Jayne nodded as she reached over to give Holly a hug. "I love you mum."
Holly looked over Jayne's shoulder at Robert, tears in her eyes hearing those words for the first time from her daughter. "I love you too darling." Holly got out, clearly overcome with emotion.
Jayne moved back to look at Holly. "I'm sorry I just..." Jayne thought maybe she has overstepped. She knew this was new to them all.
Holly quickly shook her head. "You have nothing to be sorry for. You know my mood went from high to low because I was so worried about you and wanting to make sure you were okay. You brought it back up again." Holly gave her another hug, holding her tightly.
Robert couldn't help but grin as he watched them
Jayne hugged her tightly, not wanting to let her go. "I was talking to Barry, letting him know how I was doing and he urged me to get to know you as my mum and dad. I told him I already felt that connection to you both, I've never felt more loved or protected in my whole life. I have always felt like it was me against the world and now I'm not alone. I just feel like you deserve that name. I don't mean to ramble on." Jayne told her as she let Holly go.
Holly took her hands in hers. "Please keep going, you know the moment I saw you I felt that connection. I knew you were mine and Robert's."
Jayne smiled as she looked at Robert. "Don't think I forgot about you dad."
Robert put his arms around both ladies. "I was starting to wonder." He teased. "We can't make up for what we lost but we can make the most of what we have now." He told them.
"I intend to." Holly smiled brightly. "Tiffany is going to help me decorate the townhouse, it's going to be smashing. Would you like to help too?" Holly asked Jayne. "I would like it to also feel like home to you, even when this is over and you find a place of your own you will always be welcomed"
"I would like that. I've always been a great shopper." Jayne smiled, though she was given a lot in her life this is what she always yearned for.
Robert couldn't help but laugh, oh did Holly love to shop. "A trait you got from your mum. You know I hate to break this up but if we are going to move in the morning we better get some rest." Robert was trying to make sure their move went smoothly.
"Your father has a point." Holly got up to go get some of the extra blankets and pillows they had. "Here you are, if you need anything and I mean anything knock on our door please."
Jayne took the bedding and sat it on the couch as she stood up, she gave Holly a hug. "I will, I love you and thank you for taking such good care of me mum, you too dad."
Robert stood up and hugged them both. "You've got us forever. I love you sweetheart."
They all said their goodnights and went to bed.
The morning came too soon but at the same time not soon enough. They had packed up essentials and were going to let movers get the rest. Robert, Holly and Jayne went to the townhouse first.
Holly's face lit up as she saw it, she was still so happy it was their once again. "I can not wait to show you this place, it's fantastic!" Holly hurried to the door, unlocking it.
Robert had the biggest grin watching her as he grabbed their bags. "You go ahead with your mum I got this."
Jayne went inside to where Holly was. "Oh it's beautiful." Jayne looked around the house, just taking it all in.
"Not quite how it was when we lived here before you were born but still so beautiful." Holly grabbed Jayne's hand as she pulled her up the stairs.
Jayne couldn't help but laugh as she went with her mother. "I bet you both have a lot of great memories."
"The best." Holly smiled as she took Jayne to her old room. "Would you like to stay in here? I mean clearly you need a bed and some furniture but when we first moved in this was my room then it became the guest room. Had we had you and Ethan here and gotten the chance to raise you this would have been your room." Holly felt a pain in her heart but was happy for the here and now.
Jayne looked at the empty room, it was cute and even had it's own bathroom. "I would love to. It's really nice. If we don't get a bed for me tonight then I can make a pallet."
Holly shook her head, she was determined to get all five beds they needed today. "Don't worry about that. You won't be sleeping on the floor. I already ordered some beds, I made some calls and if everything works out they will be here today."
Jayne was impressed. "Dad was right you do know how to shop."
Holly smiled brightly at her. "I do, especially for hats. When things settle down I would love for us to have a shopping trip."
"Count on it." Jayne gave Holly a hug.
Robert tapped on the door, he sat Jayne's bags down. "Ours are in our room sweetie pie. I think Ethan, Tiffany and the others are here too."
Holly took Jayne's hand. "Oh wait until you meet your niece and Tiffany, she's been one of my best friends for ages and of course Annie who is just lovely." Holly took Jayne's hand and walked downstairs with her, ready to get her acquainted with more of their family.
