In an attempt to prevent the children from getting the next stone, Luradamon held them off while MetalSeadramon dived under the water. Though the children fought hard, Luradamon fought dishonorably and proved to be a powerful and dangerous digimon. Koji made a brave act, and the children were able to gain some control over the fight because of that. However, they failed to retrieve the stone. Luradamon is a dangerous digimon, and desires power for herself.

Enlightened Wisdom
"I can't believe this. There were four stones and we haven't been able to get one." Gatomon said.
"These Dark Masters are powerful." Palmon said. "I'm starting to wonder how they were defeated before."
"But we're getting stronger ourselves. MetalSeadramon appeared to be struggling last time." Patamon assured. "We would have taken him if Luradamon hadn't gotten in the way."
"If the rest of you could digivolve to mega, we could take them." Veemon claimed.
"Rude, but you have a point. We would be a lot stronger if the rest of us could digivolve to mega. We would have a better chance." Biyomon agreed. All of them have really been feeling the battles lately. The Dark Masters have managed to get four of the stone crests and they haven't managed to get one. They need something that could give them an edge in a fight.
"Veemon has a point." Natalie said. "How can we get the rest of our digimon to digivolve to mega? If we can do that, we have a better chance."
"Do the rest of us need arrows shot at us like Musuko and Benson did?" Mason said.
"I don't think it works like that." Benson said. "The best we can do is keep going. There are still four stones out there. Getting just one could throw a wrench in their plans."
"Well, we might get the chance. It looks like the exit is coming up." Musuko said. The end of this hyperspace travel was coming up with them finding themselves in a desert.
"Are we at the beach again?" Koji asked.
"All sand and no water means that it's a desert." Benson said. "I suppose you could call it a sea of sand."
"Let's land and check it out." Musuko said. CannonBeemon landed down and allowed them to get off, but there was no sign of anything. It was nothing except scorching hot sand for miles.
"Oh man. I need some water." Mason complained.
"We've only been out here for a minute." Natalie complained.
"I don't see anything anywhere. Where could the next stone be?" Biyomon questioned.
"It's got to be somewhere in this giant sandbox." Gatomon claimed. "Still, we should stay close to CannonBeemon and..." she didn't finish her little sentence as she could sense something was off. She looked to the distance and could feel the wind picking up with the sand being disturbed.
"What's wrong?" Koji asked.
"I think something bad is coming our way." Gatomon said. She ended up being right as a tornado was coming their way with the sand getting mixed in. "Sandstorm!"
"No! It's a tornado!" Veemon said.
"I say it's both!" Palmon said.
"Everyone, get back inside CannonBeemon!" Gatomon called. They all hurried to take shelter from the storm, but that storm was moving in fast. The others made it to CannonBeemon and took cover inside just in time, but Natalie lagged behind. She didn't make it right when the storm hit and was having trouble getting through.
"Natalie!" Biyomon shouted in fear with the others seeing she needs help.
"Just a little further, Natalie!" Musuko called as he held out his hand. "Just follow my voice!"
"You make it hard to ignore!" Natalie called. She tried to make it through the storm, but it was too strong and she was lifted off the ground.
"Natalie!" Musuko called as Natalie is being carried away by the storm and there's no telling where she could end up.

Sora
A mother knows when her child is in need of her help. The problem is that there are times they can't. Sora is an example of that being a prisoner. As she was trying to tidy things up, she suddenly felt an overwhelming feeling that something was wrong.
"Sora? Is everything okay?" Matt asked.
"No. I just got this feeling that something happened to our daughter." Sora said. Seeing his wife in distress, Matt took Sora into his arms and was now worried himself, but he has to be strong for Sora. He just hopes that Sora is wrong.
...
Later
When the storm cleared away, everyone put off the search for the next stone and went looking for Natalie instead.
"Natalie! Natalie!" Musuko called.
"Where are you, cousin!" Benson called.
"Natalie Ishida, come to my voice!" Mason shouted at the top of his lungs.
"Do you think she's okay?" Koji questioned.
"She has to be! She just has to be!" Biyomon said as she was really scared.
"She is. Natalie is one of the toughest girls there is. She won't let a little sand get the better of her." Musuko said. He just knows that. She just has to be.
...
Natalie
Natalie was blown around pretty good with her nearly buried in the sand. She would have been in real trouble if someone hadn't come by and spotted her.
"Oh my..." The one who found her was a digimon named Wisemon, and he dug her out. "Poor thing."
...
"Here, my dear. Drink this." Wisemon took Natalie away and treated her. Natalie felt water flow down her throat and it helped her recover. She woke up and was met with Wisemon. "Good. You're awake."
"Where am I?" Natalie questioned.
"My home." Wisemon said. "I found you out in the desert. When I saw that you were in need of help, I brought you here to make sure you were treated."
"You did? Thank you." Natalie said.
"Of course. Here, keep drinking some water. It will help." Wisemon said as he kept giving her water. "The desert is no place to travel without water."
"You don't have to tell me." Natalie said.
"What were you doing out there to begin with?" Wisemon questioned.
"I got swept away by a storm and got separated from my friends." Natalie said. "I don't even know where I am, so how can I find them?"
"It might be better if you wait here." Wisemon said. "Im sure your friends will find you in time."
"That's nice, but I really can't..." Just then, Wisemon opened up his home and showed that Natalie was in civilization out in the desert. "Wow." She claimed as she followed him. "This place looks amazing. Where exactly am I?"
"As I said, my home. This place is called Monoba." Wisemon claimed.
"Never heard of it." Natalie said as Wisemon showed her around.
"That's fine. We live out in the desert, and not a lot of people or digimon would travel out here for a vacation." Wisemon claimed. "This is a serene place. We live out in the sun, the architecture is a work of art, and we live under guidance and wisdom."
"I don't really get any of that." Natalie said as she didn't understand what he was saying.
"What I'm trying to say is that this is a beautiful, tranquil, and serene place." Wisemon said. "Just up ahead is Monoba's greatest site: our monolith."
"Monolith?" Natalie questioned. Wisemon showed her as they were faced with a huge slab at the top of a set of stairs. "That's a monolith? What is it exactly?"
"A monolith is a piece of stone that is able to stand upright." Wisemon informed. "In a figurative sense, this monolith represents us all being one and be treated as such. That is why a sacred jewel of love has been placed in it."
"Sacred jewel?" Natalie questioned as she might know what that is. She looked around and spotted a red jewel in the monolith that had the crest of love on it. "The stone crest, and it has mike and my mom's crest of love in it!" She managed to find it, but how is she going to take it now?
...
The Desert
Natalie may have managed to find the stone crest, but it might not matter. Without the others or Biyomon to help her out, nothing might be able to stop the Dark Masters from taking it.
"I prefer a sea of water to a sea of sand, but I suppose beggars can't be choosers." MetalSeadramon claimed as he made his way through the desert. "Once I get my fins on that next stone, a little sun bathing will be worth it." MetalSeadramon is getting closer and closer to Monoba, and there might be no one from taking the stone.
...
Monoba
"I must admit that this place is rather amazing." Natalie said as she loved it here.
"And do you know what the strongest feeling around here is?" Wisemon questioned. Natalie didn't have a clue. "It is what the monolith truly stands for: love."
"Really? Is it because of the jewel in it?" Natalie questioned.
"In a way." Wisemon said. "When you hear "love", it makes you think of two people that have a special connection, but there are different kinds of love. There's the love between a parent and a child. There's love between friends. There's even love for life and love that spreads to those you don't even know."
"Say what? How can there be love between those who don't even know each other?" Natalie questioned.
"By simply having a love for life, and I for one have it." Wisemon claimed.
"You're not going to say you love me, are you? Yuck." Natalie said.
"My love is all life." Wisemon claimed. "Life has so much to offer and so much to learn. There's so much to explore, and I can meet so many others to learn more. That is why I love it so. The monolith represents that we all united as one, and that is what we call love."
"Really?" Natalie questioned as she thought it over. "I wonder if that's how Mom feels, and that's why she's been given the crest of love?" She looked around and saw that the whole place was filled with life. All the digimon seemed so nice to each other, so caring, and helping. 'I wonder if I could do the same thing. Since I hold the crest of love, am I capable of such things? Is that the secret to having Biyomon digivolve to mega?' Since Natalie has inherited her mother's crest, she has to be able to bring out the crest's full power.
"Anyway, your friends are taking a long time. Perhaps we should try to make contact with them." Wisemon said.
"About that... Wisemon, there's something you need to know about." Natalie claimed. She was about to tell him about the Dark Masters, and how she has to take the stone. However, she didn't have to as a large explosion went off. That isn't good.
...
The Digidestined
"Still no sign of Natalie." Benson said as they searched around for Natalie in CannonBeemon. "Where could that storm have taken her?"
"Hold on! What's that over there?!" Mason said. They all looked outside and saw the smoke trail of an explosion.
"I think we better check this out. Hopefully, Natalie is there and unharmed." Musuko said as they changed course and headed to the smoke.
...
Monoba
Natalie and Wisemon hurried as fast as they could to we're that explosion came from. When they got to where it came from, they saw MetalSeadramon and his ugly head.
"I've made it! Now that stone will be mine!" MetalSeadramon claimed.
"Oh no! MetalSeadramon!" Natalie called. Now she's the only one standing between him and that stone, but if the others don't make it in time, how can she stop him alone?
...
In the next battle, Natalie takes a stand against MetalSeadramon. Natalie has to tap into the true power of her love for others or she risks being destroyed and losing another stone.
