Filipino fishing boats and the resupply vessel of BRP Sierra Madre.
Both nations remain at an impasse, each holding firm to their positions, and have agreed to escalate the matter to the international community for resolution."

Camp Tecson, San Miguel
As the S-70i Black Hawk landed on the camp airfield, the Scout Rangers disembarked and walked towards the camp. The military camp was bustling with Philippine Scout Rangers engaged in elite training and mock exercises to maintain their Special Operations Force status.
Passing a platoon of soldiers running laps, the Rangers were greeted by a drill sergeant before heading to the armory to hand over their equipment and weapons to the quartermaster. They then proceeded to the locker room, changing into their off-duty uniforms: black shirts and green camouflage pants.
The men and women of the team separated into their respective locker rooms. Inside the men's locker room, everyday conversations ensued.
"Hey, El-tee!" Justine called out to his commanding officer while changing clothes.
"What is it, Justine?" the Lieutenant replied.
"That mission was a bit intense, don't you think?"
"Yeah!" Mikey joined in. "That battle was more extreme than our usual missions."
"While we were exchanging bullets in that intense firefight, I nearly ran out of ammo before we retreated into the forest," Rodriguez added, removing his top shirt to reveal a buff build.
"At least most of us only had light injuries," Domingo chimed in. "The only notable injury was Leslie's, when a bullet nearly grazed her helmet, but she quickly regained her focus."
"Is she alright?" Mikey asked, concerned. "Any serious injuries?"
"What's this, Justine? Are you two a thing?" Justine teased.
"No!" Mikey protested, his face turning red with embarrassment.
"I'm joking, Rookie," Justine replied with a smug face. "It takes more than a bullet to pierce her thick skull."
"It's a good thing she's not here," Enriquez added, finishing his change. "If she heard that, you'd be on the floor in a second."
"Don't worry, she's not the greatest chismosa on this base. She don't have superpowers that can hear through walls," Justine joked as he put on his off-duty uniform.
On the other side of the room, the female locker has two women changing their combat uniform to their off-duty clothing as one of them has a sudden sneeze.
"Ah-CHOO!"
"Are you alright, Leslie?" Siesta asked her comrade, as the soldier sneezed.
"I don't know why, Siesta." Leslie replied with an almost irritated expression on her face, "But I have a very strange feeling that someone is bad-mouthing me. "
"Really?"
"Probably a feeling after getting nearly shot in the head."
"Are you fine?" Siesta asked worriedly tone.
"Yeah, I have a quick check and they say that it's nothing to worry about."
Back in the men's locker room, all of the guys have finished changing to their casual clothes. Leon checked on his cell phone in his locker as it had a single message.
"Leon, we need to talk about our current relationship, call back upon seeing this message."
Leon eyes widen in shock as his heart began thumping faster from the message. Sweating come out from his forehead and pulsing in fear.
He nearly lost his balance, and he nearly make an scene on the room.
Till Justine have noticed his squad leader is acting weird on the corner.
"Hey El-tee, are you okay?" Justin placed his hand on Leon's shoulders, as he came back to his sense.
"Wait, what happened?" Leon came back to reality, as he looked around, as he noticed his teammates are look at him in worry.
"You look albeit spacing out on your phone," Justine responded to his leader as he was concerned for him.
He noticed that his squad was looking at him weirdly like something wrong occurred.
"Sir? Are you alright?" Rodriguez asked, having an worried face.
"Nothing, I'm good, just something to check in." Leon tried to speak calmly to his teammates with a straight face.
"Oo-okay?" Justine responded in an unsure tone.
After they left the locker room, Leon went to his workplace on his desk.
He pulled out his cell phone and attempted to answer back the phone call. The anxiety and tension loomed around him as he fidgeted his finger on the desk and drummed his shoes on the floor.
The phone call then answered back as he rapidly accepted the call and answered the caller.
"Hey, how its going?" He was the first greeted by the call.
The caller has a feminine voice, in a tired and somber tone. As she responded to him.
"I'm-" The caller gave a moment of pause and replied. "Just doing fine, how about you?"
"Me?" Leon said in the remark. "I just finished my latest mission run, it was kinda intense but we managed to complete it successfully with minimal casualties."
"I see. I'm happy you are safe and sound" She sounds glad about the news, but the mood changes quickly too. "Okay, let's cut into the chase."
"I don't think our relationship won't work." She directly pulled out the reason for the call.
"What!?" Leon is surprised by the sudden answer. "Is there something wrong?"
"We both know it can't work due to the nature of our jobs." She reasoned in a troubling. "Also, it's better if you some else's much better."
"It could still work." He pleaded to her.
"Fine."She relented on the pleads. "Let's act on our usual cafe on your day off, we could formally discuss our future."
"Okay?"
The phone call stops, as it leaves a beeping sound, and he slumps his face on the desk being distress.
He looked up to see familiar figures looking at him in the doorway.
"I could see you over there!" Leon pointed out the hidden figures.
"Oh shit!" Justine cursed out in surprise.
"Busted." Leslie let out as she revealed on the doorway.
They aren't the only ones that came out on the cover. His entire team showed themselves in their hidden spot in an awkward manner.
"Uhm? Hi sir! How is it going?" Mikey tried to lighten the mood.
"Why are guys hiding at the door?" He asked about the weird action from his team.
"We are just checking up on you and how far," Siesta responded with a worried face.
"I'm just fine." He tried to convince his team in a straight face.
Justine makes a serious look on his leader's face and closely examines him for his mood.
"I know you aren't okay"
"What are you saying?" Leon said in annoyance.
"You always make that depressed face when something goes wrong." Justine said regarding his mood "Tell us what happened, sir."
Leon looked around on his team, as they were patiently watching him in worried.
"You guys won't leave me alone?"
They all nodded, as they showed empathy towards him.
"We are just worrying about ourselves," Leslie said concerned in her usual brash voice.
"Fine." He finally gave in to his team. "It's just my girlfriend, she call me to break up our relationship."
"You have an girlfriend." Half of the team was shocked in that information.
Leon responded in a huffed of air, as he realizes of their knowledge on him.
"I'd forgot that I kept some of that information from my private life." He mumbled out. "Well some of you."
He looked toward at Justine, as he was scratching his head, as tried recalled some memory.
"The girlfriend that is working for NICA?" Justine attempted to remember Leon's girlfriend.
"It's Isabella, and yes, she worked at NICA." He corrected Justine's question and answer.
"Your girlfriend is a spy?" Mikey asked excitedly as joined in the conversation.
Leon laughed warmly at the Rookie guessed answer.
"No, she's just an agent working for NICA."
Justine snorted with a sly grin on his face.
Leon just rolled his eyes and continued his situation.
"She says that we need to talk about breaking our relationship, and to meet her in our usual cafe."
The rest of the team went into an awkward silence as the situation is quite dire.
"That's is an death sentence." Leslie commented on the message. "And I know in drama shows, that's an means it's over."
Siesta lightly punched Leslie arm, as she silently recommended to be subtle.
"Sir, it's okay on what would happened if things didn't go to your way." Rodriguez send his support to Leon.
"Rodriguez stop!"
"It's fine, we got your back when things went sour." Enriquez joined in the fray.
"Guys, stop it!"
"Don't worry, there are many babes in the sea." Justine added the sentence that break Leon composure as he let his frustration.
"For the love of God! Don't give me your pity or say that my girlfriend would break up with me."
"You guys should stop it. I think our team leader should have his alone time." Siesta suggested out in the argument.
"That sounds a good idea." Mikey agreed on the idea
The room went silent again, as they kept their mouth shut from their leader outburst.
"I think we should give you some space." Rodriguez suggested as he leave the room as most of them are leaving the room.
"I would go now." Leslie said as he was the last to leave.
One by one, all of his team members departed out the room and the one left is Leon and Justine as they stand together quietly.
"Uhmm?" Justin makes the first word out from the silence.
"What!?" Leon makes an annoyed look on his second-in-command.
Justin make a big sigh and bring his courage to his friend and his leader. "What do you think she meant that?"
As the he heard those words, he thought of about it for a moment. Then relented and replied back in a perplexed voice.
"I don't know." He responded back. "Probably we didn't have enough time to date."
Justin make a clicking sound on his mouth like a imaginary lightbulb pop out on his head and replied back. "That's it, you should make it up with her from the lost time you missed."
"What?!" Leon raised his eyebrow at the answer, as he realizes on the answer. "So then how?"
"I don't know." Justine make a confused gesture. "Try to apologize her and make an romance date."
"I think I'd should say some sweet words to ease her and say sorry for the missing time."
"Good, I don't want see you wallow in sorrow." Justin put his fist on the chest and make a thumps up.
"I take a note that." He rolled his eyes upon his collegue.
As Leon about to leave the locker room. Justin make one word to his lieutenant.
"And El-tee."
"Yes."
"If she decided to break up with, I could make a mixer with my old college budd-." As Justin suggested his own backup plan. Leon immediately leave the room without listening to the suggestion.

Capital City of Qua-Toyne
Government Conference Area (Lotus Garden)
March 13, 2026 / 1639
A few days had passed since the leaders from both worlds had visited and signed their declaration of mutual cooperation. Following the agreement, the Earth leaders requested further discussions, and the leaders from the other world agreed, returning to their respective nations.
Now, a meeting was prepared with diplomats from the Philippines and the United States, alongside the Principality council members.
"Okay, give me a minute to set this up," Greenfield said, addressing the councilors who were curious about the American preparation. The natives of the New World watched in fascination as a metal panel with black-tinted glass and strange symbols on each side was placed on the table.
"How can this strange object communicate both voices and images?" a councilor asked his compatriots.
"It's probably one of their great inventions," another councilor suggested.
As Greenfield typed on the laptop, setting up an online meeting, it took a moment to load. When the call connected, the screens revealed two Presidents in a split-screen view.
"Well, here we go!" Greenfield said with satisfaction, showing the laptop screen to the councilors.
Prime Minister Kanata recognized the leaders on the screen as the Presidents of the Philippines and the United States.
"Hello, hello? Is it working? Can anyone hear me?" President Sanchez asked.
"Yes sir, we hear you loud and clear," Ambassador Abueva replied.
"How do I use this?" Kanata asked Greenfield.
"Just talk to it like you would with a person in your manacoms," Greenfield explained, and Kanata nodded in understanding.
"Uh, greetings? Can you hear me, Mr. Sanchez and Mr. Aiden?" Kanata spoke hesitantly into the device.
"We hear you, Prime Minister!" President Aiden responded loudly, startling everyone in the council room. "Is everyone fine over there?"
"We are all fine, currently with my council," Kanata replied.
The councilors peered closely at the screen, amazed by the technology.
"Greetings. I am President Emmanuel Sanchez of the Republic of the Philippines, with my advisors and ministers here," Sanchez introduced himself.
"And I'm President Ronald Aiden of the United States of America. My cabinet and ministers are also present. We are here to discuss diplomatic affairs," Aiden added.
"It's a pleasure to meet you through this wonderful device," Kanata said warmly. "What would you like to discuss?"
"We want to propose a joint military exercise to strengthen our relations and support your national defense," Sanchez explained calmly.
"We believe this exercise will help us understand your world better and assist your military in improving its operations. In return, your forces can learn from our military practices and enhance your national security," Aiden proposed confidently.
"From the Lourians?" Kanata asked.
"Yes, but also from other threats like piracy," Aiden replied.
The councilors were puzzled by the mention of piracy, but Sanchez clarified.
"After reviewing information about your national issues, we've learned that enforcing your territorial waters against pirates and smugglers is a challenge. Is that correct?" Sanchez asked.
"Yes," Kanata confirmed. "Pirates and smugglers have always been a problem in the Outside Civilization."
"Our military is experienced in dealing with pirates and smugglers. We can assist in securing your waters," Sanchez assured.
"Our Navy and Coast Guard have good experience in detaining pirates and smugglers. We can send a Naval Task Force to help," Aiden added proudly.
"What do you think?" Sanchez asked the Quatoyne council.
"Give us a moment to deliberate," Kanata requested.
As the Earth ambassadors left the room, the councilors discussed the proposal privately.
"What do you think?" Kanata asked his councilors.
"I'm not sure about this," Rinsui expressed, disturbed. "It seems suspicious."
"I'm tempted by their offer," the Military Minister admitted. "If they can remove the pirate threat where our navy failed, it would be impressive."
"I agree. This could secure our international trading routes and reduce losses," another councilor suggested.
"But can we trust their capabilities?" Rinsui interjected.
Kanata raised his hand to calm the room. "I understand your doubts, but I've seen their world. It could be beyond anything we know, perhaps even surpassing the Ancient Sorcerous Empire."
"Prime Minister, that's absurd!" Rinsui exclaimed.
"I'm sorry for such a statement, but they made a good impression on King Jamukha, and their world is indeed impressive," Kanata insisted.
"Let's vote," Kanata proposed. The majority raised their hands in favor, while some abstained or disagreed.
"As the majority agrees, let's bring the ambassadors back," Kanata declared.
The Earth ambassadors re-entered the room, and Greenfield set up the laptop again.
"So, what's your decision?" Sanchez asked.
"We have concluded to accept your offer," Kanata announced.
"Good!" Sanchez replied. "Let our military advisors help your nation's security, and we'll send a detachment of the Seventh Fleet for anti-piracy operations."
"I reckon you'll be impressed by the US Marines; they are fiery warriors on the battlefield," Aiden added with a laugh.
And thus, modern military met fantasy, setting the stage for an unprecedented collaboration.

Brewing Specialty Coffee Cafe
It was a cloudy afternoon when a Philippine Scout Ranger, Leon, entered to a cafe for a long-awaited meeting with his childhood girlfriend, Isabella. The air was heavy with anticipation as Leon made his way through the bustling café, determined to make this encounter one to remember. Little did he know, his world was about to be turned upside down.
As Leon approached their usual table tucked away in a cozy corner, he couldn't help but be captivated by Isabella's radiant beauty. Her soft brown curls cascaded down her shoulders, framing a face that held both tenderness and sadness. His heart ached at the sight of her, sensing something amiss.
"Isabella," Leon whispered, his voice filled with both longing and uncertainty. "I've missed you."
She looked up at him, her hazel eyes shimmering with unshed tears. "Leon, we need to talk."
A surge of anxiety coursed through his veins, and he took a seat across from her, preparing himself for the revelation that awaited. His mind raced, desperately trying to comprehend why the woman he loved seemed determined to sever the ties that bound them.
"Leon, our relationship... it's not going anywhere," Isabella said softly, her voice trembling with a mixture of sorrow and resolution. "I love you when our But with your constant deployments and my preoccupation with my work, I don't think the relationship won't work."
Leon's heart shattered into a thousand pieces, the weight of Isabella's words settling heavily upon his shoulders. He had always known the sacrifices involved in his line of work, but he had never imagined that they would cost him the person who held his heart so delicately.
"Isabella, please," Leon pleaded, his voice thick with emotion. "I love you more than life itself. I would do anything to make this work."
Tears streaming down her face, Isabella reached across the table, her hand seeking solace in the warmth of his touch. "I know you would, Leon. But we are in two different lives that we are separate to each other, I feel like it's weighing us down and it's better that we split apart."
Silence draped over them like a suffocating blanket as they sat, the weight of their unspoken hopes and dreams hanging in the air. Each passing moment pushed them further toward the edge of a decision neither wanted to make.
And then, with a mixture of sadness and acceptance, they made their choice.
A single tear trickled down Leon's cheek as he uttered the words that would forever change their lives. "If that want you wanted, then I release you from the confines of my love."
Isabella's sobs echoed through the café, the rawness of her pain reverberating within each shattered corner of their hearts. It was a bittersweet farewell, a testament to the love they had shared and the love they had lost.
As she left the cafe, Leon felt heart broken for his lack of communication with thier relationship. He understand on how she felt, when their love is beginning to move away everytime he focus to his job.
"It's probably the best for us." He muttered as she leave the cafe and away from his sight.
"Sir?" A waiter came to his table. "Do you want to order anything?"
He thought of something to alleviate his discomfort, he would want something to calm his nerves. "I want a large cup of espresso."
The waiter left him as he about to served him the ordered drink.
A ringtone called to his cellphone as he checked the call to be from Captain Tripoli.
"Hello sir?" He answered to the call.
"Lt. Garcia, it's good you answered your call. Am I interrupting something?" His Captain asked in concerned of him.
"No, I just finished my work today." He tried his best to speak fine to his superior officer.
"Good, we have a urgent staff meeting for all commanding officers in our company on tomorrow."
"Yes sir, I'm on my way." He replied back as the call ends with his large cup of espresso was served to table.
"Here's the payment." He payed the waiter as he grabbed his drink and left the cafe to returned to his military camp.

Camp Tecson, San Miguel
Leon walked through the camp halls, moving into the conference room, but he was met with an familiar face on the hall.
"Hey Leon!" The man greeted him as he walked beside him as they are moving together.
"Oh it's you Ernesto!" Leon responded back to the man in surprised manner.
Second Lieutenant Ernesto Brosas, he met him at the Philippine Military Academy, as they are both enrolled there for an unusual reason. They become friends after few weeks and they both enlisted to the Philippine Army and later joined the Scout Rangers. They are now become the commanding officers of their own squads.
"What's with the long face?" Ernesto asked to his friend that have a sad-looking face. "Did something happen to you?"
"It's just Isabella we-." He tried to reveal the recent breakup to his close friend. But felt anxious to talk about it. "We decided to break up."
Ernesto widen his eyes and opened his mouth to shouted. "What!"
The loud shout make the staff and officers surprised on the sudden outbursts.
"Shhh!" Leon make a shushing handsign as he quiet his friend. "Quiet down, I don't want the others to hear about it."
"Sorry, I just shocked from the sudden break up." Ernesto explain his outburst. "But why so sudden, did she cheated on you."
"No." He dejected that possibility. "Its our matter of work, she work in an intelligence agency on NICA and I worked as a Scout Ranger, both of our jobs make our relationships to be difficultto have proper relationship, I think it's better to go back as friends and meet other people."
"Really?" Ernesto replied in a concerned tone. "Are you fine with that?"
"Yeah." He asked in a bit of confidence to his word. "Let's change the subject, I don't want to dwell on that."
"Okay, just tell me if something is up."
"So, what do you think this rushed staff meeting is about?" Leon asked his friend about the sudden announcement from their CO.
"I heard rumors."
"Rumors?"
"Yeah, I heard our battalion would be deployed on the New World."
"The one on Manila Bay?"
"Yeah, you heard the news about it."
"Not much." Leon was unsure about the recent news. "I have been deployed on a recent mission before I heard the latest news report."
"Well, there was a live meeting of our President and the POTUS with the invited New World leaders to the Capital."
"What do they look like?"
Ernesto rubbed his chin to remember the appearance. "Well, I saw information and pictures given by the government in the internet, and seeing them on live television is amazing."
"So what are they?" He asked in deep curiosity.
"They are fantasy people from a real fantasy world." Ernesto blurted out in excitement as he spoke out.
There was a short silence between the two men till Leon break the moment.
"Are you serious?" Leon make a cringed face as he hear the answer. "Is your anime addiction finally taken your mind."
"I'm serious!" Ernesto grabbed his cellphone and search something on it. "Here's a video on the meeting."
Leon looked at the cellphone and watched the entire video. His eyes widen and gaped his mouth open as he was shocked from the video.
He saw a blonde man in a royal robes, but the notable features is the ears is elongated that like a fantasy elf would have. A another man with thick hair on his body and head as he have animal ears and a cat like face on the man head, with a tail on his royal robe.
"Wait! This is real?" He spoked out in surprised.
"Yeah it's real like to be fantasy waifu." Ernesto said in a smirk face. "Imagine that world is a fantasy anime world like in Konosuba or Mushoku Tensei."
"Well I hope that there's is no overpowered dudes that can slice through tanks armor using a sword or blow up a warship by OP magic spells."
"No worries." He make a smile to Leon. "From the looks on things on the news, it would be fine, as long nobody fires the first shots."
"So why send the military?' Leon asked about the sudden deployment.
"I don't know?" Ernesto makes an dumbfounded expression. "Maybe to protect oil in the New World."
"Nah, the Americans would caught up for that shit."
"We kinda really found oil in the New World."
Leon stopped walking and looked serious to his friend. "Wait seriously?!"
"Yeah, on what the Internet have been released in the public atleast."
"So that's why their are anti-imperialist parade in my way back here."
Leon remember an massive traffic jam from his return to the camp, as crowd of protestor are blocking the street making anti-imperialistic policy and neo-colonialism in his country. Didn't understand the reason till now.
"That would make fucking sense." He exclaimed as he rubbed his forehead from the long wait in the traffic jam.
As they finshed their talks, they walked to the conference room, there are guards blocking the door. They show their identification cards and they entered the room.
Inside the conference room are dozens of Scout Ranger officers, all of them are seated in their designated chairs. Their Battalion commander, Lt. Colonel Bernie Kassandra, is standing infront of them with a projector on his sides.
"Alright boys and girls, listen up!" A supposed high ranking officer said as he stood in front.
The man is Lt. Colonel Kassandra, the commander officer of the 1st Scout Ranger Regiment. He have an eager and rough face and serious eyebrow.
"We have received an order by the President that a scheduled military demonstration exercise with the United States on the New World."
The officers began to whisper each other as they were surprised on the news.
"Alright quiet down, I'm talking on the Ring on the Capital that is connected to the New World." The Lt. Colonel hushed the audience.
"I know you are excited, nervous or conflicted on such a deployment, but it's just a military demonstration exercise to show our military power and gained good reputation on natives on that world."
"Uhm, sir?" Ernesto raised his hand in question. "What is our purpose on having a military exercise on this world?"
"Good answer, Lieutenant Brosas." Lt. Colonel Kassandra replied back. "The country that we are having our exercise is called the Qua-Toyne Principality with their close allies the Quila Kingdom, as they have a aggressive neighbor nation called the Louria Kingdom. That nation have racial discrimination toward the other species on that world, even at both nations populaces."
"Our country and the United States have economic and political ties with both nations and the possibility of the Lourians will threaten our new borders in the Ring."
"So it's our best interest to withhold their sovereignty and increased our reputation to the New World and the international community."
The projector lights up and show a port city that is very different from a typical Philippine port. With big wooden ships on sails and architecture looks like from the Mediterranean.
"This is the port city of Maihark, the Principality port city that we will depart your ships and entered the city. The area that we will be conducting our is much farther than the city to avoid collateral damages in our operations."
The projection changes to show the inhabitants on the New World, it show different humanoid species being taken a picture from a photographer in the city.
"And here are the inhabitants of this world. He then keeps on changing the slides to collerating the races of the picture. We have humans, elves, dwarves, demi-humans, and beastmen in this world.""
The room begins to be reverberating in faint conversations and murmuring on the matter of the subject.
"Holy shit, they are all real." Ernesto silently whispered to Leon. "It's a goddamn real-life fantasy world that came out in a isekai anime."
"Yeah." Leon agreed to him. "But the colonel is having that face saying otherwise."
The Battalion Commander have a dead serious look to the audience as he start on the New World inhabitants as they began to shocked from the relevation.
"Alright, I know it's shocking that aliens exist in a fantasy world that we all know that in the media." He scowled in a serious tone.
"But remember this, when you entered the New World." He said in emphasis in this phrase.
"Don't not fuck with the inhabitants of the New World in a figurative and literal way"
He then explained the rationale of his statement.
"I don't want to hear a complaint from their government and ours that you accidentally make a scene to the locals, and shatter the new relations. Also, I don't want to hear child support from a prostitute that one of your men decided to bang an elf."
A small chuckle from the crowd came out, but the Lt. Colonel stays serious on the matter.
"Y'all will be given documents on the New World and it's details to your own desks."
"Alright, any questions?" He asked one more to the crowd, they stayed silent.
"Then good." He then turned off the projector and says his farewell. "You may leave the room."
The officers stand up on their chairs and leave in a orderly manner.
As Leon and Ernesto left the room and expressed their views on the meeting.
"Well that's something." Leon tried to comment on their seminar.
"I think it would be exciting to see a whole another world, especially a fantasy world at the very least." Ernesto asked in a positive manner.
"We should inform our squad about this revelation," Leon said in a disturbed voice. "I'm sure that some of them would be excited to be deployed on the New World."
...
"We are going to the New World!" Justine wailed in excitement as he heard the news.
They are in their own barracks for their squad, as they are being gather to be informed by their CO.
"Yes," Leon affirms the statement. "We are going to the New World for a joint exercise with the United States and the nations on the other side.
The entire squad went enthusiastic after hearing the news. Leon was taken ashocked from his team sudden excitement.
"Sir, is it true that it's a fantasy world over there?" Mikey asked in a curious question.
He scratched his chin and think about the details. "Yes, it was confirmed by high command even thought it was ridiculous at first, the truth is much stranger than fiction as one's thought."
"Oh my god!" Mikey responded in shocked. "So those isekai anime and lightnovels are true."
"So it's genuine from the internet and the news that it's a fantasy world out there." Justine added as he felt a mind blown moment.
"Is there a reason on why we are going to the New World?" Siesta questioned on the deployment.
Leon make a sighed and replied back to his contactman.
"Well, the higher ups and the head of state have ordered a demonstration exercise and maritime security operations in the other world."
"I heard the country have troubles with their neighbor that have shown aggression and expansion tendencies to their borders. Our objective in the exercise is to make a show of force and deescalate the conflict."
"And why the Philippines have to participate in this exercise?" Siesta asked in question on the action. "It's not like we have a obligation this type of conflict."
"I know what you are thinking, but it would be problematic if this aggressive country subjugated the nation that is near to a portal that connected to our country's capital city." Leon casually answered as he frowned on the consequences.
"So when is our deployment date?" Rodriguez asked a question.
"It's not yet officially set, it's on next week that we are about to ready out." He replied back with unsure to the answer. "So have fun to your remaining vacation, because we have to move out on the go."
...
Author's Notes:
This is where the military scenes and action start to unfold. First, I'll introduce the inhabitants of the new world to the power of gunpowder and steel. Like many Gate and Summoning Japan fans, I'm eager to depict their reactions to the capabilities of modern military technology.
In my research on military logistics and naval deployment, I realized the challenges involved in sending forces through the Ring. It's impractical to summon the entire US 3rd Marine Division or the Philippine Navy to the New World. Such a deployment would weaken their military capabilities in our world, making power projection from the New World difficult.
Additionally, a new player from our world will join our band of mischief, adding another layer of complexity and excitement to the story.
