Okay, this was just me being silly.
There was only a moment of silence as the Batmobile pulled away from the safe house. The Gotham vigilante glanced into the rear view mirror; the dimensionally-stranded teen's awestruck form slowly shrinking as the distance grew.
"Bruce." His eldest intoned, and he already knew where this conversation was heading.
"No."
"Aw, C'mon B-"
"No."
"He totally fits the Bat profile! Black hair, blue eyes, a hero complex, and his theme goes perfectly with ours. He even comes with his own little gadgets!"
"Danny is pretty cool. And his power set is perfect for stealth."
"See? Tim's on board too!"
"*sigh* Why do you all think I'm going to adopt every child I come across?"
He could feel the pointed look shot at him from his younger ward from the back seat. "Are you really asking that?"
"And you didn't help your case with the offer of a room. First it's the room, then you'll need to equip him with 'proper equipment'. Before you know it, he's been Bat-dopted!"
…~~~oOo~~~…
Danny was in space geek haven. The ship before him a sleek, stupendous, and joyful sight.
The Javelin.
It could have made a perfect skipping stone, but more pointed. Another way to describe it would be a silver arrowhead with twin dorsal fins at the back. The silver chrome and the tinted windows only added to its allure. Danny wanted to fly this thing soooooooo badly, it hurts.
"This pleases me."
…~~~oOo~~~…
As soon as he entered the room, Danny knew that he was in some sort of trouble if Batman's look had to say anything about it. The problem was, he didn't know for what exactly he was in trouble.
"Phantom."
"I had nothing to do with GA's arrows!"
"…That was not what I was going to talk about, but thank you for the admittance." Danny mentally facepalmed, adding 'learn to not open his big mouth' to thing he needs to learn. "I wanted to talk to you about your ability to switch forms."
"What about?"
"There is the concern that you are not discreet when doing so."
"What do you mean? I make sure to hide and everything!"
Batman sighed, noting the half-ghost's cluelessness for later. "Standing behind a tree and shouting out 'Going Ghost' is not discreet."
