"Koji! Musuko! I made dinner!" Davis called as he did his best to take care of his boys, but it wasn't exactly a good mood for them without the lady of the house.
"I'm not hungry, Daddy." Koji said as he felt miserable.
"At least take a few bites. When Mommy comes back, she's not going to be happy that you boys didn't eat." Davis said.
"But Mom isn't here." Musuko said as he wasn't happy. "We should be out there and getting her, Uncle Tai, and all of the others back! Why are we just sitting around here?!"
"Musuko, if it were up to me, I go straight after them and search the entire Digital World to bring her back." Davis said. "Unfortunately, I can't. The others all feel the same. We can't just take off without making sure that you kids are taken care of. That's why we're going to leave tomorrow after making sure you kids are in good hands. You two are going to be staying with my parents while Gatomon, Veemon, the others, and myself are leaving tomorrow to find them and get them all back."
"That's right." Kari's Gatomon said as she was being stern about this one. "Kari is coming back."
"But Dad, the parents aren't fighters." Musuko said. "It would only be you, Cassie's parents, and Cody. The other parents don't have the experience the rest of you have."
"Good to know you do listen." Davis joked.
"Dad, let me and my friends go. We can do this." Musuko argued.
"I know, but your mother would never forgive me if I dragged you into danger." Davis claimed. "Besides, I was outvoted. The parents all feel that you're not heroes of both worlds. You're kids and you should be acting as kids. Let us handle this." Davis believed and trusted his sons, but the other parents were still against the idea of letting their kids go into a fight. However, Musuko and Koji looked at each other as they both have other ideas.

The Takashis
Since both of their parents were taken, Natalie and Toby are staying with Mina and their cousins, as are Biyomon and Gabumon. Since T.K. was also taken, this family really needs to come together.
"I know it's going to be crowded for a while, but it will all get better when T.K., Matt, and Sora are back. In the meantime, I spoke to all the grandparents and they offered to help in anyway. Mr. and Mrs. Takenouchi will even take in Natalie and Toby."
"Thanks, Aunt Mina." Natalie said, but this was still a hard time for all of them. They're only going to feel better when their parents come back.
"Natalie..." Benson said as he had her sea her little brother sitting on the couch and looked so sad. As the older sister, she has to try and help her little brother.
"Hey, Toby. How about we stream your favorite show? Maybe Aunt Mina can make your favorite desert." Natalie said as she tried to put on a brave face.
"I want Mommy and Daddy." Toby cried. They all hated seeing him like this. They all wanted that. Something has to be done. Seeing this, something had to be done. Natalie and Benson looked at each other as they could read each other's mind. They knew what they had to do.

Mason
"You poor boys. No worries. I gave your father a call and he'll be here for you as soon as he can." Mrs. Takenouchi said as she was taking care of Mason, Malcolm, and even Tyson.
"Thanks a lot, Grandma. Also, thanks for letting Tyson and Agumon stay." Malcolm said.
"Of course. I can't imagine what that poor boy is going through. Besides, he is your brother." Mrs. Takenouchi said. This had to be harder on Tyson than any of the others. His father was all he had.
"Tyson, it will be okay." Agumon assured to try and act like a father.
"Yeah. Your dad will be back soon." Mason assured.
"First, I lose my mom. Now, I lost my dad." Tyson cried. "It's not fair." He cried and it was so hard to see him like this. Malcolm knows how he feels. He feels like he just found his parents only to lose them. He walked right over to Tyson and had to try and be a brother to him.
"It will be okay, Tyson." Malcolm claimed. "We'll take care of you until your dad does come back." Tyson couldn't stop crying and cried into Malcom's chest for comfort. Malcolm did his best to comfort him. Mason didn't like seeing this either, and he certainly wants his mother back. All five of these children seem to be thinking the same thing. All over the city, the kids of the adults that were taken were all scared their mothers or fathers are gone and might not come back. While they're all in the comfort of home, those eight are being held prisoner by four digimon that hate them. There's no telling what's happening to their parents. Something needs to be done.

The Motomiya
"Musuko, are we really doing this?" Koji questioned. The two of them were in Musuko's room and discussing what they're going to do about this situation.
"We have to if we're going to save Mom and Uncle Tai." Musuko said. Koji was uneasy about this since he was still recently joining this, but it must be done.Yet again, these kids have to be brave and step up like the adults would.

The Next Day
"Another day, another chance to brighten the young students minds." Mr. Yakedo said as he was getting his classroom ready for another day of class.
"Mr. Yakedo." He was surprised as he looked up and saw his four students already at the door.
"Musuko? Natalie? Benson? Mason? What are you all doing here so early?" Mr. Yakedo questioned. "Class isn't suppose to start for another hour."
"We know. We just wanted to give this to you." Natalie said as she held out a paper.
"What's this?" Yakedo asked as he took it.
"We were planning to just leave this in your classroom, but you can have it now." Benson said. "We have to go now." That was all they said as they just simply walked away.
"Was that really a good idea?" Mason questioned.
"We'll, we're had to. He might be a tough teacher, but he's a good guy." Musuko said. Mr. Yakedo thought this was rather weird, but the answer is in the paper.
"What is this? An excuse to cut class?" Yakedo questioned as he took a look at the paper. As he read it, he was quite shocked at what he read.
Dear Mr. Yakedo,
We wrote this because we think you're a great teacher. Even though you can be tough, you believed we were capable of more than we thought. That's why we wanted to leave this letter to say goodbye. Some of our parents are in danger by some evil digimon. We have to go help them. That means we won't be in class for a long time.
"What is this?" Yakedo questioned as he was most shocked by this. The kids did the right thing for that, but he can't just let them go. Koji and their digimon were waited just outside the school until they all came out.
"Is it all good?" Koji asked.
"It is. Now let's get going." Musuko said.
"Stop!" Yakedo called as he sprinted after them. "What is the meaning of this?! What do you mean you might not be coming back?!"
"It's just what we said. Our parents are in trouble with some evil digimon and we have to go help them." Musuko explained.
"You have to do no such thing! That's a job for the police!" Yakedo said until he realized something. "Wait... The reports of the digimon fighting... Were they yours?"
"Yeah. That was us trying to stop evil digimon and now we have to do it again." Natalie said.
"We were selected to be the next guardians of both worlds." Benson said. "Our other parents don't know yet, but please give us a few hours before you say anything."
"And you've got four less children to bother you." Mason joked.
"Is this suppose to be funny?!" Yakedo shouted as he sounded greatly concerned. "You children are my responsibility! This is incredibly dangerous! This is something for the police! For goodness sake, you're only kids! This is too dangerous! When I said there was something special about all of you, I didn't mean this!"
"Mr. Yakedo, this is why we said something." Musuko said. "Our parents had their story, but this is ours." He claimed as he sounded sure and brave.
"Don't worry. We'll be with them the whole time!" Veemon vowed.
"This is just something we have to do." Musuko said. "Goodbye, Mr. Yakedo, and thank you." He said as they all bowed to their favorite teacher in respect before they departed.
"Wait..." Yakedo said, but he knew he couldn't stop them. "How can this be? They're just children."
...
Davis
"Don't worry, Gatomon. We'll find Kari." Veemon assured as the two of them rode in Davis' car as they were heading for CannonBeemon. Gatomon is dead serious about finding Kari.
"I'm on my way, Ken." Davis said. "I made some calls. The boys are taken care of. Musuko even offered to take Koji to school."
"Yeah. Musuko is taking things surprisingly well." Veemon said. "I thought he would have tried something."
"Wait. You're saying the other kids have been behaving as well?" Davis questioned. That and Veemon saying what he just said had Davis realize something. "Son of a... Ken, we just got played by children!" Davis stepped on the gas after realizing this. He and the others have been distracted over their situation that they didn't realize the kids slipping under their nose. Davis hurried as fast as he could. By the time he got there, it was too late. CannonBeemon was leaving through a digital gate and he knew those five kids were onboard. "Musuko! Koji!" Davis couldn't do anything to stop this. He just hopes he hasn't lost all of them.
"I know this wasn't easy, but it was the right one." Oikawa said as all of them rode in CannonBeemon like their own ship. They are now setting out on a new adventure and a rescue mission.
'Hang on, Mom. Hang on, everyone. We'll find you and save you all.' Musuko thought as they won't stop to get their parents back.
...
As their new adventure begins, the children find a maiden of the sea carrying a valuable trouble. It would seem their parents aren't the only ones that need their help.
