For all of you who are reading this message now, this text has been written after a decision I made to overhaul a majority of this book.

At the time I'm writing this, I find it lacking to my standards, and now I am currently writing it anew.

I hope yall will like this newer version.

Get ready to cry in this chapter...

The sound of the bullheads engine filled the air above the freezing cold ocean surrounding the continent of Solitas. Every once in a while, a slight groan came from the engine due to Ruby's new human body's two ton weight that made it work harder to fly.

Ruby soaked in the pleasant feeling of the chilly wind whipping against her face while her jaw was clenching the teeth lining it to not scream from the sensations that still rocked her new body.

Flashes and pulses of white hot torment raced through her body, each bit of agony tearing away at her remaining sanity, dulling her senses, and making even breathing a harder thing to do subconsciously when she was constantly assaulted by the debilitating pangs.

It was like trying to hold back a tidal wave with your bare hands after a long drought, and it took every single last drop of Ruby's willpower to stop her from going mad from the suffering she endured.

There were moments where her sense of time seemed dilated and everything in the world seemed to move at a snail's pace. She could hear the combustion chambers of the Bullheads engine fire one by one, see the slight snowfall outside the bullhead and make out the individual snowflakes falling from the heavens.

It was maddening to see the world move at a near standstill, then those moments passed and everything went back to normal, at least as normal as her life could be now.

The best that Ruby could guess about what caused it, was that her evolutions speed up immensely in those moments, leading her senses to become haywire from the sheer amount of stimuli they received.

Purple light flickered off of her dorsal plates and exposed red flesh, filling the bullhead interior with shadows that seemed to dance in tandem with the flashes. Ruby felt like a monster, one who was so much more dangerous to everything than the Grimm could ever hope to be.

Just being near her was dangerous with the radiation she put off even when she limited it. She made a conscious effort to control just how much energy leaked from her body, but it was impossible for her to completely stop any radiation from leaking out.

To not leak any of it out made her excess pool of energy to grow much faster and might cause her to have a meltdown...something that would be bad for her and anyone around for many miles.

'I hate Atlas did this to me...to be cloaked in the flesh of a godless monster...' Ruby bitterly whispered in her mind while watching the flare of color from her dorsal plates flicker across the bullhead again.

Another spasm of sensations rocked her body, her breath lurching as she struggled to not let any noise pass through her lipless mouth. Her cells were mutating endlessly even now, seeking to evolve her body even further through rampant cellular division.

Now she felt every time her cell mutated or spilt at a nigh infinite rate. All of it felt like her body was splitting and ripping itself apart down to the last atom of her existence. Her mere existence should have been impossible, yet here she was suffering more than any other living being had ever before.

Clenching her fingers...no they were claws now, into her palm, Ruby breathed out slowly to try and calm herself before she lost it.

'In and out, just like Mom and Dad taught me.' Ruby closed her eyes and focused on her breathing to try to blot out everything around her.

It turned out to be impossible when another bolt of torture burned through her body, mind, and soul. Pained whimpers built in her throat and threatened to pour out, Ruby didn't let that happen though.

Opening her eyes as her jaw clenched tighter to endure the torment, Ruby stared down at her left arm and hand. The skin on her entire arm was jet black, bumpy, and looked like they had been burnt with an intense heat, which they had been during the blast.

Claws replaced where her fingers used to be, the tips of her claws glinting harshly in the light of the shattered moon hanging far above in the heavens. Leading up from her arms was her shoulders, they had the complexion of a decaying corpse with unnaturally white skin.

Covering her chest was more blackened and burnt looking skin, except the skin on her chest looked more armored than that on her arms. The armored skin curved to a large jagged point where her collar bone used to be.

Long greyish red hair flowed from her skull while curling to her side to avoid the dorsal plates that jutted from her spinal column. Coming out of where her tailbone is, was a large and quite heavy tail that seemed to move on its own.

Her thighs had tripled in mass to accommodate her extremely heavy body, her feet ended in sharp claws much like her hands did. Using her Radar/Sonar organ she had gained, Ruby used it to get a 3d image of what her entire face looked like.

Horror filled her mind from what she saw. She already knew her mouth had no lips, but actually seeing it made her feel sick. The tissue where her upper lips had been was mostly scarred flesh, while her bottom jaw had the armored skin covering it while there was a very noticeable gap in the middle.

Flexing her lower jaw, Ruby saw how both sides could move almost independently, and it could unfold like a snakes. Her lower jaw seemed to be the exact same from her other form with the same jagged teeth on both her top and bottom jaws.

She looked more terrifying than any Grimm she had ever heard of before. Her body was unnatural, her internal energy was unnatural, her entire current existence was unnatural!

Children would cry from just seeing a glimpse of her lipless mouth and many jagged teeth... she could hear their screams already as they ran away from her, calling her a monster as she wept from being all alone...

'A monster...That's what I am now, a monster who has no right to exist. A monster who will mutate until the universe collapses in upon itself, a monster who can accidently kill people without even noticing.' Ruby's lipless mouth twisted into a sad smile as she felt every bit of the negative emotions flowing inside of her breast.

What would her mother think of her looking like this? Would she still love Ruby or call her the new name she had forcefully given by fate itself? It was a trivial thought as the dead can speak no tales, and even if they could it would be a language of damnation to those living that heard it.

'How am I even this calm? I should be freaking out on what I have become. Did the mutation alter my mind as well?' Ruby contemplated such a dread filled thought in her mind, if her very mind had been altered by her mutation...was she still even Ruby Rose?

It was a question no one should ever have to ask, the mind was the most scared place and the last bastion of identity. To have your mind altered was to be a entirely new being, one who merely looked the same and had the same memories, but still a different person altogether.

'ENOUGH! I will go mad thinking these thoughts! It would be Armageddon if I went mad and attacked anything!' Ruby ripped her thoughts away from such dark prospects, lest they take what was left of her rational mind.

With the power she had now burning and building within her body, none save another being able to match her in power could stop her. Though no such being exists to her knowledge, magic and heroes with the power to match her were myths after all, as much as she hated the fact.

She used to admire Heroes from stories and comics as a young child...how ironic that fate would deem her to be humanity's first created monster. Her sanity was slowly being whittled away by the knife named fate and the cleaver named agony.

Information shot and registered through Ruby's enhanced brain as her biological Radar/Sonar picked up large objects approaching the bullhead from the southeast. A flock of five elder class Nevermore's were flying at about one hundred miles per hour to them.

Ruby growled softly as she turned her head to look at the threat coming at them, though a flicker of movement on the ground below her caught her eye. The large tail that extended from her body slowly lifted itself off the ground while scrapping loudly against the floor, it positioned itself to where the flock of Grimm were closing in.

Winter raised her head sharply in the seat across Ruby on the bullhead after the loud scrapping metal sound woke her up. It a few seconds for the older woman's eyes to focus after the forceful wakeup call, and she grew fearful when she saw tip the Ruby's tail unfold with a hiss of steam and bright purple glow.

That same light flashed rapidly off of Ruby's dorsal plates like a dying star blinking in the night sky. The deadly beauty of the light enraptured Winter who only understood the barest minimum of Ruby's ever increasing power.

The bright pulses of neon light grew stronger as the threat approached, it reminded Winter all too well of a bomb timer steadily ticking away before detonation. Pushing her back against the wall, Winter felt intense fear shoot through her, as she knew exactly what was about to occur.

That neon purple light usually signified Ruby was about to attack with those beams of undefiable death.

Soon, the light built to a crescendo and with a concussive shockwave, Ruby's tail shot out a beam of neon purple that bathed the land in its devastating glow of infernal energy. The air shrieked with a high pitched scream from the beam's several hundred thousand degree heat.

When the beam touched the first Nevermore, it vanished without a trace like its kin had before it at the beach Ruby glassed just hours before. Those near that first victim burst into flames from the heat surrounding the beam, their charred remains falling and crashing into the tundra forest below them.

In what seemed less than a few seconds, the land was aflame after the remains of the Nevermore's ignited the trees and plants uncovered by the snow. The forest had become a sea of vivid hellfire, the trunks and sap of tree's creating a ghastly bonfire that lit the sky orange in color and choked the air with ash.

The bullhead lurched violently from the shockwave Ruby's beam had emitted, the bay's interior heating up rapidly with the metal around her starting to glow. Warning bells went off in the cockpit as Ironwood tried to right the ship again, his normal arm straining to right the ship with the help of his prosthetic arm.

Ruby whimpered when she felt her insides burning with the fury of the sun. It seemed her atomic beams overheated her human form much quicker than her other form. Steam hissed off of her skin while filling the bullhead, the air smelled bitter and of iron.

The floor of the bullhead groaned under her feet while the metal glowed cherry red in color. Within her body, Ruby's internal temperature skyrocketed to far beyond what any living being had ever endured before. Ruby dug her claws into her palm, the sharpness of the black digits slicing through her palm and let her black blood dribble onto the floor.

"THE HELL IS GOING ON BACK THERE?!" Ironwood screamed as he finally was able to right the airship from Ruby's shockwave.

A cloud of intense steam and heat washed into the cockpit, with his remaining flesh body sweating rivers under his uniform and his aura flashed to protect him. There was only reason what was happening, and that was the mutated Ruby Rose.

If he were being totally honest with himself, he was extremely terrified of the girl and what she could do now. He tried to look into the bay behind him, but the steam blanketing the doorway made it impossible to see anything besides the outline of the girl and Winter.

Ironwood looked back out the cockpit after his failure of trying to see what was going on behind him in the bay, only for his eyes to widen upon seeing the forest below them had turned in a veritable picture of hell.

Everything was aflame with harsh orange light and nothing was being spared from the inferno's blazing fury. Guessing that Ruby caused what happened to the forest behind, Ironwood put the bullhead controls on auto pilot, and rushed into the open bay of the bullhead.

Once he crossed the threshold of the cockpit, he was hit with a intense heatwave that made him sweat bullets more than he had been before. The metal of the bay was gradually heating up and glowing a soft red in some places, while others were a hot pink color.

Ruby was the very center of the heatwave while Winter was lying against the bullhead wall trying to cool off and failing. The monsterous girl looked straight at Ironwood, her face was grimaced in pain as she looked at him with eyes full of many emotions he could not identify.

"Do you see what you have done in the pursuit of your goals? Do you see what you have created in me? Do you know the full scale of your actions? How at this very moment, how much I'm suffering? You don't, do you? Only I know the full scope of it all..." Ruby whispered softly, her voice and silver eyes accusing him of so, so many things.

The coat covering her body incinerated from the warmth of her body, the smoldering ashes flying off on the wind that swept into the Bullhead's bay, rising into the sky amidst the snow and smoke that swam through the air.

A single grey tear fell from Ruby's left eye before the mental and physical fatigue of the last day had finally taken its toll on the young girl. She closed her eyes as her heavy body fell onto the shimmering floor with a loud |Clang!| sound echoing into the air.

Slipping silently into the blissful depths of the domain of dreams and visions, Ruby let out one last faint whine before becoming still. Winter looked at the enormous younger girl with pity and sadness, imagining her own younger siblings in the same position as this poor child.

A thought that terrified her after having seen much of what Ruby has gone through. Thinking back to when her mother had sang lullaby's to her when she felt afraid or worried, Winter took a deep breath that tasted of ash before her voice carried out in a soothing tone of a old lullaby.

Sing a beautiful dirge into the comforting dark

Sail on a raft beneath a sea of glimmering star's

Watch the light's twinkle in the sky one by one

Know that soon your journey may be done

Hush now my child and look to the sky

Soar on those beautiful wing's while you can still fly

And Know that hope will never abandon you

A tender smile grew upon Ruby's lipless face, as it seemed Winter's song had graced her within her dreams. Feeling his heart wrench painfully at the sight, Ironwood wiped the sweat off his brow and gave a painful sigh.

All of this was because he wanted children like Ruby to live free of the Grimm. Fate was cruel to twist his intentions like this...

That had been his one wish ever since that day so many years ago...

Ozpin would need to know what had happened in the past day, to know of his actions and the heavy consequences he could of never foreseen. Ironwood opened his scroll and stared at his old friends contact, hesitation was evident on his face looking at the scroll while he bit his lip.

'What would I even say? Oh sorry I doomed one of your dead closest aid's daughter to being a monster?' Ironwood struggled to think of what he should say, but he knew the conversation needed to be done, if only so the girl had a chance in not being ordered for execution by any of Remnant's governments as a threat.

Ironwood dialed Ozpin's contact while more sweat ran off his brow, the dial tone seemed to be similar to a walk to the gallows where he may hang.

"Ironwood...I am guessing you are going to tell me the full story now?" Ozpin's deep voice asked in barely a whisper over the scroll, a commanding whisper that held authority the likes of which few could match.

"Yes, and it's not a good story...first let me show you something." Ironwood explained while flickering the camera on his scroll to the inferno raging below the bullhead.

Trees were ablaze with the sap bubbling on the trees, animals cried out in fear as they raced away from the dancing flames, smoke filled the sky as the snow had started turning to rain. Terrestrial Grimm ran fast away from the wave of fiery death.

Ozpins sucked in breath echoed out over the scroll as he beheld the raging inferno, the likes of which he had not seen in a long time...

"That fire is made by the selfsame person I told you had been caught in the blast, and it took them less than a few minutes to cause this much destruction. That person is last of the silver eyed warriors and...Summer's daughter." The silence coming from the scroll was deafening, even more than the noises of the landscape before.

"She claims to have been training on the island when we dropped the bomb. She's been...mutated from the blast and has even more power than what she used to make that fire below me." Ironwood explained while waiting for any kind of noise to come from the scroll, to show any signs of what Ozpin thought of his actions.

The silence persisted for a few more seconds before a barely audible exhale crossed over the scroll, that exhale alone sounded more furious than Ironwood had ever seen Ozpin get.

"Show me what she looks like and tell me what kind of bomb did this!" Ozpin ordered with barely contained fury while Ironwood moved the camera from the fire to where Ruby slept in the middle of the Bullhead bay.

Ruby was curled up in the middle of the bullhead bay with her large tail curled around to just under her chin. Her lipless mouth was set in that smile from earlier, and her jagged teeth curled over what should have been her lips.

Purple light flickered off of her giant dorsal plates in infrequent interval's, giving the bullhead a soft light compared to the forest fire below when it happened.

Ozpin's gasp of shock when he saw Ruby was terrifying with how Ironwood knew what Ozpin had seen with hos secret. That brought the idea that he had never seen anything like Ruby...

Quickly unlocking the multiple failsafe's around the files contained within his scroll, Ironwood sent Ozpin the files of the project codenamed Atom Bravo.

"Oum, Ironwood! You fucked with one of the building blocks of reality?!" Ozpin shouted loudly as he looked over the files he had been sent once he got them, he was beyond horrified that they had thought to make a bomb with such a important thing.

It was like they had tried to step into the realm of the Gods...

"We did, now that girl has payed the price for my eagerness...and I fear the council will make more bombs to wage war with, too." Ironwood stated with a somber and guilty expression, he knew that his decision could lead to a war between kingdoms, with the Grimm claiming all of humanities leftover Remnants.

"You will do your upmost to make sure they do not turn those damnable weapons on the other kingdom's, otherwise I will use my magic to make you suffer Ironwood." Ozpin sharply hissed in fury before shutting off the connection.

Ironwood was left alone with the loud rumble of the bullhead's engine, Ruby's deep bellowing breathing, Winter's judgmental silence, and the crackling of the forest fire below as his only companions.

Ruby, meanwhile, had been drifting through an inky black void, until she felt her clawed feet touch soft grass and a blinding light enveloped her vision.

Shielding her eyes with her hands as they rapidly adjusted to the light, she raised her hands away to see a very familiar sight before her.

She stood in the forest just before the cliff where her family had made the grave for her departed mother. The sun was setting just above the west horizon making the sky bleed a bloody orange color.

Looking forward, Ruby saw a trail of white colored rose petals flying through the wind, she followed them while her heart panged at the sight as blooming white rose had been her mothers symbol.

Ruby walked from the forest and across the cliff. Vivid memories she had made on the cliff crashed to the forefront in her mind, each loud step on the soft earth shook with the weight of an earthquake in her mindscape.

The day of her mothers funeral with the loud gunshots and smoke filling the air, the weeks she spent beside the grave afterwards talking to the grave to ease the burden upon her soul she felt. Trying to regain a small semblance of the warmth her mother had always gave her, only to feel the bitter cold of sorrow and sadness.

When the grave finally came into view for Ruby, a storm of those white rose petals flew in front of her face and revealed the form of her mother sitting on the cliffs edge. Ruby fell to her knees as she beheld her mother for the first time since she was only a small child, her breath catching in her chest as she tried to get out the words she always wanted to say to her again, out.

"Mom? Mom! is it really you?!" Ruby asked in a barely audible whisper, her disbelief and grief running through her like a storm.

Summer Rose turned around at hearing a voice she thought she would never hear again, one that sounded older and more mature than she remembered hearing. Slowly turning her head to look at the voice behind her, her eyes widened upon seeing her beloved baby girl looking at her.

Ruby looked vastly different than the last time Summer had seen her, but a mother could never mistake their own flesh and blood for someone else

Summer reached out a trembling hand as got up from the cliff ledge slowly, she then bursted into a run to hug her daughter. The two collided together in a heap as Ruby finally broke down in her mothers arms like she used to so long ago.

The warmth of her mothers body, the smell of baked cookies and roses surrounded her, as all she had went through in such a short time made her mental dam she had built up, finally shatter and the flood of emotions burst through with an overwhelming crash.

Tears leaked from her eyes as she wailed into her mothers chest, her loud screams and sobs echoing over the cliff. Her clawed hands gently gripped her mothers clothes, latching on like she had when she was a child...

"There, there Ruby. Let it all out and tell mom what happened." Summer whispered while stroking Ruby's long greyish red hair, the soft motion slowly calming her down as her sobs and screams turned to sniffles.

She gave great shuddering gasps as she tried to calm herself enough to talk, to tell her mother about what had happened to her.

"I was training to be a Huntress on the island north of Patch yesterday. I unknowingly went there when Atlas was testing a new bomb!" Ruby began while she started sobbing uncontrollably into her mother's soft shoulder, while Summer tightened her hug around Ruby with one arm and stroking her hair with the other.

"The bomb hit the island to my south. The explosion was so big it dwarfed anything I had ever seen! The flash of light that came after let me see my inside my arms before my eyes were damaged to the point of blindness, then came the wave of sound that hit me and ruptured my hearing!" Summer griped her daughter tighter while Ruby was breaking down completely, the pain and helplessness of that moment still very fresh in her mind.

Seeing nothing and hearing nothing was worse than anything she had ever experienced. That empty void where nothing seemed to exist felt like a prison, or a description of Limbo or Purgatory.

"After that the real shockwave hit me and made me skip across the ground, I landed against a tree and broke my back to where I was paralyzed completely." Ruby cried harder as she could still feel the terror of that moment, where she able to do nothing to protect herself from the continuous assault of the blast.

Summer's heart broke as she heard more and more of what had happened to her beloved Gemstone, her little Petal, tears leaked from her own eyes as she leaned her head on top of Ruby's bigger one.

"I'm so, so, sorry! My little flower!" Summer whispered in grief as she wept into her daughter's head, the both them cried together while Ruby tried to finish up her story.

The heat from the bomb burned away most of the flesh on my chest until my heart was exposed. Energy from the bomb flooded my body as my body adapted to the energy, producing it." Ruby wailed loudly as she could still feel the energy and heat her heart produces burning inside of her veins.

"I prayed! Prayed, prayed, and prayed that something would save me, to release me from that torture! Nothing answered them, I had to suffer through all of it, and I still do!" Summer wept even harder as she felt guilty for not being there to save Ruby, to save her daughter from such a horrible experienced.

"Then that energy mutated my entire body to the point I grew to be bigger than any building in Vale! I only got this semi-human form back after I spoke with a Atlas specialist and momentarily controlled my evolutionary abilities to make one! EVEN THEN I STILL LOOK LIKE A MONSTER!" Ruby shrieked as she felt her body explode in heat again as her excess energy burst past its cap, purple light flickered into life from her dorsal plates and exposed red flesh.

Ruby shoved her mother away from her quickly when her dorsal plates burned from the energy. That energy exploded as the beams from her back shot into the dreamscapes setting sky while she stumbled backwards.

One of the beams clipped a nearby hill and the hill exploded with rubble and dirt flying through the air as large shrapnel. Soon the beams died out, as steam emitted off of Ruby in scalding waves of superheated air.

This is what she was would suffer every time her excess energy pool overflowed, and she would continue to suffer from it for a long time.

"Do you see now mom? I am a monster that is dangerous to even get near! I could kill so many people with a single accidental discharge!" Ruby howled in misery while sinking to her knees in the steam cloud.

Summer pushed through the steam cloud to comfort her little flower, braving the burns that she got to show Ruby how much she loves her.

"I feel like my body is splitting apart every second! The agony is so overwhelming that its all I can do to not break down and scream my lung's out!" Ruby startled as felt her mother's arms wrap around her back in a hug, even while her temperature was hotter than a blacksmithing forge.

"I am sorry my little flower, but you have been given more power than anyone who has lived before you! You must learn how to wield it, and if you find people you love and cherish, use that power to defend them tooth and claw!" Summer whispered while hugging Ruby as tightly as she could, though her skin was being burned greatly from Ruby's immense heat.

Sniffling loudly as she grasped her mothers smaller hands in her own, Ruby noticed that the sun had set and the sky was beginning to fade. It seemed the dream was ending, she was waking up.

Ruby could see everything fading around her, so she turned to look at her mother as she shimmered like a mirage, that loving smile and kind silver eyes she remembered from her childhood looking at her with infinite amounts of love.

"Ruby. Yang and you were the greatest gifts I could ever ask for in mu life. My little Petal and my little Sun Dragon daughters. Just know that even if you should never die from your power, that I will always be with you in the end, no matter what." Summer whispered while kissing Ruby on the forehead.

Soon everything faded to black for Ruby, the dream dissolving as Ruby shot awake in the bullhead.

Tears covered her eyes as she lifted her arm to feel where her mother had kissed her on the forehead, the comforting warmth of her mothers body still gracing her skin. Giving a final loud sob, Ruby buried her head into her chest as she likely just saw her mother for what may have been a unexpected final time.

Minutes passed as Ruby sniffled softly while thinking on her mothers words. She had such incredible power, power that hurt her every second she lived, but power was nothing without sacrifice to get it.

'Power to protect those I hold dear? I...I'll try Mom." Ruby lifted her head from her knees to look out of the Bullhead to where the sun was sun was setting to the west, then she saw the familiar sight of her home island of Patch crest over the horizon to the southwest.

Her evolved eyes could see most of the island even as far away as they were from it. The dense pine forest that surrounded most of the north was comforting to see, the small lakes that dotted the more lowland areas to the south, the hills that grew in the east, all of it felt soothing to see after what she had endured for almost a full day.

Yang and her father must be freaking out because of her being missing, no doubt searching for her or resting to search more in the morning light. They should've been able to see the bomb's detonation from the house, felt the shockwave buffer the house slightly, heard the echoing boom it had produced.

Though Ruby felt her energy spike like it did in her dream moments before, the harsh neon glow that had become the symbol of her endless torment erupting from her back.

The heat around her built up to a burning heatwave yet again, Winter woke up from her slumber she had taken when she felt the heat hit her face. Fear flooded the older woman's face while she ran to the cockpit to avoid making the mistake she did earlier.

Ruby's lower jaw split into two with the purple light shimmering inside her throat, a single breath escaped her mouth before she sent her strongest beam yet out of her mouth.

The shockwave nearly took the bullhead out of the sky, the beam tore across the sky until it hit the ocean on the other side of the island about twenty miles away. An explosion of steam miles high shot into the sky, the sky started to rain from the water that entered the air from the detonation.

Everyone on the island felt the seismic waves shake the ground from the explosion. Yang and Ruby's father, Tai, looked outside of their home when they felt the vibrations in the air and ground as he tried to rest to look for Ruby again in the morning.

Yang ran downstairs with a scared look on her face, her eyes still shedding tears from how both of them had been worried sick when Ruby had not shown up since this morning.

"THE HELL IS GOING ON DAD?! FIRST RUBY GOES MISSING, NOW THERE ARE EXPLOSIONS GOING ON NEARBY!" Yang yelled while panicking and crying as she ran and grabbed her gauntlet weapons Ember Cecilia.

Tai ran out of the house to see a blinding purple light fading in the sky and feel the hot raining falling down onto the island.

"Holy shit!" Tai screamed while seeing the intense afterimage the beam had burned into his eyes. It had been as bright as the sun that had just set!

Ruby fell to her knees in the Bullhead after she had exhausted her excess atomic energy in that beam. Ironwood rushed out of the bullhead cockpit to see Ruby weakly point a claw to a log cabin off to the left about four miles away from the island's beach.

"Home." Ruby whispered feebly while she tried to contain the agony lacing her body, Ironwood nodded his head while quickly getting into the pilot seat.

Ruby felt the bullhead bank to the left as Ironwood flew towards the house in the distance, Ruby tried to stand so she could she her family since her rebirth, but struggled to stay upright. Tai also saw the bullhead coming in for a landing beside his house, his wariness coming in full force as he prepared himself for a possible fight.

He tried to make out who was onboard the vessel, he could see the one in the bay, they looked massive in size, he guessed they were around eight foot tall.

Ruby made eye contact with her father, who saw her silver eyes and became stunned while the bullhead set down in the field. Ruby jumped off the airship with an almighty crash, before breaking into a run and shouting a single word.

"DAD!" Ruby screamed as she slammed into her father like a freight train, sending them both tumbling from her new weight. Tai knew it was Ruby the minute their eyes had met, for he knew nobody else still left alive with Silver eyes besides his daughter. Though he could not fathom why she looked like this, she honestly looked terrifying to him.

"Ruby?" Ruby heard her father say her name for the first time after the start of her own hell in life. She started sobbing onto his chest as he slowly wrapped his arms around her.

Yang came running outside as she saw her father hugging a sobbing giant of a girl, the confusion on her face was immense and she slowly approached them.

"Yes dad! It's me, Ruby! I was on that island that explosion had hit, now I mutate and evolve every second I'm alive! I doubt I can even die anymore!" Tai was shell shocked at his daughters words and couldn't even speak let alone move, he just sat there hugging his apparent little Rosebud who said she can't even die anymore.

"Wait? RUBY?!" Yang charged at Ruby as she then held her in a embrace that nearly choked Ruby, Ruby cried into her father and sister's arm's as her dorsal plates on her back and tail began to slightly glow purple.

"I am stuck like this! I have to suffer as my body continues to evolve every single second that passes" Ruby's wailed as her seemingly sentient tail moved and wrapped around Tai and Yang, the flower like end end steamed with a giant hiss of escaping air after it unfolded slightly.

"I have a tail with a actual mind of it's own, I can shoot beams of DEADLY energy that burn my insides if I use it without cooling off...I CAN'T TAKE ALL OF THIS ANYMORE! WHY WON'T IT END?! IT HURT'S SO FUCKING MUCH!" Ruby broke down in her family's arms like she had in her mothers arms within that dream.

Her eyes shed grey colored tears from her silver eyes, Tai and Yang were speechless as they held Ruby, for Ruby had never broken down like this since Summer's funeral.

Ruby wanted relief from her suffering, but was unable to. She claimed she couldn't even die to rid herself of her suffering, meaning she had likely tried to kill herself.

A great burning built in her chest, as Ruby felt her body heat up again with her back and tail glowing neon purple. Ruby pushed her family off of and far away from her in fear, while she staggered towards the fields center. In a show of unfathomable power, her back/tail exploded with screaming neon purple beams of her energy.

She pointed her back and tail at the sky, the beams punched through the rain clouds above and extended far above into the stratosphere.

Ruby screamed in pain as steam came off her body in clouds of hot vapor once again. Tai and Yang watched in sheer horror while Ruby's body emitted clouds of superheated steam, they felt how hot the air had become around Ruby.

Her mind slowly fell into unconsciousness as her body used more of her atomic energy and her mind became overloaded from everything. Ruby fell forward as Yang rushed to catch her younger sister, struggling to hold Ruby up even with her aura.

"It's okay Ruby, I am here for you baby sister!" Yang whispered while pulling Ruby close to her chest, she leaned her forehead against Ruby's as the younger girl slept fitfully.

Ruby felt and heard nothing as she slept in a black abyss.

Only time would tell if she stayed sane from her new body and hell she was forcibly given.

Annnnnd that's it!
