Rather speaking, all Total Drama characters, and all representing characters involved in this series, are not owned by me whatsoever. Otherwise, Total Drama is owned by Fresh TV and Cake Entertainment so do no re-enact anything you see in the show. Seriously. You can get really messed up. Also, all of the representing characters are not owned by me in case if you guys were wondering about who belonged what and so-forth.
Starting Note: If you happen to see a horizontal line, that means it's the confessional.
Ok, before I start off with episode 1, I would like to answer a few reviews just to get it out of the way.
DisneyFan: I understand you were not happy over me not picking your characters, but I DID say that the characters had to be picked depending on my knowledge on the franchises. While I have watched a lot of Disney shows, almost all the characters that you suggested? I didn't even know what the shows you mentioned are until AFTER I picked the 20 characters. The only character I recognized was Ted Lutz, but even so, it's been a while since I've played Subway Surfers so I ultimately decided not to include him. Since this is my first TD season, I'll let it slide. Just don't bother me with your choices constantly the next time I make a TD season. I will consider them if I've watched them or have read their wiki pages.
thenewsubwayguy: After looking at the picked characters, you're right. Hilariously, aside from Rukia Kuchiki, Sakaki and Bender Rodriguez, none of the characters have been used before in a Total Drama crossover fanfic. Seriously, you have freaking Goro, Karl Heisenberg, Big Smoke and even Kuroto Dan as part of the cast in this one. So yeah. It really was a unique set of characters hehe.
The Camera reveals an unknown race-track, filled with many race cars driving around through each lap. A man with black hair, black eyes, and is wearing a red and black racing jumpsuit, appears. He has a slight grin on his face.
"Welcome, everybody, no matter the age nor gender, to Total Drama Full Throttle!" the man in red said, "We've been to Camp Wawanakwa not once, not twice, not three times, but FOUR times, we went to an movie set, we travelled around the world, we went to a different island, and we also had a race around the world. We've done it all."
"But this year, we are doing something completely different as in today's season, 20 players from all forms of life, across the multiverse, will take part in this contest to determine who is deserving to win the 1 million dollar prize. Not only that, but they will also partake in grueling challenges that will test their physical and mental fortitude, all for one prize: 1 million dollars in cold, hard cash!"
On cue, the 1 million dollars fall down, covering the host with all the bills. The host stands up from the pile, not looking too pleased with the money being dropped.
"Chef? Be careful with the 1 million dollars." Jack called out, "This money doesn't grow on trees, you know."
All the host can hear was a slight growl from Chef, who makes his appearance by walking right beside him. This time, he's wearing a lavender and black jumpsuit, adorned with various badges that displayed the sponsors the season truly had.
"I don't understand why these twenty unfortunate souls are willing to take part in this first place. I mean, we even have a couple of children taking part, for goodness sake." Chef said to Jack, who pats him on the shoulder.
"It's alright, Chef. Besides. I'm not Chris McLean." Jack assured, "I won't resort to murder for the ratings."
"I hope so. Don't want to get sued again like last time."
"I know. Courtney just got lucky, but anyway. I'm your host. Jack Houston!" The man, now named Jack Houston, introduced himself
"And I'm your other co-Host: Chef Hatchet." Chef introduced himself
"And this year, prepare yourselves for a wild ride!" Jack declared, "Because THIS...is Total! Drama! Full...THROTTLE!"
Opening: I Wanna be Famous
The opening starts off with the usual TD fare, as the cameras pop up from around the mysterious pit-stop, as Jack opens the door, revealing the entire virtual highway.
Dear Mom and Dad I'm doing fine,
You guys are on my mind.
Jack's big time truck was driving through the virtual highway until the camera went through one of the portals.
You asked me what I wanted to be and now I think the answer is plain to see
Rocko and Crash are swimming in the water as the camera goes up to a dock. Kuki Sanban, Luna Loud, Juru Atsuta and Bender Rodriguez were trying to fix one of the cars, but Bender accidentally knocked Kuki into the water, forcing Juru to dive in and save her.
I wanna be famous.
Just as Bender was about to drink his beer, he suddenly gets knocked into the water by Luna's electric guitar. Seeing his robotic body in the water, Luna laughs nervously as Juru sternly glares at her, having saved Kuki from drowning.
I wanna live close to the sun
The camera now shows Lucas Lee and Rukia Kuchiki, who are relaxing on the beach.
Go pack your bags, 'cause I've already won
At the same time, Ty Lee and Sakaki are busy stretching their limbs as Karl Heisenberg is busy relaxing as well, with his Soldat Eins creation running around doing his business.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way
Their relaxing session gets interrupted by Prince Goro and Kuroto Dan, who decide to have a big fight that almost destroys the entire beach, forcing Heisenberg to use Soldat Eins to protect Ty and Sakaki from the two's attacks.
I'll get there one day
While the chaos was happening outside, Miku Nakano and Yukiko Amagi were a little unnerved by Zhang Chunhua's smile, as Nora Valkyrie attempts to tell Chef Hatchet about her concerns regarding her bandages, with the latter instead using noise-canceling headphones to block out her concerns.
Cause, I wanna be famous!
Krohnen McDougall, Lois Griffin and Big Smoke were arguing until the latter pulled out his handgun, with Krohnen reacting back with his robotic arm. Lois sighed in irritation as she covered her ears.
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na!
The camera now reveals a montage of the previous winners (Ranging from Owen to Wayne) before it now shows 20 cars driving through the virtual highway.
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
Suddenly, the path gets blocked off by a mysterious virus, revealing himself as Kuroto Dan, who's laughing evilly. Annoyed over Kuroto's attempts, Jack creates a path that covers up the blocked path, with the 20 cars now using that path to drive through one of the portals.
Na na na na na na na na na na na na na na na! (as can be heard in the background)
I wanna be, I wanna be, I wanna be famous
With all 20 cars now coming to the finish line, having come out from one of the portals, Jack and Chef are eagerly waiting for the cars to arrive. However, with the 20 cars coming through, both immediately panic as the cars drove through the two hosts. Fortunately, the duo are well-protected since they're holograms, as the 20 cars stop all at once.
(Whistling in tune)
With all 20 contestants safe and sound, Jack and Chef both whistle the ending tune as they shrug in unison. The logo re-uses the Total Drama original logo, but now, the Full Throttle portion is simply race-car themed with a hint of technology.
Episode 1: Full Speed Ahead Part 1
The camera now shifts to the race-track again. Now that the cars have stopped, the host: Jack Houston, steps out of one of the cars, having driven the race-track during the break.
"And we're back!" Jack continued, "Total Drama Full Throttle comprises of 20 contestants from all forms of life battling it out for the prize of 1 million dollars. We have your usual humans, but in addition, we also have a wallaby, a Shokan AND a robot joining the competition! I know, that may sound crazy, but it's Total Drama so anything can happen as long as it's 1 million dollars."
He takes off his entire jumpsuit. Now wearing dark red cargo shirt, black hoodie jacket, black pants, black sneaker and black gloves, shaded glasses that mainly cover his eyes, likely because of his hazel eyes as he didn't want to distract people with his eye color (Since his eye color is hazel), and black gloves, Jack continues walking, the camera now focusing on him, Chef and the entire race track.
"How did you manage to put on your jumpsuit after your actual clothes?" Chef asks
"I don't know. It just happened." Jack replied. He looks at the camera.
"Anyway. I've sent 20 cars to various dimensions to pick up the 20 players that will be taking part in this show." Jack continued yet again, "Once they arrive, then the show will begin."
"Oh! Here they come now!" Jack called out
"Woah really?" Chef asked
"Duh. Look."
On cue, a random car shows up from out of nowhere. As the door opens, out comes a strange wallaby wears a blue polo shirt with purple triangles and orange shoes. His eyes are white with black pupils and he has a black nose. He also has beige skin and fur. Judging by his facial expression, apparently, he didn't like the joyride.
"Rocko Rama, ladies and gentleman." Jack greeted, "Um...are you ok?"
"No, Mr. Houston...dang car went...too fast..." Rocko groaned, trying not to vomit. All Jack can do is by patting him on the back. It was not much, but it was the least he can do.
"There there." Jack assured, "Just lie down over there, ok? The ride is now over."
Rocko can only nod as he sits down from the whole experience with the car. While Rocko's busy trying to relax from the stressful ride, another car appears. This time, the door opens, revealing a young man with short dark brown hair, black-brown eyes, and a childlike complexion. He appears to be wearing a red and black dress shirt with yellow lines, white pants and black boots. On his wrist, it appears to be a puck-shaped device.
"Juru, my man." Jack greeted, "Good to see you." The man, named Juru, was surprised by the host knowing his name.
"I'm a bit surprised you know my name." Juru said
"Well, you are the leader of the Kiramagers, aren't you?"
"Yeah, but, normally, I don't really show my identity to anyone else except my teammates."
"Like how your girlfriend Mizuki ended up figuring out your identity before-hand?"
Juru says nothing, realizing he made a good point
"Hmm. Good point."
"See? Nothing to worry about. Juru? Go stand over there, ok?"
"Sure."
As soon as Juru starts walking to the side, next to Rocko, another car appears. When the door opened, the figure revealed herself to be an emotionless looking girl with medium-length red hair that has strands of hair hanging over the right side of her face. Her notable accessory is a set of wireless headphones that have a triangle-shaped logo on the ear cups. She has dark blue eyes, an average height, a well-endowed figure. She is wearing a long-sleeved sweater that covers her uniform, black tights and her headphones around her neck. Most of the time, she has part of her bangs cover her right eye. Lastly, she wears a ranzel
"Miku Nakano." Jack introduced, "one of the five Nakano Quintuplets. How have you been?"
"I'm good." Miku said, "Wait, how did you know me, Jack-kun?"
"Well...you are not only one of the five Nakano Quintuplets, but also, you are the most popular one of the five." Jack replied, "Hell, you even managed to outrank Nino and Yotsuba as the most requested sister to even join this competition."
"Wait...many people love me?"
"Well duh. That's the reason why you are in this competition, is it not?"
Left stunned over what Jack said regarding why she was picked to take part in the competition, Miku walks up to the other two contestants. Juru decides to ask her one question.
"You're a quintuplet?" Juru asks
Miku nods. "Yeah. You?"
"A leader of a team, hence why the device on my wrist."
"Ooh. What does it do, Juru-san?"
"That...I'll have to tell you later. Besides. I'm the leader of a team for a reason."
"Ngh...I need...a break..." Rocko groaned, still woozy from the joyride. Miku and Juru decide to fully pick him up from the ground.
As soon as the duo help Rocko up, another car appears. This time, the door opens, revealing a short and petite woman with light skin and purple eyes. Her hair is black, her hair cropped into a bob which hangs about her face. As for her outfit, she appears to have been wearing a standard shihakushÅ, all while wearing a fingerless white tekkÅ, which extend above her elbows. She also wears a familiar Division Badge around her uniform's left sleeve, which has been shortened to just reach her upper arm. And lastly, her outfit is mainly covered up with a white cloak, and white headband (Note: Think of her appearance from The Thousand Year Blood War).
"Rukia Kuchiki. The iconic Soul Reaper." Jack greeted, "Nice to meet you."
"Likewise." Rukia nodded, "So..this is the show, right?"
"Of course. Just don't get carried away with your crappy drawings. Ok?"
Rukia's face flared up in embarassment as Jack has a cheshire grin on his face.
"Wha-they're not crappy!" Rukia exclaimed, "I-it's Chappy the Rabbit!"
"I understand it's Chappy the Rabbit, but you're not making this easier with your justification on why your drawings are good. Ok? Now go stand over there."
With a sigh, Rukia proceeds to stand right beside Miku, who sheepishly looks away. At the same time, another set of cars appear, revealing four unlikely individuals. One is a girl of Japanese descent. Her usual outfit is an over-sized green shirt, black leggings, green socks, and black and white converse shoes. She has long straight black hair with bangs. One had brown hair, brown-gray eyes, and light skin, while wearing a pink acrobatic suit. One had short black hair and black eyes, and is wearing a black t-shirt with faded blue jean pants and black boots. He is carrying a skateboard on his back. And the last is an unusual robot, who is holding a beer bottle in his hands.
"Kuki. Ty Lee. Lucas and Bender." Jack introduced again, "Not expecting two little girls, a stuntman and a robot to appear at the same time. Speaking of which..."
He looks at one of the interns, who immediately cower over his gaze. "Why did the four cars appear at the same time?"
"W-w-we had some troubles, sir!" An intern nervously replied, "N-Numbuh 3 was really hesitant to get in the car!"
"Is that so...?"
"Y-Y-yes!"
"I see."
He looks at Kuki, who instinctively puts her plush toy, that being Rainbow Monkey, to fully protect herself from the host. Jack's reaction? Nothing more but a comforting smile.
"Ok...Numbuh 3? I've received orders from Numbuh 362 that you are allowed to take part in this competition. I know it's your obligation to protect children's rights, but because this is a competition, I want you to try your best to win the 1 million dollar prize." Jack ordered, "You got that, operative?"
Kuki can only smile as she nods, now realizing that her superior has allowed her to take part in the competition.
"Ok!" Kuki happily replies, much to Jack's relief
"Good."
He looks at the other three.
"We have the Acrobat with an effective fighting style, a stuntman, and a robot." Jack continued, "If I were to guess...you three also came at the same time as Kuki, right?"
Lucas only nods in response while Bender can only shrug, not caring in the slightest. Ty Lee? She's a bit happy that she finally manages to take part in a different competition. Other than that, she also nods in response to his question.
"I'll take your reactions as a yes. Ty Lee?"
"Yes?"
He leans over to whisper something in her ear.
"Word of advice." Jack whispered, "Make sure you don't go overboard in your chi-blocking. Ok? Don't want to make enemies in such a short span of time, right?"
Once he leans back, Ty thought for a moment before she nods, understanding what he meant by chi-blocking.
"Ok."
"Good." He looks at Bender and Lucas, "You three? Make your way to the side there and join up with the others."
"Yeah, whatever, meatbag." Bender sarcastically said as he followed Jack's orders, walking to the side
"Sure." Lucas replied, "I can do that."
While Ty Lee was busy stretching her limbs, and Bender being busy trying to open his beer bottle, another car appears. This time, out comes a man with wavy blue hair. He appears to be wearing a black and yellow jacket, black cargo jeans, and black boots. On top of his jacket is a dark red small cloak. And on his eyes, it appears to be dark red goggles, covering his entire vision. He also has a mysterious blue right hand.
"Krohnen McDougall." Jack introduced again, "Hey. Nice goggles."
Krohnen looks surprised over his compliment
"Uh...thanks?"
"Besides. The goggles fit well for you to hide your original appearance. Isn't that right..."
He leans over to whisper something in his ear.
"The original K9999." Jack whispered, much to Krohnen's frustration
"Don't call me that!" Krohnen shouted, "You know, I don't want to fully expose myself, ok!"
"Hey, I'm only joking." Jack said in defense, "Besides. your former contractors should be the least of your worries. Got that, Krohnen?"
Krohnen groaned as he makes his way to the side, now standing besides Lucas Lee, who smiles in response. At the same time, another car shows up. Out comes an orange anthropomorphic bandicoot with a black nose, thick eyebrows, green eyes and reddish-brown hair on his head, styled into a typical Mohawk. He has a yellow-orange colored stomach and a peach muzzle. His main attire consists of a pair of blue board shorts that have strings, and lack any definite denim textures. He also wears pink boxers with red hearts on them (Or white boxers with red hearts depending on the game), and a pair of high-top shoes with white soles and laces. Judging by the grin on his face, Jack can't help but feel a bit annoyed over his expression and demeanour.
"Everyone's favorite marsupial: Crash Bandicoot." Jack introduced again, "Crash, how was the ride?"
Crash says nothing, but the only response he can do was two thumbs up. Jack was a little less than impressed.
"I'll take that as a yes." Jack sighed, "Go stand beside the others."
As Crash makes his way to the other contestants, another set of cars pop up. This time, five figures came out of the set of doors. One was a young girl. She has short brown hair styled into a near pixie cut length, freckles on her cheeks, and wears light purple eyeshadow. She wears a purple sleeveless shirt with a white skull, torn crew neck, and triangular sleeves, a lavender plaid skirt, a white belt, purple-tipped socks, and high purple boots. A distinguishing feature of hers is her paperclip earrings. She also wears three black bracelets on each of her wrists and a choker around her neck. On her back is her electric guitar. One is a strange dragon-like muscular human with dragon-esque eyes, forked lizard-like tongue, reptilian scales (mostly located on the back), four arms whose hands have only three digits each, with black fingernails, and only two digits (big toes) on each foot, also with black toenails. He is also wearing a champion belt around his waist, to fully cover up his shorts (Note: Sorry if I'm not good at explaining on who Goro looks like). One is middle-aged yet youthful looking woman with medium length brown hair. She is wearing a sleeveless light-blue shirt with purple highlights, black stockings with light blue highlights, a light-blue pareo skirt with purple highlights, and a white and black set of gloves and arm sleeves. One is a rugged man with short wavy hair and a full beard. He is wearing a faded green coat, a grey-black shirt, grey-black pants, black boots, and faded green gloves. Not only was he holding a cigar on his left hand, but also, he appears to be holding a large hammer. and the last person is a fair-skinned young woman with orange hair and aqua eyes. She wears a long, pink and white sleeveless coat with light blue lapels and white-collar belted closed by a black belt with a pouch on the left side, over a black short dress. The front of the coat has two heart shape cutouts near to the bottom. On the upper back of her coat is a small pair of decorative metal wings with a magnet in the middle that she can attach Magnhild to. She also has long detached white sleeves with black fingerless gloves, white stockings light blue socks and black boots with silver heels, sole and toe plates. In addition, she wears matching metal bands on her upper arms with her emblem on them alongside silver metal bands around her thighs. Lastly, her arms have been covered in bandages. Jack wondered why her arms are covered up, but he chose to ignore those thoughts.
"Luna Loud, the Shokan Goro, Zhang Chunhua, Karl Heisenberg and Nora Valkyrie, ladies and gentleman!" Jack introduced again, "We have a Rockstar, a Prince, an Almighty Woman, a Lord, and the Queen of the Castle!"
"Hmm...how do you know my name, fool?" Goro asked
"Well, Goro." Jack added, "You are the former Mortal Kombat champion before Liu Kang beat you for that title, did he?"
Goro can only growl upon hearing Liu Kang's name. Jack smiled, seemingly ignoring his obvious discomfort.
"You don't have to worry, Goro." Jack continued, "Liu Kang is not in this contest so you can focus on the competition while you're at it. Ok? Maybe you may become the one that will win the 1 million dollars, but it all depends on you."
Goro can only scoff as he makes his way to the others, only standing beside Rocko, who looks nervous over his tall stature. Meanwhile, Luna was a bit confused on her surroundings.
"Dude, is this Total Drama?" Luna asked
"Sure it is, Luna." Jack replied, "You were the other popular pick for this competition besides Lucy since, well, you two are the most popular Sisters. In the end, you were the only one that was accepted."
"Wait, I'm really that popular?"
"Of course you are! You are Luna Loud. The rockstar sister that would occassionally try to have a good time with her loved ones through the power of music, along with having a sweet girlfriend. Besides, we've got a lot of requests that want you to be in this competition so yeah. You really made some impact, alright."
Luna can't help but smile over what he had to say. Once he sees her smile, Jack smiled back.
"By the way, welcome to Total Drama, Luna." Jack continued, "Go stand over there and join up with the rest of the contestants."
"Absolutely, my dude." Luna extends her hand for a fist-bump
"Sure. Why not?"
Luna and Jack both bump knuckles, much to the latter's joy. With a fist-bump, Luna casually walks up to the others. Meanwhile, Heisenberg and Nora are looking around at the entire race-track in awe, impressed by the the beautiful scenery.
"So..this is the fabled Total Drama show." Heisenberg said to himself, "How interesting."
"I'm just hoping I can use this chance to fully find myself." Nora said to herself, "I just have to. I didn't leave Ren behind for nothing."
"Heisenberg? Nora?" Jack added, "Go and stand next to the contestants, please. As much as I would love to introduce you both, this is a half-hour show so wrap up whatever you're talking about and join up with the others."
Once the sight-seeing was over, Heisenberg and Nora, realizing his words, both walked to the side, joining the other players. Chunhua? Her gentle smile is what got the host's attention.
"Well well well..." Chunhua muttered, "This competition is truly mine for the taking."
Jack tried to say something, but all he felt was fear over seeing her smile. Almost as if that smile is hiding some sinister intentions.
"Ok...Chunhua, as long as you don't use that Whip Sword, you're alright. Ok?" Jack nervously adds, feeling uncomfortable seeing her smile, "Just walk to the side."
Chunhua doesn't respond though she follows his orders by walking to the side, standing beside Luna, who sheepishly looks away. At the same time, however, another car arrives. The door opens, revealing a woman that has has dark brown eyes and has long straight black hair that is kept neat with her red hairband. She wears glasses, which in her case are red-framed glasses. Her main outfit is her slightly modified school uniform along with a red cardigan sweater with black leggings. Jack immediately snapped out of his fearful expression, and went back to his smile.
"Yukiko Amagi. One of the members of the Investigation Team." Jack introduced
"Greetings, Jack-san." Yukiko bowed, "I'm a bit surprised you know about who I am."
"Of course I do." Jack emphasised, "You're the Ojou that is best friends with Chie. Not only that, but you also can be hopeless with alcohol, am I right?"
At this, Yukiko blushed in embarassment.
"H-h-how did you k-know that, Jack-san?" Yukiko stammered, "It-it was only that one time!"
"A host doesn't share his secrets." Jack smiled, "Besides...it's fortunate that you are here and not that implied manwhore that is your leader. No offense to Yu Narukami or anything, but there's a reason why you were picked over him. Either that or I'd rather deal with your drunken stupor than having my brain try to comprehend how much luck your leader has towards the ladies. I don't want to state the obvious, but it IS the obvious, if you know what I mean."
"Y-y-you don't have to tease me about it."
"I know, but it's not my fault I get drunk so easily, Yukiko-san, so..." Jack teased, "Why don't you go join up with the others. Ok?"
All Yukiko can do is to cover her face with her hands, blushing in embarassment over Jack's snarky words. Meanwhile, another car arrives. The door opens up, revealing a middle-aged woman with orange middle-length hair, black eyes, and has blue earrings on her ears. She is wearing a turquise dress shirt, beige cargo pants, and maroon slacks.
"Lois Griffin." Jack introduced, "How are you?"
"I'm doing good. In fact, the joy-ride was really relaxing, you know."
"Are you sure?" Jack teased, "Because if I recall, you rarely get happy over anything nowadays. Besides. What happens when you attempt to ruin things because you are unhappy with everything? Including your children?"
At his words, Lois' smile fades, and was immediately replaced with a look of irritation and anger though Jack is smiling over seeing her feelings hurt.
"Oh. How cute." Jack teased again, smiling at her facial expression, "The self-proclaimed "Mother of the Year" has a different reaction other than being bossy and naggy. I'm sure you wouldn't like the fact I'm talking down to you like you're trash. Because you are. You are the scum of the earth with the way you treat your kids. Peter's not safe from my criticisms, but at least, he had a crappy childhood compared to you, miss privileged."
While everyone was outright snickering (Except Yukiko and Rocko, who were genuinely shocked by his insulting words, Nora, who feels a little scared after hearing the venom in his voice, and Luna, who was surprised over his tone), Lois was outright seething over what he said in front of her face. Almost as if he's insulting her for her behavior and poor parenting. Then again, Jack was still smiling so the four (Yukiko, Rocko, Nora and Luna) can't really figure out if Jack was angry or was just joking around at her expense.
"Wha...What the hell is wrong with you? Do you have a problem with me?! Why would you say-" Lois tried to say before Jack cuts her off with a hush.
"Not important. Why? Because...I don't care." Jack snapped back, "Go stand over there before I get mad at you. Ok?"
All Lois can do is glare at him before she proceeds to walk to the side, joining the other contestants. While Lois walks her way to the side, annoyed over the host's comments, another car shows up. This time, with the door opened, the next arrival is a portly man of black skin, wearing a green t-shirt, blue jeans, black shoes, and a black hat on his head. He also appears to be wearing an armor vest in addition to black rimmed glasses.
"Ah yes, the big shot that got himself paranoid so much he actually betrayed everything he claimed to follow for an opportunity to get money." Jack mockingly introduced, "Or should I say...Big Smoke?"
"Woah...how the hell do you know all that?" Big Smoke asks, surprised and annoyed, "I didn't even get to explain who I am, ya fool."
"Well, you are Big Smoke, the guy that wanted more in his life yet forgot about everything else, such as moral standards, in his own paranoia due to Officer Tenpenny. I'm sure, at that point, everyone knows you for who nor what you are." Jack sarcastically replied, though his tone changed into that of sympathy, "However, compared to you, Sweet was not a good option for me to pick because he was nothing more but an entitled brat that just couldn't admit that the Grove Street gang fell apart because he didn't bother to try to solve the issues head-on, all while blaming CJ for having a different life compared to him. You? You had a good reason why you had to do what you did, which I don't blame you, of course."
Big Smoke is at a loss for words. He never expected the host to fully express his sympathy despite his earlier criticism.
"Wow...you actually feel bad for me." Big Smoke said, "I..I don't know what to say."
"Well duh. You had to do what you had to do. I don't blame you for that so...hopefully, this second chance may work, but it all depends on you. Big Smoke." Jack finished, "Now then, go stand over there, next to Luna."
With a pointed gesture, Big Smoke calmly walks to the side, joining the other contestants. At the same time, another car appears in front of the host. However, when the door openend, there was nobody in that car.
"Wha-where is he?" Jack asked Chef, who is also confused. Suddenly, a purple virtual pipe shows up from out of nowhere. Out comes a mysterious figure, who has short black tidy hair. He also has a deranged grin on his face.
"Behold, you pesants!" The figure exclaimed, "I am...NEW KUROTO DAN!"
With a maniacal laugh, he grins over seeing the rest of the cast after popping out from the virtual pipe. Based on who he looks like, Kuroto looks like a normal man of asian ethnicity, with him wearing a black and purple formal jacket, black jeans, black sneakers, and a navy dress shirt. However, Jack looks completely annoyed by his unexpected entrance, notably due to Kuroto not even coming out of the car.
"Oh yeah...the self-proclaimed God in the flesh: Kuroto Dan." Jack groaned, "Kuroto, how come you didn't go on one of the cars?"
"How can a God such a myself handle something trivial?!" Kuroto complained, "Is it really necessary for a God like myself to be picked up like this? No! I don't think so!"
Despite Kuroto's reasons, Jack instead rubs his head in irritation, expecting him to react in his usual deluded god-complex self.
"Of course you would say that...Kuroto, just go to the side. Thank you." Jack sighed, urging him to join up with the others.
Kuroto can only smile in utter satisfaction as he walks to the side, joining the other 18 players.
"Is that all of the new players?" Chef asks
"Hmm...let me count." Jack said, as he had a look at the players. He immediately notices there's one more player missing from the entire group.
"There's only 19 people..." Jack muttered, "Hey, Intern!"
On cue, a female intern shows up. She is a young woman with shoulder-length hair, black eyes, and has a serious expression on her face. She is wearing a red shirt with khaki cargo jeans, and black shoes.
"Where's the last car?" Jack asks her
"It's on it's way." The female intern answered, "She's about to show up at about...now!"
Jack and Chef turn around, from where the intern pointed at, to see the last car finally showing up from the last portal (Said portal ended up closed after the car's arrival). When the door opens, the figure reveals herself as a tall yet mysterious-looking girl with long black hair and black eyes. She appears to be wearing a red and white suit (Comprised of a red and white long-sleeved school shirt and a dark red shirt. She is also wearing black shoes and sneakers. Judging by her expression, she is feeling a bit shy about her new surroundings, which hasn't gone unnoticed by Jack.
"And last but not least! Here's the cool yet shy cat-lover: Sakaki!" Jack eagerly introduced, "Sakaki, the ace in the hole that actually loves cute things. Not going to lie...you are simply what Meg Griffin could've been, but that's besides the point."
"Uh...hello." Sakaki bowed, "Nice to meet you."
"Likewise, Sakaki-san."
Jack can see that Sakaki feels a little nervous over seeing the other players, forcing him to encourage her to relax a little.
"Dont worry. You won't have to worry about if Kamineko is around to hurt you. Remember, this is Total Drama, Sakaki-san." Jack continued, "so...I want you to simply focus on the competition while thinking about your love for the feline race. Ok?"
"Hmm...ok." Sakaki replied, "I'll take that into consideration."
"That's the spirit, Sakaki-san. Now go stand over there. With you here, we can finally begin this competition."
Sakaki proceeds to walk to the side, joining the rest of the players as she is now standing beside Big Smoke.
"Ok...with all 20 safe and sound...it's time to properly introduce ourselves." Chef finally said, gesturing Jack to take charge. Jack coughs, clearing his throat
"My name is Jack Houston. I'm the host of Total Drama Full Throttle." Jack introduced himself, "And this is my partner in crime: Chef Hatchet. He's also the host."
"What he said." Chef added
"And welcome to the race-track. This location will be your living quarters AND your dining quarters." Jack continued, "But just because we are in a different location, and because Chris McLean is not involved, doesn't mean that I don't get to have some fun with you guys. Besides, this IS Total Drama. Anything can happen in this show."
Rocko looks completely nervous upon hearing his words.
(Confession: Rocko Rama)
He looks a bit nervous. "I've heard of all the things Mr. McLean had did while he was host. While it's a good thing he's not hosting the show, who knows when you have Jack around? I mean...Mr. Houston seems like a nice guy, but then, he didn't really make Ms. Griffin look good with his snark and his comments."
The camera pans to Jack, Chef and the 20 players.
"Now that the introductions out of the way...everyone! Follow me."
He gestured them to follow both him and Chef. The 20 players, and the two hosts, are now heading towards a dark room. Once they are inside that room, Jack turns around, the only light being from the opened door.
"You see this room? This room is home to something important. There's a reason why the 20 of you have been picked to see who gets to win the 1 million dollar cash prize." Jack stated, "Now then...CHEF!"
On cue, Chef turns on the lights, revealing ten familiar statues of ten notable winners. For starters, there was a statue of a big eater (A big, portly man with blonde hair and black eyes, wearing a white t-shirt with the canada leaf on it, green shorts, and green-white sneakers), a statue of a delinquent (A man with a lime-green mohawk/black hair on the bottom and teal eyes, wearing a black and light-yellow long-shirt, dark-turquoise shorts, and red sneakers. He appears to be wearing a spiked choker on his neck, and has piercings on his eyebrow and ear), a statue of a former manipulative queen (A woman of asian ethnicity, with a black low ponytail and grey eyes, wearing a maroon corset, faded-green shorts, and black heels), a statue of a bubble boy (A black man with faded brown hair and black eyes, wearing a red jumper, yellow shorts, and orange and white sneakers), a statue of a normal man suffering from a syndrome (A man with dark-brown hair and brown eyes, wearing a aqua shirt, blue pants, and light-blue sneakers), a statue of a zombie survival expert (A man with brown hair and black eyes, wearing a faded-white jumper, a sleeveless orange puffer jacket, dark-blue pants and green sneakers. He is also wearing a green beanie on his wavy hair), two statues of another blonde hair man with blue eyes and a cowboy hat, wearing a pink open shirt, , and a brown-hair man wearing a pink singlet, a statue of a dark-brown hair girl, who's wearing a light blue shirt, blue jeans, and orange shoes, and one final statue of a man with dirty-blonde hair and green eyes, wearing a red hat on top. He appears to be wearing his own hockey shirt, brown cargo shorts, and light-brown boots. The twenty players can't help but look at them in awe, mainly due to the importance of the statues (Since they also played Total Drama before the 20 right now).
"I call this hall...the hall of legends. The winners are: Owen. Duncan. Heather. Cameron. Mike. Shawn. the Surfer Dudes. Priya and Wayne. These ten once took part in this competition before. And they end up winning not just the competition, but also, the grand prize." Jack explained about the statues, "Sooner or later, one of you...will join these ten individuals and etch your name in history. Not only that, but you will ALSO join them in winning the 1 million dollar cash prize. That prize is just as important as being someone who outlasted the others to get to this point."
"Does that mean we get to join this lot if we win?" Krohnen asks
"Only if you win the 1 million dollar cash prize, of course." Jack replied," Remember. Out of the 20 of you, there can only be one who will walk away with that prize and became the next person engraved into history."
Over his words, Kuroto has a smile on his face, now determined to win the 1 million dollar prize. Goro and Big Smoke also have similar intentions.
(Confession: Kuroto Dan)
He has his trademark smile. "Well well well...looks like there were ten others that reached godhood like me...no matter...I will do anything to not only get the 1 million dollar prize, but also, I will be immortalized into godhood like the 10 that won this competition. Besides...I am a God! I know what to do to win!"
(Confessional: Goro)
He is a little unimpressed. "Looks like there were ten fools that had the priviledge to become champions by taking part in this competition that I'm taking part now. I have to say...I'm not too impressed."
(Confessional: Big Smoke)
"Looks like those big dogs did manage to achieve what they truly desire. This time, I will do what's necessary for me to claim what is truly mine."
The camera now focuses on Jack, Chef and the 20 players, all of them are still inside the hall of legends.
"Now that I've got everyone's attention, I'm going to explain a couple of rules." Jack muttered out, "For starters..."
He immediately throws a bottle at Kuroto, who is annoying the interns by bragging about his prowress, but somehow, the bottle hits Krohnen, who was unfortunate enough to get hit by the glass. Jack winced over the impact.
"OW!" Krohnen winced, "What was that for?!"
"Sorry, I was aiming at the egomaniac. Not you." Jack apologized, "My bad."
"Anyway...the rules goes as follows." Jack continued, "Since this is Total Drama, and since all of you have not played this game before, the one rule I can say is this...Do NOT find ways to piss me off. If you do that while disregarding everything else, I will personally make your life a living hell, like what I'm about to do to Kuroto if he STOPS gloating about how he's the only one capable of reaching god-hood."
Kuroto immediately stops annoying the interns once he hears Jack's snappy words. (Jack: Thank you)
"So...are we going to be picking the teams, Mr. Houston?" Rocko asked
"Actually...I have the team list here."
Jack pulls out a list from inside his pocket.
"First up..."
"Lucas. Juru. Big Smoke. Crash. Goro. Miku. Luna. Rukia. Sakaki and Kuki." Jack revealed, "You will be the team known...as the Wonderful Marksmen!"
On cue, a picture of a rifle, with the team's color (Orange), appears in front of the camera. The Ten Marksmen were confused by the name, especially Miku.
"Um..." Miku asks, "Why are we the Marksmen? And what's with the gun theme, Jack-san?"
"I don't know. It just sounded cooler in my head." Jack shrugged, "I just came up with the name on the fly."
He turns to the other half.
"Now then... we have Kuroto Dan. Chunhua. Nora. Lois. Heisenberg. Krohnen. Yukiko. Bender. Ty Lee and Rocko." Jack continued, "You guys will be..the Artful Dodgers!"
On cue, a picture of a spaceship, with the team's color (Yellow), appears in front of the camera. Yukiko was really surprised over the team name
"Wait...did you just call our team based on the novel-" Yukiko tried to say
"Anywho." Jack cut her off, "Dodgers? Marksmen? With the teams made, meet me at the actual race-track. I have something to show you all."
As Jack walks away from the other contestants, Juru looks at his entire team, feeling surprised over the variety of people in his group.
(Confession: Juru Atsuta)
He looks surprised over his team. "Ok...for my team, I have a stuntman, a soul reaper, a child operative, a gangster, a marsupial, a 4-armed dragon-thing, two sisters and an athletic student who is a fan of cute things. (He shrugs) I'll just take what I can. It's like my other four teammates all over again hehe."
The camera now pans to the empty race-track, where the two co-hosts and the 20 players, were all outside in the sunny and bright weather.
"Now then. Before we start the competition. I have one more surprise for you all."
"Is it the part where you give me a million dollars, you fool?" Kuroto exclaimed, much to Jack's annoyance.
"Uh...No?" Jack said, "In fact, I have...THIS!"
He pulls out two familiar statues (The Chris McLean statue and the Chef Hatchet bobblehead) from his pocket.
"These two little statues, despite what they look like, are actually the invincibility statues!" Jack explained excitedly, "These are your tickets back in the game. Anyone who manages to find either of the two statues can not only use them, but also, protects you from elimination! Even if you have received the most amount of votes!"
"Wait...does that mean that you can be safe if you use those statues, Mr. Houston?" Rocko innocently asks
"Of course! You can be safe if you use either of the two statues. But...there's a catch."
"Catch?" Lucas interjected
"Yes. The catch is that you have to find the Chris McLean statue in...THERE!"
He points to a screen, revealing a familiar island that is covered up in clouds.
"Boney Island may be in Camp Wawanakwa, but it's still the place that you have to find the Chris McLean statue." Jack continued, "If you want to get that statue, you need to stay in that island to get that statue. Just because it's a New Era doesn't mean it's different from the usual Total Drama fare, is it?"
Everyone except Kuroto, Goro and Chunhua were worried about the island, notably on what the island looks like, especially the various violent animals that are roaming around. What got them alarmed was a familiar shark staring at all 20 of them. He appears to be smiling evilly while glaring at all of them, daring them to come to the island. Jack immediately turns the screen off.
"Ok...I'll just turn the TV off. Anyway. Since you guys are all newcomers, I'll let you guys know that the Chef Hatchet Bobblehead will be placed somewhere around this race-track you guys are in now." Jack added, "It just won't be fun putting two statues at the same island now, would it?"
Everyone can only smile though Chunhua looks genuinely interested on what the host said.
(Confession: Zhang Chunhua)
She has a thoughtful look on her face. "Interesting...so there's two statues that ensure your survival even if you get eliminated? Those statues are as good as mine..."
"Anyway. With that explanation out of the way...we can now begin the first challenge." Jack added, "Players? I'm about to show you something...cool...like this!"
He eagerly pulls off the tarp, revealing a big truck. The truck, despite it's appearance, is modelled like a large RV with four wheels. Everyone, even Goro and Kuroto, can stare at the massive truck in front of them with awe and fascination.
"What...what is this?" Juru asked curiously
"This...is a big truck." Jack explained, in full detail, "This truck, despite it's simplicity, and it's size, is actually your way of transport because this year? The challenge locations will take place through the virtual highway."
"Virtual what?" Lois said in confusion.
"Yeah. I'm not joking. The Virtual Highway is a place where that lengthy highway is connected to many universes that will serve as the locations for your challenges." Jack continued, "And this truck is the only way for us to even travel around. This truck contains everything you need to prepare yourself for what lies ahead for you."
He opens the door, walking inside the truck.
"Now then...Hop inside." Jack called out from inside the truck.
(Confession: Luna Loud)
"Oh yeah...this really reminds me of Lisa. With all the dimension hopping Lisa mentioned, and with the rest of the players being from other universes, I think I know what the host-dude meant about the virtual highway."
The canera now pans to the inside of the big truck. With all of them inside, everyone is having a big look at the interior. Luna can't help but get excited over seeing the massive speaker in front of her. Once she sees the speaker, she tries to plug in her guitar, but realized that the speaker is turned off. However, she then sees two acoustic guitars beside the speaker, much to her joy.
"Dude...this truck has everything!" Luna excitedly shouted, "Look! They even have another set of guitars for me to practice my jam seshes!"
"You have a guitar?" Lucas asked her
"Yeah, dude!" Luna enthusiastically replied, "There's also another guitar over there if you want to try it out, dude."
Jack suddenly appears, having walked out of the driver's seat.
"Welcome to the virtual highway." Jack says, "Where we will go to our location for the first challenge."
"Uh...weren't you supposed to be driving?" Krohnen worriedly asked
"Don't worry, Krohnen." Jack assured, "The truck is on auto-pilot so this vehicle knows exactly where we're going. In fact, I'm just here to let you guys know that we're on our way so for now, chill out and relax. You guys have earned it so relax and wait until we arrive at our destination."
The first thing Bender does is to lie down from a chair and relax, with his beer in hand.
"Finally." Bender sighed in relief, "We can catch a break."
"Oh, by the way." Jack added, "Make sure you hold on to something. Because we're going to speed things up."
"Wait, what did he say?" Lucas said nervously
Suddenly, the truck picks up a lot of speed, forcing everybody to hold on to something with all their strength. Krohnen looks outside from the window, and realizes that the truck is going so fast through the highway, much to his frustration. Bender immediately falls down from the chair.
"Ow...my metal a-" Bender tried to say
"WHA...WHAT THE HELL?! WHY IS IT GOING SO FAST?!" Krohnen yelled out
"I don't know!" Juru shouted back, "Something's not right! The host never told us something about this! We have to do something!"
"Why don't we ask the host?" Miku suggested, "Maybe he knows about what's going on here."
"Good idea." Rukia nodded, "Luna-san!"
"Host-dude, do something!" Luna exclaimed, holding on to his arm. However, she immediatly falls down to the ground
"Wha...what the heck?" Luna muttered
Juru, Rukia, Miku, Yukiko, and Big Smoke try to get the host's attention, but in doing so, their hands went through, something that didn't sit well with Lois
"Wha...what the hell is going on here?!" Lois angrily demanded, "Why is the Host see-through?!"
"Sorry for the sudden surprise, but actually...I'm a hologram." Jack explained, "Just a simple hologram. And nothing else."
Luna's eyes widened in shock once she tries to grab hold of his collar. She immediately gasped upon seeing her hand go through his holographic body, thereby confirming he was a hologram after all.
"Wh-what?" Luna stammered
"A hologram?" Yukiko exclaimed
"Hey, dawg! Why didn't you tell us you weren't here?!" Big Smoke called out
"Why? Because I felt like messing with you. I apologize for my deception, but since the truck is in the famous virtual highway, which was the reason why you guys came to the race-track in the first place, I figured that I should show you where exactly we're going." Jack's hologram continued, "It may be a short ride, but there's a reason why I warned you. Like I said before...anything can happen in Total Drama. This is one of those examples."
"We're going to die. We're really going to die." Nora muttered under her breath.
Crash can only say "Woah!" as he also starts freaking out. Rocko? He was also freaking out. Aside from Sakaki, Goro, Chunhua and Kuroto, who were trying to hold on to something from inside, the others were freaking out as a result of the hologram.
"Mr. Houston, I don't like this!" Rocko shouted, trying to hold on to something in an effort to prevent himself from falling over, "C-Can you get the van to slow down?!"
"Sorry, but I can't." Jack's hologram said, "Besides. It won't be as fun if you attempt to stop this ride from happening. I DID say we were going through the virtual highway to get to our location. It's not my fault none of you took the hint."
Everyone immediately groans in response to his answer (Except Sakaki, who was busy trying to keep herself still from the bumpy road). Krohnen was about to blow a gasket.
"You absolute jerk!" Krohen shouted, "I'm going to get you for this!"
"Well thank you for your kind words, Krohnen. Not to worry. You will arrive at your destination so...Good luck! See you at the finish line!"
With the above sentence, the hologram vanishes in front of them, forcing the 20 players to start freaking out, mostly because of the virtual truck going so fast through the visual highway. As all of them were screaming at the top of their lungs due to the extremely fast speed the virtual truck was going, the camera now shifts to Jack, who's watching from the camera at another location (Presumably the location of the first challenge). He has an evil smile on his face once he sees both Lois and Big Smoke freaking out in front of the camera.
"You know...I did warn these twenty poor souls that Total Drama is a risky competition to take part. I mean, there's a reason why Alejandro and Scott had to be placed inside machines." Jack said, "I'm surprised that they're still around since Chris McLean grew too prideful and arrogant to the point he couldn't be bothered to at least TRY to care...but hey, it's not my problem. That's Chris' problem."
He turns to Chef, who is also sitting down, looking at the cameras.
"Say, Chef. Want some?" Jack offered, showing him a bag of jellybabies.
"Don't mind if I do." Chef agreed, pulling out a Jelly Baby from the bag.
"God...I love this show." Jack sighed happily, "Anyway, that's enough time for this episode. Join us next time, where we start our first challenge. Where? I don't know, but the truck will directly provide you the answer you need next time. And who will be the first casualty-I mean...first person to fall victim to the dangers of this competition? Join us next time, where the answers will be revealed...on Total! Drama! FULL...THROTTLE!"
TO BE CONTINUED
Note Section: Episode 1
Authors Note: I'm sorry that I had to cut the first episode into two parts, but this episode marks the full debut of Total Drama Full Throttle after a little over five years (Because holy shit, that was such a long gap). Don't worry. The real fun begins in the next episode, where we start off our first challenge. That being said...holy shit! After five years, and one restart, I actually managed to complete the first episode of Total Drama Full Throttle for real. I admit, I was really nervous coming in to write this episode, but I eventually decided to release this episode before the end of the month so I'm happy about how it turned out. The amount of research I had to do took me a few weeks for me to fully show how they act like they are in their original series.
Explanation Note: As for Juru, Kuroto, Heisenberg, Krohnen, Lois, Big Smoke and Chunhua's descriptions, I tried looking into their wikia pages but I found no appearance descriptions for the seven mentioned so I had to resort to making up their designs based on their most recent pictures. Believe me, coming up with their own designs was not easy if they don't explain what they really look like in their own wikia pages. So, with that, I apologize if my character descriptions about the four mentioned were not really up to date with what they look like. I ended up giving Chunhua a modernized take on her outfit from Dynasty Warriors 8 with her hair from 9 because I had to come up with her design out of the fly. Lois? She is the only one that I had to explain through one of her pictures.
Other Note (About why I picked the ten): Not only do I count the Ridonculous Race as a season, but also, aside from Owen, Priya and Wayne (Owen was confirmed as the canon winner of the original Island due to Priya mentioning that he was the first ever winner of Total Drama during Owen's cameo appearance on the 2023 reboot. I should really watch the reboot), I picked the winners based on how I view the season and who's more deserving of the 1 million dollars. While it was tough deciding on either Duncan or Beth, since both played well, especially Beth, Heather was the better option as the canon winner of World Tour since she was the only person that actually stood a chance against Alejandro (Ironically) compared to Cody, who, despite placing really high in that season, was actually carried by Sierra through most of World Tour. I would've been ok with Cody being a finalist, but let's face it. He really got carried into the final three so he didn't really have a good chance to win the million either way, even if he were to face off against Heather if he won the tiebreaker. Cameron? I felt he was deserving to win the million compared to Lightning due to Cameron actually protecting everybody in the end, which not only made me convinced, but also, his selfless act of sharing the money between the rest of the second generation cast was really noble and heroic unlike Lightning, who selfishly kept the 1 million to himself. As much as I was not a fan of All-Stars, Mike being picked as the canon winner may have to do with him finally finding the closure he needed after that mental battle he had to take through the entire season. Sure, Mal was a bad villain, but Mike overcoming that alter-ego and winning the whole thing just made up everything bad about Mal in the first place. Oh...the wasted potential, indeed. As for Sky? It was either her or Shawn, which, I admit, was as tough as picking either Duncan or Beth for Full Throttle's canon winners since both of them ended up being equally matched despite coming from different backgrounds (Sky being an Olympian in training and Shawn being a fucking Action Hero despite being paranoid over zombies). In the end, I eventually decided to pick Shawn as the canon winner of Pahkitew. Why? Because him winning made much more sense (him reconciling with Jasmine) compared to Sky (Who ended up causing some serious problems regarding Dave). And also, with Axel, maybe his efforts of preparing for the zombie apocalypse were not in vain after all hehe.
Other Note Part 2: In case if you guys got bored reading the above, I chose the Surfer Dudes sorely because while the Police Cadets ended up being stronger competitors, to the point they eliminated the Ice Dancers, compared to the two, but the Surfer Dudes had one thing that ultimately gave them the victory: Kindness. If it wasn't for their efforts in helping the Best Friends (Carrie and Devin), Carrie would not have brought the Surfer Dudes back from the competition to eventually win the entire thing. Look on the bright side, MacArthur's doing well in her adult life as what the 2023 reboot confirmed so no need to worry if the Police Cadets should be more deserving compared to the Surfer Dudes.
Final Note: And with that, thanks for reading this surprisingly long chapter. Next time on Full Throttle? the first challenge begins so stay tuned for more. Reviews and constructive criticism are welcome. If you have any challenge ideas from franchises, leave a review below because Full Throttle's challenges will be inspired by all type of media.
