Cassandra woke up to find herself back in her room. She can vividly remember Grell talking to Sebastian that he would take her and Lizzie back to their homes. After that she passed out from exhaustion from the wonderful night of dancing. She could recall the lingering cold touch from Grell's hands as they danced together. The same as the Undertaker's.
"Maybe he has poor circulation, like him. I mean it's pretty common. Sometimes even I have it." Cassandra murmured to herself. She still couldn't get the image of Grell's strange colored eyes out of her mind. They seemed to give off a phosphorescent glow that drew her into them. The more she thought about him, Cassandra couldn't help but admit that she had feelings for Grell, making her heart beat a little faster. He was always nice to her, clumsy, and made her laugh. Cassandra checked her bandage on her arm and saw a little blood was seeping through it. "A nice bath will do, and I'll change it."
She headed towards the bathroom and got undressed, washing her hair and cleaning herself. As she scrubbed the dried blood from her arm, Cassandra noticed that the wound that Madame Red had stitched up was almost healed. All that was left was a faint scratch. Cassandra got out of the bath and drying herself off and put on her clothes, leaving her arm unwrapped. Some fresh air will help heal it faster, instead leaving it covered all the time.
Then she headed to the Undertaker's worker shop, wondering if Undertaker was up yet but didn't see him anywhere. Cassandra saw today's newspaper lying on the table and walked over to read it. "Jack the Ripper Strikes Again! Another prostitute has been mysteriously murdered."
Cassandra frowned, looking at the headlines and placed it down. The room was looking a little dusty and needed a little cleaning. Cassandra began to clean around the shop until she heard the door open and saw Ciel, Sebastian, Madame Red, Grell and Lau, walk inside.
"Undertaker, are you there?" Ciel called out and saw Cassandra.
"Morning, Ciel." She smiled then turned towards Grell and Sebastian. "Hey, you two." Sebastian bowed slightly to her while Grell smiled back, blushing a little.
"We didn't come here for games. Have you seen him or not?" Ciel asked Cassandra. Cassandra smiled, innocently.
"He'll probably be around momentarily."
"Well done. I thought I would see you before long." A voice laughed. Then the lid of a coffin slid open, revealing Undertaker with a creepy grin, scaring Grell who fell on the floor, while Madame Red and Lau stared at him dumbfounded, startled as well. "So lovely to see you. Will I finally have the pleasure of fitting you in one of me coffins today?"
"No, that isn't why I'm here. I wanted to-" Ciel spoke and he was cut off by Undertaker when he placed his finger to Ciel's lips.
"No need to say. I'm already aware. Very well aware. One of my recent customers was a bit unusual, shall we say. I helped her and made her look beautiful again!" He grinned.
"I would like the details, please." Ciel said.
"So, the funeral parlor is only your cover business. How much is it for information?" Lau asked Undertaker, who quickly rushed over to him, scaring him.
"I have no need for currency. There's only one thing that I want from you-" Undertaker told them then he turned, looking over to Ciel. "Please, my lord! Give it me and I'll tell you anything!" He grinned and started giggling, madly. "Just give me the gift of true laughter! Just one joke and all the information will be yours!"
"Leave it to me, my lord." Lau said. Lau began to tell his joke to Undertaker but made everyone confused. Madame Red tried to tell her dirty joke to Undertaker but also failed as well. Undertaker grinned turning to Ciel.
"Now my lord, looks like you're the only one left. I gave you special discount last time and I won't do it again."
"I can get him to laugh." Cassandra smirked and walked over to Undertaker. She reached up before he could stop her and began to tickle him, especially his secret spot behind his neck. Undertaker squirmed trying to get away from her, laughing uncontrollably.
"No! No! No! That's cheating!" Undertaker laughed, pushing Cassandra's hands away from him.
"It can't be helped." Sebastian stepped up. He looked at everyone in the room. "I'd like for all of you to step outside for a moment and whatever you hear, don't come in until I say so."
Everyone waited outside the shop, hearing dead silence. While waiting, Cassandra glanced down and noticed the ring on Ciel's finger. The same one the Lizzie had broken.
"Hey, Ciel, that ring. It looks exactly like the one that was broken."
"It is."
"But I thought it was broken beyond repair, how?"
"Sebastian managed to salvage it and fix it." Ciel told her. Then a loud laughter up roared from within, almost shaking the entire building. Sebastian opened the door, smiling.
"Please do come back inside now. I believe he will tell us everything we want to know."
Cassandra stayed silent, silently staring at Ciel then looking at Sebastian, looking at the two, suspiciously. There was no way that ring could be fixed. It was completely shattered. But somehow Sebastian managed to. Everyone peeked inside to find Undertaker laying over the desk, completely exhausted, laughing and panting a little, trying to catch his breath.
"What did you tell him?" Cassandra asked Sebastian.
"I'm afraid I cannot tell you. It's not appropriate for your ears." Sebastian smiled. Undertaker slowly sat up and walked over to a small statue with the diagram of the human body, picking it up looking at it.
"It's an interesting pattern I've seen these days. I often get customers who are incomplete."
"Incomplete?" Sebastian questioned.
"Yes. The uterus is missing. Which is quite odd. The killer makes a big mess of the body. But that particular part is always precisely excised." Undertaker explained. Cassandra thought to herself, silently, wondering why that particular part.
"So, it must be someone in a higher class, possibly. Wouldn't an amateur have a difficult time carrying out such a complicated task?" Sebastian asked him.
"Maybe a doctor or a physician? Or black-market dealers for body parts?" Cassandra asked. She saw Madame Red tense up a little but stayed quiet. Grell was unusually silent as well. She turned to him.
"Is there something wrong?" She asked him. Grell smiled.
"N-No, I'm just a little disturbed by it all." He told her.
Undertaker grinned and he walked over to Cassandra. "That was exactly what I was thinking."
Cassandra felt the Undertaker wrap his arms around her, placing his hand on her shoulder. "First he slits her throat with a sharp weapon." and he made a slicing motion with his finger across her neck then moved down to her stomach. "Then he rips into her right her right her and takes her precious womb apart." Cassandra pushed him away from her.
"Are you done?"
Undertaker smiled, looking at Sebastian and Ciel. "There will be more I'm certain of it. Sadistic killers like this one won't stop until someone discovers them. Can you stop him? Can you sniff them out like a good little guard dog?"
"I'm bound by the honor of my family. I'll eliminate any threat the queen asks me to. By any means I find necessary." Ciel spoke. They all left the shop and Cassandra decided to come along as well to help. They all climbed into the carriage and Grell drove while they began to come up with a plan.
"With this information I believe we have a narrower elimination of suspects." Ciel said.
"We'll look at those with the necessary skills and cross out the alibi on the nights on which the murders occurred. The removal of the organs suggests some kind of gruesome ritual. We should concentrate on the investigation on secret societies." Sebastian pointed out.
"As if that narrows the field. Why even I have the medical skills necessary for this!" Madame Red shouted, feeling accused.
"So, are you admitting that you, did it? Like I said before, it could be a doctor or some from the black market." Cassandra asked her, smirking.
"I don't like this accusation! There's barely enough evidence to go around pointing fingers!" Madame Red cried out.
"Relax. I was only poking fun at you." Cassandra spoke.
"Besides, which the season's ending soon. Any doctors that follow nobles to the city will be returning to the country and then what-" Madame Red said before Sebastian interrupted her.
"Then let's conclude the investigation quickly." He smirked.
"It's impossible." Lau replied.
"I should be able to do this meretriciously. Otherwise, what kind of butler would I be? I'll make a list of suspects and question them immediately, my lord." Sebastian smiled and he opened the door. "Now if you'll excuse me." and he jumped out of the moving carriage. Madame Red, Lau and Cassandra all looked out the back window in shock.
"He does know this carriage is moving, right!?" Madame Red exclaimed. But they didn't see Sebastian anywhere. He had disappeared.
"Sebastian, will take care of it. We can head home and have a cup of tea, while we wait." Ciel told them. Grell drove up to Ciel's separate estate and everyone stepped out of the carriage. Just as they were about to open the door, Sebastian opened it, surprising everyone other than Ciel, as he stood in front of them, smiling.
"Welcome back everyone, I have awaited your return." Sebastian said, bowing. "Your afternoon tea is waiting for you in the drawing room."
"Hold on! How are you here?" Madame Red questioned.
"I finished off a little early. So, I made my way home." Sebastian answered.
"You've made the suspect list already!?" Madame Red sputtered.
"Well, yes. I've made a list of suspects based on what we've discussed and then I contacted them all and I asked them irrelevant questions." Sebastian pulled out two scrolls, listing suspects.
"Come now, Sebastian, that's impossible even for you."
Sebastian smirked and unrolled one of the scrolls and quickly began to read out the suspects and their skills. Lau, Madame Red and Cassandra all stood looking at him dumbfounded. Grell stared at Sebastian in awe, looking at him admiringly. Sebastian finished reading the list.
"From this information, I've narrowed it down to one possible suspect."
"Are you certain you're just a butler, not a secret intelligence military officer?" Madame Red asked.
"You see, my lady. I am simply one hell of a butler."
