Disclaimer: I do not own anything, expect the OCs. This is just a story for fun.

(Quick Author's Note: Quick apology. I've been using the wrong name for the Clan. It's supposed to be Yiga not Ying. I spaced out and I now realize my mistake and fixed it. I'm sorry. Enjoy the chapter.)

The sun had set in Hyrule and at Gerudo City a little celebration was taking place. The Gerudo were throwing a feast in honor of the heroes saving their city and getting their freedom back. The Capitol was packed with people laughing and dancing. Link however was alone resting on a balcony looking up at the night sky. Many things were on the heroes mind. First there was Onox, Link had read many stories about his ancestors past and in nearly all of them, whenever a villain was supposedly defeated and killed, they would suddenly spring back to life and take on a more monstrous form to continue fighting, until they were defeated again. Onox was presumed to be dead at the bottom of a cave under the coliseum, but Link needed to see the body to be absolutely sure the evil knight was dead. Then there was Ghirahim the mystery villain that had appeared and then vanished. Link suspected that the strange being might be the mastermind behind all the stuff going on in Hyrule, including the threat of Ganondorf's return along with a few other villains like Koume and Kotake returning from the dead. And lastly there was the situation with Zant. Link had no idea how powerful the villain was nor how big was the army at his command.

"Care for some company?" Asked Midna as she floated out onto the balcony to join him.

The imp had floated out of Link's shadower earlier to introduce herself and join in on the feast. Link shrugged his shoulders and Midna joined him.

"You seem worried." Said Midna.

"I am. All these crazy things are happening in Hyrule and I can't help feeling that Ghirahim is behind it all somehow. All these things are happening and I'm worried about future." Said Link.

"I'm a little worried about the future to. When I first arrived in Hyrule I was a bit frightened. This world is different from my home and I thought because of my form and my ancestor's past I would receive no help from anyone here and I would be killed. My original plan was to locate the other pieces of a powerful ancient artifact called the Fused Shadow and use it to beat Zant. The helmet I wear is one piece and there are three others. I was seeking information, when I arrived at that inn you and your friends were at and after I introduced myself you all agreed to help me. Taking you to my realm to fight Zant became my new plan and...at first, when I saw you I honestly didn't have much hope in you." Said Midna.

"Hey!" Said Link with a slightly annoyed look.

"Then I saw you battle and it gave me hope and courage to keep pressing on with this adventure. We just might pull through this and save both our worlds." Said Midna with a little smile.

"Glad I improved your confidence." Said Link with a little smile.

"Hey guys what's up?" Said Finn as he came and joined the two.

Link told Finn about his concerns about the adventure and the happenings in Hyrule. Finn just nodded his head in understanding.

"I totally get what your going through Link. Back on my home world Earth, there's this really mysterious masked villain called Crimson who causes all kinds of trouble and no matter how many of his plans me and my friends foil, I feel like his up to something much bigger that's going to affect everything. It worries me." Said Finn.

"How do you deal with it?" Asked Link.

"Well I try not to overthink it to much and I focus on the now and what I can do. I also remind myself that I'm not alone in this and that I have a bunch of people I care about helping me and whatever happens will face it together." Said Finn.

"That's pretty wise." Said Link.

"Thanks I have my moments." Said Finn.

"Come on you two let's head back to the feast and relax and enjoy it." Said Midna.

The three friends headed back to the feast to join in on the festivities.

Miles away at the palace, Zelda was looking through a book that contained information about the Fused Shadow and the whereabouts of the three pieces. One was located in a temple in a jungle, the Goron Mines, and a temple in a large nearby lakebed. Zelda studied the locations and looked at a map of Hyrule. The Lakebed Temple was the closest to the palace and with Lapis's abilities it should be easy to retrieve. Zelda had already warned and prepared her knights for upcoming threats and the whereabouts of the Hunters were unknown. The princess wanted to help Link and the others and the best she could come up with was retrieving one of the Fused Shadow pieces for Midna to help use against Zant. Zelda also considered going after the other two pieces as well, but decided to wait and see how the adventure for the first one would go before moving on to the other pieces. She decided to go to bed and tell the others about what she had planned in the morning. Zelda blew out her candle and retired for the night.

At the Yiga Clan's hideout Master Kohga sat in his home at the head of a table looking at a battered, Koume, Kotake, and Tyrian. The three had flown into the hideout with a bunch of ragged Yiga Clan members behind them. The villains told Kohga what happened and told him they needed to come up with a new plan to take Gerudo City back. Kohga scratched his chin in thought and was suddenly struck by an idea.

"We use fear to force them to submit. I have just the thing to strike fear into the Gerudo." Said Kohga.

Kohga led the others to a medium size building with a large door and heavy lock. He undid the lock and led the others inside. The villains entered a large room with a large black sword embedded in the floor with a myriad of ropes adorned with paper talismans. The air was filled with cold and dread.

"May I present the Death Sword. An evil sword from long ago that holds an evil powerful spirit. It is locked away right now, but with your magic I'm sure we can use it to strike fear into the hearts of the Gerudo." Said Kohga.

Koume and Kotake exchanged a look with each other an evil grin spreading across both their faces. The sisters faced the sword and began to chant a spell together and unleashed a bright red beam of light at the sword. The talismans and ropes burned off. The sides of the sword began to glow with red symbols and it yanked itself out of the ground. The villains watched as a tall skeletal figure became visible. The newcomer wore a black robe and had the skull of some kind of ram with a mouth full of pointed fangs curved upside down horns and red eyes. It was Death Sword! The villains watched as the skeletal figure's body became invisible showing nothing but his sword and then he became visible again.

"Ooo I like him already!" Giggled Tyrian with glee.

"Let's see how the Gerudo handle this!" Laughed Kotake.

"It'll strike a blow of terror!" Laughed Koume.

In the Twilight Realm Zant was walking around the throne room as Veran delivered him the news about Gerudo City. Zant was furious about the outcome and he decided it was time to take matters into his own hand and deal with Midna himself.

"It's time I do away with Midna. Her continued existence is a thorn in my side and she posses a threat to my rule. I made a mistake with her before, but I plan to correct that." Said Zant.

"How do you plan to do that?" Asked Veran.

"Oh with this little curse that will cause a great deal of agony." Said Zant as a marquise shaped Shadow Crystal appeared in his hand.

Veran smiled wickedly at Zant's evil plan. The two teleported to the temple and made their way to the portal to go to Hyrule and cause some havoc.

To be continued.
