The lounge and kitchen area of Mount Justice was abuzz with the preparations of the upcoming movie marathon of the Star Wars saga. The plan was to see what differences there was compared to the saga in Danny's dimension, at it was called Space Wars.

In the kitchen, M'gann, Garfield and Kara were in the kitchen prepping the snacks and drinks. The smells and sounds of the mixer blending the cookie dough and the microwave popping the popcorn floated in the background. Tim was setting the first movie up. Danny had joined with Cassie and Bart to grab pillows and blankets. Conner sat reclined on the green sectional, petting the hulking albino wolf.

"We got the goods!" Bart called out as he, Cassie and Danny came in, each with overladen arms of comforters and pillows.

"I don't think we need so much," Conner said as Wolf padded over to the trio, sniffing in interest.

Cassie chucked her load onto the seat before plopping on the spot next to the pile. "Oh they are totally needed. This wouldn't be a proper movie night if we skimped on the cushy stuff."

Danny chuckled, trying to maneuver around the couch and Wolf. "That sounds somethi-YAAH!" Danny yelped as his foot caught the corner of the couch, causing the half-ghost to tip forward. Fortunately the mass of blankets and pillows that he was carrying cushioned his fall.

"You okay?" Conner asked, brows furrowing. Danny's answer was muffled, but he then gave a thumbs up.

"See? Totally necessary!" Cassie laughed as Danny wiggled out of his plushy confines.

Nightwing entered the lounge, the smells of food and sci-fi sounds from the movie greeted him. In the darkened room, he could spot several heads of the movie watchers on the green couch.

M'gann was perched on the end closest to him, with Garfield comfortably situated right by her. Next to the shapeshifter was Cassie and Tim, Cassie leaning against the current protΓ©gΓ© of Batman, who was noticeably flustered to the older Gothamite vigilante.

Danny sat between Tim and Kara, sharing the bowl of popcorn with his neighbors and occasionally commented on the film. Kara was curled into Conner's side. Conner didn't seem too invested in the movie though, as he was more focused on giving Wolf pats as the mutant lupine sat by the Supers. In the corner of the sectional under a small mountain of snacks, Bart munched contentedly as he lightly chatted with Jaime.

Vlad Business

You wanted my attention Darcy?" Vlad asked when entering his secretary's office.

"My apologies Mr Masters, but a Miss Beatriz Sirtis requested to see you," the portly woman said, shuffling some papers. "She said it was important."

"Yes, that is quite fine Darcy, thank you," Vlad dismissed the woman as he spotted Queen Bee in the waiting room. He entered the room, greeting the royal. "I did not expect to see you here today."

"Is that a bad thing?" The woman asked, a light tease in her tone.

"Not at all," he said politely, leading his companion into his office. "Darcy, please have refreshments sent in to my office," he said to his assistant before shutting the door and taking the seat behind the desk. "So what do I owe the pleasure of this visit?"

"I actually came concerning your 'business proposal'."

Vlad gave the woman an inquisitive, yet expectant look. "If I am right, I assume that their little scheme failed to capture Phantom."

Queen Bee nodded, shifting in her seat, "you weren't exaggerating when you stated that the youth was difficult."

Vlad nodded, internally smirking. Some of the members of the Light had dismissed the notion of allowing Vlad into their group, underestimating Daniel and his abilities. "And what of the opinions of those that were hesitant on accepting my services?"

"They're more open to the idea," Queen bee responded. A knock on the door put the conversation on pause as a staff member came in with the requested refreshments, then resuming once the employee left. "Speaking of last night, I have something that you may be interested in." She pulled out a small vial, the opaque container with a label that bore writing in pen.

Vlad raised an eyebrow when she handed a vial to the half-ghost, but gave a smirk when he read the label. "My, my. Now this is a pleasant gift indeed."

"May I inquire what purpose this would be for?"

"Oh, mostly just for some interests of mine; but if I get the desired results, then this will yield a very useful tool."

"Now that that's settled, I've also came to invite you to what you might call a gathering of sorts…"

Danny's Worries

Cassie hadn't known Danny for very long; but from what she could tell, he was a pretty chill and laid-back teen. And seeing how irritated and antsy he was since Egypt was somewhat unexpected to say the least.

She watched him pace about, grumbling under his breath. A normal action made odd by the fact that, unnoticed by him, he ended up on the ceiling.

"Hey Cassie," Robin greeted as he entered the room, a pair of earphones in hand. "I think I figured out how to get the comms to work around… what are you looking- oh," he trailed off. "How long has he been up there?"

"Dunno, probably half an hour," she said.
