One World: Many Souls

Chapter 44: I'M DONE!

Angel's Point of View:

"I can't believe I put this off for so long…"

"It couldn't be helped that you got so busy right after your wedding." I simply couldn't hold back the rolling of my eyes at my sister who whined on the bed in Alphys' home. "There's nothing to worry about. Yes, you might be a bit bigger than normal human children, but your child is part monster from Asriel's part of them. So that could attribute to them being as big as they are at this stage."

Granted, I could understand why my baby sister was whining as much as she was. It was her first child that she was pregnant with, and she was about the size I'd been when I was pregnant with the first set of twins. It wasn't something that would have surprised me if Frisk had multiples, they ran in the family. I'd had two sets of twins myself. Thankfully my last one wasn't going to be multiples. I was graced with a single girl.

So, Frisk finally had a free day to be checked up by our good friend. I decided to come with her while the kids were at school, daycare, and Sans had Jokerman while he was finishing up his latest semester finals. Asriel was with us surprisingly as well.

Since taking over as soon to be crowned king and taking his future queen, his job has gotten much harder. All decisions that were normally left up to his father and mother were now being added slowly to his shoulders. Asriel was doing all he could to keep up with it all and make sure to save some time for Frisk on his days off and after work. The morning was always a blur with the two of them. Frisk described it once as a struggle to untangle themselves from each other, get dressed and ready, then head immediately to work. Frisk still focused mostly on her music while taking on some duties, though most of them fell to Asriel with him being the blood born heir.

Though he did have some wonderful staff that he and his father had trained up to take over certain parts of work until he could come back after a rare day off to find out the gender and health of his first child.

"Its gonna be okay Frisk." Asriel tried to keep his wife calm as she laid there on the bed, currently waiting for Alphys. It seemed the future king was more exciting than his wife to see what the outcome of her results were. He was simply buzzing with anticipation, though it could have also been to help with Frisk's slowly brewing emotions. She fed off of him so much, and he could take quite a bit from her when she got into a mood.

Thank goodness Asriel knew how to handle my sister…

Before we knew it, the door creaked open, so we both looked up to greet whoever was there. Though the door didn't open further. Before saying anything, I gave Asriel a look before standing up and slowly approaching the door. Instantly knowing what was going on, I peeked out to see a shy little set of silver eyes looking up at me.

Oh yes, those silver eyes were the most beautiful thing on the youngest of the von Undying family. Undyne had been moved to tears when her daughter had inherited her mother's lovely silver eyes, something that was so rare in the monster world even that Undyne was overwhelmed with joy.

Valeriya stood outside the door with wide eyes when hers and mine met. She hid behind a wall with a scowl only that her mother could produce. I struggled to hold back the giggle before I opened the door a bit wider.

"Val? You want to come sit with us?" With gentle coaxing, I motioned her toward us. "Your mother is going to help us see the baby soon. Do you want to see?"

The little girl was quiet for a few moments as she watched me with intense eyes. She blinked a few many times before she slowly nodded. With a stuffed doll in hand, a little lizard that was the same color as her scientist mother, she slowly approached. I saw Valeriya take special interest in the large bellies that both Frisk and I held. I was supposed to be giving birth in the next couple weeks. I was nearly full term while Frisk of course was only around month six at the moment.

"Do you wanna feel the babies kick?"

Her little eyes lit up at the words I said. I carefully waddled back to my chair where the little girl slowly walked up to me. I wore a warm red sweater dress that day since they were easier to wear then pants with my fully pregnant abdomen. Valeriya carefully put her hands up my bell with my encouragement to feel a strong kick to her hands. She gasped, and flew back for a moment. She stared at my belly in wonder while I struggled to stifle a laugh.

"Yeah, she's kicking really hard." I motioned for the little girl to come back in. "You can feel them again if you want."

"Or you can feel mine!" Frisk tried to take in the positive energy from her husband to keep her nerves at bay with a child there. She batted her growing belly eagerly. "They just started kicking a little while ago! You're mommy is going to tell me what I'm having today!"

"C-can…" Valeriya slowly spoke, trying to get out the few words she was learning how to say and communicate. "C-can I… see?"

"Of course, you can find out with us!" Frisk eagerly patted the extra space on the bed. "You wanna lay with me?"

The little girl nodded before going to her side. She struggled though to pull up her body weight onto the slightly too tall bed frame that Frisk was settled in. Asriel chuckled at her try hard nature before picking her up and setting her next to his wife.

The little girl and her plushie snuggled into the side of Frisk while feeling over her smaller belly carefully. Another kick seemed to startle her, but that time she settled down and continued to feel the kicks as she ran her little webbed fingers over the soon to be mother's abdomen.

"Valeriya, w-where are you little one?"

The small one lifted her head, but didn't move from Frisk's side as she laid there. It was too adorable to stop her, so I simply called out to our longtime friend.

"In here Al."

Alphys came quickly to the door, peaked inside before she near melted at the scene. Watching her youngest laying with Frisk and stroking the elder's skin was endearing. Valeriya looked at her mother nervously with a little wobble to her lip. A silent question that she wanted to stay.

"I don't mind if she's here Alphys. If you're okay with it." Frisk noted to our friend as Alphys closed the door behind her. With a soft creek it clicked shut and our friend the scientist got ready for work.

"I-if you're okay w-with it, t-that's fine." Alphys smiled at her little girl from where she was pulling on the machine to bring it to Frisk's side. "N-now Val, you can watch, b-but while M-mommy puts this goop on A-aunt Frisk, y-you have to n-not touch h-her belly. Okay?"

A quiet nod came from the girl and she sat back at bit, opting to cuddle into Frisk's side under her arm. Was it bad that near all of us cooed at her behavior in the room? She was a spectacle in herself. Already capturing our hearts.

I knew we were going to be in a hell of a lot of trouble when she got older…

"Cold!"

Frisk's startled screech had her reaching for Asriel's hand and trying not to crush Valeriya into her side. I couldn't help but roll my eyes, but I bit my tongue. I couldn't lie, I believed I'd behaved similarly when I was pregnant with Eras and Arial.

"O-okay then… l-let's see w-what you're having F-frisk." Alphys began before giving my sister a slightly mischievous look. "A-any bets on w-who thinks w-what you're h-having?"

Frisk pouted at her. "Alphys!"

"I… uh… I'm hoping for multiple."

"Ditto."

"What?!" Frisk whipped her head around first at her husband before then scowling at me. "That's the last thing I want! Why would you wish that?"

"Asriel's thinking of the history of our family as well as what you would want Frisk." I gave the girl a sideways glance while checking my phone went it went off. A check in text from Sans if we knew anything yet. I replied quickly that I would know soon and looked up at her directly. "You're a simple person who likes things simple when you can. Having a multi-kid birth just means one time you're pregnant unless you want to do this again."

"I-I know you haven't been feeling good Frisk." Asriel rubbed the back of his head nervously. "I'm sure you won't want to do this again, so if we have multiple, it will give us the kids you wanted but without putting you through this more than once. You know?"

Frisk I saw took careful consideration at his words. She continued to pout before she sighed and sunk a bit in her seat, leaning back while Alphys was just beginning to rub the probe into her skin. "Okay… you're right. Sorry… my emotions are all over the place. Makes me similar to… just after… Luke, you know?"

"It's okay." Asriel squeezed her hand tightly. "If it's just one and you don't want any more kids, then that's it. Okay? It's your body, you decide about that."

A deep breath left her before she nodded carefully at his words. "Thanks Azz."

"You got it."

"W-well…" Alphys pulled us away from our conversation while she looked at the screen with wide eyes. "I-it looks like Asriel is getting his wish. A-and then some…"

I couldn't help but blink at the woman myself. "Al? Care to explain?"

Every single one of us watched carefully as Alphys turned around the screen she was using to look at the inside of Frisk's abdomen. It was a screen of many shades of grey that I'd seen a time or two, but still had a tough time figuring out what was uterus and what was child. I saw Alphys reach for a special marker to draw on the screen and Valeriya perked up at this. I saw her tiny little finger watched her mother draw colorful red circles on the screen.

"One…" She started off counting softly. "Two… three? Three…"

"Three?"

"Three?!"

"THREE?!"

"I-it would a-appear t-that there are t-three b-babies in there…" Alphys paused as she looked harder at the screen. "H-hold on, i-I'll see what the genders a-are. D-do you want to know?"

"Y-yes please!" Asriel was the one to shout that out quickly.

"Go ahead Al," I told the woman while my sister was a bit froze on the table. "We're doing a gender reveal party later with the others. I'll write it down and get the preparations done soon."

"O-okay… well…"

I watched the woman make some modifications to the tool she was using. I saw the color change then from red to pink that she wrote with. Two of the babies were marked with that color before I saw her change it again to a light blue and mark the last one with that color.

"H-holy f-fudge and lemon sponge pie!" It was almost comical how Asriel was using sweets to hide his swear words while Valeriya was in the room with us. "Frisk! We're gonna be parents to three kids! Two girls and a boy!"

However, my sister struggled to respond at that point. I saw her go pale, and in seconds, she crashed backward onto the sheets and pillow that cushioned her fall. Honestly, I was surprised she held up as long as she did. Finding out she was pregnant with triplets probably would have done me in, much like finding out about Arial and Eras.

"Frisk?!"

"O-oh dear…"

"Just give her a few minutes… I'm surprised she lasted as long as she did after find out how many she was having." I struggled to hide my laugh behind my hand. "I was no different all those years ago."

"Y-yes, but you w-were a-also startled b-by the f-fact that y-your l-little ones were a-alive r-rather than… not."

"Yeah… you're right about that Alphys." I sighed at her words before stretching my arms over my head. "Okay, I got to take a lap. I'm feeling pretty stiff-"

"Mommy!" All of us were startled by little Valeriya's cry. Her little face was filled with worry as she pointed and stared at… me? "Mommy?! Mommy!? Hurt!"

"H-hurt?"

Alphys and Asriel both looked over at me and even I took a look at myself. Nothing I could feel was wrong other than needing the ladies' room. My dress looked good other than the fact I felt a bit sticky. I assumed it was sweat from how warm it was. Carefully moving a led from under my dress to see what was going on, before I even could see my foot past my belly I heard gasps from the room.

"Oh no…." I knew those looks…

One careful look to one of my legs and I noticed that blood and mucus were rolling down the side of it slowly. Looking over the side of the chair, a pile had accumulated when I moved part of my long, heavy dress out of the way. It was carefully hidden all that time and only when Valeriya saw my skin through a crack in my dress she noticed.

Let this be my last kid so I didn't have to avoid wearing white!

I carefully felt between my legs under my dress and I sighed when I felt the familiar little head trying to come through.

"Here we go…"

"Shit! Let me help you, Angel!"

"I-I'll get the n-next b-bed ready!"

"Azz, you don't need to pick me up. I can walk."

"You're in the middle of labor woman! What if the kid comes out of you while you're walking-?!"

But we never had a chance to finish that conversation as if felt a larger weight coming from between my legs. Already spread wide with a hand on the counter by me to support myself, I didn't even feel the push that ended up with me carrying my little girl in my arms. She moved a bit, but she wasn't crying at that moment.

"O-oh my goodness!" Alphys rushed away quickly while yelling at the male in the room. "A-azz! Help h-her to the b-bed and c-call Sans!"

"Right!"

I carefully pulled my little girl into my arms before I was yanked into the arms of the future king. I didn't even bother to say a word as he carefully set me on the bed next to my sister who was still knocked out during it all. Alphys rushed up to help clean up my baby and patting her back to get her to scream.

Hearing her cry out instantly calmed the few nerves that I felt going through my body. My little girl was set into my arms just as a flash of blue appeared and Sans rushed into the room holding Jokerman.

"Angel?!"

"Over here, Darling."

Sans rushed over around the curtain that barely separated myself and my sister in the room. One look at Alphys and Asriel fretting over me had him sighing deeply while I held our newest youngest child. Carefully walking over to not disturb them, he sat down next to me and brushed a little phalange over his daughter's cheek.

"She's got a lot of ya in her, Angel."

"All the kids look like me, but I'd say she's got your skull and eye socket shape."

"Yeah, yeah." He watched out little girl carefully before looking over at me. "Looks like she's Pristina Terians."

"Pristina…" I wasn't sure what it was, but that name sounded like she was going to be a handful. Little did I know back then how right I would be…

"Our lovely, last little girl."

"So as long as it's a boy next time, ya won't get pissed?"

He ducked when I took a swing at him that time. Jokerman thankfully was on the side of him where he couldn't be hit while Sans laughed.

"Sorry Angel, nah, this is out last kid. No more. It's too much work with the now six we got now. Gonna be even more crazy when the eldest two hit teens in a few years…"

"Oh yes, that's going to be lovely…"

"Holy shit! What happened here?!" Everyone paused before looking around the curtain to see my sister was then awake and looking at the horror seen of me giving birth in the chair next to her. Her gaze matches mine and she sees little Pristina in my arms. "You gave birth!? How long was I out?!"

I could only raise an eye brow at her. "Long enough, my dear sister. Long enough…"

Witch's Note:

Oh man, here's that last surprise I had for Frisk! I swear, when Mystic Boy said weeks ago "Triplets" in his review, I about shit a brick! You guys can be too on point with your guesses! I know perhaps it wasn't for Frisk since we didn't know at the time, but still!

And now, Frisk is married, having children with Asriel, and Angel hopefully has had her last kid. But it also looks like Sans agrees with this as well, so maybe that magic number he said all that time ago was six? Damn... if that was the correct number he told Asgore all those years ago, man he really did want a huge family.

Six kids... I'll be honest, that might be a bit much for me if I was in their shoes...

But oh well! We're doing great!

But I think I've rambled on long enough, time for reviews!

Thechaosmaster: Welp, were you expecting this answer to your question Chaos? Three kids! Triplets! Two girls and a boy! Lots of royalty on its way. And by the looks of it, it sounds like Frisk will never get pregnant again... XD

And thank you for that compliment! I wanted to make them different from a normal marriage for humans, and something that was more magical and permanent. You know? Merging a soul, that doesn't go away. Even if a partner is gone. And you feel like you've lost a part of yourself if they're gone. Granted that hasn't happened to us at all with our main cast, but that could change. We don't know that yet with those baddies on the loose.

Shadow8Phantom: Very correct! She is very much the princess/queen now of monsters, whenever Asgore is ready to pass the titles onto the two of them. But I think it's pretty obvious that this was the last big home run I had in store for her. It was just so hilarious with each persons' reaction.

As for the reflection of their marriage and how it changes them, it's possible that the visual interpretation does represent their souls. Frisk has gone through a lot over the years and has changed in course. It's also possible that maybe she pulled that trait from Asriel. We have to keep in mind that while Angel gave him a soul, he at one point had six other souls attached to him, and one of those was an orange soul, bravery. Either point could be logical.

But you do leave a good point at the bottom. We still haven't heard anything from Luke in many months. Honestly, I think it was about fifteen chapters ago when we may have last heard from him at all. And since he escaped Mystic's grasp over here. You do pose a wonderful question, and another fear to keep in mind is how his powers will grow. He was only about seventeen when we last saw him and it took him a couple of years to take over Frisk completely, and his control was lost so easily if he was hit. Is that the trigger? Is there more to it? We don't know, and that could be the most terrifying part that we've yet to find out.

MysticBoywastaken:This review was intercepted before it could reach the computer of Halloween Witch. While working at your computer screen, you notice a link appear on your computer in the upper corner where that mysterious code had been placed weeks ago. It was gone then. Clicking the link, a video call starts and you hear it ring.

The screen changes to an office on the water, with crashing waves in the background with the same hooded person sitting there, watching you with red glowing eyes.

"So it seems you've figured out my code. Well done. So, you know when we'll be striking. I hope you're ready to betray those stupid women. There won't be any going back once you do this." The figure pauses to look over some paperwork at the side. "I hope you're ready. We will be beginning our operations soon. So, since you are prepared then... the first thing we need you to provide for us are those security codes. Oh, don't look so surprised... you know which ones we need..."

The figure will continue to let you in on their plan while time flies by. Once the plan has been entirely converted to you, they reiterate your part in getting the codes before the call is dropped and a timer is now counting down in the top of your screen where the code and the link have been. Along with a new link.

You open it, it's a blank email. You try to click around it, but you're only able to put writing into the bottom section. You can not choose the person to send it to, nor put a subject in it. The send button also does not work until you put a letter in the bottom section.

This must be where that mystery person wants you to put the codes they're asking for.

Do you do it?

Dasansi: Oh my goodness! I didn't think I'd see your name again after so long! Dasansi! How are you? Man it has been a long time since we've talked and man oh man have you missed quite a bit! But it's great to see you all the same.

We need to catch up! Have you had a chance to read the other chapters? How are you feeling about them? What's been going on in life?

Not A Shady Guy: Isn't it cute Shady? Maybe we weren't expecting it so soon, but to be honest, Frisk waited longer to marry Asriel compared to Angel and Sans getting married. But we knew that was a drawn out slow burn. This time around, I'm jumping years all over the place. But now I gotta ask you.

WERE YOU EXPECTING THIS?

And as for that new format you saw where Mystic Girl took a shot at doing the chapter endings compared to me? She's picked a small handful of chapters she's doing that for with special moments. It's not going to happen often, since she's pretty busy with her family most days, so that's why it's me writing them normally. But she certainly tries when she can.

A-okay! Now we've gotten ourselves to the end of another chapter and now... we do some jumping!

For clarity, we're actually going to be jumping at least three-four years into the future to start with, but we're going to now start focusing on the kids as they grow up, either through Angel and Sans' point of view or through their own. Time to see their own lives as we go about this.

And... maybe we'll finally find out where those babies are that got out so long ago... Mystic has been going mad trying to find them, which is why she's barely been in any posts recently. Plus, amping up her security as you saw a few months ago...

But anyway, we love you all and we'll see you next week!
