As punishment for giving away his flaming sword, Heaven takes Aziraphale's wings, with the promise to return them once he has earned their forgiveness. But that's difficult to do when you're in love with a demon like Crowley. Especially when Crowley doesn't even know he's an angel. Ineffable husbands, T for language and offscreen violence

Just because he loves seeing Aziraphale happy, Crowley agrees to go to a place the angel has wanted to visit for a long time. "And tell me, Anthony... " continues the magician. "Are you married? Can demons get married?"- "As a matter of fact, yes," Crowley answers, snapping his fingers and a ring appears on his hand and another on Aziraphale's. "I'm here on vacation with him."

"And that was the last I was to see of Crowley. For quite some time." wrote Aziraphale in his diary. Here is my take on what hellish consequences our demon had to face in that time between 1827 when he saved Elspeth and 1862 when he asked Aziraphale for insurance. -complete-
