In this story, Faith's backstory has been a bit altered as she is called earlier. Her watcher wasn't killed by Kakistos, so there wasn't a history with that ancient vampire. There's no reason to bring him and Mr. Trick into town. That means no Band Candy storyline. As I've written the storylines and used both characters in other stories, I just didn't want to anyway in this one.

Chapter 7: A Weasley World

*****A Few Weeks Later******

George and Fred loved living in Sunnydale. They had found a flat around the corner at a reasonable price. Their mother, of course, had already planned a visit. She had waited a month as Arthur had insisted that she let the boys get settled.

"They are of legal age, Molly," he told her.

"They didn't graduate, Arthur," she pointed out.

"They learned enough to make a nice living for themselves," he countered. "Plus, they want to make a difference in the world."

"On a dangerous hellmouth," Molly said, her anxiety showing. "I wish that they had never met that—"

"Stop—" he cut her off. "We have been studying Rupert's book of demons. You very well know that there are vengeance demons out there, Molly. They look for people to make wishes. They especially look for wishes like that that could fundamentally alter the world. If Buffy had not come into the world, Voldemort could still be alive, and other children of ours could be dead. You don't know!"

Molly cringed at his uncharacteristic reprimand. Since he had killed Voldemort, he had gotten so much attention and a promotion at work. Now he was a bit more assertive. She was happy for him, of course. However, it was jarring at times.

"I'm sorry. I just worry so much," she admitted. "I can't sleep. Charlie's working with animals that can kill him, and now our twins are so far away and at the most dangerous place on Earth!"

"Why don't we go see them?" he suggested. "It's been a month. We can port over there this weekend. I'll make the arrangements if you floo Severus and let him know to tell the boys. They have a business, so we have to give notice."

Molly smiled and clasped her hands excitedly. "Oh, Arthur, that would be wonderful!" she gushed. Then she hugged him.

A trip to see the twins was just what she needed.

George and Fred took the news of their parents' impending arrival very well. Both boys knew their mother would cook them some English fare while in town, so they were very excited about that. Already they were sick of American fast food.

"We need to think about hiring some help," Fred said. "With the website sales, we can hardly keep up. When people come to visit us, it's less of an imposition."

George agreed and conjured a simple HELP WANTED sign. He had not yet made it back to his counter before the door opened.

A strangely grotesque looking creature wearing American clothes approached them. He smiled at the twins. "Hi, guys. I saw the sign and thought since you owned a magical joke shop, you might not be as prejudiced as normal folk," he said.

George and Fred exchanged glances. Then Fred said, "Oh? Do you have a skin disorder?"

"You're wizards, right? Real ones?" the creature asked, looking nervous.

The boys nodded. "We are," they said. The hellmouth was such a freeing place. Normal rules did not apply.

"Great!" he said, his smile widening. "I'm a loose-skinned demon. We're very peaceful demons. We don't harm humans, only kittens—they're a delicacy. We can protect ourselves if endangered, but we tend to run from a fight."

The twins stepped away to discuss it. "He could stay in the backroom and work on the online orders," Fred said.

"The high school kids would probably just think he was wearing a costume," George said. "Cordelia says those that aren't in the know dismiss everything supernatural."

"True," Fred said. "I guess we can try him and see how he does. He probably doesn't have a social security card, though. We'll have to pay him in cash."

"Let's ask," George said. "What's your name?"

"Clement, but I go by Clem," he said.

"Do you have a social security number?" George asked.

Clem shook his head. "No. If I save enough money, I can probably buy one off someone in Los Angeles. I have a cousin there who knows a guy who does that kind of thing," he said.

"Well, how about we hire you to work on shipping our online orders?" Fred suggested. "You'll work mostly in the back. The high school kids come in after school. Then you can work eventually the last two hours to close up."

"That would be wonderful!" Clem exclaimed. "Thank you so much!"

"How much would you like to get paid?" George asked.

Clem frowned as he thought about it. "Would six dollars an hour be too much?" he asked.

"Xander, our American business partner said the American minimum wage was $7.25, but it was higher in California," George said.

"Why don't we just pay you eight since we're not taking out taxes?" Fred suggested.

"That sounds amazing!" Clem said, hardly able to believe his good fortune.

"We are closed on Sundays," George said. "However, you may come in and work on that day if you would like as you can get products ready. We work on creating more products normally Sunday afternoons."

"Our parents are coming into town this weekend, so come back tomorrow morning at ten," Fred said. "We'll get to train you a few days before they arrive."

"I'll be here. Thanks. What do I call you?" Clem asked.

"Since most people can't tell us apart, Mr. Weasley," Fred said. "But I'm Fred. My brother is George."

After their new employee left, Fred grinned. "You will be the one telling Cordelia that we hired an unsightly employee," he said.

"I cannot wait to see the look on Mum's face," George said, snickering.

Fred laughed. A few hours later, a young lady came into the shop.

She approached the counter and looked between the two brothers in surprise. "T-twins?" she asked.

"Maybe," Fred said, grinning.

"Or you are seeing doubles," George added.

She gave them a shy smile. "I saw your help wanted sign. I'm a freshman at USC Sunnydale and c-could really use a part-time j-job," she said.

"You forgot to take down the sign," Fred told his brother.

"Me? I conjured it. You were supposed to do that!" George said.

"He who conjures must un-conjure!" Fred informed him.

"So this shop is a real magic shop, not just a joke shop?" she asked.

"Maybe," Fred said.

"It depends," George said.

"Do you believe in magic?" Fred asked.

The blonde girl nodded. "I do," she said.

"We would love to hire a beautiful American woman that believes in magic, but we just hired someone," George said.

"Oh," she said, looking so sad that Fred felt very bad.

"How many hours were you wanting?" he asked.

"About ten or fifteen. Just to have some money for personal items since I don't get support from my family," she said.

"Well, we might be able to do that," Fred said. He couldn't imagine family not willing to help. Of course, maybe hers were just too poor. Maybe she had too many siblings like he did, and her family just didn't have enough to spare. Fred felt sympathy for the girl, who seemed very nice. Clearly, he was missing his own sister, who wasn't very nice since she was the youngest of so many boys. However, he adored his devious Ginny.

He and George stepped aside to talk. "We have to hire her," he told his twin.

"We pay two new people that's less money for us," George said.

"But more time for us to go hunting," Fred said. "That's the real reason we're here. And we've already tripled our projected profit stream anyway."

"Okay," George said with a shrug. After Ron's murder, he no longer cared much about getting rich anyway.

Fred walked back to the counter. "What is your name?" he asked her.

"Tara. Tara Maclay," she said.

"Well, Tara, I'm Fred and that's George," Fred said. "Write your number down. We'll call you."

The girl did that. "I really appreciate it. I'm done with classes by two," she said.

"Well, that's good. You could help us with the high school rush if you wanted to come here and work three to six," Fred said.

"That's a good idea," George said. "Those middle school boys are insane over this shop."

"They try to steal sometimes, too," Fred said. "We have to be vigilant."

"That'd be great," Tara said. "Fifteen hours a week if I did it Monday through Friday."

"Since you don't have problems with magic, what's your stance on demons?" Fred asked.

Tara looked anxious at the question, wondering if they saw the demon in her. "Why do you ask?" she prodded.

"Oh, well, the other employee we hired, Clem, is a very nice demon," Fred said. Then he looked at George. "Bollocks. We should've asked Buffy before we hired him. She is going to kick our arse!"

"Who's that?" Tara asked.

"She's the town's vampire slayer," Fred said.

"This entire town is on a hellmouth," George said. "Lots of supernatural creatures here. Some demons are evil and will try to kill you. Some aren't."

"S-some demons aren't evil?" Tara asked in surprise.

"Buffy says if they don't try to kill you, they aren't. Some are just living their lives like us," Fred said. "Clem is like that. Seemed really nice."

"We better go see Buffy," George said.

"Or call her," Fred said.

Tara felt like Alice in Wonderland as she tried to take it all in. The rabbit hole she had stumbled in, however, seemed exciting. The boys didn't seem any older than her own age. Imagine owning your business so young. To openly use magic in such a clever way must be amazing. She wondered if she should reveal her own magical leanings. Then she decided it would be best to wait and get to know them better.

******The Next Day*****

Buffy stopped by the twins' shop after school like they'd requested. "Hey, guys. What's up?" she asked, giving them a friendly wave. She loved these guys, who had uprooted their entire lives to come to her own personal purgatory to fight monsters after they'd attracted the attention of her enemy when she'd brought them here on a field trip. Ron's death was one she could never forgive herself for—along with her father's.

"Mum's coming to town with Dad on Friday," George told her.

"Cool. Mom will be glad to see them even if Father won't be," she said with a grin.

They laughed. "We hired some help," Fred said. "One college girl will start tomorrow after school. Her name's Tara, and she'll work from three to six."

"To help with the after-school crowd," Buffy guessed. "Good idea."

"Yes," Fred said, nodding.

"But then there's Clem," George added. "He's in the back. He's a nice demon."

"You hired a demon without consulting me or Faith?" she asked, glaring. "What were you thinking?"

"That he was a nice demon," Fred said, echoing his brother.

"We're asking you now," George pointed out.

"Where is he?" Buffy asked, looking around.

"In the backroom," Fred said. "He's a loose-skinned demon, so we figured that working on our online orders was the best place for him."

Buffy marched toward the room, hoping she didn't have to put down their newest hire. She saw someone putting items in boxes.

"Clem. We need you to meet Buffy," Fred called out.

Clem turned around and looked. Buffy saw the fear fill his eyes, and she felt like the worst kind of bully. "It's okay," she said, walking slowly toward the floppy-eared demon.

"I'm not evil. I promise. My kind of demon never hurts humans," he assured her, holding up his hands in surrender as she approached.

Buffy looked at him a long time before nodding. "Okay, Clem. I believe you," she said. "I'm Buffy. It's nice to meet you."

Clem relaxed as Buffy turned away and walked back toward the twins. "Don't go hiring anymore demons without asking me or Faith," she said. "Or at least give Giles a call. He's the expert after all."

"All right," Fred agreed while his brother nodded.

The three humans went back to the front, and a customer came in. Fred went to the register.

"George, you know Cordelia is running for Homecoming Queen," Buffy said.

"What's that?" he asked.

"Well, every year, the football team has a football game that is declared homecoming, and there's a dance the day after the game. Three or four couples are nominated. Normally, they are football players and cheerleaders," she explained. "Or one person, like Cordelia might be nominated simply because she's so popular. Of course, she is a cheerleader, but she's not dating a football player. However, Draco's new and shiny and has been nominated even though he's not playing any sports. Faith has been too since they're the new hot couple, and she's also a cheerleader."

"That sounds like a potential problem," George said.

"It was something the old me would've really been into," she said. "Popularity contests were my kind of thing. Now, though, I could care less, but Cordy cares. So I want it for her."

"Well, then so do I," George said.

"Do you think you and your genius brother could come up with something that we give out to students to aid her? Giving out homemade bake goods is so last year," Buffy said.

George grinned. "I am sure we are up to the challenge," he said.

"Great!" she said. "The dance and vote is next Friday."

"Plenty of time," he assured her.

Buffy knew that Cordelia would be excited to know the twins would help her. Her cousin, however, would have to find her own date. Buffy wasn't about to get into the matchmaking business.

******Friday******

When Molly and Arthur used the floo connected to Severus' home to arrive, they were surprised to see Narcissa there also.

In fact, there were several there that the couple did not know, but they were soon introduced. Faith's watcher, Diana, had been wanting to see the floo in action. Draco was there simply because Faith was there.

"So there really are two slayers?" Molly said after she was introduced to Faith.

"What? You thought my daughter was lying?" Severus asked with a glare.

"Americans are prone to hyperbole," she said.

Diana chuckled. "That is true, but I assure you that Faith is a slayer," she said.

Molly liked meeting a fellow Brit and greeted the watcher warmly while Arthur chatted with Narcissa.

"I cannot believe you are residing with muggles," Arthur said. "It must be an exciting adventure."

"The Chases have been very accommodating and welcoming even allowing my house elves into their home," Narcissa said. "I did not realize that muggles could be so kind. They adore Cordelia and were very happy that she found blood family. They treat Draco and I like members of their family. Her mother and I have become good friends."

"That's wonderful," Arthur said, pleased. "I am happy for you both."

Molly heard her comment and marveled at the change in the once intolerant blood purist.

"We would love to take you out to dinner," Joyce said.

"How about tomorrow?" Fred suggested. "I'd like to take them home and get them settled."

They parted ways, and the twins took their parents' hands and apparated to their apartment.

Molly looked around with a critical eye, happy to see her boys kept a clean home.

"Why this is quite nice, boys," Arthur said. "You have a tele!"

"Buffy and Cordelia insisted that we couldn't live in America and not have one," George said. "We don't have too much time to watch it, but it's nice to watch before bedtime."

While Molly fixed them a large English dinner, Arthur learned all about American television. It was a very pleasant first night for them all.

*****City Hall*****

Mayor Wilkins had magical wards all over his city, and he knew every time one of those British wizards came into this town. Damn that slayer. When she died at that ancient vampire's hand, all of Wilkins' plans went sideways. Sure, it was great that Summers left. She had proven to be a bit too talented at the slaying. To discover that she was both a slayer and a witch was upsetting. Then she started bringing children to town on field trips. Come visit the little hellmouth. Rumor had it that they were taking a class. Defense of the Dark Arts. When one of them had managed to kill Drusilla, who had slayed the resident slayer, Summers' replacement, he knew things would become troublesome for him.

This was his big year. He couldn't let anything jeopardize it. According to his new right hand, Buffy Summers, now Buffy Snape, could transform into a dragon. Her ability allowed her to easily dispatched Spike, who killed her dad and one of the twin wizards' brothers. The pair of twins who had managed to kill Drusilla were now in his town. Then Cordelia Chase returned with a cousin, who was a wizard and brought his witch mother. It was getting out of control. Mayor Wilkins did not like all the power players in his town. He could not afford to waste time on magical duels.

"Who has arrived?" he asked Angelus.

"I did not see anyone with Buffy when she was out patrolling," Angelus said.

"I felt new arrivals. There are new magical players on the board," Wilkins told him.

"It's not Willow or Xander coming for a visit?" Angelus asked.

"No. They are children of the hellmouth. They would not trigger my wards," Wilkins told him.

"It could be one of the Weasleys," Angelus said. "Buffy once wrote to Angel and told him that there were many of them. I believe a family of seven or eight. Only one daughter. Spike killed the youngest son."

"The twins are here, so maybe family is visiting?" Wilkins suggested.

"Most likely," Angelus said.

"Find out for sure. I don't like not knowing who is in my town. Especially when the father of that family was the one to kill Lord Voldemort, a very powerful dark wizard," Wilkins said.

"He was insane. He split his soul into several pieces," Angelus shared.

"That was how he gained immortality," Wilkins said. "A clever but dangerous practice. I just try not to engage in magical duels. There are too many magic wielders in this town now. The Chase girl is now a witch. I play golf with her father. I knew she was adopted, but I had no idea she had such potential. The twins have set up shop here. Of course, a new business is good for the community, but they are powerful wizards. What is their true purpose?"

"Entrepreneurs," Angelus said. "Danger of the hellmouth seducing them in."

"I think they are also here for some payback," Wilkins told him. "You should be careful. You and Spike were family."

Angelus scoffed. "Like those twin bozos could ever be a threat to me," he said.

"I'd never underestimate a warlock or wizard," Wilkins said. "Let me know if you find out who the new arrival is."

"Will do," Angelus replied. It was amusing to discover that the town was run by a dark warlock who had been alive since the town's founding. However, he was not a vampire. Sure, he was a bit weird with the germ phobia, but Angelus spent over a century with Drusilla. His weirdness was mild in comparison to his crazy girl.

Damn those twins. Angelus decided to check out their place of business to see if some new Weasleys were in town.

*****Weasleys Magical Wonders*****

The twins enjoyed the delicious dinner their mother made and listened as their parents caught them up on the family gossip. Then they wanted to see their business, so the twins walked them around the corner.

"Why this is very convenient, boys," Molly said.

"Yes, we are very lucky," Fred said.

"I love the sign," Arthur said as they stopped outside the store to admire the flashing sign.

"Xander ordered it as this place Willow found on the web," George said.

"What web?" Molly asked.

"The world wide web," George said.

"I don't understand," Molly said.

George shrugged. "We don't either, but that's where the online orders are made somehow. Willow designed the website that goes on the computer where the online lives. Muggles love that place. It has something do with computers and stuff. Willow tried to explain it to us—"

"But we didn't really care," Fred finished with a grin.

"Muggles are so inventive," Arthur said. "They had to be since they live without magic."

The door opened, and an attractive college aged man came in. It took Fred a minute to recognize him from the video.

"You aren't welcome here," he said.

"Son, that's not how you're going to attract repeat business," Arthur said in disapproval.

"Well, that's what I wanted to know," Angelus said with a smile. "The mayor could tell we had some new magical visitors, and he sent me to see who it was. I figured it was a Weasley."

"Who are you?" Molly asked.

"That's Angelus," Fred said.

"So the parents came for a visit? That's nice. I hope the visit is short," Angelus said.

"Not that it's any of your business, but we'll be gone by Monday," Arthur said.

Angelus smiled. "Great. We don't need the wizard who killed the Dark Lord in town. I might have to start killing some redheaded Brits when I happen to have a fondness for them. There was this sweet redhead in Wales. She was a spitfire," he said. "She tasted like cherries."

George felt sick and conjured a fireball, throwing it at him. When it dissipated, he knew Buffy and Cordelia weren't exaggerating. "So it's true," he said.

Angelus laughed. "That I'm immune to your magics? Yep. Voldemort made sure after Spike was killed that the same thing couldn't easily happen to me," he said. "Of course, I am not about to test Buffy's dragon fire. Luckily, she loves to put her hands on me!"

Molly could not believe that this was the vampire that tormented the slayer. It was clear that he enjoyed it.

"My son told you to leave, so leave," Arthur said sternly.

George decided, though, not to ask. He grabbed the crossbow that Buffy gave him from behind the counter and fired it at Angelus. Unfortunately, he had not had much practice with it, so he didn't hit him in the heart. However, Angelus' growl of pain as it went in his stomach was most satisfying.

"You missed!" Angelus exclaimed.

"Maybe. Or maybe I was aiming for your stomach," George said coldly. "Does it hurt? I hope so."

"Get out," Fred said.

George reloaded. "The next one will go in your dick," he said, aiming it at his groin area.

Angelus yanked the arrow out of his stomach and threw it at Molly, who conjured a shield, so it bounced harmlessly off it.

Glaring malevolently at all of them, he turned and left.

"Mum, you were brilliant!" Fred said, moving to embrace her. George moved from behind the counter to do the same.

"I am sorry about that," George said.

"Nonsense," Molly said. "You have reassured me that you can handle yourselves quite well."

"I agree," Arthur said. "He was very intimidating and confidant. A vampire that is immune to magic is a very scary thing, but you didn't blink, George. You just pulled out that muggle weapon."

"It was brave and wonderful," Molly said, hugging George.

"So was your shield, Mum," George said.

"I have to call Buffy and give her a report," Fred said. "Any Angelus sightings are something she has to know about."

"Why don't we apparate there and tell her in person?" Arthur suggested. "I'd like to share our excitement firsthand."

So Buffy and Severus heard an account of the Weasleys' encounter with Angelus.

Naturally, Severus was privately annoyed. Leave it to the Weasleys to excel at even this.

Mayor Wilkins was vastly relieved when he felt the parents leave on Monday as Angelus reported they said they would.

His staff wondered who he was referring to when he was heard muttering, "those redheaded menaces."

The twins hoped that Charlie or Bill would come for a visit next.

******Chapter End******

I hadn't really planned on a Weasley centered chapter, but when I started this chapter, it just seemed like a fun idea. I hope you enjoyed it. Did you like my two new additions?
