The Round House of Pacopolis was buzzing with activity. Party decorations were being hung up all over. A big celebration was going to happen in a few days.
Pac's friends, Spiral and Cyli, were helping to set up the decor. "Wow! I still can't believe we're throwing the party here! At the Round House!" Spiral exclaimed as he reached into a box to get more decorations. "I know, right?" Cyli agreed while painting on a big party banner.
The Ghostly Gang suddenly rose up from the ground, scaring the other Pac Worlders. "Relax, folks. We come in peace, and with party invites," Blinky announced as they each held up a card. Each card had a picture of a classic Pac symbol with a party hat on its head.
Cyli and Spiral approached them as the ghouls noticed them. "Are you sure you guys can stay for the party without Betrayus knowing? Spiral asked. Inky chuckled and said, "He and over half the Netherworld are too sick to notice. The latest lame brain plan of 'Dr. Looney' self foiled when he released a sickness by accident." "Ghoul Flu to be exact," Clyde added. "Tee-hee. We were lucky that we were busy being invited to this party for Paccums when it happened," Pinky giggled.
"Wow! A party without Betrayus?! Pacster is going to be so excited when we tell him," Spiral exclaimed. "So where is the handsome lemon knight anyway?" Pinky asked as she looked around. "He and Elli are out taking care of the slug cams, so Betrayus won't see you guys at the party," Cyli answered. "Awww, what a good friend he is to us," Clyde said his siblings smiled in agreement. Pinky's face suddenly held anger as she floated up to Cyli's face. "HE'S WITH WHO!!??" she yelled.
Elsewhere, a slug cam was minding its own business, which was snooping in the business of others. Suddenly, it was wrapped in a long tongue. The tongue instantly pulled the slimy spy into the mouth of a yellow orb. This was the famous hero of Pac World, Pac Man, but his friends call him Pac.
"That's another slug cam we don't have to worry about," Pac said as he licked his lips. Elli, or Elliptica as her family called her, gave a light giggle. "I think we got all the slug cams around here now," Elli said. Pac smiled and turned to look at her. "Well, I never could've found most of them without you. Arrigatou, Elli," Pac said. Elli giggled in response. The pair's cheeks grew pink as they stared at each other.
"Hey, guys!" Blinky said as he came between them. His sudden arrival startled the pair as they fell down. "Sorry," the red ghost apologized. "It's okay, Blinky. We were finished with the slug cams anyways," Pac responded.
The pair noticed their friends nearby. Well, Inky and Clyde were holding back a fuming Pinky. "Don't do it, Pinky! She's the president's niece! He'll have our hides!" Inky pled. "And it would break Pac's heart," Clyde added.
"Well Pac, the Round House is almost ready for your birthday party," Cyli said. "And there will be no Betrayus! He's sick!" Spiral announced. "Wow! We finally get a party without any ghost problems!" Pac cheered as he jumped in the air with excitement. "With all the trouble Uncle B caused, you deserve to have a happy birthday," Elli said. Even though she and Betrayus were related, after her first adventure, the pair weren't actually close at all...
"Let's head back to the Round House. Everyone is waiting," Elli suggested as she put her helmet on and grabbed her hovercraft.
Thump!
A loud sound came from nearby. The sound caused Clyde and Inky to let go of Pinky, who looked around with surprise. "What was that sound?" she asked. "We better check it out," Cyli suggested as they all agreed. They all walked over towards the location of the sound and stood in awe of what was in front of them.
A giant yellow present with purple ribbons stood in front of them. "That is one humungo present," Pac said in awe. The box lid rose up as a megephone attached to a robot arm came out. "This present is for me, Toc Man," a mechanical voice announced through the megaphone. "Toc man?" Pac said with a chuckle. "Yeah, yeah, go ahead and laugh now. I need you to help me out here," the voice said. "How can we help?" Blinky asked. "You don't," the voice answered which confused them. "What I mean is, you can help..."
"BY BEING THE PRESENT!!"
Suddenly the robot arm retracted back into the box as a mechanical hand came out. As fast as a blink, it grabbed Pac and pulled him inside as the lid closed. "PAC!!" the others screamed. "Hey! Let me out of here! AAAAAAHHH!!" Pac exclaimed before screaming in pain. "Sorry if that shocked you, but I want my present to arrive without a fuss!" the voice announced and gave out a wicked mechanical laugh of victory.
Suddenly, the bow on top changed into helicopters propellets and rockets emerged on the sides. The present shot up and flew away. "I'm coming aisuru!" Elli exclaimed as she got on her hoverboard and flew after the evil present. "Elli wait!" Cyli called out, yet the girl continued to chase down the airborne parcel. Cyli desperately activated her watch phone. "Sir C! We have an emergency!" she said.
Well, unlike the game, they actually kidnapped the right yellow one. Probably because there was only one this time. Unfortunately for them, this yellow one has brave friends who will do anything for him!
