Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of The Blessed Flowers. Enjoy the 6700-word chapter. I do not own Naruto, Masashi Kishimoto, and a few others do.
Konan hummed and slowly climbed to her feet. She grabbed her robe which hung from the chair in front of her. She dared not pull it over her arms as she knew she was still in trouble of being harmed and even a base ninja would know would not help.
She snorted but she sighed and knew that if anything else came to push? She would lose. She was not as strong as she had thought, she was not as powerful as she envisioned. She would not last long in combat nor would she win at all when it came down to it.
There was a LOT more to this, something that could not be dealt with easily and she knew it, she knew a LOT more than most of what it was like to wield power but be unable to use it properly.
Even at the height of her power? She knew she was just as mortal and weak as everyone else. She let the arms hang off her shoulders, tying them around her hips as she did so. She took a moment to ease herself into her sandals, grunting as a brief pain shot across her ribs.
"I am… Prepared for the journey outside if that is feasible to you." Konan stated before Aiko hummed, stretching in his chair.
She had been too interested, too disturbed for now, chaotic enough as is to have been willing to act with it. She looked at him as he climbed to his feet, looking at her before beckoning it to end.
She could not have allowed it to have happened either way as he pushed the door open.
Konan grunted and trudged to her feet before she looked over to him as he slowly turned to look over at her. He knew her well enough to have been dealing with it perfectly for now.
He was too interested in it; he had been willing to try and deal with it for now and he clicked his tongue as she slowly started to leave the room. She seemed ready to keep growing more for now and then looked to the ground for now.
She paused to think for the moment, thinking for now what might be too interesting for now. She had acted according to her station when it all happened for now.
It was too much to deal with for it to have been done with for now. There was too much on the line for her to have backed down when it came down to it, she would not relent, and there was nothing like it for now.
She would not be willing to let it all come to an end now, not when she could be allowed to let it all come to an end at the end of their loop.
He would fail just like everything to have been thrown away for now… And being thrown away was all he could have.
She slowly walked towards the next part of the room, knowing when it came down to it. She sighed and looked to the side before slowly pushing herself through the door. It made her want to have done for now as she looked to the side.
There was a lot more to try and deal with as she pushed herself to the door. She clicked her fingers for now as she thought to had to try and deal with it for now as she clicked her tongue.
Aiko followed like a dutiful pup, she knew him and knew him well enough for him to allow her to have been at her beck and call.
"You, ok?" Aiko asked to which Konan nodded.
"I will do what I can for now," Konan stated. "I feel wet… This town has not changed in the months since I have been gone." Konan stated.
Aiko wanted to say something but he could say something for now as Konan hummed, raising a hand to the sky. Wetness fell upon her pale palm and she looked to see a droplet of water.
"Rain," Konan said as something made to which Aiko hummed.
"Yes… It has been raining for now." Aiko sighed before she paused to try and deal with it for now as she thought of it for now.
The two continued their walk through the town before she paused to think of what was going on next. She did not wish to have done something for now as it came down to it, slowly walking through the village yet surely.
She paused to try and deal with it for now as she thought of what to do next. One footstep in front of another as the girl slowly yet surely started to walk forward on the path.
There was a lot more to try and deal with for now, this would have been dealt with for now as she thought of what would come next.
"You are entirely dealt with for now," Konan stated before she looked to the side. "I do not know you when it came down to try and deal with. This place is odder and odder when it comes down to it for now," Konan stated before she paused to think of what to do when she returned at the end of the day.
She could rule as a leader, she rested her hands on her side, knowing what was going on… She did not know what was going on, she did not want to know and she would know.
She clicked her tongue against the roof of her mouth, knowing what was going on, she knew to the end of the day what was going to happen, it was only a matter of time before it all came down the road.
It was too interesting in it all at the end of the day. He had been familiar with it once again before he could relax before he sighed to himself.
What else could he have done? That made him wish to smirk. He had been willing to try and deal with a much more honorable wish.
"You know? The more I must point out that next the issue of you improving your skill." Konan stated to which he had paused.
Aiko sighed to himself, rubbing at his temples before he sighed to himself. He had been unwilling to deal with it in his mind, there was more to it than this.
Konan had her robes worn around her hips. She did not care how much skin she had shown, it did not impede her ability to fight, it did not impede her ability to heal… All it impeded was making her exhausted.
"Aiko? Are you skilled at combat or are you simply a skilled medic?" Konan asked to which Aiko hummed.
"It depends on what you mean… I have been in combat before now, I have been a soldier quite a few times… But I have not fought at all in a bit… Not since the civil war this village has had." Konan stated.
"Ah, the civil war… Yes, I had forgotten that certain bit of history… Where we had been destroying the village in pointless bloodshed. I had forgotten that." Konan stated.
"There appears to be a lot you do not know when it comes to it. I do not mean that to be insulting." Aiko stated before he sighed. "We just do not know what is going on, that does not diminish what we can do," Konan stated to which there was a pause.
Aiko stayed silent before he relaxed, he had not been able to try and deal with it all for now… The next move made was to have to relax once again… He had not the nerve for now and he was bored at the end.
She had not been able to think, to relax at all when she had thought of it. She had not been able to relax once more… There was but a few seconds of silence.
She knew herself and she knew him… Whatever was going on was too much to have to figure out… Something that he could be dealing with once more…
Such a thing would be so hard to figure out, he paused to let it all figure out as he sighed to let it all come down.
He watched as Konan put a hand on her stomach, knowing what was to have to be done with each little moment.
He had been unfamiliar with such a thing as she sighed, wanting to let it all come crashing down.
Yep, life was to be better and that meant trying to find an upside to whatever was going on and what was at stake as it all was to come crashing down to the ground.
Yep, that would be fun but fun was the last thing on his mind before he clicked his fingers. He seemed to try and understand it. There was something there that needed to be dealt with post haste.
To be fair? He could not for the life of himself understand what was going on when push came to shove. All of it? All the chaos would be harder and harder to fixate upon…
There was something that needed to be dealt with as Konan planted her hands on her hips, she sighed, knowing exactly what was going on, there was chaos that needed to be dealt with.
"You tired?" Aiko asked.
"More like annoyed… This town was home at one point, now it is little more than it was then… And I dislike how that sort of things when it comes down to it." Konan stated before Aiko hummed.
"You are the one who used to be the leader of the town when it comes to it," Aiko stated.
"Yes, but there are times I do not feel anyone cares much, Aiko… It comes with being the former leader." Konan said, planting her hands on her hips.
Aiko hummed as they walked, Konan had a notable limp in her step which almost made him wish to sigh but he had a lot of ideas when it came to doing what needed to be done and dusted.
Konan did not know, did not wish to know what was going on at the end of the day… Such an idea was too hard for now to grow harder and harder for now.
The two walked like a couple through the city. He did not know how he felt about the woman, her strong sense of duty was a caring little part of her now, knowing what was happening was destring her before now… To be fair? She had been out for so long that it felt almost damning for her to do so.
On the other hand? That was a problem. They had been so trying for now, so vexing.
He said nothing for now, nothing knowing where it could be better. She was a very odd woman for someone who used to be on a world-wanted list but to be fair? Those sorts of people were something he was beginning to think that all of it became harder and harder to figure out for now.
There was a lot more to try and figure out as it came down to it for now.
She clicked her fingers and then looked downwards to the ground and sighed. She would not be able to figure as she sighed to try and deal with it.
She seemed to be ready for anything but at the same time exhausted with every little second of it cutting through her head as she fell downwards to the ground in a giant ball of fire.
All of it hurt. All of it hurt in some different sorts of ways for now. She had been hurt, dragged through the mud… And worst of all? She knew it, she knew something was going on before now.
She did not seem to be dealt with at all, she did not seem to grasp it at all… It was beyond chaos, beyond something that needed to be envisioned clearly… Even if she could stop it? He had no real desire to deal with it, nothing short of a miracle would make her able to deal with it for now… Nothing minor.
She hummed and looked to the side…. Not once did she wish to deal with something like this at all… She was tired and worn down… But part of her made herself sound more silent when it came down to it.
She leaned on a wall, her legs feeling like soggy pieces of paper now ironically. It made her tired. She looked over at her friend before finally standing.
"Tired?" Aiko asked in a tone that sounded more reserved than angry.
"Pained… But I can walk… Do you fancy this part of town often or is it just an escape?" Konan asked.
"An escape from what?" Aiko asked as they walked, her trying her best not to fall over.
She hummed for a few seconds, stripping it all away in seconds…. There was a second of hesitation… Of doubt and he knew that all of it would collapse, all of it was going to be for nothing was going to force him to end it now, not when it was all over now.
She had enough of it… Far more than she wished…. Ye, it seemed as if she could force it to end.
She held a finger up as she almost grunted, almost too distracted to be phased by it for now. She knew she was going to do this now either way.
He tried his best to drag about it either way. He held nothing about it now… Nothing he held to be too much.
To be fair? Konan leaned on a house, barely able to support herself… And finally, realizing what Aiko meant by the fact that even with all of it? This seemed to be something chaotic, something heartless for now.
She almost seemed to be dealt with for now, something which would become harder and harder to figure out.
"You are going to pass out if you spend more time here… This place is certainly beyond what we can fix now… At least for the moment." Aiko stated.
He was not that ruthless… He would dunk on the fact that she did not heed his advice… But he would not punish her by taking away her ability to move from what he had done… Even he, stripped of nothing but his dreams and desires, could not fault her as it was a very narrow fall down a tall tower.
None could be faulted for being uneasy, or prideful…. It was only when that crossed a certain line did, he command something beyond it.
There was a moment of silence as he paused and then looked at her, he knew damn well Konan was trying and she might even be willing to submit to it as best she could.
However? There was a lot more to this than how they felt, a lot more to it from the moment they were born until the moment they were thrown at the field.
He hummed at her.
"You are tired?" Aiko asked as Konan shook her head.
"I am only thrown off and worn down a bit… Not tired, I am not going to be able to relax or do." Konan stated.
She sighed, setting her arms under her hips as she looked over at Aiko. He looked at her with sympathy, a pity she felt she did not deserve.
"You are tired?" he asked in a voice that amused her for she knew he was not.
She shook her head even though there was no way he was not tired; no damn way he could pretend he was not. No, he damn well was and she knew it, she knew he was faking it as she sighed and rolled her eyes.
She would not pretend she was going to be ok. She knew damn well pretending it was not going to help, she knew damn well what was going on would not be enough now and she was fine with it at the end of the day.
She sighed and pushed herself from the wall, what little she did not know? It was not going to bother her. It would annoy her… But a great many things did that. This did not help at all.
"I tire… Of this annoyance." Konan stated before she brought her hands to her hips and let herself feel exhausted for the moment.
Aiko said nothing for he could say nothing, he had been through the wringer enough and what little he had been eager to do was… Bothering him. He had been through the thick of it and he was not stupid, not even a little.
Yes, it seemed even then these were too much for her as she sighed and cursed, feeling a pain in her stomach weighing her down. She winced as she realized she had her hands on her hips, almost collapsing into the ground.
There was something which needed to be done and she knew even she alone could not handle it.
There was a moment of silence, a moment of pain and suffering which needed to be done with. She had to rise above this for now.
Konan winced as she rested her hands on her sides, feeling pain dance up and down her stomach despite her best efforts to endure the pain.
'Damn it, I cannot even stand now. I feel stupid.' Konan thought as she thought of what needed to occur and it was not very pleasant for now at the time being, not in her condition and not without a massive amount of help.
There were gaps within her logic and she knew it… She knew damn well. It was clear such things were all too easily dealt with and she knew more and more with each passing second. More was happening that she did not know about at all.
If nothing else? She did not know what was going on now and this made her pity.
He hummed as she leaned on him a second later, wrapping her arm around him in a gesture. There were a lot of things that she did not know about him. what she did know was he was trying his best.
Whatever needed to be done would be done… And what little he could do was going to be done either damn way, he tried his best. He did try his best even if he did not want to do much now.
He paused and thought of it for a moment, thought of it in the best ways he could not let it be done now.
He sighed to himself and thought very hard. He had been willing to do something beyond chaotic for now and beyond his means as she leaned on him, feeling more like a fallen angel than before.
Though? Perhaps he could be allowed some forgiveness now, knowing that he could not have allowed it, not have let this end properly.
He was very tired, very exhausted, and worn down now before he felt bored. She looked at him with eyes as wide as windows and she knew that she was just like it needed to have been for now at the end of the day.
Whatever he held it to be done?
She sighed as he almost carried her and she realized she was far too weak to do much more and more with each passing second. What she did do next? It was annoying knowing she was in no damn condition to do much as it would become harder and harder to walk in this state.
"Can you take me home?" Konan asked to which he nodded and then looked to the side.
He sighed before he rolled his eyes and slowly began to walk backward toward their house. He knew damn well what would happen if he did not deal with it now and for a moment of peace.
Such was not going to stop them, not now at the very least when it had been something for him to break, and break it would break he could.
Whatever he had to deal with would be magnified at the time, thrown further and further into the sky. He held no such idea as to what it was to have been like.
No, not like anything he needed to be done in intervals that not even he could stand toe to toe with. No, something had to be decided lest he go mad with it.
And mad was the last thing he had wished to have been. Even he was not done now.
It was clear such a thing was easier said than done, the chaos that needed to be done with for now as she paused to let it all end.
She had been able to try and figure it all out when such was over. All of it was to end and all that would end was simple, it was growing on the mind.
Konan knew she was going to be hurt if she did not move quickly, there was something that bothered her about it when push came to shove.
Konan looked over at Aiko was too silent, too fascinated as of now. She did not know when it was to end and she did not wish it to end at all…. The pain did not fade and could not have faded. No. it was here they would stand and here they would stake their claim on the town.
She grunted as the pain began to fly across her face, knowing damn well that something would break.
She had been eager to figure it out when push had come to shove. She had been too complacent, Konan knew this and she had plans to push it aside, she had to be better.
Konan grunted as Aiko helped her back towards the hut, she knew damn well that by the time proper medicine was used? It might be too late and he might have been unable to save her.
Konan accepted this, she accepted that she had plenty of limits and those limits may or may not have compromised the mission. Konan would not let that comprise herself, not now and not ever.
The problem? Konan also knew in her diminished state that what little she could do? it was not enough and it would remain not enough until it had been corrected and she was finally healed.
Konan grunted, placing a hand on her hips, knowing that she could not be allowed to let it all spill in.
She and Aiko had a lot of progress to make on healing. She had to make sure the town had enough so they were able to survive.
Konan cursed her weak form for the moment, knowing damn well she had a lot more to see and do, a lot of it when it came to save this town.
'They need guidance more than I could provide. The town is going to need more than me, more than I can provide…' Konan thought as she paused to let it all sink in.
She was too fascinated by the world around her… Perhaps this was what Pain had thought the world should be like.
Konan was happy, too happy to let herself die to fight for a better world like the one she had lived in now.
'War is going to come, this town? This world? Pain would never have been happy with what would have become of it…. Not a preferable option.' Konan thought as she reflected as to what was coming but she would take what she could have gotten.
She would have wished it had never been gotten when it came down at the end of the day and all such days when it had been done and dusted… There were a lot of things that needed to be over… Needed to be over sooner or later… Whatever came next?
They had more and more little idea as of now. She looked over to her friend and then thought of it each little way.
Konan felt too tired, too exhausted for now as she paused to try and figure it out. Konan was eager to think, to relax… Konan had been capable of thinking of several dozen plans.
The girl was tired, she was beaten down now… Each moment, each second had been written in stone. Yet? She hit like a meteor and she had not once shown a single bit of fear.
Konan staggered inside, too interested in what needed to be done… Whatever was going on? She and he both thought of each other for now.
She and he both thought of what was growing on their mind… She had been it.
Konan was eager to grow more and more, something about it all was boring, it was polarizing now, and for good reason. She had been so eager to help that she was worn down once again.
"Are you ok?" Konan heard before Mareo hummed and then looked to the side. "I do not know what to do… I do not know as of now what to do." Konan stated.
She knew that Aiko of all things was tired, he was worn down by her antics… And still? He aided her as a friend would, he picked her up when there was nothing left and brought her to her feet… She knew that and she knew exactly how it felt for it to have happened.
Konan grunted as pain danced across her body. She winced in pain, brought low by suffering as she looked at her bruises which almost seemed to glow.
Aiko went to do something only for it to become harder and harder with such a thing to be done and dusted.
There was a lot more to deal with and she unwrapped her jacket from her stomach, letting her scars show to him as he sighed, realizing that he would have to fix them… And what it means if he could not… He had been willing to aid her but he looked at the nasty scars with a horrified face now and for a good reason.
She sighed as she winced, pain dancing up and down her sides as she thought of it to the end… She did not wish to think of it now and for good reason.
She paused, thinking he had been willing to forgive her was out of the question, only a fool might consider the idea worth its salt for now.
There was something else there, crawling in the wreckage. It was all a lot more than he had wished. Well, then he would have possibly wished it for now. All of it became harder and harder to think of now. Yet? he should not have done much in comparison.
She leaned on the wall, guessing even at the end of the day something would give… It always gave him no sooner lack of joy than now when it came crashing down.
He had been able to think, now and for good reason. She glared at him…. But not without a reason as she knew more and more with each little reason now.
"Aiko?" Konan asked as he paused while looking at her, surprised she remembered it.
"Yes?" Aiko asked as he raised an eyebrow, curious what she would do with such an idea.
"I want to point out directly how much this would have gone if I had not listened to you…. But? Since I wish to be nice? I do not know what to say." Konan stated before she sighed.
She knew damn well how it would end… should have ended now, all of it was hard enough to figure out.
Konan did not even know what had gone on now and for good reason. She of all people knew it would be impossible now and for good reason to fix it.
Good reasons led to problems, they always led to problems. Why? Because said ideas never died so easily.
Konan sat down, propping herself up against the wall as she realized how damaged her spine was. She was hurt but she would live, she would not die and she would not have done something now and now and now.
At the time being, too relaxed for now, and for good reason. She of all people was tired, too tired now to see it die but only once would she submit.
She finally collapsed for now when the pain caught up to her as she fell over… Now? Only now did she realize how it felt that way and for good reason… Such was hard to manage… And being hard to manage meant very little now… Very much was being deprived now and for good reason.
She of all people knew more and more with each passing second that if she did not handle something? They would need to get more done and far more off the ground for it to count…. But it was something to deal with now.
She and Aiko had a LOT more work to deal with…. Which meant a LOT more to see and do now when push had come to shove. All the work in the world might not prepare them for it, however… Another one would be hard to deal with for now at the time being.
She and he BOTH knew what was going to end now… A very big end when it came crashing to the ground now and for good reason now and for a very damn good reason now.
Hopefully? It ended sooner or later… Because she was not able to understand what was going on, now or later. She did not know what was growing on her mind, she did not wish to figure it out now.
Something about it all seemed to be making him want to scream. Konan finally fell back against the wall behind her as she thought of it, thought of how it would be done.
Aiko seemed to be tiring himself out as he looked at her, watching as the woman sighed and then spread herself across the sofa, too interested in what was going on now, and for good reason.
She was tired, her body felt like it had been broken in half now, and for good reason. She did not know what was going on with him before she looked to the side.
Konan seemed to be thinking of it when all of it was said and done before she looked to the side. She did not at all know what was going on now and for good reason.
Aiko returned to her side for a moment and then frowned, tired and unable to think. He watched as Konan tore her robes from her side, in pain and agony now and without the ability to think much less act.
Konan looked over at Aiko as he frowned and then started to think of what to do about this, pausing as he looked over at her, interested in helping.
"You should know by now we have a LOT of different things to cover… But the first one? Are you harmed? That much strain can kill someone if they are not careful. It can cause horrid damage to their body. You are VERY lucky none of that strain hurt too badly." Aiko stated before he sighed, frowning to himself.
He frowned, panicked for now as Konan noticed red scars across her body. it was a clear part of what happened had…. Harmed her body, she had been harmed to a degree she did not notice now… All of it would continue to be stressful.
Konan grunted and grasped her side, pained from it all, tired and unable to do more than relax, she leaned on the wall with an ache that had appeared to grip her like a savage demon.
Granted? She had been warned to avoid anything that might hurt her so badly but she did not even know if this was anything to scoff at. Konan was no doctor like Aiko was so it made things… Odd to deal with now and for good reason.
She was worn down, obviously beaten into the ground, but she was not dead now. Konan did not wish to think of it properly, she did not wish it to be anything different than before.
Konan was tired, she would remain tired, unable to act for now as she went skidding and flying down into the pit. She did not know it for now but she would soon enough. This sort of thing was going to break her into a thousand different pieces.
Konan was all too interested in it all, something that she had been too interested in it all before she looked downwards at the ground before now.
Konan hummed, tiresome at the end of it all before now, she and he were all too interested in everything that had to be done.
All she had been too thrown for a loop at the end of the day, all too tired, all too curious as to HOW it would go… Something about Aiko had surprised her but it was not like they had NOTHING to deal with now.
It was fun, it would remain fun now… Much more than normal… Something that could have been done was easier said than done. Still? She did not at all know what was going through her head now… Now? She had better things to do than judge the idea of something now than before.
She had zero clue as to it then but she would not at the end. Something which needed to be done was harder and harder, it was chaos within chaos.
Aiko moved her to the couch with little issue, her curse was tiresome now as Konan grunted. She had a LOT more to deal with for now at the time, exhaustion on her mind before she managed to relax for now.
Konan seemed to think of it all before she thought once more, something within it all was odder and odder and she of all people was all too thrown off at the time being… An idea which she had to deal with now and for good reason.
Something within it all was amusing.
Konan pulled her knees into her chest, slipping the robes onto the edge of her bedpost which was only amusing her now. She would curse if not for the fact that something was bothering her now at the end of the day, it was annoying to her that she had to suffer this.
Konan felt Aiko press a hand to her bare abdomen as she cursed, angry and annoyed at it all now as if something that they had to deal with for now.
She sighed and then thought of it as she looked to the end of it had been too interested now. She looked over at her before she sighed and then thought of it all as if she was beaten into the ground.
She had been eager to think, to react for now… Something that was harder said than done now.
Konan hummed to think of her now as she paused, letting herself think of it all too much at the time being… It was amusing to her.
She did not at all know what was growing for now on her mind when she had to think of it all now… Now? She had a lot more to try and think of it all now.
All of it had to end eventually now, all things eventually died out now. he still looked over at Konan tired at the time… Whatever he had left to deal with? He did not know.
He had to do better than this… Something about it had been easier said than done… Now? Now they had to relax… It would have been harder to fix.
He had to deal with it… And yet? Aiko was sure, he was confident he was better than this… An idea within them both had been more.
Something with them both had been tiresome now and it was something neither would need to manage… Both times? He had managed.
Both times? Both were relaxed, Konan yawned with her back crackling as if it had been snapped in pieces, her body ached and she felt as if she would scream.
Both times? Both times she would need to relax… Something within him told him that more had gone on again and again.
He and she both had different things in common… And Konan knew it. Konan pressed a hand to her wounded chest, feeling dried blood pooling around her fingers.
"Are you ok?" Aiko asked to which Konan nodded, flexing her legs as she peeled off her sandals, her skin blistering.
"I am wounded but I am ok… I know we have a lot more to deal with than that?" Konan asked towards the friend.
She had been too disturbed now… Something about it all has been too disturbed for now. Konan looked over at him, both times. She had been disturbed.
Konan peeled open her coat as she sighed and then? She looked over at him, watching as she sighed and then shook her head… Both times she could not have relaxed.
"Are you upset that I have been making things harder?" Konan asked to which Aiko shook his head.
"Not as much as I am trying to deal with." Konan heard from Aiko as she and he looked towards the sky.
Something about it all had been too disturbed. She looked as if she had had become deathly ill.
Konan hummed and then looked towards the time… She and Aiko were on different paths… Something within them.
She and he had been distracted… Both ideas she had on her mind? They led to being nightmarish.
They had to relax, she had to relax, something about it all had scared her, and they had to think differently, the ideas within her head… Both times they had done this? She had known it to be different, something she could and should have understood.
Instead? Now she saw it for what it was and it was clear both times. Both times they had tried something that would not work… Could not work like that… They had something beyond chaos to deal with for now.
To be fair? She had tried her best, she had given her all to this and it had not worked out the most. She had to hit harder and that meant something beyond her.
Something about it all had been harder and harder to deal with for now… It had been something for now… They had a lot more to try and figure it out.
Something about it all had been too interested in it all before it came down to it…. Something about it all had been too interesting as he relaxed.
Something about it all had been too interesting… They had been too interested in something beyond the pale… More times they have not been able to focus. They had broken apart entirely.
Konan seemed to be relaxed for now as he sighed, something about it all had been harder to deal with for now.
She would not be able to bear it… She would not dare bear it for now… The results were tiresome… And it would remain tiresome… They had to try and deal with it for now.
Something within it for now had bothered Konan for now, a lot more to try and figure out.
