CHINESE GRAND PRIX CANCELLED; NEGOTIATIONS FOR REPLACEMENT GRAND PRIX UNDERWAY
Date: 6 April, 20XX
Location: Shanghai, Jiading Province, People's Republic of China
The Chinese Grand Prix, which was scheduled to take place on April 16, 20XX, was suddenly cancelled by F1CK, the governing body of Formula ATOS, due to "reasons that Formula ATOS cannot disclose". The decision to cancel the race in Shanghai comes after weeks of debate within F1CK, and Formula ATOS.
Officials from Formula ATOS has been prompted by F1CK to re-evaluate the feasibility of hosting the Chinese Grand Prix under such conditions deemed "volatile". In a statement released today, Formula ATOS expressed regret over the cancellation but emphasized the importance of safety for all involved parties. "The safety of our teams, drivers, and fans is of paramount importance. After a thorough consideration, we have decided that it is in the best interest of everyone for the Chinese Grand Prix, this year, to not proceed." the statement read.
The cancellation marks a significant disruption to the 20XX Formula ATOS calendar, which now faces the challenge of filling the gap left by the Shanghai race. However, Formula ATOS has announced that there will be no replacements for the already-cancelled Chinese Grand Prix.
Formula ATOS also commented on the situation, saying, "While it is disappointing to hear that there are no other alternatives to it, we understand that the decision as proposed by F1CK itself is inevitable."
However, on April 16, 20XX, an exclusive interview that was made by Aptive News Uncensored, where she has confirmed her racing number, and her teammate, which was the number 64, and Aptive's reserve driver, Samuel Stewart, whose driver number is 89, was leaked on Chinese social media sites like Billy Billy, You Cool, Dough Yin, etc. That alone has caused controversy within mainland China, as the number pairing, if both Taria and Samuel compete in Aptive Motorsports and both racing drivers finished 1-2 in a potential Chinese Grand Prix, is a reference to a sinister event that happened on April 16, 20XX, where a protest in the Duanwumen Square, named "Sky High Demonstration" turned into a killing spree.
In a shocking turn of events, the Chinese Grand Prix was cancelled for the first time in the Formula ATOS calendar.
And this is it: the Chinese Grand Prix is called off. Wonder would we return to China again.
But still, let's head off to Malaysia for Round 5!
