Chp09 State Fair Grunge-ville A Musical

Saturday Puyallup WA. Fair grounds

There are triggers in this chp.

Walking thru the Gold Entrance (VIP) with Elliott and Madison: We've talked on the phone and the shopping trip. Mad has not lost her fashion senses. At least I don't have to have any of that nonsense in my head. I hope Amelia's absent, hasn't produced a fashionista war down the road. But till then; My closest is set till next Easter. As far as events and parties. My casual and business attire is well stocked by Christian's professional shopper Carol and Gail.

I suspect a special run to Fredricks of Hollywood or Victorian secrets. Possible Spirit Halloween store as well. Kinky fantasies are kinky Christian make happy, very happy. To say nothing of my joy and pleasure. Damn that man has got me one tracking on sex, again. Must remember we are at a PUBLIC State Fair. No Madsion type behavior.

The guys are wary but civil. Elliott talked with Roz. They seem to have a better repour than with Gwen. Maybe Roz, the past queen of the one-night stand, is just more like the former man-whore of the Northwest, Elliott Grey. Each of the couple drove down separate. Elliott's guy Clint dropped them off seconds ago.

Roz and Gwen stand waiting for us. Gwen's Monster Camper Van, for her artist painting trips. She loaned to her Ska band friend and crew, catching a ride. They got here early and in the entertainment talent secure campground. They have four shows over this two days weekend; with possibly six shows during the week and over next weekend.

First thing is getting the three-couple interacting. Amelia and Luke, who knew he was her type. They are stuck in Yellowstone with his parents. The joy, Ray is due tomorrow. Andrea and Barney are in the air for Atlanta. A server section, whatever the hell that is, blew up yesterday. Fred and Barney flipped a coin and Fred won. So, it's just six of us and security. I look as we float into the VIP tent. We get a host guide. The joys of being mega rich. At least right now, here. The civil angels are ruling the couples. Pray and hope it last. First thing, we girls ride the antique carrousel.

While the guys and Roz photobomb us. I smile and make my man change from wary grumpy dude to relaxed boyfriend. We move thru the crowds, down Showplace Road, looking and fading into the crowd. Just a couple of couples walking, talking, joking, skirting the little kiddy zones into the center Livestock barns along Milkcan Ave. Nothing is happening in the livestock arena yet.

So, we meander thru the dog and cat exhibits, working thru the slowly thickening crowds about Blue Ribbon Ave into the cattle and rabbit exposition barns. Tractor Supply Arena, a guy is working a cattle dog and couple of calves. We stay a few minutes. Bet Amelia could have explained it or enjoy it more than us.

Mad and me; con the others to try milking at the demo exhibit. The photos are going on Facebook; if not the company websites for sure. Gwen apparently did this in Girl Scouts. Smirking at us: She laughs as Roz nearly barfs grabbing the goat's tit. Mad thinks America Funniest Video show, "We have a winning entry" she crows as the guys run terrified from a little goat. The kids about roar in laughter. Mad and me, bolt for the nearest rest room before we pee our pants. Lucky it's at the end of the barn.

We take pity on the urban group, and head over the sky way into the rides of Thrill-Ville. We have thirty minutes till Gwen's SKA band friend kicks off the show in the nearby Coco Cola Stage. We get two rides before we head over for the show. Dancing and cheering like fools, or twenty somethings. The crowd blows up when they cover Madness 'Our House.'

Then we race across the park to the Showplace Stage. A college friend of ours is making an appearance. We huff with five minutes to spare. Tess is one of the few friends we still have from Vancouver. She is staring in a Bluegrass musical, 'Mountain Laural.' Story of young love with historic and modern blue grass music. She rocks the stage as 'twenty something Laural.'

We wander by the Main Arena watch demos and winner awards. We head to the Grandstand picking up lunch and enjoy the bands. Watching the people and the exhibits and just relax in the anonymity.

Flacking in the VIP section, eating, enjoying the last part of a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers cover band from San Francisco. Between bands as the set-up crews work on the next band. An inept Magian comedy show entertains the crowd. The guy is hilarious. Part magic, part Buster Keaton, Charle Chapin, part Gallager totally hilarious. How the hell did he pull a live rabbit out of his hat, after busting the top out and crunching it on his head to a neckless under his chin. We enjoy Spandau Ballet, they just reunited a few years ago.

Roz says the next corporation event; he's hired. Gwen has the guide send word. The Community College History Professor is an easy-going guy, a real ham; loves Gwen and Roz gushing over him. He scoots as to do the next band change as Spandau Ballet hits the encore. We head to the Mattressfirm Showplex art galleries exhibits. Roz and Christian have been good. Elliott and Mad heads over to the Pavilion, near the Gold Gate we entered earlier, more his things: home and maker's stuff. We will meet at the Oldfield Western Heritage Center in an hour.

We wait the slow pokes; They stopped at the Pioneer Pub after dancing to a Wham cover band at the stage near the Gold Gate. They are very loose and suddenly Christian and Elliott are nearly to blows. Madison is not helping; getting face to face with Roz. Ok, typical fair day; the fun, the rides, the animals, the beer and then the fight. Last time it was Ray and Jose senior about of all things, a ruined finish on a cabinet ten years ago. Males are weird. I look thru the fair guide.

"Oh! Hell yes! Tayor get them sober and inline. We are going to the Expo Hall. Guide call ahead: I want an hour." Showing her the entry.

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Standing in the Expo Hall 'Make your own Music video' vendor.

"OH hell no! Anna please no!" Christian begs.

"You two and Roz first up. We are picking the song. So, get in the mood and the rock star fantasy. Because you are doing it! Till I am happy about it." The condemned huff into the room.

"Gwen you ready" she nods

"Alright the lyric will play on the front screen: the green screens behind you ignore them we will play back the finished video after the song on the front screen. OK. One two three" the producer speaks.

(The three sing)

(Help) I need somebody

(Help) Not just anybody

(Help) You know I need someone

(Help!)

( Roz and Christian push, Elliott sings)

When I was younger so much younger than today

I never needed anybody's help in any way

But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured

Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors

[all three sing]

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down

And I do appreciate you being 'round

Help me get my feet back on the ground

Won't you please, please help me?

(Roz and Elliott push, Christian sings)

And now my life has changed in oh so many ways

My independence seems to vanish in the haze

But every now and then I feel so insecure

I know that I just need you like I've never done before

Xxxxxx Beatles "help"

They finish the song very happy. the video is fantastic. Views of the fair, flash around them.

"OH no! one more song and then us ladies will do one. An we already picked it." Gwen laughs.

"One, two three," the producer sings

The music blares. Surprising Roz walk to the center mic.

I used to travel in the shadows

And I never found the nerve to try and walk up to you

But now I am woman and I know that there's no time to waste

There's too much to lose

Girl, you say anything at all, and you know that you can call

And I'll be right there for you

First love, heartbreak, tough luck, big mistake

What else can you do

(Elliott and Christian sing harmony)

I'll say anything you want to hear

I'll see everything through

I'll do anything I have to do

Just to win the love of a girl like you, a girl like you

A girl like you, oh yeah

xxxxx "A Girl Like You" Smithereens

We are on fire; Gwen pushes Elliott and Christian back in as Roz steps to us. The argument is hot and heavy. Then the guys relent and smile. Gwen cues the producer.

"All right! Fire in the hold. One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready and GO! Go!"

(Christian and Gwen sings Elliott doing back up)

Wise men say

"Only fools rush in"

But I can't help falling in love with you

Wise men say

"Only fools rush in"

But I can't help falling in love with you

Shall I stay?

Would it be a sin?

I can't help falling in love with you

(Elliott sings)

As a river flows

Gently to the sea

Darling, so it goes

Some things were meant to be

(The three sing)

Take my hand

Take my whole life, too

I can't help falling in love with you

I can't help falling in love with you

I can't help falling in love with you

I can't help falling in love with you

xxxx UB40 "Can't Help Falling In Love" George Weiss, Hugo Peretti, Luigi Creatore

The guys come out "Roz get in here Now!"

"Producer, hit it. Sit down baby cakes"

I guess the time was right for us to say

We'd take our time and live our lives

Together day by day

We'll make a wish and send it on a prayer

We know our dreams can all come true

With love that we can share

With you I never wonder

Will you be there for me?

With you I never wonder

You're the right one for me

[both sing]

I finally found the love of a lifetime

A love to last my whole life through

I finally found the love of a lifetime

Forever in my heart

I finally found the love of a lifetime

xxxxxx Firehouse - Love of a Lifetime

They come out kissing like manic; We laugh and cheer. We start to head out when we realize Elliott has dragged Madsion into the booth and sit her on a chair, he produces a guitar. "Just the keyboard and lyrics." Elliott says.

(Elliott sings and plays)

We've only just begun to live

White lace and promises

A kiss for luck and we're on our way

We've only begun

Before the rising sun, we fly

So many roads to choose

We start out walking and learn to run

And yes, we've just begun

[both]

Sharing horizons that are new to us

Watching the signs along the way

Talkin' it over, just the two of us

Workin' together day to day, together

(Elliott sings and plays)

And when the evening comes, we smile

So much of life ahead

We'll find a place where there's room to grow

And yes, we've just begun

Xxxxx "We've Only Just Begun" Carpenters

They leave sucking face and ignoring everyone. Christian drags me inside: Everyone else has left. Christian sets me up to a mic. Point to the front screen.

"OK!"

"One for the money, two for the show, three to get ready and GO! Go!"

(Anna sings)

Is love so fragile and the heart so hollow?

Shatter with words, impossible to follow

You're saying I'm fragile, try not to be

I search only for something I can't see

I have my own life

And I am stronger than you know

But I carry this feeling

When you walked into my house

That you won't be walking out the door

Still, I carry this feeling

When you walked into my house

That you won't be walking out the door

Lovers forever, face to face

(Christian)

You in the moonlight

With your sleepy eyes

Could you ever love a man like me?

And you were right

When I walked into your house

I knew I'd never wanna leave

You might also like

Sometimes I'm a strong man

Sometimes cold and scared

And sometimes I cry

But that time I saw you

I knew with you to light my nights

Somehow I'd get by

First time I saw you

I knew with you to light my nights

Somehow I would get by

(Both)

Lovers forever, face to face

My city, your mountains

Stay with me, stay

I need you to love me

I need you today

Give to me your leather

Take from me my lace

But take from me my lace

Take from me my lace

xxxxxxxxxStevie Nicks & Don Henley "Leather And Lace"

Christian takes me in his arms and kiss me. Wow, We are smoking hot! I walk out the door. Christian closes the door; What is he doing? He moves a keyboard out to the stool, sitting "Just the bass and drums"

"Cued up, One, two, three, set!"

You ask me if I love you

And I choke on my reply

I'd rather hurt you honestly

Than mislead you with my fears

For who am I to judge you

In what you say or do

I'm only just beginning

To see the real you

And sometimes when we touch

The honesty's too much

And I have to close my eyes And hide

I want to hold you till I die

Till we both break down and cry

I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides

Romance's an honest strategy

Leaves me grappling with my pride

But through the years of maturity

Some tenderness survives

I'm just another writer

Still trapped within my truth

A hesitant prize-fighter

Still trapped within my youth

And sometimes when we touch

The honesty's too much

And I have to close my eyes And hide

I want to hold you till I die

Till we both break down and cry

I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides

At times I'd like to break you

And drive you to your knees

At times I'd like to break through

And hold you endlessly

At times I understand you

And I know how hard you try

And sometimes when we touch

The honesty's too much

And I have to close my eyes And hide

I want to hold you till I die

Till we both break down and cry

I want to hold you till the fear in me subsides

Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx"Sometimes When We Touch" Dan Hill

Christian sings with his eyes closed the whole song, never misses a note, or beat. Then opens them and mouths 'I love you'. He comes out of the booth, spend, and sweat soaked. I kiss him and hold him as the finished video plays. I don't see it at all. Just living in his arms and kiss.

"Dude! You could go professional; Man, I am not kidding. We are playing this on the outside screen right now, it's like standing room only." Breaking the kiss, mood, and my sanity.

"WHAT! I told you no outside screen! JASON!" I'm losing it, hopping mad pissed. Christian holds me.

"Hey! It's the only one; this one was so good: I had to. You guy's signed the forms."

"An you! Asshole signed an NDA: Lawyers are going to rain fire on your ass." Hopping mad

"Let's go babe; the lawyers and Jason will deal with this." Christian walks us out of the Pavilion. The crowd outside go wild. Flash and cell phone are wildly blinding. Luck we have on shades. Christian shields me, as Jason and crew with fair police get us out of here.

We meet up for one last Concert, a Buddy Holly cover band, sitting in the Grandstand VIP section. The Magician walks up.

"Hey, the next band wants to know if you would play with them. It's A Make a Wish Thing."

"Christian, you don't have too"

"Anna, you make me safe and want to be the man who deserves you. Come on; all of us. If I make a fool of myself; you bozos' can too." Christian smiles that million-watt bright, making the world better and me happy and free. We drag the others with us; security clears a path.

Back stage, we meet the band; Six teenager terminal cancer patients from Graces's hospital. Elliott is apparently known to several. Asking if Doc Grace is here. We shake our heads. The musician of the group discusses the song. I head-to-head with Gwen and Madsion.

Jason pulls us aside. "Christian: your parents, and grandparents are in the crowd. The kids invited them this morning. Seem they sponsored the band equipment." I look at my man.

"Its fine; they didn't sneak this. We don't have to meet them yet. Jason arranges us to sprint after the song."

Five minutes later:

About to go on stage "Here's my phone with the lyrics for you three girls."

Breathing deeply. "Elliott and Roz, shades on, with me. Lucky we all saw the movie" look at the song, one of Ray favorite from the His Army days.

We step out on to the stage, the girl on electric drums points near her. We help her finish setting up, the double IV in her arms are heavily taped. We look at the song, this is doable. Elliott and Roz set up with two wheelchair kids. Christian, with shades on, takes a seat at the keyboard with a young girl. She looks petrified. The crowd roars, wanting the music to start. Leaning over he whispers. She relaxes, even giggles.

"This is 'The famous Ward Six Band'." Christian Emcees. The Crowd roars.

"We loser adults, the studio band are Punishment Detail of USS Greystar (Crowd laughs): Bar tender where is my drink?" Christian roars. Laughter sweeps the crowd.

"In your lap ensign." Roz calls. Crowd roars in laughter

"No respect for the lower decks" Christian pouts, the girl next to him giggles. As laughter roars thru the venue.

"Speak for yourself, I'm an officer" Elliott crows, doing his biceps flex thing. The boys in the Wheelchairs copy him. Crowd roars in laughter and cheering. They are stalling to give the kids a chance to settle.

"Punishment detail for what" someone in the crowd roars.

"Classified" Roz screams

"Classified? We up front three, made the mistake of answering that age-old relationship trap question from our ladies, next to the Rock Star Drummer Thumper! Does this dress make me look bad." Christian laughs as the crowd roars

"I mean Bad (raising an eyebrow over his shade) or B-B-BAD. We three said the wrong one" Christian pantomimes.

"You'all are lucky to just be singing. A not dancing in tutus" Gwen roars. Crowd roars in laughter, chanting 'tutu, tutu!'

"Cindy what are we playing?" He smiles that million-watt face, calmly asks the girl next to him.

She whispers it. "Cool! You're in for a treat." He says to the crowd, like they could have heard it. He greases the keys. The crowd quiets "Like this, ready?"

She nods and plays the start. He falling in, aiding not taking over; My man will be so good with our kids. The drummer starts the beat. A boy on base, starts strumming. Gwen starts us on a hand motion.

Christian sings and the girl falls in)

No more timing each tear that falls from my eyes

I'm not hiding the remedy to cure this old heart of mine

(we all sing)

I can dream about you

If I can't hold you tonight

I can dream about you

You know how to hold me just right

(The kids sing)

I can dream about you

If I can't hold you tonight

I can dream about you

You know how to hold me just right

(Roz and Elliott bring the other out doing the strut, while the kids in the chairs sing with hand motions)

Moving sidewalks, I don't see under my feet

Climbing up from down here below

Where the streets sees me lonely for you.

I can dream!

Oh!

I can dream!

Yes I can dream!

Oh!

I don't understand it

I can't keep my mind off loving you (not even for a minute)

Ooh, now baby, I'm caught up in the magic I see in you

There's one thing to do

Oh!

(Christian sings to the little girl)

I can dream about you

If I can't hold you tonight

I can dream about you

Oh

I can dream

Xxxx"I Can Dream About You" [O.S.T. Streets of Fire] Dan Hartman

The crowd goes wild. The girl whispers to Christian. "Ok Anna"

I walk to them. "We have been commanded to sing a duet, my Captain." The crowd goes wild. I throw the Vulcan salute, The cheers roar. The world shrinks to just us; here at this piano; alone in the universe. He shows me the song, I stand next the girl.

"Ready" hands on her shoulders. So, small and delicate. He plays the lead in; just the keyboard.

(girls sing)

There's a hero if you look inside your heart,

You don't have to be afraid of what you are.

And There's an answer, if you reach into your soul,

And the sorrow that you know will melt away.

(we all sing)

And then a hero comes along,

With the strength to carry on.

And you cast your fears aside,

And you know you can survive.

So, when you feel like hope is gone,

Just Look inside you and be strong.

And you'll finally see the truth,

That a hero lies in you...

(girl sings)

It's a long road, when you face the world alone;

No one reaches out a hand for you to hold...

You can find love if you search within yourself

And then the emptiness you felt will disappear...

And then a hero comes along

With the strength to carry on

And then you cast your fears aside

And you know you can survive.

So, when you feel like hope is gone

Look inside you and be strong

And then you'll finally see the truth

See That a hero lies in you.

(we all sing)

And then a hero comes along,

With the strength to carry on.

And then you cast your fears aside

And you know you can survive.

(Christian sings to the little girl)

So, when you feel like hope is gone,

Look inside you and be strong.

And you'll finally see the truth,

That a hero lies in you.

That a hero lies in you...

Xxxx Mariah Carey – "Hero"

Christian leans over and kiss the girl's forehead. Whisper words. The audience is deafening. I lean over and hug them. We rise. Christian lifts and steads the girl, standing on the piano bench, careful to not mess up her IV. She is a million miles up right now as we point to her. Making her the center of attention. Everyone comes out on stage and takes their bow to the crowd. The crowd goes wild. We quietly leave as the family and VIPS crowd the kids.

We grab our limo an escape. The other can make their way home. Jason has arranged rides. I hold my guy. "Hate to break the mood." Jason smirks.

"Barney says your three million and climbing. Here; take a look."

We look at the phone as the bootleg video of Christian, eyes closed sings 'Sometimes When We Touch' emotions intense and real explodes thru the screen. The background of the super-fast crowd streaming around him. Then during the chorus they freeze, stops. The video is amazing. Then at the end he looks up and eyes open and stares at the screen. Like he could see me. Mouthing I love you. Wow! He said it in a love song.

Sunday morning

Business Talk Show: National

We are talking about the Christian Trevelyan-Grey. The Man who masqueraded for nine years as Chris Grey Martin. Billionaire, recluse, the man with the Midas touch. Deborah

Well, Tom. Grey has risen from the ashes, Like the Phoenixes. Sources in Seattle tell me that he is still estranged from his parents.

Deborah? My sources; tell me he was one of the victims caught up in the Lincoln pedophile scandal. He disappeared right before the scandal broke. Rumors are the parent dumped him a nuthouse; which he escaped to start his company at eighteen. Henry Trastamara Holding Incorporated (HTH, Inc) by any measure is a success.

I don't think so; Grey as Martin was known to be in the company of Samual Summerton. An enigma, Nothing in the public record other than generic tax returns and Social Security payments. He was rumored to have been a soldier, spy, and government assassin. He left everything to Grey and supposedly died at sea. Grey was his only witness.

Bull shit, I know we must watch our language. But Christian Grey is a master of finances and restructuring companies. Look at his track record for just the last three years. Nine companies acquired and seven restructured into power house of technology and profits. Two broken up for by conservative estimates 200 to 300 percent over what he paid for them. This is supposed to be a business show, not a gossip rage.

Mel, you are correct. Watch the language. Trastamara just bought last week controlling interest in the Ancona Shipyard on the Adriatic. They are projecting a twenty-million-dollar infusion to modernize and build a manufacturing base. Why. The market for pleasure boats is nowhere near profitable?

Tom, here you go again looking at the lowest thought. A Shipyard on the major transit hub of Ancona. Source in Europe, point to recent investment in the aquaculture in the Mediterranean and Adriatic seas. Grey's San Diego Shipyard design teams have been modelling and testing boats and floating docks specifically to sea farming: fish, mussels, and other ocean food staples. I would say Grey enterprise is about to explode on the aquaculture market.

Mel, you could be right. Wish GEH or HTH was a publicly traded company; the stock potential would be incredible. Sorry Deborah that is all the time we have this morning. Tune in tomorrow, when we discuss junk bond funded growth in Las Vegas.

Sunday Morning in America:

"This morning, we are pleased to have exclusive interview with the overnight sensation and we mean overnight. A band at the Washington State Fair that has taken America heart. Let's go Live to Seattle Washington Children Hospital."

"Lisa how are you and the now World-Famous Ward Six Band!"

"Dan the mood here is somber; Early this morning Sandy 'Thumper' Broadmoor, the drummer succumbed to her long fight with cancer. The other Band members are sorrowfully after a night spent celebrating their triumphant performance yesterday at the state fair."

"Lisa, our hearts, and prayer are with her family and friends. Should we reschedule the interview? [A boy on crutches walks up]"

"Hi, Dan. Lisa. I'm Tom 'all thumbs' Wilson, the bass player. And Sandy would have wanted us to grab life for every second. And we four have only minutes and days left to be seen and heard. So, we are doing the interview. "

[A boy rolls up in a wheelchair:] Hi. I'm Reginal 'two foot' Smith, backup singer and dance master. We are happy to be here. [another boy is pushed up in a wheelchair by a nurse] This is Sam 'marbles' Menelik; my partner in the backup singers, dancing & tambourine madman. The princess of the group is Cindy Langford." [she wheels up in a chair]

"For any who do not know; We are all terminal with cancer; there is no surgeries or treatment that can save us. Sandy would have told you all, that we do not want pity or tears. We want to effect change, make a difference in ourselves, family, and society. We rocked yesterday on the stage." Cindy smiles brightly

"Hi, I watched the video. You guys were amazing. Cindy how did you feel on stage?"

"I was terrified; but Sandy and I on the way in saw Christian's video to Anna. When the Magician mentioned he knew them. Sandy sent him to get them to play with us. I really thought just Christian: Who is a hottie, would come. But he brought the whole group."

"We recognized Elliott Grey; he built an indoor playhouse for several patient on the ward. His mother is Doctor Grace. So, we relaxed, he's a cool dude. His girlfriend Madsion is hottie, He's lucky I'm too young or I would steal her." Reg smirks into the camera."

"In your dreams Reginal. If we were older, you'd eat my dust as I woo'd the Lady. Roz and Gwen are hotties too. Roz was joking and teasing us; discussing what the song was and hold to stage it."

"Like you two have a shot with me around. The ladies love bass players, we have the beat. Right Lisa?"

"Yes, a bass player like my husband has the best beat. Sorry, happily married. So, Cindy you're sitting with super hottie Christian Grey, on the piano bench?" Lisa asks.

"I was nervous. Terrified. Christian talked to me, joked, and asked for advice on how to woo his girl, Anna. Told me how inept he was on their first official date. A picnic in his penthouse, Seattle rain and all. An I was all ah! Cool! Wish I had a guy like that. Should have Thumbs call him and take notes."

"Sound like he was very approachable?" Dan asks

"Very! Then he got me playing and the song just flowed. Everything was golden. I told Christian I could make Anna ignore his missteps with a duet of Mariah's song. Sandy's favorite. It was magical. You can feel the love between them. They split right after the bow. Price of being mega rich. They called later at the hospital, sent flowers and Cake from Askatu Bakery. Doc Graces uses them allergen-free and all."

"Lisa, now is a good time before the break to show the band 'I can dream'" Dan smiles. The video plays

I don't understand it

I can't keep my mind off loving you (not even for a minute)

Ooh, now baby, I'm caught up in the magic I see in you

There's one thing to do

(everyone sings, including the audience)

I can dream about you

If I can't hold you tonight

I can dream about you

You know how to hold me just right

Oh!

(Christian sings to the Cindy)

I can dream about you

If I can't hold you tonight

I can dream about you

Oh

I can dream

"Wow, Cindy that was fantastic. Guy's you are all amazing." Dan speaks from New York

"We loved Sandy's close-ups, the girl lived to be a rock star. Don't believe me. Here watch this?" Sam holds up a tablet and video of Sandy and her parents on her hospital bed.

"I'M A ROCK STAR! A ROCK STAR! Did you see me. ROCK STAR DRUMMER! I want that on my tombstone: Loving Daughter and Rock Star Drummer. Mom you can watch the video after I'm gone and know how much I love you guys; Even you Evans, bratty older brother. She says to the one recording the video.

"Shout out to Anna, Mad and Gwen. Honorary Lieutenant Sandy 'Rockstar' Broadmoor. Assigned USS Greystar, Science section, here. Can't wait to visit Bedrock University, meet the Flintstones. I want you guys to sing at my memorial, happy tunes. I want 'hills are alive' from the Sound of Music; It Mom and was Grandma favorite. If this is my last video. I want everyone to know, proclaim from the Mountains; I was a Rock Star even if just for a minute. An everyone should laugh, dance, and sing at my memorial. I want to look down from heaven an see a party, not a wake. I have had all the sad, morbid shit already here on earth. You guys don't have to join me too soon. When we meet up there and jam; We will steal the show, and rock the heaven. I love you all." [the video ends] Not a dry eye.

"Dan give me a minute" Lisa cries into a napkin.

"You're not the only one Lisa [wiping his eyes] let play the second video." Dan says

The duet plays; the camera cuts back to the kids and now parents and family.

"That was amazing Cindy. How are you feeling?" Lisa asks

"Missing my partner in crime. Sad she is gone to heaven and happy that her suffering is over. Jealous we didn't get Starfleet ranks. Will have to petition Anna. She is a Captain."

"Could you ask Christian?" Dan asks

"He's just an ensign. He can't do anything yet." Cindy laughs

"Better than Roz; she's a bar tender on Greystar." Reg laughs

"She is an ensign to. Boys? Elliott's a lieutenant j.g.; whatever that means?" Tom muses

"J.G. means Junior grade. So that banter before the song was real?" Dan speaks

"They were stalling to give Cindy and the boys time to settle." Tom laughs

"I talked to several members of the movie band. They loved your version and the stage routine. They called me this morning when they heard we would be talking. Do you have any words to tell America?" Dan asks

"Give to cancer research; don't let other kids follow us. Give to Make a Wish. And lastly be kind and give of your self's not just money. We asked a stranger to sing with us. We got so much more than we thought we would ever get. We love you all, each, and everyone. Sandy, save a seat for me. So, we can sing for eternity. "Cindy smiles and waves.

Monday Morning

Talk show:

"Hello, we are talking today about the video and band taking the nation by storm. We are talking about the Ward Six Band out of Seattle."

"Tragic news this morning as the second band member has died. Reginal 'two- foot' Smith. Following the death yesterday of the drummer: Sandy 'Rockstar' Broadmoor. The band composted of five terminal ill cancer patients. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and the families."

"The band's viral video at the Washington State Fair; Saturday playing with billionaire Christian Grey and his girlfriend Anatasia Steele; his brother Elliott Grey with his Fiancée Madison Steele, adopted sister to Anatasia. His COO Rose Baily and her wife Gwendolyn. Spokesman for Grey Enterprise and Holding stated today and yesterday. Thoughts and prayers and donations to cancer research. No other public comment. Focus and attention should be only on the kids, the stars of the show."

"They seem determine to remain in the back ground. What are they hiding?"

"Beside some serious sing and musical chops. His viral music video to his girlfriend is third on the top Spotpop Chart after the Ward Six Band's two videos. His reemergence as Christian Trevelyan Grey, shedding his C.G. Martin personage. A publicly with a girlfriend. The only other known partners were submissive in BDSM. Wonder how submissive Miss Steele is? Or is this a pocket book relationship?"

"Did you watch the videos? Because if you cannot see or feel the raw emotions he was putting out. You are dead or a zombie. That is the soulmate relationship."

"Maybe, but you must admit it is a radical change from what we known about him before. An all that Trekkies stuff?"

"Well, being a Trekkie, married to a Trekkie and having Trekkie kids. What is wrong with Trekkie stuff. I talked Sunday to friend in Portland; Who was Miss Steele former Star Fleet Captain. He tells me both Miss Steele's are solid Trekkies. A caring and empathic pair. An that Grey House; being a cutting-edge tech hub and economic power house, a perfect place for Trekkies. The company has both a starship the Greystar and a Federation Explorations Directorate. With other clubs spread thru out the company; both here and in Europe. Creative people are draw to the clubs and fantasy play."

"Ok! Ok! Why do you think they are publicly speaking it."

"Well, it is a secret language. Allowing them to joke and talk with few people understanding it. But none of that detracts from Grey's Midas touch. The company not an hour ago, publicly offered for, ten million, for Seascape Technology Company. The company last year failed after board members pillaged and sold off their technological advantage. Grey is the only buyer; source say the takeover is all but done. GEH is expected to input ten million dollars to recapture the industry lead."

"With his European company buying that ship yard in the Adriatic, and this sea farming technology. Grey could corner the market. Already stocks are depressed by Grey's move."

"Well, his past foray into farming, farming tech and food distribution. Have netted massive wealth."

"Let us not forget, His little sister, Miss Grey; Currently outside Yellowstone. She has a non-profit company that provides sheep and goats for wild fire reduction. As well as owning farms in Europe and commercial herds of sheep and goats. Her entrepreneur spirit has restaurants, cutting edge diaries, and creameries, farms, ranches and even kennels."

"She is a French trained chef; The first 'America' teacher at her high-class cooking school in Paris. Most of her restaurant and cafes are three to five stars. Her company in Paris mission statement: The farms, ranches and other business are to provide quality, economic and ecological sustainable food sources and delivery. She is in the Yellowstone area because one of her mobile creameries was attacked and vandalized, Crew member hospitalized. The local Station says the attack by Neo-Nazis: really simple industrial espionage by a business rival. The FBI made arrest over the weekend in Utah, and Northern California."

"It looks like the Grey family is cornering the cutting-edge agriculture market, both land and sea. We will have to watch stocks in those sectors."
