On May 25, the world of entertainment lost a great legend. Richard M. Sherman, one half of the songwriting duo The Sherman Brothers, who was responsible for songs in films like Mary Poppins and The Jungle Book, passed away at age 95. This is also dedicated to Glynis Johns (Winifred Banks from Mary Poppins), who passed away on January 4 at age 100.

Following their first adventure/rescue mission in Princess Adventure Club, Zooey comes up with the idea for a club song. But even though one member finds the song a little hurtful, Sofia manages to comfort him and assure him that he's welcome in the group too. Mary Poppins' music is not mine, and on a more serious note, rest in peace Glynnis Johns and Richard M. Sherman.

Zooey: We're clearly soldiers in petticoats

Amber (spoken): And tiaras!

Zooey: And dauntless crusaders for women's votes
Though we adore men individually
We agree that as a group they're rather stupid

{Lakshmi/Kari/Hildegard/Vivian/Cleo/Amber: (giggling)}

Sofia (spoken as Chad pouts): Don't listen to them; we're glad you're with us too, Chad!

(Princesses {spoken as they pull Chad into a group hug}: That's right!)

Zooey: Cast off the shackles of yesterday!
Shoulder to shoulder into the fray!

Our daughters' daughters will adore us
And they'll sing in grateful chorus:
"Well done, Princess Adventure Club!"

From Ramblingham to Freezenburg, one hears the restless cries
From ev'ry corner of the land: "Womankind, arise!"
Political equality and equal rights with men
Take heart, for Lady Pankhurst has been clapped in irons again!

No more the meek and mild subservients, we
We're fighting for our rights, militantly
Never you fear!

Hildegard/Cleo/Lakshmi/Kari/Sofia/Amber: So, cast off the shackles of yesterday!
Shoulder to shoulder into the fray!

Zooey: Our daughters' daughters will adore us

Princesses: And they'll sing in grateful chorus:
"Well done! Well done! Well done, Princess Adventure Club!"
