*This is ported by Wattpad, feel free to come by as I've focused on making stories there rather here*

Half way of Arc 1, and hopefully I will get more commentary for this story.

With that done, I am hoping for other Gacha Games to have a turn on the stories besides my Genshin Impact. After all, Blue Archive is nearby to be my third one to make... And I love Blue Archive lore-wise and characters.

Also watched the Blue Archive The Animation... This anime could've been what the Azur Lane The Animation should've been!

And some minor changes I want to work on, I decided to focus on Commander on all chapters, rather than other translations. So there are some edits on previous chapters.

But anyways, enjoy this chapter!

Now what to do...? Xavier sees he is at their base, but has no way to get out... Xena... This is how you would make my first step begin?! Now is not the time... Instead of escaping, he can contact the Azur Lane. That would work...

He steps out, very quietly, trying not to gain attention of the one guard standing outside who is Myoukou. He reaches to the other side, looking for some communication room... As he was going, until he accidentally saw a massive vessel within a short distance...

It was truly big, with dark metal material all around, and those lines that spread like wiring over the hull that looked to be slightly pulsing glowing red energy. This sight and its size makes the aircraft carrier look like a toy car...

Realizing, he is standing on a dock of this massive vessel, he needs to hide... Looking to see a way to get in... Found it. A bridge that reaches to the deck, he quietly runs there. Noticing in front, he quickly hides behind the stairs that are connected to a bridge... He peeks a look... To see a small white cat wearing an admiral navy hat... Is it a cat? Much to his confusion, that cat looked way too puffy as a normal cat, plus it's standing on two legs.

It was staring at him... Not much to do when this cat could potentially lead him into danger... As he waited for its next action... Which is still staring at him.

Great... He muttered, what is he gonna do? All it does is look at him, but it seems to not be interested or setting any alarm.

Not wanting to waste time. He rushes quietly, tip-toeing up the stairs, the cat gazes at him, before following him to the deck. He notices the cat is catching up, not that he minds, it's not an active threat. On the deck of the vessel, he can truly feel the scale of such size. It felt like it was on those long narrow highway roads...

Looking to his left, a hanger on the vessel, this must lead inside of the ship... He runs off with the cat still following, for a while he finally reaches, seeing how the door is super sealed tight. Glanced at the panel... How can he...

A single meow gained his attention, the cat was holding a card... A keycard!? He slowly takes it upon realizing it's helping him... What does it know...? No time to think what just happened, as the cat happily stares at him using it to unlock the door, opening the seal which he rushes in and the cat follows.

Inside, everything looks eerie and dark, with the red lines glowing, being the only source of light. The hallway feels narrow but vast... He continues running until he stops on a three way path. Crap... What now?

Then the cat meows again, as it hops in front of him. He looks down at the cat who is pointing a straight path ahead, guiding him...

"...Thanks." He spoke softly, as the cat meowed back. He kneels and reaches his hands to the cat, which happily hopes on his palms and onto his shoulder. And started to run the direction it was pointing at.

Running and running, like a never ending hallway. Until, they finally reached the end, a massive chamber, filled with the same look of the hallway itself. There is also a massive glass container at the end of the room, big enough to fit an entire person inside... What is it used for?

There he noticed the panels everywhere... One on the other side, it must be the control panel... The cat hops off his shoulder, heading to the panel on the right, landing on the desk of the panel waiting for him to come.

Recognizing its intention and direction, he goes there, tapping into the panel, a screen opens up. A logo of some kind loading up, its symbols shows a kind of giant snake head with multiple smaller snakeheads surrounding it, as it finally shows a normal screen. He looks around, searching for something... He found it. A communication channel.

The cat stares slightly as it hops down on the floor, watching him activate it in simple taps on the screen, and is ready to send the message! He types it down, sending it on an open channel to the Azur Lane Base. A moment occurs, as he sended the call...

Suddenly a dreadful feeling impacted him. The cat... It was silent... He turned to see a massive figure lurking at him, it was Orochi. As its sheer presence made him freeze... He looks down at where the cat is... Under its massive foot, with a puddle of red coming out...

He realized the fate of the cat, before he was grabbed...

adeness. Prince Of Wales and her companions have quickly left the mainland with a simple gratitude towards the Admiral revealing the information while not telling the others of the current situation. Now they are here at the island base, where the majority of girls are at the cafeteria hall witnessing Richelieu announcing the copied files of Xavier's profile.

Queen Elizabeth even felt bad for calling him out. Notable Kansens have somber and empathetic looks on their faces. Belfast, still trying to be stern but has a tint of sadness, Dido couldn't maintain her emotions, and all others learn of the fate of Xavier's sister, Xena Riese, who died in one of the missions, which one of them did participate... To think the second Commander's sister was part of their old missions...

"Yes, and thus he left the service having no faith from us nor the navy..." Wales concluded, as York and Exter looked at each other sympathetically.

"No wonder he was self-exiled..." Illustrious spoke up, as Unicorn closeby hugged her tight. "He lost a close bond..."

"Like us." Manchester added, solemnly mentioned of their loss.

"So now we know..." Howe whispered aloud.

"Yeah, but how can we still find him?" Washington questioned.

"That's not stopping us!" San Francisco remarked. "We'll search the entire ocean if possible!"

"Let's not go absurd..." Bearn suggested.

"I agree with Comrade!" Gangut speaks for San Francisco's comment.

The talk amongst the girls continues to grow larger as every other one speaks their thoughts and actions. Javelin was there, listening to them. She felt happy that nearly all of them saw the tragic story of Commande, but at the same time worried of what if the Commander is aware of them knowing his true story, the story he meant to hide...

Laffey notices her in thought, as she tapped her shoulder snapping her out of it. Javelin gasped and nodded at her while Laffey pokes her cheek. "You worry." She stated.

"Yeah, Commander won't like us to privy his stuff without permission right?" Javelin asked.

Laffey nodded, "But we now understand." She mentioned. "We would all go with Commander..." Javelin smiles at her, thinking she spoke such virtue kindness... "And I will sleep with him... In bed... We drink..." And Laffey goes as her usual self... Javelin sighed but couldn't help but admire it...

Just then, "EVERYONE!" Reno came in with Allen M Sumner, Ingraham, Bristol, and Cooper. This gained everyone's attention, as she is panting, catching her breath before speaking aloud. "We got a message from COMMANDER!" She mentioned Xavier's reveal.

"What!?" Wales exclaimed. "Where is he?" She asked.

Ingraham speaks up due to Reno's exhaustion, "We found his message and coordinates, apparently the Wisdom Cube has teleported him straight to Red Axis' base." She explained, leaving almost everyone shocked upon hearing the announcement.

"Rest assured! We have coordinates!" Cooper pointed out, smiling brightly due to such discovery. "We have to go!"

Rossiya nodded, "Yes, we must. And with our full force as well, we must go!" She got up, looking at her comrade, "Come, Kriov." She spoke as Kriov nodded and followed.

Richelieu smiled at their determination, and she turned to Bearn. "We have to go, make sure to announce it to others." Bearn nodded her command as she headed off. Almost all girls are heading off, Javelin and Laffey soon join the group. Operation: Save The Commander Commence!

Enterprise opens her eyes. Gazing around, only to see the bright orange sky as dusk occurs. She is somewhere unknown, the quiet and clear ocean she stands on as her steps make small ripples when she walks. Where is she?

Last time she recalled... She was alive after the fight with Orochi... She was so angry... Hornet... The Commander... She shook her head by the thought of him, she remembered when she arrived at the Azur Lane base.

Commander... Some kind of leader he is... Her expression shifted in frustration just by thinking of him...

"You are angry..." The same voice as her spoke up. She perked up, talking to herself. No, it said 'you', she turned to see someone, standing in front of her view. It's her... Or is it?

This Enterprise looks like her, but the clothes are tattered, as some kind of battle damage. Her violent eyes are more dull than her, now she looks more familiar. Upon realization, "You again..." Enterprise muttered aloud.

"Yes..." An alternate 'Enterprise' responded.

"What happened?" Enterprise asked.

"You are unconscious. They are taking care of you... Older sister is still in tears..." She stated.

"..." Enterprise is silent. "You appear, since Hornet..." She paused by that mention, "And now here." She added. "Why now, ever since last year when Commander was alive... You disappear..."

"We were... Founded... By an upcoming threat you'll soon encounter." She spoke, leading the Enterprise surprised.

"How...?" Enterprise questioned.

"Isn't it obvious? They are growing stronger. And now we are on the run..." Alternate 'Enterprise' explained the situation. "The Commander from my world has given us time for all of us to escape. Unfortunately he is now gone..."

"..." Enterprise cannot respond to what she just heard... "The others... Are they...?"

"I do not know..." She answered. "I am potentially all that's left of the Ashes..." She glances away as Enterprise can but stare at her. "...Which is why you must protect the Second Commander."

"Him...?" Enterprise exclaimed, "But why...?" She asked.

"It's because of what he can do..." She said, "You recall my sudden change since the last time you and your friends saw me..." Enterprise remains silent but mentally acknowledges it.

"You haven't explained..." Enterprise replied.

"Times have changed differently..." She stated. "But he is the reason for change and you must protect him."

"What can he do?" Enterprise questioned her alternate self. Her mind is conflicted, a potential ally from before has told her to protect the one that caused the downfall?

"You are doubting." Her alternate self speaks, "Just as always." She sighed.

"You know what happened..." Enterprise spoke back, "Yorktown is deeply hurt... Commander is forever gone... And Hornet... I... I cannot trust someone who couldn't care for others..." She said, with slight anger in her voice as her fist clenched.

"...Do you know my Commander?" She asked, making Enterprise confused, knowing that look she explains. "He was the one who helped me on my path since I lost my original Commander, and now he gave up his life for the rest of us."

Much to her confusion of this statement, Enterprise responded. "...What does that have to do with..."

"That Commander who saved... Is the one you have." She revealed, leading her to shock. "And now he's in the Red Axis Base, due to the Wisdom Cube I implanted at the terrorists base."

"The Wisdom Cube..." She now recalled the White Cube they found at the exiled islands. "It was you." Enterprise realized.

Her alternate self nodded, "I couldn't give it to you straight away." She explained. "Being discreet is the best course of action." Enterprise remains quiet; her expression is conflicted by this reveal. Then she spoke again, "You and the Commander have a lot in common."

"What?" Enterprise perked.

"Yes, he too had a sister. An older one, who works in the war we partake in, was lost during one of your final battles with the Commander you once had." She explained. "And since then, he isolated the emotions he once had, taking a darker path, like you have towards your close ones."

"..." Enterprise cannot speak from what she just learnt, all of this. Is there a reason why the files are confirmed to be missing, just like... The previous Commander? She needs to know something right now... "And where is he?"

"..." Response was silent, her alternate self noticed something, glancing away. "You will know. I must go." She said.

"Wait!" Enterprise calls out, trying to tempt her. She needs to know! How can she deal with this? Just now? Then everything flashes brightly, as she yells, but it is muffled by the light...

Gasped by breath. Enterprise has awakened, blurry vision until it clears...

"Enterprise!" Vestal's voice of relief spoke out as she now sees the Repair Kansen, she looks around to see herself in a medical bay. "...You're okay!" Her ears listen to the other words from Vestal who looks glad.

"Mmgh..." Enterprise grunted as she felt a huge physical pain all over her body.

Vestal fretted, going close to her, "Please, lie down, Enterprise." She demanded, "You are still too hurt in your current condition. Rest." She eased her up, placing her hands on her shoulders to push her down.

Enterprise wishes to ignore, but given her status... She complied, from her lowered body gesture and eases. "...What happened?" She asked.

Vestal looked worried, wondering how to explain... "Sister..." Yorktown's voice occurred, as she and Enterprise turned to see her in her clinic bed. Her expression looked sad but happy at the same time.

"Yorktown..." Enterprise muttered.

"I heard what you've done to him..." Yorktown replied, this caused her to be quiet, not wanting to refute what she's going to say... "And I know what you're gonna do..." She said, "Please, don't do this... Don't throw your anger at him..." She pleaded about what she did... "He is troubled, and..." She paused since she knew Xavier's past...

"..." Enterprise is not responsive. "...Where is he?" She asked calmly.

Yorktown is confused by her calm tone, "He went missing, and he was located by a signal at Red Axis' base." She explained.

"Red Axis? ...How?" She is surprised by this.

"We don't know how..." Yorktown whispered but loud enough for Enterprise to hear. "But they are already on the move..." She mentioned.

"...They are willing to go and save him..." Enterprise remarked looking away.

"Sister..." Yorktown whispered again, gaining her attention. "I know you have the right to feel angry, when I heard of your action from Vestal... I was shocked to hear you burst out..." Enterprise glanced at Vestal who is quiet in this conversation, but Yorktown continues, "And it shows you have been holding us away, just like him." She stated.

"...Yorktown?" Enterprise wondered what she meant by that.

"We've read the Commander's files thanks to the Admiral who has safely kept a copy only he can access to." Yorktown explained with somber, "And seeing what he went through... Just like you and Hornet... And..." She almost tears up again, as Vestal rushes in. "I don't want you to go through it." She cried. "You can't just throw your life like this..."

Seeing her older sister crying... She can't ignore that... Enterprise gazes at her and Vestal, then later glances at the wall. Her encounter with her Alter Self... Yorktown... After everything she's heard... She remains quiet, she can't do anything...

All she has to do is wait... But she needs to say something to her... 'He was the one who helped me on my path since I lost my original Commander, and now he gave up his life for the rest of us.' Those words she recalled, and this one, 'He too had a sister.' She needs to know...

"Okay..." She spoke, gaining Yorktown to stop her crying. She sees her younger sister, Enterprise looking downcast a bit, "So... Tell me about the Second Commander..." She softly said aloud. Yorktown is surprised by this, and wonders why she notices it... "You're right... I should not just hold back, if what you said is right... My anger has misplaced on him..." She explained. "So... Can you tell me more about him?"

Yorktown slowly smiled, then gently wiped her tears. She begins to explain from what she has heard, as Vestal observes this conversation smiling by seeing Ent

A loud smack, eyes opened, Xavier is awake. There he looks around to see someone around him... He tries to move, but his hands and legs won't budge. He finally notices, he is tied up to a chair inside the cave dock he once appeared in.

Seeing his surrounding guards clearly, he surely knows them... Ise, Hyuuga, Kinu, Emden, Bismarck... Then there's Kaga, and Akashi... So he has been found out by that... Orochi thing, standing besides Kaga and Akashi who seemed to be scared of the white kitsune...

"Nya! I swear, it's not like they are all cooperative!" Akashi reasoned with Kaga, just as she looked more scared by her silent glare.

"He's awake..." Emden spoke up as Kaga turned to her and Xavier himself. She walks up to the Commander, with the same glare once more.

"How did you get here?" Kaga demanded him.

"I cannot explain that easily..." Xavier replied.

Then Kaga grabs his shirt collar, pulling him closer, face to face. "Don't you lie, our location is discreet from others, and yet you appear, unarmed and unprepare upon your arrival as if you're on some scouting mission." She scolded him.

"Kaga, let's not attempt to damage the one who can explain." Bismarck remarked, retaining her professional stature.

"Agreed, dear sister, it is no use for him to speak like that." Kaga's grip is released. They all turned to see Akagi arriving upon the scene as she walked with elegance.

Bismarck spoke off, "Akagi, you arrived early. I thought your meeting with Nagato was important." She said, as Akagi got closer.

"It was... Until the news of a certain imposter arrived, undetected." Akagi glanced at Xavier, "Now, the truth shall be demanded." She kneels to him, due to his seating. "Tell us."

Xavier remains silent, until he notices the White Wisdom Cube is being set on a table, "...It was that Wisdom Cube." He gestured his head at the Cube.

Akagi remains intrigued, but Bismarck speaks, "Impossible. Nothing has been discovered upon that Cube, it's empty of data." She stated. "What you have is somehow a shell of what used to be our source of creation."

"I know. But that cube is beyond something from your code." Xavier replied back. "That's the truth."

"Hm... Not a single trace of a lie." Akagi smiled, in a creepy way.

Emden scoffed, "That can't be it. What if he hides the Cube's capabilities?" She questioned whilst glaring at him.

"In all time, it will come..." Akagi assured her, returning her gaze at Xavier. "Now, with you contained, you will be our guinea pig and hostage in case the pesky Azur Lane tries to attack." She playfully mocked his position.

"Akagi..." Xavier's voice speaks of concern, something that's out of the ordinary from Akagi's hearing due to her reaction of slight surprise. "Listen, you can't do this, whatever this Orochi you have, it's not normal."

"Watch your mouth." Akagi refuted him with a harsh tone, as she grabbed his face with a firm grip, examining him. "You don't speak for Akagi's concern, where is your soulless take?" She questioned him as she let go.

"That's changed." Xavier remarked.

"Because of what?" Akagi glared at him.

"A certain promise..." Xavier muttered, recalling his sister's last words, as much as he wanted to deny it... She is his only hope. And he can't break it...

Akagi is angry... For a reason, all the sudden, this husk wants to stop? With those eyes?! She glanced at the Wisdom Cube, this must've done something to him. She turns to Kaga and Bismarck, walking to them leaving behind the tied Xavier.

"What is it?" Kaga asked.

"He is different from last time..." Akagi mentioned the last encounter.

"It can't be..." Kaga scoffed.

"He did say the Cube showed him something..." Bismarck recalled his explanation. "It seems more mysterious as it is..." She glanced at the White glowing Wisdom Cube, which she turned to Akashi who panicked seeing her gaze. "We can discuss your Meowofficer's sudden betrayal later. We need more observations on that Wisdom Cube again."

"Nya!? But I can't find anything important inside!" Akashi worried. Suddenly the alarm blares, "Nya?! What is happening?!" She exclaimed.

"We're being detected!" Ise yelled.

Emden stares at Xavier, as her frustration occurs, "You managed to contact them!" She accused him.

Xavier responded with a neutral tone, "Your technology with Orochi isn't that hard to access." He stated.

Emden growled but Bismarck spoke, "No time, we must defend." She heads out, before speaking to Ise and Hyuuga, "Keep him occupied." The two nodded, as Bismarck landed on the water beside the dock and heads out.

Emden and Kinu follow, Kaga comes up to Akagi who's gazing at the alarm, "SIster, we must go." She told her.

Akagi noticed, "Ah, right." She said, turning to Orochi, "Orochi with me." Her command made the tall humanoid robot beast awake and followed her. She and Kaga go, while staring at Xavier, "Your pitiful rescue won't be successful." She and Kaga jump off onto the water, followed by Orochi.

Xavier watches them go, hopefully the Azur Lane knows what they are doing...

At the ocean, a whole massive fleet is moving at rapid speed towards an island they now see in sight! The water ripples hard due to their speed. In the lead, Rossiya, Richelieu, Queen Elizabeth, and Yat San, followed by the others, such as Warspite, Javelin, Laffey, Reno, Baltimore, Washington, and many more are close by.

"There!" Rossiya pointed at the island.

"Well, do we have a plan for something like this?" Queen Elizabeth asked, then suddenly they saw an incoming projectile coming towards them! Just then Warspite managed to notice and jump in time, summoning her sword and blocking it that was meant to hit Elizabeth. The force pushed her and knocked the Queen herself.

"Apologies, your majesty!" Warspite grunted by the recoil.

"Ugh!" Queen Elizabeth quickly recovers, "What is the actual plan!?" She exclaimed.

"We need to find a way to rescue Commander!" Yat Sen mentions, as more projectiles come in as a barrage. Everyone starts to avoid the incoming fire with their agility. "It will be a rush in attack, just something to take them off guard!"

"Ha...?" Elizabeth perked up, "Like the tactic Blitzkrieg by the Iron Blood?" She asked.

"Correct." Rossiya avoided the shots, "Either way, we need to get him before they can do something to him!" She demanded.

"Right!" Elizabeth remarked, just as that, they see the incoming force of Kansen coming at them as well.

The Red Axis has deployed their own forces, Javelin and Laffey soon notice that Ayanami and Nimi are amongst them. The others also saw familiar faces, Jean Bart, Taihou, Mogami, Prinz Eugen, Karlsruhe, Köln, Königsberg, and many more.

"This is it..." Prince Of Wales glared, ready to fight. "For Commander!" She yelled.

The two sides clashed...

First half of Arc 1 is done. I'll be taking a mid-season break, and be focusing on other stories I currently have (notably Chainsaw Man: Mania being next - Pls read that in my profile).

So how is the first half of the Fanfic? That means six chapters/episodes is remaining after the first six. I would like some commentary based on how the story goes, and what hype can lead up for the remaining chapters.

I'll try my best to involve more Kansens aka Ship Girls in later chapters.
