Chapter 10: UA High School
Ookami Resident- Morning
A month has passed since the U.A. entrance exams, and the Miraculous Hero Force has grown stronger under the Pro Heroes' guidance. Today was finally the day Jake had been looking forward to—his first day at U.A. Jake was in his room getting ready for school.
He had on his new uniform: a long-sleeve gray jacket with blue-green stripes. His jacket was open, and under it, he wore a white long-sleeve hoodie, just like his old middle school uniform. His pants were dark blue-green, and his wristband was on his left wrist.
"Not bad," Jake said, looking at himself in the mirror. "What do you think, Kwasi?" he asked as Kwasi flew out of his pocket.
"I think you look good," Kwasi said.
"Thanks, buddy," Jake replied. Just then, Fang walked into his room wearing the same uniform, with a hole tailored for his tail.
"Looking sharp, Fang," Jake said with a grin. "Ready for our first day at U.A.?"
"Yeah, it's kind of surreal," Fang replied, adjusting his jacket. "I mean, we're actually going to U.A. High School. Can you believe it?"
Jake nodded. "Yeah, it's a big deal. But we've worked hard to get here. We deserve this."
Fang gave a small smile. "You're right. Plus, we have our new team. Miraculous Hero Force sounds pretty cool, doesn't it?"
"Definitely," Jake said, feeling a surge of excitement. "We've got a lot to prove, but I think we can do it."
Just then, their uncle Naja called from downstairs. "Come on, boys! You don't want to be late for your first day!"
"Let's go," Jake said, grabbing his bag. Fang nodded, and the two brothers headed downstairs.
As they reached the front door, Naja gave them a proud look. "You two are going to do great. Just remember to stay focused and be yourselves."
"Thanks, Uncle Naja," Jake said, giving him a quick hug. "We'll make you proud."
"I know you will," Naja replied with a smile. "Now get going!"
Jake and Fang walked out the door, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves. Today marked the beginning of their journey at U.A. High School, and they were ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
U.A. High School Front Entrance- Morning
The four heroes, dressed in their new school uniforms, stood outside the building of their new school.
Out of all of them, Midoriya was the most excited. He still couldn't believe it. A year ago, this whole situation would have been a dream, but seeing it in reality brought tears to his eyes. He was lucky to pass, considering the rate of acceptance is incredibly low.
Midoriya felt fortunate to have met the old man who gave him a miraculous and Ravage as a companion, allowing him to become Shadow Claw, one of the greatest groups of heroes he's ever seen since All Might. Now, after receiving All Might's quirk, he was determined to become the next symbol of peace.
"Easy there, buddy," Ravage smiled at the green-haired boy. "If you keep standing at the entrance, how can you go beyond and plus ultra?" he said from Midoriya's pocket.
"Or be a hero," Jake added with a smile.
Midoriya wiped the tears from his eyes. "Sorry. It's just... Thank you, guys. If I hadn't met the two of you... I don't think I would be here right now. Being Shadow Claw, passing the exam, and becoming All Might's successor," he said happily.
"I feel the same way, Midoriya," Minato said, rubbing his left arm in embarrassment. "If not for meeting Jake, I never would have gotten this far on my own. So thanks for your help, guys, and for giving me a chance to be a hero."
"You're welcome, bro," Jake nodded.
"There's no reason to thank me. You kids had the potential to do amazing things. All I did was guide you in the right direction," Kwasi said to his friends. "Now it's time to enter your hero academia."
The four of them ran towards the building with smiles on their faces, ready to face whatever U.A. had in store for them.
U.A. High School Classroom 1-A- Morning
Jake, Midoriya, Fang, and Minato walked into the building, heading to their classroom.
Midoriya glanced at the wall as he and the others searched for their classroom. "Class 1A... 1A... C'mon, where is it?" He let out a small gasp when he noticed the sign for the room. "There!" They saw a giant door with a sign that said '1-A.'
"That's a big door," Jake and Fang thought simultaneously.
Midoriya's eyes widened as they looked up at the humongous door. "Man, this thing is huge...! Are there giants here?!" He clenched his backpack, lips wobbly as he put on a determined face. "The most promising students in the country are waiting here."
"So let's do this," Minato said excitedly.
"Hold on, guys. Before we go in, I have something to give you," Jake said, handing Fang and Minato two black boxes.
"Wait, is this...?" Minato said with a smile.
"Are you giving us some miraculous?" Fang asked.
"I'm letting you guys be permanent miraculous holders like me and Izuku so you can be part of our team, the Miraculous Hero Force," Jake said with a smile.
"Okay, thank you so much," Minato said as he opened the box. A bright gold and silver light emerged from it, and when the light faded, a small eagle-like creature was floating in the air.
"Hi, my name is Liiri," she said as Minato put on the pendant around his neck like a necklace.
"Hi, it's nice to meet you, Liiri," Minato said with a smile.
"Okay, my turn," Fang said, opening his box. A bright black and green light emerged from it, and when the light faded, a small lion-like creature was floating in the air.
"Hey, my name is Leo," said the creature, flying around excitedly.
"Okay, okay, Leo. It's nice to meet you," Fang said, taking the headband and wrapping it around his head.
The four heroes stood outside the door to Class 1A, their new kwamis floating nearby. The anticipation and excitement were palpable.
Midoriya took a deep breath, trying to steady himself. "Okay, guys, this is it. Our first day at U.A. Let's make it count."
Jake nodded. "Yeah, we've worked hard to get here. Let's show everyone what the Miraculous Hero Force can do."
Minato, still smiling from meeting Liiri, added, "Right, let's give it our best shot."
Fang, adjusting his new headband, said, "I'm ready. Let's do this."
With that, they pushed open the door to Class 1A and stepped inside. The room was buzzing with activity as their new classmates chatted and found their seats. As the four heroes walked in, the room fell silent, and all eyes turned to them.
"Wow, this place is packed," Fang muttered under his breath.
Midoriya scanned the room, recognizing a few faces from the entrance exams. He noticed a tall boy with glasses and a serious expression, who was now approaching them.
"Hello," the boy said, extending his hand. "I'm Tenya Iida. It's a pleasure to meet you."
Midoriya shook his hand. "Hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya."
The others introduced themselves, and Iida gave them a respectful nod. "I've heard about your exploits during the entrance exams. Impressive work."
"Thanks," Jake said, a bit surprised by the compliment. "We just did what we had to."
As they found their seats, a girl with short brown hair and a cheerful expression approached them. "Hi! I'm Ochaco Uraraka. Nice to meet you!"
"Nice to meet you too," Minato said with a smile.
Just then, a voice from the front of the room caught everyone's attention. "Alright, everyone, take your seats."
The students quickly settled down as their homeroom teacher, Shota Aizawa, also known as Eraser Head, stood at the front of the class. "Welcome to U.A. High School. My name is Shota Aizawa, and I'll be your homeroom teacher. We've got a lot to cover, so let's get started."
As the lesson began, Jake, Midoriya, Fang, and Minato exchanged determined looks. They were ready to face whatever challenges U.A. had in store for them. Together, as the Miraculous Hero Force, they were prepared to become the next generation of heroes.
As the teacher was talking, Jake looked around at the other students. He noticed a few who stood out: a boy with spiky blond hair and a fierce expression, a girl with long black hair tied into a ponytail, and another boy with red and white hair and a serious demeanor.
The first student was Mina Ashido.
She is a medium height girl, possibly set a little more broadly than some female, with healthy thighs. Her skin is a light shade of pink, and she has somewhat square shaped eyes, with a black sclera and light yellow irises, and notably long eyelashes below and around the sides of her eyes. Her face is framed by short hair, fluffy and unruly, which is a pink color, slightly darker than her skin's. She has two thin, pale yellow horns protruding from her head, hooked squarely and leaning diagonally to opposite sides, which seem to be slightly flexible, able to bend a bit to each side.
The second student was Tsuyu Asui.
She is a short girl of a relatively slender build and has notably large hands. Her appearance is rather frog-like; she has a very wide mouth, which dips down a little in the middle just like that of a common frog, and oval-shaped eyes with large, black irises, their lower eyelashes visibly pronounced. Her hair is a dark sea-green color and is very long, reaching all the way to her waist with the ends tied together at the bottom in a large bow of hair. She has two shoulder-length clumps framing her face and shorter bangs between her eyes, some of them partially swept to each side.
The third student was Mashirao Ojiro.
He is a young man of muscular build and has short blond hair, swept to the front of his head. He has thin eyes with no lower eyelashes. Unlike the other students in his class, he wears pale gray sneakers with his school uniform instead of the brown dress shoes worn by everyone else, and the bottom button of his blazer he leaves casually undone. Due to his quirk, he also has a tail.
The fourth student was Denki Kaminari.
He is a relatively short blond hair, parted to the right with a black lightning-shaped streak on the left of his side fringe, which is angled so that it partially obscures his left eye. He has slanted, somewhat triangular yellow eyes, and notably small eyebrows. He's slimmer than most of the other male students in the class, not having much visible muscle mass.
The fifth student was Eijiro Kirishima.
He is a muscular young man of average height and a rather impressive physique for his young age. He has red eyes that are pointed slightly inwards and a small scar just above his right eye. He also has small eyebrows and pointed teeth. His hair is somewhat long, dyed a bright red, and spiked away from his head at all angles with gel, two more pronounced tufts spiked on either side of his forehead like little horns.
The sixth student was Koji Koda.
He is a tall young man of a wide, muscular build with peach-colored skin. His head takes the form of a rock, which is unevenly shaped and pointed at the top of his head, and his jaw is square-shaped.
The seventh student was Rikido Sato.
He is a tall, very muscular young man with a wide build. His brown hair is short, and spiked upwards away from his head. He has rather small, square-shaped eyes with small black pupils and has a pair of bushy eyebrows just above. He has very large and thick lips which are slightly darker in color than the rest of his skin, and a notably large, round nose.
The eighth student was Mezo Shoji.
He is a tall, muscular young man with pale gray hair swept forwards, covering most of his face, and bent downwards at almost a right angle over his eye. He has six arms, all attached to each other by a web of skin, which are very physically strong, and while his Quirk is not in use only the front two arms have hands, the rest ending in thin stumps. He has a slightly elongated face, his eyes set more towards the sides, he has always kept hidden by a blue mask, which covers him from just below his eyes to the base of his neck.
The ninth student was Hanta Sero.
He is a tall, lean young man with chin-length black hair, spiked downwards, with jagged bangs coming about halfway down his forehead. He has almond-shaped eyes, usually stretched quite wide, and rather large, with small pupils, straight teeth that dominate his grinning, he has a rather plain face.
The tenth student was Fumikage Tokoyami.
He is a short young man with the head of a black bird, possibly supposed to resemble that of a crow or a raven. He has a tan, yellowish beak which is slightly hooked down at the end, thin, red eyes with a small black pupil, one on each side of his head, and a red choker, which he rarely removes. Despite the appearance of his head, however, his body is of normal human shape, with rather fair skin.
The eleventh student was Shoto Todoroki.
He is a reasonably tall and rather muscular young man who is well-built for his age. He has quite long hair, though it doesn't pass his neck, and wears bangs, parted twice so as to not obscure his vision. His hair is evenly split between two colors: white on his right-side and crimson red on his left. He also possesses heterochromia iridum, which causes his left eye's iris to appear turquoise, while his right is a somewhat brownish dark gray. His eyes, in shape, are quite thin and reserved, and he also has a large burn scar on the left side of his face, which reaches from his hairline to halfway down his cheek.
The twelfth student was Toru Hagakure.
She is a fairly short girl with a completely invisible body. She was wearing a U.A. female uniform covering her body. Her body appears to be slender yet fairly curvaceous.
The thirteenth student was Minoru Mineta.
He is a very short teenage boy with a large, round head, and rather puffy cheeks. His nose is small, stubby and points slightly upwards, and he has an unusually distinguishable philtrum, oval-shaped eyes with large, black pupils, and notably thin eyebrows. He has four large purple and black balls in something resembling a mohawk where his hair should be.
And the final student was Momo Yaoyorozu.
She is a tall teenage girl with a rather mature physique. She has long black hair that is normally tied into a spiky ponytail with a large strand hanging on the right side of her face. Her eyes are thin and sharp, dark in color and paired with short eyebrows set in a determined expression.
Jake leaned over to Fang and whispered, "There are a lot of interesting people here."
Fang nodded. "Yeah, this is going to be an interesting year."
Midoriya, sitting next to them, was scribbling notes furiously. "I can't believe we're actually here," he whispered back, his eyes shining with excitement.
Minato, who was seated on Jake's other side, was looking around the room thoughtfully. "We have a lot to learn from these guys. Let's make the most of it."
Aizawa's voice interrupted their conversation. "Alright, settle down. Today, we'll be starting with some basic hero training. We'll head to the training grounds in a bit."
The class perked up at the mention of hero training. Jake felt a surge of excitement. This was what they had been waiting for.
As they prepared to leave the classroom, Jake glanced at Midoriya, Fang, and Minato. "Let's show them what the Miraculous Hero Force can do," he said with a grin.
They nodded in agreement, ready to face the challenges ahead together.
Meanwhile, Bakugo was glaring angrily at Jake and Midoriya. Two quirkless weaklings had beaten him at the entrance exam. He clenched his fists in anger, wanting nothing more than to immediately blow those two losers to hell for challenging him.
Aldera Junior High- Afternoon
Flashback
Bakugo dragged Midoriya into an alleyway to confront him on why he was following through on his pointless dream after telling him not to sign up for U.A. It was already bad enough that Deku passed the exam, but he also got 2nd place on it while he was in 5th place! 5TH FUCKING PLACE!
He not only lost to Deku of all people but was outshined by three other extras who dared to challenge his superiority. Bakugo was so pissed off right now he felt like murdering someone, specifically a quirkless nerd that needed to be put in his place.
The blonde then slammed Midoriya against a wall and gripped his shirt as he threatened the boy.
"What did you do to pass the exam?!" Bakugo said demanding answers. "You must've cheated somehow, right?! I'm supposed to be the first and only student from this awful school to get into U.A.! But you just had to go and mess everything up! I warned you not to apply!"
"Kaachan..." Midoriya said grabbing Bakugo's wrist tightly and twisting it to let go of the bully grip on his shirt.
Bakugo slightly screams in pain from his grip. "What the hell?! How is he this strong?!" He thought before looking back at Midoriya which made him slightly flinch.
Midoriya, his gaze unwavering, finally stood up to Bakugo. "Listen, Bakugo," he began, his voice firm. "I didn't cheat. I studied hard, trained harder, and earned my place at U.A. just like everyone else. I'm not here to prove anything to you or anyone else. I'm here to become a hero, and nothing you say will change that."
Ravage, sensing Midoriya's determination, cheered him on from inside his pocket. "That's it, kid! Show him what you're made of!"
Bakugo, taken aback by Midoriya's resolve, clenched his teeth in frustration. "You... You think you're so tough, Deku? You're nothing! Just a weakling with no quirk!" He tried to push Midoriya again, but this time, Midoriya stood his ground, his eyes filled with determination.
"I may not have a quirk, Bakugo," Midoriya said, his voice steady, "but I have something you'll never have: true strength of character. And that's what makes me a real hero."
Bakugo just watched Midoriya walk away in the direction, but soon got back on his feet and had a very angry look on his face. This was the first time Deku ever stood up to him and it only increased his hatred for the green-haired boy.
"Damn you, Deku!" Bakugo clenches his fist in anger. "I'm going to make you pay for this!"
U.A. High School- Morning
Present
Bakugo glared downwards, thinking of what Midoriya said to him. "I'm gonna ruin that little punk. Right after I figured out how he got in." He thought of looking away from Midoriya and then to Jake. "And that goes double for that damn quirklees freak."
