Neb: Delta wiped the floor with Komoto and Domori is still going through the changes. Valt offers Crystal the advice to accept Domori for all of his selves, but she is worried about him. Soon a giant clash of Dragons will emerge with Dante, Delta, and Domori becoming the strongest bladers of the Rise Era. I do not own Beyblade, Beyblade Burst, Beyblade Burst Rise, or any other forms of Beyblade.
It was late night again as Domori headed back to his house. He knew Concealed was following him again, he could feel it. But this time he wasn't going to give his personalities a chance to battle against the cloaked figures. He knew that they wanted control. Domori decided before he completed the trip home he'd take the longer route and stop by his Aunt's Watch Repair shop. He doubted his stalker would follow him all the way there. How wrong was he, that feeling followed him all the way to the watch shop.
"Dammit stop following me," Domori yelled as he turned around. His eyes widened when he noticed a familiar face. A blonde girl wearing a track suit was standing before him. "Candice?"
"Domori things have gotten out of hand," she teared up. "I lost your pages, I meant to give them back."
Domori stared at her unsure how to respond. "The blueprints for the Spring Loaded Beyblades," Domori figured. "It's ok, those were only prototypes with no real advantages over any of our beyblades. You took Changeling to a level beyond those pages."
"But now there's a cult dressed up like Concealed," Candice pointed out. "It's all my fault that your Spring Loaded system is out there in the hands of the public."
"No, that was my fault," Domori sighed. "I got careless with cleaning up after my concept arts and blueprints. Had I managed my papers better you wouldn't have even gotten Changeling."
"Had I not gotten Changeling I wouldn't have even made it to that tournament where I faced Sin," Candice shook her head. "Only ranked bladers were aloud to enter and I had just started playing the game within that same month."
"Becoming a ranked blader in a month is still impressive though," Domori admitted. "It took me a while when i started, but that was because there wasn't a lot of strong bladers to fight when I was younger."
"I see," Candice nodded. "Well I guess if your not mad I should get going."
"Hold on a minute," Domori stopped her. "Did you ever evolve your Changeling?"
Candice shook her head. "I kept blading to the end of the Turbo Era when I joined Sin's club. But when she went to America I kind of stopped blading all together."
"I see," it was Domori's turn to respond. "Well I think you should build a new Changeling. Just to remind all of these Concealed knock offs who the real Concealed is."
"That was just a guise to keep Sin from recognizing me," Candice shook her head.
"It was another form of yourself," Domori responded. "The way you battled as Concealed was different from the way you battled as yourself. Perhaps it was the mask blocking your emotions, but you seemed more calm and focused."
"I did get emotional when I took the mask off," Candice admitted. "So what are you saying, you want me to dress up as Concealed again?"
"I want you to figure out how you can tap into that power again," Domori explained. "Without the hood, and then come face me again after you've cleared up your copies."
Candice stared at him and then laughed. "Domori, you really are something else. Always caring about the next challenge above all else. I don't have the supplies I need to build a new Changeling."
"I do," Domori pointed at the Watch Repair Shop. "What do you say? You want to borrow my lab?"
Candice stared at him confused, but then a look of determination formed on her face. "Fine, but this will be the last era I participate in. I'm a runner first and foremost, blading is just a dumb hobby."
"You won't win with that attitude," Domori shook his head. "Plus you don't have to exclude one from the other. Blading can make your running stronger just as much as running can make your blading stronger."
Candice looked confused again and then sighed. "You're never going to make sense, but you are genius when it comes to Bey Training."
The two of them entered Domori's Aunt's shop.
"So you want her to look at some of your old designs," Paula Venger figured.
"Old and new," Domori nodded. "Shu gave Sin this same advantage before she built Harmonic Spriggan. I want Candice to become our rival once more, in order to do so she needs to see how far I took the Spring Loaded system."
Candice only scowled as she stared at some of Domori's hidden designs. His Aunt must have organized his paperwork for him, because they were neatly stacked underneath their workbench.
"Also did you get the parts that I asked for?", Domori wondered.
"I managed to get two," Paula answered. She pulled out a small box with two metallic stones within it. "Meteorite is hard to find and I honestly would have preferred to turn these babies into watches."
"I'll pay you back," Domori shrugged.
"Don't worry about it kid," Paula sighed. "Consider us even on both your birthday and Christmas though."
"Wait you can find Meteorite at reasonable prices anywhere?", Candice pointed out.
"It's not about the quantity or the pricing kid," Paula shook her head. "It's about the time spent looking for his specific instructions. There's a stone to metal ratio on those two pieces that I had to keep track of in order to make sure those space rocks were authentic."
"Yet you managed to find two," Domori responded impressed with his aunt's work.
"I've got plenty of friends in the jeweler business," Paula shrugged.
Domori noticed the colors on these ones were completely black instead of the blue hue that his Metoer Draconids had. It was fine though he wasn't expecting her to find the exact same rock. He grabbed one of them and handed it to Candice along with a box of parts.
"You want me to start now?", Candice responded.
"Consider the weight, speed, and strength of your blade," Domori explained. "Don't build the exact same mechanic you did last time."
"So pushy," Candice groaned. "Fine, but we aren't battling until I get my beauty sleep! I better not be up all night building this thing."
"Are you really going to waste parts for this?", Paula asked Domori. "You know how much time and money you spent getting this together."
"It'll be worth it as long as Candice can provide a challenge," Domori grinned. His sharp teeth were starting to return and his eyes were radiating golden.
Paula stared down at her nephew before shaking her head and returning to her own station.
