But my life suddenly started to take a turn for the worse. When I hit puberty, my hormones started raging like a hurricane. For some reason, I also imagined a guy dressed like a businessperson suddenly starting to come in and make my life a living hell. The best way I can describe him is that he looked like Agent Gibbs from NCIS, and he was basically a cartoon, because he looked like a character from "Regular Show."

Did I mention that I started getting anxious in school whenever I got homework? Well, it got worse when I entered middle school. I would have full-on outbursts. It got so bad, that one day my mom told me in a very stern voice: "That is NOT how middle-schoolers act!" To this day, I have mixed feelings about when she told me that. It did scare me, but then again, I needed to hear it. But my outbursts in school got worse. Whenever I had one, I'd then imagine beating myself in my head, to punish myself for not acting my age. I would do horrible things to myself. Cutting my limbs off with a chainsaw, beating myself with a sledgehammer, just horrible, terrible moments of self-torture.

That didn't actually happen, though. That was all in my head. I just used my active imagination to mentally torture myself. I had my own personal mental torture crew. And for the head of the crew, I would have Robert De Niro or Joe Pesci from "Casino." I also used Warden Norton from "The Shawshank Redemption." The worst part is that I even imagined using members of the Paw Patrol to torture myself. Yep, sometimes Warden Norton, Sam Rothstein, or Nicky Santoro would have them killed, or they would hold one member of the Paw Patrol at gunpoint to get me to do something, and then once I did it, they would shoot or kill them anyway. But I "respawned" them of course. No character that my mental torture crew killed stayed dead. But the character would still have that trauma of being killed hanging over their heads.

I'm sorry to get so dark like that. I'm just too honest like that. I'm basically just venting right now. But I promise you, if you keep reading this story no matter how dark it gets, you're in for one hell of an emotional journey. So, I implore you to keep reading, because this is something I've been working on for almost a decade. It's gone through many changes, but this is the version of this story that I have decided will be the final draft.

I was dreaming my usual dreams, where everything that happened made sense while I was in the dream but was complete nonsense when I woke up. But suddenly, everything around me started to fade, and I found myself in a dark room with stars all around me. I was approached by an old woman, who looked like she was in her fifties. It took me a little time, but I eventually recognized her as Rey from the Star Wars sequel trilogy. "Oh hello," she said, "who are you?"

"I'm Eddy." I said.

"What are you doing here?"

"I don't know. To be honest I'm not sure how I got here, nor do I know where I am."

"This where Jedi go when they meditate, which is what I'm doing now."

"Wait, you're a Jedi?" I said.

"Yes, I was trained by Master Luke Skywalker."

"You knew Luke Skywalker?"

"Yes."

"I've heard about him. Wasn't his father Darth Vader?"

"Yes, but before that, Anakin Skywalker was a Jedi. But he was seduced by the dark side, and- "

"Yeah, yeah, I know that, but how did you become a Jedi? Also, what is a Jedi?" And so, Rey told me all that stuff about the Force, the Jedi, your basic Star Wars information. "You mean 'Star Wars' is real? All that stuff with the Empire actually happened?" I said.

"What are you talking about? Of course it's real. It's as real as the Force itself."

"Okay, but I thought that was just a movie. Anyway, what are you doing here?"

"I don't know either. Wait, maybe the Force brought us together!" she said.

"Why would the Force want us together?"

She paused for a moment. "I don't know, but I'm going to find out. What planet do you live on?"

"Earth."

"Earth? I've never heard of a planet called Earth."

I was surprised. A character from Star Wars saying they had never heard of Earth? "What do you mean you've never heard of Earth?"

"I mean that there are thousands of planets in our galaxy, but no one has ever heard of a planet called Earth."

I thought for a moment, and then I said, "Maybe that's why no one's ever seen a real spaceship before!"

"What do you mean?"

"Well, on Earth, everyone thinks that aliens are a myth. We've built rockets that go into outer space, but it takes a long time to get to certain planets in our solar system."

Rey then shook her head and chuckled. "I don't know what kind of planet you live on, but if we're meeting like this, it's obvious that the Force wants us together. Wait there, and I'll find you."

And with that, she walked away. Then the alarm on my phone went off, and I woke up. And as I got up and started getting ready for school, I was still trying to wrap my head around what had happened. Why did I see that? Why did it all feel so real? And why did Rey look so old? I had so many questions, but I just shook it off and went on with my day.
