"It's Chaos Greymon," Shinsuke says quietly, staring down at his digivice in horror. "He only has one known attack, but it can wipe out full parts of a world with its intensity."
Wade feels sweaty, a little weak at this thought. "Shit," he mumbles. "What do we do?" A couple of them are strong, yes, but most of them are still new to this world, with Digimon barely past champion level, and there's just no chance against something that looks like Chaos Greymon.
"Back away slowly," Shinsuke suggests, already following his own suggestion. Wade hates it, but he can't think of anything better so they slowly push the others to follow them back towards the digiport. If there's any hope at all for them to get out, to get free, they have to at least try, but Chaos Greymon is staring at them with a growing look of disgust and frustration on his face and before they can get too far, he blasts towards them, Ciampa and Owens stumbling as he slams down between them, only just avoiding smashing any of them under his feet as they scramble away.
"Digidestined," he snarls, fists flexing at his sides as he looks around at the scattered people and digimon at his feet. "You are not welcome here."
Shinsuke forces himself upright and stares at Chaos Greymon. "Then what are you going to do about it?" He holds his digivice out and motions to Coronamon, who begins to digivolve. "Wade, get the others out. I'll hold him off for as long as I can."
Wade exhales. "I don't know if I can get them away fast enough."
Shinsuke turns to look at him, a warning glint in his eyes. "Just do it, Wade. We do not have a lot of options here."
Wade nods, scrambling up and around, grabbing everyone he can and tagging them up to their feet. "Move, move," he hisses, grabbing Lunamon and lunging for the digiport. "Let's go, let's go."
"Sacrifice will get you nowhere," Chaos Greymon snarls, hovering higher and holding his hands out, energy already beginning to flicker between his palms. "I will rid my world of you!"
Shinsuke gasps as the wind shifts from the pure power, beginning to whip against his hair viciously. "No," he mumbles, eyes widening as the light grows stronger and stronger, beginning to blind him the longer he stands there. "Coronamon!" he barks out, watching as his digimon evolves, lunges after Chaos Greymon.
Chaos Greymon barks out a laugh and sends his hand out, slapping Apollomon away as if he's nothing. He skitters away and slams into the ground, leaving a nauseatingly wide divot in the dirt as he slides away because of the force of the impact.
All Damian can do then is stare up and hope for a miracle or something to happen, because otherwise, he's all but certain they're not getting out of this alive.
