The next few days were hard for Wizard City. Even though the wizards had magic at their disposal it still took time and hard work to fix the city. There was also a great deal of dead to deal with along with a bunch of grief. Heckapoo and the Council were greatly saddened by Dimensional Wizard's death. Peace Master was sent to a hospital, due to his injuries and could no longer serve on the Council. The fictional characters were gathered up and returned to their original forms of existence, with the exception of Bendy and his friends, who were given a home in the Ice Kingdom and the super villain team L.O.V.E, who had escaped the city during the crisis. The city was mostly restored, but the people were shaken by the recent disaster.

The wizard Ron James was making his way to the rebuilt Magical Media and Books store to visit A Real Magic Skeleton and Brandon and to do a little research. Ron James was a skilled potion maker, but he wasn't very good at casting spells and other forms of magic. Like many magic users before him, Ron James desired fame, power, and recognition. Ron James had tried to prove his skills over the years, but each of his attempts had failed and people doubted and made fun of him. The wizard was determined to be the best even if that meant messing with some dangerous reality bending magic to do so. Ron James planned to unearth a magical wishing skull called Thromnambular. An object so powerful it could grant any wish and Ron James was close to finding it. He reached the store and went inside to do some research.

(Author's Note: Thromnambular is from Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy.)

In a cave a few miles outside Wizard City, Laser Wizard had gathered Gideon, Streak, Ringo in his normal form, Koba, and Angelica for a little meeting and to give them a little reward. Laser Wizard first conjured up a golden scroll and asked the young wizards to sign it.

"What is this?" Asked Gideon.

"This is a magic contract, it's a bit of insurance to make you stay loyal to me and to prevent any acts of treachery. You try to betray me in any way, you will suffer and die." Said Laser Wizard.

"What happens if we don't want to sign the contract?" Asked Angelica.

"You'll be kicked out of the group and have your memories of it erased, including all the memories of the magic you learned." Said Laser Wizard.

The young magic users exchanged looks before one by one they each signed the contract. Laser Wizard pocketed the contract and pulled out a gold colored lamp.

"Now you all get a special treat." Said Laser Wizard as he rubbed the lamp.

Smoke bellowed from the lamp and the Genie rose up from the smoke stretching his arms. Gideon and his companions stared at the massive blue being in shock. Genie turned to face the group as he turned the end of his tail into a microphone and began speaking into.

"Good day to you one and all, my future masters. I am the genie of the lamp, though you call me Genie. I do go by G Man, Blue G, Blue Man, Big Blue, Smokey, Blue Boy, and a few other names, but Genie will do. You are all a lucky lot, because you all get a grand total of three wishes each." Said Genie.

"Wishes?" Asked Gideon in awe.

"Yes wishes, but first allow me to explain the rules of my wish granting abilities, as well as a little history of wish granting." Said Genie before he snapped his fingers.

There was a flash of light and Gideon, Ringo, Koba, Streak, and Angelica found themselves sitting at school desk looking at a giant screen appeared in front of them. Genie appeared dressed up as a school teacher next to a projector and flipped in on. An image of space began to play on the screen then a shooting star appeared, and the Genie appeared on the screen and began to speak.

"In the beginning, when the earliest of people saw a shooting star, they believed it to be a sign of the heavens, so they made wishes on the shooting stars in hopes that their prayers would be heard. Their wishes were heard by powerful beings in the stars and a few of them decided to use their powers to grant the people's wishes. Over time many different forms of making wishes were formed. There were wishing wells, four leaf clover wishes, wishbone wishes, eyelash wishes, birthday wishes, and the elusive 11:11 wishes. Also as time went by magical creatures began to appear with the ability to grant wishes. There's genies of course, fairs, pixies, leprechauns, a few dragons, a few mermaids, some magic talking trees, and a few other magical creatures. There have also been a few pretend wish granting creatures throughout history. One example was a two headed giant worm that claimed it could grant wishes, but it just tricked people so it could eat them. You should also be careful with what you wish for and make sure to be specific. There are creatures who grant wishes, but use them in some way to hurt the people, who made the wish. So wish responsibly and carefully."

The screen went blank and vanished, along with the school desk. Genie hovered before Gideon and the others.

"Now allow to explain the rules of the wishes I can grant you. I can't kill anyone for you. I can't bring back the dead, trust me you don't want to see that. And lastly I cannot make people fall in love with you. That's messing with free will and that's something I can't do." Said Genie.

Gideon frowned at this a little disappointed, since he couldn't wish for Mabel to love him. Genie asked if anyone had any wishes, but no one had any, so Genie returned to the lamp and Laser Wizard dismissed the group. Gideon returned to the Ice Kingdom wishing their was a way to make Mabel love him.

At Magical Media and Books, Ron James was sitting at a table with Brandon and A Real Magic Skeleton, talking and going through the books. Ron James believed that Thromnambular was buried somewhere in or near the Boneyard Kingdom, since bone related objects had a tendency to make their way there.

The Boneyard Kingdom and it's people had an interesting history. The ancestors of the skeletons were raised up by a witch named Valeena, who also went by the name Skull Sorceress, in an attempt to create an army and conquer Ooo, but she was defeated by Billy, Mandarin, and a few other heroes and sealed away. Without Valeena's evil influence and control the skeletons became a peaceful race and went about creating their own kingdom and monarchy and lived peacefully with the other kingdoms and people of Ooo.

(Author's Note: Valeena is from Super Robot Monkey Team Hyper Force Go.)

Ron James had stumbled across the legend of Thromnambular by simple chance and he became quit interested in it. The legend said that Thromnambular was a wizard from a long time ago, who desired the power of wish granting for himself. Thromnambular went about gathering several items of magical properties to do this. He stole the water of a wishing well, the wishbones of several dead chickens and turkeys, a bunch of four leaf, and he managed to capture a shooting star. Thromnambular had the star, the wishbones, and clovers turned to dust before mixing them into a cup of water from a wishing well and then he drank it all. Thromnambular's eyes turned into red gems and he was filled with incredible power. All he had to do was say the words I wish and anything he ever wanted would appear. Thromnambular became drunk and arrogant with his new power and he started abusing, which lead to the deaths of many people and the fall of many civilizations. This angered the gods and Death was sent out to deliver a great punishment to Thromnambular. Death used his powers to remove Thromnambular's skin and muscles, reducing him to a skeleton. Death then cut off Thromnambular's head and trapped his soul in it. Thromnambular still had the ability to speak and a bit of power to do small things like levitate and other things, however he was cursed with his own wish granting powers. A large number magical appeared on his forehead and he was tasked by Death to be a wish granting object. Every time Thromnambular granted a wish the number on his head would go down and once Thromnambular reached zero, his soul would be freed. Over the years Thromnambular granted people's wishes, but he would always find a way to cause great misfortune to other, with their wishes. Years went by and Thromnambular managed to work his way down to nine wishes, but then one of his former victims caught up to him, locked him in a chest, and buried him. The location of Thromnambular was a mystery, but Ron James thought he had it figured out.

"It's at Skull Rock a few hundred yards outside the Boneyard Kingdom." Said Ron James putting his finger on a map.

"Oh man this is like a treasure hunt! We're real adventurers!" Said Brandon with excitement.

"Yeah are you sure it's a good idea to dig this thing up, I mean all those stories said Thromnambular is dangerous and the people, who make wishes on him suffer." Said A Real Magic Skeleton looking concerned.

"Oh just relax. Everything will be fine. I get a wish and you and Brandon can get a wish." Said Ron James.

"Couldn't ask a magic tree or something for a wish or use one of those wish cannons I hear are supposed to be popular." Said A Real Magic Skeleton.

"Magic trees are deep in the woods and we don't know where to find any magical creatures. Also it takes a lot of concentration to use a wish cannon, otherwise you'll just end up with a giant sandwich. This idea is totally going to work." Said Ron James.

"Fine." Said A Real Magic Skeleton.

The three set out on their adventure and soon reached Skull Rock, which was a large white rock that looked like a skull. Ron James thought it would be best to dig at the base of the rock. The group began to dig and after several minutes they came across a chest with old rusted chains and locks on it. Ron James pulled out a tiny vial of magic metal eating liquid and got rid of the locks and chains. He exchanged looks of excitement with his friends before he opened the chest. Inside the chest was a pale grey skull, with red gems for eyes, and a red number nine on it's forehead. Little did the trio know, they had unleashed something incredibly dangerous onto to Ooo.

To be continued.
