This is my second fan fiction story which is the sequel to my first fan fiction story called "Sonic and Star in Adventure in Mewni", if you haven't yet, please read "Sonic and Star in Adventure in Mewni" if you get the chance. In the last chapter Star fought against Solaria and won followed by a classic SVTFE plot twist. Eclipsa, Janna and Moon brought G.U.N to New Mewni, and now our heroes and villains face off in the final battle. Let's see what happens in this chapter of...

Chapter 16 - Vs Egg Gloomfly
Egg Gloomfly Chamber, Solarian Base, New Mewni
The final battle has begun. Egg Gloomfly's eyes began to glow purple and shot a purple laser from its eyes, forcing our heroes to break off their attack to dodge the laser. Then Mina rush in at Star who quickly us her energy sword to block Mina's sword as Solarian Warriors come out from a hidden room somewhere in the dome shaped chamber, forcing Marco, Shadow, Dr. Eggman, Rouge, Pony Head and Tom to fight off the waves of Solarian Warriors while Star fight off Mina alone. Meanwhile Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles has to face Eggman Nega in his Egg Gloomfly mech. Luckily Tails noticed some large platform floating above them and convince Sonic and Knuckles to lead Egg Gloomfly up to the platforms, so their friends won't get caught in the crossfire.
"This is one creepy mech you built Eggman Nega, but still, a giant metal skull with ominous butterfly wings that shoot laser from its eyes. You must be losing your touch." taunt Sonic on the platform facing the skull mech. Then Eggman Nega replied, "Oh yeah well... GET A LOAD OF THIS." THEN Eggman Nega push a button in his cockpit. Egg Gloomfly's skull mouth open to reveal a cannon like weapon in its mouth and it began to glow dark purple within the cannon's barrel.
Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles, without a word quickly move about of the way just in time as Eggman Nega shouted, "FIRE". Suddenly the cannon shot out a dark purple energy projectile with the shape of a creepy skull with butterfly like wings, the projectile fly pass Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles and impact the roof leaving behind a hole in the projectile's creepy shape which shocked Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles after witnessing Egg Gloomfly's true power, a weaponized Spell with No Name. Star told them about this spell during their first adventure on New Mewni and how destructive it is, now Eggman Nega turned Eclipsa's most dark and dangerous spell into a fully weaponized spell that could wipe out anything, all the more reason why they must destroy Egg Gloomfly before Eggman Nega or Mina Loveberry could unleash it onto New Mewni.
Meanwhile Star, even after witnessing Egg Gloomfly's superweapon, she continues to fight off Mina alone, however Star is a little weaken after her battle with Solaria and is having a hard time holding off Mina's attack, but she's determined to stop Mina, destroy Egg Gloomfly, and save both Meteora and New Mewni. So she kept fighting against Mina. However, Mina managed to step on Star's foot, on purpose, which make Star lose her focus and then Mina knock Star's sword out of her hands which that blue energy sword turned back into a wand as it landed on the floor. Then Mina kick Star, forcing Star to fell to the ground on her back.
"Well mud sister, your luck has finally run out." began Mina as she rise her sword, "Finally it's time for you to face my justice Star Butterfly."
Mina was about to strike, but a red, lightning bolt shaped energy blade blocked Mina's strike from out of nowhere, saving Star's life as suddenly fight between Solarian Warriors and the rest of our heroes stopped after witnessing Solaria saving Star from Mina. Even Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Eggman Nega stopped to see what's happening after noticing that everyone stopped fight and staring at the clone of Solaria Butterfly.
"Justice... JUSTICE? If this is YOUR justice, then this is bad comedy you little TRAITOR!" shouted Solaria who stared angrily at Mina. Mina, confused on what Solaria is doing replied, "M... My Queen, what are you doing... Star Butterfly is the real traitor, not me."
Star quickly move herself out of the way from Solaria and Mina as both Solarian leaders argue with each other.
"Oh so planning on killing my granddaughter Meteora with this giant metal skull abomination with wings that can shoot a weaponized Spell with No Name is justice! That's not justice, that is basically the opposite of justice!"
"But... my queen this is our chance to finally rid Mewni of vile evil monsters and give it back to the mewmans."
"A Mewni that no longer exist and is replace with New Mewni and right now I see two vile evil monsters, Eggman Nega and you Mina Loveberry!"
"OMG, I don't know what's happening, but I prettier sure those are fighting words." Pony Head said to herself as she witnesses Solaria and Mina arguing.
"But my que-"
"I AM NOT YOUR QUEEN, I AM A CLONE YOU ASK EGGMAN NEGA TO CREATE TO BETTER LEAD YOU ARMY OF CRAZY GREEDING NOBLES!" I found about the whole true Loveberry, about Eclipsa, Meteora, Shastacan, the Realm of Magic's destruction, everything.
"WHAT BUT HOW..."
"You can thank the real Solaria. Now I maybe a clone, but I still have authority as Solaria Butterfly and as Solaria I am ordering you and all Solarian Warriors to stand down and surrender." silence fell into the chamber after Solaria order Mina to stand down, but then Mina suddenly began to laugh insanely.
"HAHAHAHAHA I can't believe I could have thought a clone of my queen could replace the real deal. I think I was wrong. Fine if you're not with me clone then you are my enemy." then all of the sudden Mina swings her energy blade at Solaria to which the clone blocked with her own blade, then Solaria yelled to Star, "Go destroy that machine and save the world, I'll deal with Mina." then without a word, Star rush up to garb her wand and use a spell to get herself to Sonic on the platform while Solaria and Mina strike their blades at each other.
"Something tells me this is not the first time this happened Diaz?"
"A crazy mind blown plot twist? Yes Shadow, me and Star encounter some kind of plot twist a few times before." answered Marco as they and the Solarian Warriors began to fight each other again while Star join Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles to fight against Egg Gloomfly as they avoid the mech's attacks while laying some hits on the mech itself. Meanwhile Solaria and Mina swings their swords at each other with all their strength.
Just outside of the Solarian Base
Meanwhile we find Eclipsa, Globgor, Moon, River, Janna, the G.U.N Commander and a bunch of G.U.N soldiers and robots slowly walk up to the Solarian Base and noticed a whole bunch of broken robot parts while arresting some Solarian Warriors as those knocked out warriors regain consciousness. They also noticed a large hole in the metal door which leads into the base itself.
"My best guess is that Star and her friends come through here?" River said after examining the area with a spear in hand as the Commander noticed the spear as asked, "You do realize that a spear wouldn't do any actual damage to a robot right?"
"Preposterous, this spear got me through some incredible hunts including the Bogbeast of Boggabah. I never leave home without it." answered River which confused the Commander as he turns to Moon for answers.
"Bogbeast of Boggabah?"
"It's a long story, but right now we should hurry and find Star and Sonic in this Solarian Base." spoke Moon. Then the G.U.N Commander ordered his teams of soldiers and robots to move in and secure the path Star and her friends left behind earlier and began their way into the base.
Egg Gloomfly Chamber, Solarian Base
Back to our heroes. We find Star, Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles continue to battle against Egg Gloomfly piloted by Eggman Nega. "OH HOLD STILL SO I CAN DESTROY YOU, YOU ANNOYING PEST!" yelled Eggman Nega as he fired another Spell with No Name at our heroes on the platform to which our heroes successfully dodge it. Star is kind of impress that a machine that shoot out a weaponized Spell with No Name without chanting the spell or using a wand to cast the spell. But she is mostly impressed that this chamber can withstand the Spell with No Name, Eggman Nega must have done his research just like Dr. Eggman when he teams up with Seth two months ago when he found a way to use the Master Emerald to restore Star's wand and use it for his Solarian Death Egg Robot.
"Star! Is there any way to defeat, let alone stop the Spell with No Name, anything at all?" asked Sonic while he and Star dodge along laser eye attack from the Egg Gloomfly. Star replied, "Well no, not that I know of all I know from Eclipsa and my mom that just using the spell with have an awful effect of the body."
"What kind of effects?" asked Tails as avoid a missile launched from Egg Gloomfly to which Star replied as she use Mega Narwhal Blast on Egg Gloomfly. "Well the spell will spread a weird dark purple with purple vein sprouting on her arms as if the spell itself drained you. Eclipsa did told me a theory that if someone use the spell too much, it could kill the spell caster."
Star still remember about asked Eclipsa about the Spell with No Name the day after New Mewni was formed which Eclipsa told her a dark, possible theory that the Spell with No Name could kill its summoner by draining magic along possibly their life force energy. Eclipsa never actually thought about the spell's effects on the caster until Star asked her. That's when Tails got an idea.
"So you and Eclipsa think the Spell with No Name drains energy of the caster's body."
"Yes... to I get it, the Spell with No Name, even a weaponized version needs a whole lot of energy and since Egg Gloomfly is a machine and not a organic body."
"No doubt the Spell with No Name could drain more energy and even if it's powered by Chaos Emeralds, if we get Eggman Nega to use the Spell with No Name multiple times, the spell could overheat Egg Gloomfly which could give Sonic a chance to do some real damage to it."
"Well it's the only plan we got against Egg Gloomfly, then let's doing. Star, you may want to get Meteora out of the cage in case we need to escape if Egg Gloomfly bring the roof down on us. We'll handle Eggman Nega." said Sonic.
"Got it." Star replied and jumped off the use a spell to get herself safety down beside Meteora's cage and luckily Marco noticed Star and rush up to her. "Marco, we need to get Meteora out of that cage right now."
"Sure thing Star." replied Marco as he and Star rush up to Meteora's cage and try to open the cage. Star try to use magic on the cage, but it seems that the cage is somehow magic proof, so they can't open it with magic. So Marco suggested to Star that they do it the old-fashioned way, then he pulls out a hair pin from his pockets which he glad he brought with him just in case and began to use the hair pin as a lockpick in the cage's lock.
Meanwhile back to Sonic on the platform, he began to put Tails' plan in motion. "Yo Eggman Nega, that Spell with No Name is no match for my speed, are you sure you're arming that thing right Egg Salad Neo." taunt Sonic forcing Eggman Nega to focus on him. "I don't think you can even hit a fly with that giant energy projectile."
"WHY YOU LITTLE... DIE HEDGEHOG!" shouted Eggman Nega as he fired a Spell with No Name projectile at Sonic to which the blue hedgehog simply dodges and taunt Eggman Nega some more making him focus on him.
"Like I said Egg Salad Neo, That Spell with No Name is no match for my speed. So try all you want, you can never get me."
"OK THEN CHALLENGE ACCPET HEDGEHOG! MAXIMUM POWER TO THE SPELL NO NAME CANNON! FIRE!" shouted Eggman Nega and began to fire the Spell with No Name at Sonic who keep dodging it multiple times. Meanwhile Solaria and Mina continue their sword battle in front of Meteora's cage as Star and Marco try to unlock the cage.
"I trusted you. The original Solaria trust you and the Magic High Commission, and you try to kill my only daughter and her family all because you didn't like a idea where mewmans and monster could coexist in harmony. I am so glad that Glossaryck and the ghost of the real Solaria opened my eyes."
"A world where monsters use magic to terrorize mewmans I DO THINK SO. Beside you, the real Solaria started all of this centuries ago." replied Mina as she swings her blade at Solaria but Solaria block it with her blade as Solaria replied, "Only because my mind as the real Solaria was not in the right place, but now as a clone, I been given a second chance to correct my mistakes and to make amends. If I have known you'll go insane I will never have made you a Solarian Warrior or created that stupid super soldier spell which created the Solarian Warriors."
Then Mina noticed Star and Marco and realize what they are doing. Solaria saw a opportunity and rush towards Mina and use enough forces to knock Mina's sword out of her hand and push Mina to the ground and raise her blade that Mina and said, "Don't you even dare try to get back up Mina." Some of the Solarian Warriors noticed Solaria defeated Mina which spread among to the other warriors with a confuse expressions on their faces trying to decide to either continue to fight or stand down. They out number our heroes. But they did witness Sonic and his friends' skills combined with Star and her friends' and now that Solaria switch sides, they now know they are no match for our heroes. So the Solarian Warriors dropped their weapons and flee out of the Egg Gloomfly chambers.
"HEY WAIT COME BACK WARRIORS, WE STILL OUT NUMBER THESE DOORMATS!?" shouted Mina, but the Solarians were too scared to continue the fight and just ignored Mina. That when Meteora's cage was unlocked and Star open the cage and grab Meteora as the hybrid baby giggled, happy to see Star.
"NNNNOOOOOOOO" yelled Mina as she saw Star hold Meteora in her arms. Meanwhile back to Sonic, he been dodging Spell No Name projectiles fired from Egg Gloomfly for a minute now hoping Tails' plan to overheat Egg Gloomfly will happen anytime. "AAAAAAHHHHHHH WHY WON'T YOU JUST STAY PUT SO I CAN WIPE THAT SMILE OFF YOUR FACE SONIC!" shouted and then suddenly the cockpit glow red with alarms going off and a computer voice saying, "WARNING WARNING, Egg Gloomfly Spell with No Name cannon overheating, all systems except hover engine system shutting down".
"WHAT NO!"
"YO EGGMAN NEGA." shouted Sonic from above him. Eggman Nega look up to find Sonic holding on to Tails as the fox using his twin tails to fly above Egg Gloomfly and then Sonic and Tails both together spin dash in mid-air, giving Sonic enough force to finish Egg Gloomfly once and for all. Then Tails let go of Sonic and the blue hedgehog spin dash hitting Egg Gloomfly which forces the two Chaos Emeralds and the Master Emerald shards that the Solarians gathered to fly out of Egg Gloomfly. Tails quickly glad Sonic while he and Tails glad to two Chaos Emeralds and Knuckles to grab the emerald shards as Egg Gloomfly slowly began to fall to the ground founded by small chains of explosions.
"LOOK OUT BELOW!" shouted Sonic to Star and the others warning everyone on the ground about Egg Gloomfly falling down towards them. Star, Marco, Solaria, and everyone else noticed Egg Gloomfly falling and rush to a safe distance. Mina however didn't have time to escape as Egg Gloomfly crash right on top of her and exploded which launched Eggman Nega and Mina Loveberry, in some form of bizarre miracle survived the Egg Gloomfly's explosion, and landed in front out of Sonic, Star, their friends, Meteora, Solaria and Dr. Eggman who stare at the defeated villains as suddenly Globgor crash through the door which our heroes entered earlier, followed by Star's parents, Janna, the G.U.N Commander, Eclipsa and the bunch of G.U.N soldiers and robots.
"Stop right there... SERIOUSLY... did we missed the whole final battle." asked Globgor as he and everyone else who just enter the chamber notices what's left of Egg Gloomfly, a defeated Eggman Nega and Mina Loveberry, and our heroes plus Dr. Eggman and Solaria looking back at them. Then Star replied, "Um... yeah pretty much."
"Oh man, I was hoping I could join in on the fun." said River a little sad knowing that he missed the whole thing. Then the Commander replied, "Well this could explain why those Solarians we encountered earlier were running away."
